You have a lot of duel and not much story.. It's good to keep the dialogue to a minimum (To keep readers entertained) but they need something to discuss or some kind of conflict. Keep it up and get even better.

Chapter 11 is now up.

 

 

Chapter 11

 

“I can’t believe we let that psycho into our minds. They took our families Brian Aaron had

 

been saying to me?” I was a loss for words. I looked into the darkness of the soda I had been

 

drinking. I felt like this Marik guy could have someone watching us at every minute. And it

 

wouldn’t do any good going to the police because he might have someone in the force that

 

might work for him. Anyway we looked at it, we were doomed. The only way we would even

 

have a chance was by defeating Marik and his gang of Rare Hunters. “I’m going out said

 

Amanda. And don’t worry because I’ll be right back. I forgot something in the car.” “Alright but

 

hurry back.” A few minutes had passed and there was no sign of Amanda. We decided to go

 

check by the car. There was a note attached to the van. I decided to read it aloud. “Be at

 

the pier in one hour or you will never see her again… or any of your family. Signed Marik.” A

 

few of the others decided that we should go save her. “No. I am going to do it on my own. He

 

is obviously doing this to get us all in the same place. I won’t let his plan fall into place. I

 

leave now. You guys find a safe place to hide.” I took off before the others could say

 

anything. I arrived at the pier 45 minutes later. I looked around only to see a anchor on the

 

pier with Amanda strapped into a chair unconscious. On the one side of the platform was a

 

mysterious bald duelist waiting for me. I knew by the grin on his face. The arena was the

 

same set up as when Yugi had to go up against Joey. I knew what the drill was so I had

 

shackled myself into the chain knowing that we only had a half hour to duel. I activated my

 

duel disk and drew five cards. “Looks like you know the drill. Master Marik was right, you do

 

catch on fast. My name is Strings. You are about to face a mighty Egyptian God Card. But I

 

won’t be dueling you.” “Let me guess, Amanda will.” “Wrong, I will.” It must have been

 

Marik. “So why not duel me in person? Why have one of your lackies do it for you?” “Wow,

 

aren’t we full of questions today, aren’t we? The time isn’t right; however, I am in Battle City.

 

But even saying that is too much information. Let me explain this duel. As you lose life points

 

Amanda will slowly be dragged into the sea. Shall we begin the duel?” “Fine but it’s not much

 

of a challenge. For you see once you disappeared from Seeker’s body I knew that I would be

 

up against stronger forces then him. So I snagged his Exodia cards.” “Then why would you tell

 

me this? Unless…. Unless you already have the five cards in your hand.” “You got it. It looks

 

as though you lose this duel, one of your captives, and your Egyptian God Card. It belongs to

 

me now. “No matter, you still don’t know how to use it, if you can. Besides, I have a stronger,

 

more powerful God Card in my possession. Take your friend and get back to the others, but I

 

recommend you get the ten locator cards for I WILL be at the finals waiting for you with the

 

other Egyptian God Card. Until then Brian.” Just then Amanda had been released and Strings

 

had fallen to the ground. Two hours later we arrived to meet the gang. They were no longer

 

there, but the rest of the families were. They said they heard about the victory and went to

 

scavenge for locater cards. One hour after we meet up at the local hangout in town. As it

 

turned out all of us officially had ten locater cards. After a good nights rest we would head for

 

the location of the hidden Battle City Finals Location.

Chapter 12 Is Now Posted

 

 

Chapter 12

 

Me and the gang were talking around town as we were on our way to the location of the

 

finals. I don’t know happened so fast but it just did. Before we knew it we were being forced

 

into a duel by a bunch of street punks. I assumed that they overheard us talking about how

 

we were on our way to the finals. The leader of the group came out. “I’ll make you a deal. I

 

pick two random duelists in your little group. You happen to lose then you each fork over 5

 

locater cards. You win and we let you pass. I pick you and you” He had been pointing to

 

Aaron and Janet. They nodded at each other. Everyone else on both sides stepped back. “I’ll

 

begin the duel. I draw only to summon my Giant Orc in attack mode (2200/0). Your move

 

kid.” “This kid is going to mop the floor with you. I draw. I summon Warrior Dai Grepher in

 

attack mode (1700/1600). I end with two face down cards.” “That leaves me to go. I draw. I

 

summon Exploder Dragon in attack mode (1000/0). That ends my turn.” “I summon another

 

Orc (2200/0). They attack both monsters.” “When my dragon gets destroyed in battle he

 

destroys the monster that destroyed him. Plus, I take zero damage.” “Now for my comeback. I

 

reveal the two facedown cards that I had. They are Lucky Iron Axe & Sword of Deep Seated.

 

They each raise my Dai Grepher’s attack points my 500. (2700) (3500/4000/4000).” I end my

 

turn.” “You wanna finish him up or should I?” “I want to but if you can then go for it.” “Let’s

 

see what I can do. I draw. I play the spell card Reload. Reload lets me reshuffle my cards into

 

my deck only to draw the same amount of cards that I put in. Time to shuffle. I summon

 

Masked Dragon in attack mode (1400/1100) Attack now, Fire Blast (2100/4000/4000), It’s all

 

up to you.” “And I will have fun with this guy. My draw. I only equip my Gravity Axe Grarl spell

 

to my monster to raise it another 500 points (3200). Finish this now, axe slash attack

 

(0/4000/4000). Now move out of our ways or be moved.” The gang of people slowly backed

 

up only to go back how they were before the whole conflict started. We just looked at each

 

other with weird looks. We didn’t mind it though. We just kept walking. We followed the map

 

that was displayed on the locater cards. They led us to this little tea shop downtown. We

 

entered. Inside was a man surprised to see us. He said these very words: “I never thought I

 

would see duelists this early in the competition. Well since you have your proof, Hear is the

 

real location of the finals. But to get them you must duel against me. So let’s get groovified.

 

Which one of you wants to feel my wrath?” “Don’t worry about this old guy because he’s

 

mine” said Debby from behind. “I’ll go first as well. I summon Etoile Cyber in attack mode

 

(1200/1600). To end my turn I equip her with Malevolent Nuzzler and I play a face down.

 

Incase your wondering my spell card raises my attack by 700 points (1900). Your move old

 

man. “Very well. I summon the Ancient Lamp which allows me to summon La Ginn, the Mystical

 

Genie of the Lamp (1800/800). I boost his attack with Banner of Courage. It gives all

 

monsters on my field 200 attack points during the battle phase, attack (2000).” I reveal my

 

Spell Purification Trap Card. By discarding one card I deactivate your spell card. What else

 

you got?” “I end my turn”

 

”Since I discarded my Marie the Fallen One last turn I gain 200 points during each stand-by

 

phase (4200/3900) I summon my Bountiful Artemis in attack mode (1600/1700). Attack the

 

lamp with Shining Light (4200/3200). Now follow up with a direct attack. Plus, when my card

 

attacks directly she gains an extra 600 points (2500) (4200/700). Your move.” “I surrender. I

 

would rather forfeit than see my precious monsters be destroyed. You have proven your

 

worthiness. Please head to the back room with this map and instructions. Once we had the

 

little “gift” from the old man I had started to wonder why Kaiba would send us to a dainty

 

little tea shop. I guess the message inside the box was going to explain all.

Here is the long awaited Chapter 13. There is a surprise in this chapter.

 

 

Chapter 13

 

We were wondering what was contained in the letter but we didn’t want the surprise to be

 

over with either. Everyone was looking through their decks minding their own business. I was

 

rebuilding my entire deck from scratch. I came across a certain card and thought that it

 

should be with Kevin. I walked over to his deck when he had gone to the bathroom. I placed it

 

7th in his deck. When he got back I challenged him to a duel for a reaction. “Why do you

 

want to duel now? “I was editing my deck and I wanna see if it was for the better.” I was

 

telling the truth but not the entire thing. There was a duel arena in the basement of the shop

 

that the old man said we could use. I stood on one side while Kevin stood on the other. “I’ll

 

go first Kevin.” “Not so fast. You always win when you go first so this time I’m going

 

first.” “Fine by me, just make your move.” “I draw. I activate the spell card Soul of Fire. This

 

lets me remove from play one Fire attribute monster in my deck from play. Half of that

 

monsters attack points are then deducted from your life points. I pick Volcanic Hammerer.

 

Now you lose 1200 life points (2800/4000). I end my turn by summoning Volcanic Scattershot

 

in defense mode (500/0).” “Then I guess it’s my turn now. I draw. I activate the spell card

 

Pot of Greed. This card lets me draw 2 more cards. Now I activate the spell card Magical

 

Mallet which lets me shuffle any amount of cards into my deck and then draw the same

 

amount of cards that I put back. I think I’ll put back 4 cards. Now I activate the spell card

 

Toon World. This card costs me 1000 life points. But that’s a small sacrifice to allow me to

 

summon as any toons as I want. So I would like to welcome my Gazelle the King of the

 

Mystical Beast (1500/1200). Although he’s not staying around. I sacrifice him for my first

 

toon, the Toon Summoned Skull (2500/1200). That ends my turn seeing as how I can’t attack

 

with it on the turn that it’s summoned.” “Lucky for me. I draw. Hey, I’ve never seen this card

 

in my deck before. Anyone know how this card got into my deck? It’s called In….” “Infernal

 

Flame Emperor.” “How did you know?” “I put it there. It’s a gift for you.” “Thanks, but now I

 

am going to whip your butt with it. I summon Dark Fire Soldier #2 in attack mode

 

(1700/1100). I end my turn with one card facedown.” “Fine by me, I draw. I revive Gazelle

 

with the power of Monster Reborn (1500/1200). I then summon my Royal Knight (1300/800). I

 

sacrifice both of them for Toon Blue Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500). Attack my skull, static

 

thunder. Although I do have to pay 500 life points to attack, it’s worth it (2300/1500). It’s

 

your move if you can stand.” “Oh I can stand, but let me know if you can after this. I draw. I

 

sacrifice my two monsters on the field, which when Scattershot goes to the graveyard you

 

lose 500 points. Anyway I now summon Infernal Flame Emperor (1800/1500). Now I remove

 

one fire monster from play to destroy Toon World. And when Toon World is gone so are those

 

things you call monsters. Now I attack directly, FIRE BLAST (0/1500).” “Wow, Brian lost. I

 

don’t think he’s ever lost a duel before.” I was on my knees when I realized that I lost. I kept

 

thinking… how dare I replace the cards in my deck. “Brian!” It was Kevin. “You shouldn’t have

 

replaced the cards in your deck.” He handed me my old deck. I held both of them in my hand.

 

I threw the one that I lost with on the ground and I stood up. I have gifts for the rest of you.

 

I handed them each a card that suited their deck styles. What I didn’t realize was that Frank

 

had created a new deck… a union deck. So I went back to the pile of cards and picked out a

 

card that suited his cards. We then sat down for the event of the day, finding out where the

 

Battle City II Finals were.

yep. I think what I'm going to do is start chapter 14 tonight and post it tomorrow. Either way it will be up tomorrow.

Chapter 14

 

 

We finally decided to open the letter. I read it aloud to the rest of the group. “I hope you are

 

reading this while you are together. I have your matches for the first round. However the

 

duels will be someplace with more taste.” It gave an address stating that we had to be there

 

one hour from now. Frank read the address and had this to say “I know this address; it’s an

 

empty construction site. I wonder why he wants us to go there

 

?” “I have no idea. Maybe that is just another game as well.” We arrived at the site which

 

contained yet another letter. There were also 2 of Kaiba’s goons there as well. They had on

 

duel disks which made wonder if we were dueling them. “Let’s open the letter said Aaron.” I

 

did it and looked at the goons who had smirks on their faces. “What does it say Brian asked

 

Janet?” “Go ahead and tell them Brian said one of the goons.” “We have to tag team and take

 

down these nut jobs to move on. Do we get to pick our partners?” “Yes. But you only have 2

 

minutes to decide.” “That’s alright with me.” “Well, I would like to duel with my little brother

 

said Kevin.” “I’d like to duel with my wife said Frank.” “I’ll duel with Aaron I had said. That

 

leaves Amanda and Debby to duel with each other. If it is alright with you guys I would like to

 

go first to get back my strength.” They all nodded with agreement. We stepped up to the two

 

goons. “We’ll go first. And I shall make the first move. I draw. I activate two copies of the

 

spell card Pot of Greed. Now I draw 4 more cards. Now I activate the final copy of my Pot of

 

Greed. I lay 3 cards face down to end my turn.” “My turn now said Goon number one. I

 

summon Melchid the 4 Faced Beast in attack mode (1500/1200).

short chap, but a good start of a duel

I know it took a while but I was planning the rest of this book out. So here is Chapter 15.

 

Chapter 15

 

“I don’t know about you Aaron but I don’t think I have enough cards in my hand, so I reveal

 

the 3 trap cards, Jar of Greed. Each allowing me to draw one card for a total of 3….. Perfect,

 

I drew the exact cards to end this duel. I summon Exodia, The Forbidden One.” The giant

 

being appeared out of the darkness. He gathered up what looked like a little bit of his strength

 

only to knock Kaiba’s goons onto the floor (4000/4000/0/0). “It looks as though Brian has

 

edited his deck again. No matter, he will see that his ways are wrong yet again. At least we

 

won the duel.” “As the victors of the duel you get to choose the next pair of duelists.” “I

 

choose Frank and Amanda to go next in the tag team matches.” Amanda and Frank had

 

shuffled their decks, inserted them into the deck recognition and turned on the duel disks. “I

 

shall begin the duel announced Frank. I draw. I activate the spell card Soul of the Pure. In the

 

English version I would gain 800 life points, but since I activated the Japanese version I gain

 

2000 life points (6000/4000/4000/4000). Now I place 1 card face down and summon V Tiger

 

Jet in attack mode (1600/1800). Actually I think I’ll place two cards face down. It’s your

 

move. I activate the spell card Redirectional Force. This forces my turn to become Amanda’s,

 

but I gain 1500 life points (6000/4000/5500/4000).” “Fine by me. It’s my move. I draw. I

 

activate Double Summon, summoning my Moai Interceptor Cannons in Attack Mode only to

 

sacrifice them for Criosphinx in defense mode (1200/2400). And since I have a sphinx monster

 

on the field I am able to special summon Exxod, Master of the guard in attack mode (0/4000).

 

I place one card face down and end my turn.” “I activate the same card as my partner which

 

makes it Franks turn in exchange; I get 1500 points (6000/4000/5500/5500).” “Fine by me. I

 

draw. I activate the spell card Frontline Base to summon Z Metal Tank. Then I play Double

 

Summon to summon both X Head Cannon and my Y Dragon Head. Next I play Pot of Greed to

 

draw two more cards. Now I summon the Union Fusion monster XYZ Dragon Cannon. Next I

 

activate Double Attack sending my W Wing Catapult to the grave to attack twice with my

 

Dragon Cannon. Now for one more card. I activate the spell card Limiter Removal to double

 

the attack points of my Machine Monsters which give my Dragon Cannon the stats of

 

5600/2600. Finish them off. Dragon Synchro Wave. (6000/4000/0/0).

Chapter 16 Has Now Arrived

 

 

Chapter 16

 

The two goons fell to their feet yet again. They were really starting to get mad. “Alright, next

 

to duelists get yourselves ready!” “I pick Janet and Dylan to take you two apart. They

 

shouldn’t have a problem with you two but I really want to be amused.” “Fine with us said

 

Janet and Dylan” They both locked and loaded their decks into their duel disks and activated

 

them; as did the two agents. All life points were reset to 4000 and the game was about to

 

begin. “I’ll go first announced Dylan. I activate the Field Spell card Skyscraper. Now, when my

 

Elemental Hero attacks and is weaker, he gains an extra 1000 points. Now I summon Elemental

 

Hero Wildheart ending my turn (1500/1600).” “Time for the big boys to take control. I activate

 

Polymerization fusing Marie the Fallen One and The Forgiving Maiden to form the mighty St.

 

Joan (2800/2600). That ends my turn.” “My turn. I activate my own Polymerization fusing to

 

create the ultimate dragon, Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Now I activate the spell card Quick

 

Attack letting my card attack now. Neutron Blast.” The agent that hadn’t made a move was

 

knocked down to his feet. The other agent just stood there in shock of the new creature. The

 

dragon stared down the agent as well. “My turn again. Now I activate the spell card Brain

 

Control. Only now I activate a second one. Now I pay 1600 life points and I get both your

 

monsters for the turn. Now I attack with St. Joan (4000/4000/1200/0). Now I finish you off….

 

NEUTRON BLAST (4000/4000/0/0).” Both agents yet again fell to the ground. The more they

 

lost the more they were getting irritated. They got back up in a really nasty attitude. They

 

kept arguing with each other about how it was the other ones fault and how they had to gear

 

up for the rest of the contestants. “Looks as though you and Debby are going to be working

 

together Kevin.” “Looks like. I just hope this is another easy victory like yours, because we

 

could really do without these two.” The two guards only stared at us with angry looks. “LETS

 

DUELS ALREADY they would yell.” These two were not working as a team. Find out how this

 

works out in Chapter 17 of The Future Is Now.

“I’ll go first volunteered Debby. Oh but before I do…. Brian, I took that old deck you were

 

using, you know, the one back at the tea shop. Hope it really works. Anyways, I draw. I

 

summon Oni Tank T-34 in defense mode (1400/1700). That ends my turn.” “My turn. Now we

 

aren’t going to go easy on you brats. You thought that going last would help you but you’re

 

going to regret it. Now I summon The Tricky by discarding one card. Actually, I do that two

 

more times (2000/1000 *3). Your move kid.” “It’s about time. I activate the devastating spell

 

card Soul of Fire. By discarding a fire monster from my deck to the graveyard I am able to

 

deal damage equal to half of the cards attack points. And the luck monster to be sacrificed

 

is… Volcanic Hammerer. That means you lose 1200 life points each (4000/4000/2800/2800).

 

Now for the fun part. I summon Crimson Century in defense mode and I lay one card face

 

down (1500/1200). You move you goon.” “It’s about time. I start and end my turn my

 

discarding 3 cards to summon 3 The Trickies (2000/1000 *3). Your move little girl.” “Good.

 

Now I draw. I place one card face down and summon the Mysterious Puppeteer in defense

 

mode (1000/1500). Make your move” “I will. I activate Triangular Strike. Now I sacrifice 2 of

 

the three monsters on my field. And for the turn I can attack directly and my attack rises by

 

2000 (4000/1000). Now I attack the little girl directly.” “Not so fast, you activated my trap

 

card announced Kevin. Fire Wall. Now I remove my Volcanic Hammerer from play to negate

 

your attack. Looks like your sacrifice was in vain.” “Yes, but now I have made you waste your

 

down card.” “Not really. My card is a permanent trap card.” “Whatever, just go.” “I will, I

 

draw. And since I know that you have no way of stopping me I activate 3 copies of

 

Tremendous Fire. Now it is true that me and Debby lose 1500 life points

 

(2500/2500/2800/2800), but now you both lose 3000 life points (2500/2500/0/0). Look’s as

 

though we get through the gates after all. See you guys around. The 8 of us had entered the

 

facility. For the old look to that building was misleading. It was very fancy inside. We had all

 

saw that Seto Kaiba was on the balcony, so we knew we were in the right place. “It’s about

 

time you got here. Have a look around and choose any room you want to be yours. We still

 

are waiting on the other 7 contestants.” They are probably going to be Marik and 6 of his

 

Rare Hunters.

 

Who else is going to be in the Finals? Will it really be the best of Marik’s gang? Stay tuned and find out in the next chapter where all the answers are revealed… or are they.

Chapter 18

 

 

We decided to take Mr. Kaiba up on his offer by taking a look around and deciding which

 

rooms would be for whom. After we were situated, we were guided into the dining room.

 

There, the other 8 duelists were waiting. One of them was Marik. And then, we saw him stand

 

up. I couldn’t believe it, it was really him. “Yugi… Muoto? You’re one of the duelists we have

 

to duel?” I was star struck. What I hadn’t realized was that while the rest of the team was

 

sitting down by the plates with their names on it, Frank was getting into a fight with some

 

kid. “Watch it kid, you’re in my seat.” “This is my seat old man. And if you don’t believe me I’ll

 

duel you for it. The loser gets out of the tournament while the winner gets the seat and the

 

right to stay.” “Now there’s an idea. How about you two duel for it in my private arena said

 

Kaiba.” He always had a thing about watching people duel to their limits. “Fine by me…. Let’s

 

get this over with.” We followed Kaiba into the arena. “Kaiba, I don’t see what is so special

 

about this dueling arena questioned Yugi.” “You’ll find out Yugi.” He snapped his fingers and

 

the arena was transforming. There were platforms now onto the side of the walls. Frank and

 

the kid stepped onto them. They rose up into the air. They didn’t stop for about 1 minute. But

 

when they did, there was a number on the wall, 4000. As you looked down it counted down

 

marking life points. Let the duel begin… We will know who the victor is because they will be

 

the only one in the air. Now let the duel commence. “Age before beauty old man.” The kid

 

was way to over confident, but I think Frank was too. Yugi was enjoying this as well. But not

 

in the same sense as Kaiba. “I’ll go first kid. I play a card in defense mode and end my

 

turn.” “That’s it. Well I can do better then that. I summon my Insect Knight in attack mode

 

(1900/1500). Now attack.” You just destroyed my Big Eye. Which lets me look at the top 5

 

cards of my deck and put them in any order I want. There all done.” “I end with the spell card

 

Forest. It gives all of my bugs and extra 200 attack and defense points (2100/1700). “My

 

draw. I place one card in defense mode and I play 2 cards face down to end my turn.” “You

 

are the most boring duelist. I summon another Insect Knight.” “I may be boring but I am good.

 

I reveal the trap card Trap Hole. Since your monster has at least 1000 attack points, it is

 

automatically destroyed.” “Fine, I attack you again.” “It was Witch of the Black Forest which

 

when destroyed I get a monster with 1500 defense points or less to my hand. I choose X

 

Head Cannon.” “I end my turn.” “I draw yet another good card. I place one card face down

 

and end my turn.” “My draw, and I activate Graceful Charity and Pot of Greed.” “Stop… I

 

activate Fairies Hand Mirror, which gives me the effect of Pot of Greed instead of you. But

 

you still get Graceful Charity though.” “I end my turn.” “And you say that I’m boring. Well, I

 

draw again. I activate Polymerization to fuse to create Thousand Dragon (2400/2000). Now I

 

summon X Head Cannon in attack mode (1800/1500). Now attack with 1000 year old dust and

 

laser cannon (4000/1900). I place one card face down and end my turn.” I draw.” “And in

 

that case, I activate the trap card RING OF DESTRUCTION, this card destroys one monster on

 

the field and deals damage to both players equal to that monsters attack points (1600/0).

 

Now get out before I throw you out.” The terminal had dropped to the floor since the kids life

 

points had dropped to zero. When he got down, he was crying as he ran out the

 

door. “Congrats, you have saved us from seeing that cry later from when someone else beats

 

him. You have a advancement to the next round Mr. Ryan announced Kaiba.” He headed to

 

his own sweet, which once the door opened we got a glimpse of Mokuba. All of the finalists

 

stared at each other with rivalry faces… that is, everyone except me and Yugi. We both had

 

smiles on our faces as we headed to our sweets as well. As it turned out, we were both

 

sharing a room. From there on we became friends. As the night went on me and Yugi were

was Kaiba himself. But Mokuba was there. He was the one that turned on the arena power. I

 

stepped onto the Champion platform while Joey stood on the Challenger platform. They both

 

rose to the 4000 mark and it was game on.

Chapter 19 is up. ONE MORE CHAPTER TO GO

 

Chapter 19

 

“You’re about to get schooled, and Professor Joey Wheeler is in the house. I begin by

 

summoning my Panther Warrior in attack mode (2000/1600). I place one card face down and

 

end my turn.” “It’s about time Wheeler. Now I can finally go. I place one monster in defense

 

position and place one card face down as well, and that shall suffice.” “Good, now I activate

 

the spell cards Double Attack and Scapegoat. First up is Double Attack, I discard Rocket

 

Warrior in order for my Panther to attack you twice. Now Scapegoat gives me 4 sheep tokens.

 

And since my Panther Warrior needs a sacrifice in order to attack I can offer one to

 

attack.” “Not so fast, I activate the trap card Magic Jammer, which by sending one card to

 

the graveyard, I am able to cancel the effects of your Scapegoat.” “I end my turn by

 

summoning the Swordsman of Landstar in defense mode (500/1200).” “My turn now. I draw. I

 

flip summon Big Eye (1200/1000). Now I am able to look at the top five cards of my deck, and

 

arrange them in any order that I want. I now summon Marauding Captain in attack mode

 

(1200/400). I also equip him with the spell cards Mage Power and Lucky Iron Axe. Mage Power

 

gives 500 points to my monster for every spell and trap I have on the field, while my axe just

 

gives him another 500 points. I place one more card face down, giving my Captain a grand

 

total of 2700 attack points. Now I attack the panther (4000/3300).” Joey’s terminal had gone

 

down 70 feet. He was ready for more. “That’s all?” “For now it is.” “Good said Joey recovering

 

from the attack. I activate Pot of Greed drawing 2 more cards. Now I sacrifice my swordsman

 

for Jinzo (2400/1500). With him out you can’t use traps. Now I activate Mystical Space

 

Typhoon destroying your face down card. Now I attack your Captain, Cybernetic Shockwave

 

(3800/3300). I now end my turn” “It’s about time Wheeler. I draw. I activate Pot of Greed as

 

well. Now I have two cards for the price of one. Next I activate Graceful Charity, drawing 3

 

cards as long as I discard 2 to the graveyard. And looky here, another Pot of Greed. Now I

 

have 3 cards now. I activate Return of the Loyal Soldier. I return my monster on the field for

 

one that is in my hand and is the same level as Big Eye. I choose Giant Orc. Now the card

 

that ends this duel. I activate Tribute to the Doomed. I discard my Big Eye to destroy Jinzo.

 

Now finish it my mighty Giant Orc (3800/0). Good duel Joey I said as both terminals came to

 

the ground.” “Whatever, you just got lucky this time, but when I duel you next time the

 

results will be different.” “Keep talking Wheeler, that will get you nowhere. A good friend of

 

mine taught me that when I wanted to change the style of my deck. I was beaten miserably.

 

He showed me that once you have connected with your cards, they are truly the cards that

Marik’s younger biological brother. Marik may have been adopted, but I am his brother. We

 

met before, when he was still evil, he told me if he ever crossed over, he wanted me to fulfill

 

his destiny by bringing Egypt and its Pharaoh to their knees.” I was astonished by what I had

 

heard, and then I looked over at Yugi. He was disgusted at what he had heard. “We’ll deal

 

with you in the morning Tut, until then good night. I went back to the room, them Yugi

 

entered a few minutes later. He was not in a good mood. He crawled into his covers and went

 

to bed. A few minutes later I fell asleep as well.

I'm surprised you didn't say anything on the Marik-Tut sitch. Well I know that Chapter 20 isn't the greatest of chapters, and I am not that good at endings. So here is the imfamous ending to book 1.

 

Chapter 20

 

Before I knew it the night had already come to an end. The sun had shown itself into the

 

room, that was the only good news this morning. Marik had actually turned out to be his

 

younger brother Tut. And on top of that, he was trying to accomplish what Marik had tried to

 

do 5 years ago. Me and the rest of the gang had to make sure that he doesn’t succeed. For if

 

he does, the entire world would be feeling his wrath. Even though I don’t know a lot about

 

how he plans to do this, I am sure that Yugi would fill me in if I asked him. When I woke up

 

that morning he wasn’t in his bed, infact he wasn’t even in the hallway. I took my deck and

 

my duel disk and went looking for him. I went to the duel arena. I found everyone else there. I

 

caught on that I was the last one to wake up. I looked around for Tut. He was there smiling

 

his big little head off. Whatever he had planned it was big. I had to make sure that whatever

 

it was… He didn’t succeed. Everyone was waiting on one thing. And that one thing would

 

determine the fate of the world. That one thing, is who faces who in the 1st round of the
