Heres Chapter 9 ENJOY!

 

 

Chapter 9

When we opened the door to get the not, a bunch of thoughts had been running through our

 

heads, but the most important one was… what’s inside and what does it say? I opened the

 

note reading it aloud. “I hope you are ready to face the ultimate task, the lives of your

 

families depend on it. However as you will se I am not as bad as you think. For I am giving out

 

the location of the first rare hunter. If you lose, you have to fork over your top three rare

 

cards. Then if they manage to leave you in one piece then you can get a second chance at

 

them. After that there won’t be a third chance. Anyway, the location of this duelist is going

 

to be in Town Square. Good Luck duelists. Signed, Marik.” “Looks like we should get a move

 

on before any harm comes upon our families stated Amanda.” “Let’s get into the van so we

 

can get this party started said Janet” We piled into the van one by one, after everyone was

 

in the car we left the house hoping that our families were still in one piece. Once we arrived

 

at Town Square, a couple of blimps appeared soaring around the city. It was Seto

 

Kaiba. “Greetings duelists, and welcome to the Battle City Tournament II. I hope that you are

 

ready to get busy. This is not going to be as easy as my last tournament. Here’s the deal, like

 

last time you will duel for locater cards. However, this time you need a grand total of 10

 

locater cards, making this one of the toughest tournaments ever. If you win you get the

 

opponents locater cards and the location of 10 random duelist profiles in your duel disk, that

 

will not only give you the info on the duelist but it will give you their location. If you don’t

 

want to duel then you turn your duel disk off. If you are in the mood for dueling then you

 

leave your duel disk on stand-by. Now if everyone understands this then let the tournament

 

commence.” We split up hoping to locate the where abouts of the first rare hunter so we

 

could rescue our family. When we split up we went in pairs of two. Janet went with Frank, I

 

went with Aaron, Kevin went with Dylan, and Amanda went with Debby. We decided to meet

 

in front f the courthouse in one hour. If we didn’t find him we would start dueling other people

 

so if we were to lose we would still have locater cards to challenge him with. It had been a

 

had hour before we had seen each other. We decided if we saw him we would call him on the

 

cell phone to alert the others. When Kevin and Dylan had been walking looking at every

 

possible direction they heard a voice. “So are you gonna stand there all day while the

 

chances of your friends seeing their families slithers away.” The duelist came out of the

 

crowd. He was wearing a black cape and a laptop. He had a big grin on his face. “Let’s duel

 

said Dylan” “I don’t duel squirts. But if your brother wanted to give you a hand I wouldn’t

 

have a problem with that. However, if I am victorious, I get both of your souls with no

 

questions asked.” “Fine by me. How about you Dylan?” “Fine by me Kevo. It’s time to duel. Let

 

me alert the others that we found him. Hey, my cell phone isn’t working.” “Please, did you

 

honestly think that I’d let you contact your friends. It’s just gonna be us three that now

 

about it. Follow me into the courthouse.” Kevin and Dylan followed him into the stone wall

 

building climbing to the top. When they arrived there were a set of doors. They walked on

 

through. It was a courtroom. It was old though. Everything about it was outdated. By the

 

plaintiff and defendant stands were two steel platforms with chains on them. “Please step

 

onto the platform and strap yourselves in. And just so you don’t think I’m cheating I will do

 

the same.” “What are these for …. What’s your name?” “You can call me Seeker. And the

 

chains and platforms shall be explained. I am going to set a timer for two minutes. Every time

 

the timer reaches zero, the chains are going to shock you for the amount of damage that you

 

took that round. Then in the end, the two duelists with the lowest lifepoints get shocked

 

again. When you win there will be a box that appears in front of the winner. If its one of you

 

there will be two keys, one for each of you. If it’s met hen I am the only one to walk out of

 

here with my soul. Everyone understand the rules said Seeker as he turned on his duel disk?”

 

Both Kevin and Dylan said yes and they turned on their duel disks.

Here is Chapter 10. i hope you enjoy.

 

 

 

Chapter 10

“I’ll begin this duel you rookies. I summon Stone Statue of the Aztecs in defense mode

 

(300/2000). To end my turn I activate the spell card Swords of Revealing Light. Now for 3

 

turns you are unable to attack. Your move fools.” “Good so I think I will begin with this;

 

Elemental Hero Wildheart. Then to end the turn I play one card facedown. You’re up

 

brother.” “So I am. I start and end the turn by summoning Solar Flare Dragon in defense mode

 

(1500/1000). And whenever I end my turn you lose 500 life points. It’s your move, and now

 

the first turn of my dragon’s effect activates (4000/4000/3500).” “I draw and end my

 

turn.” “My draw again. I play another Wildheart, but this one is going in defense mode

 

(1500/1600). I end my turn.” “My turn, I place a defensive card which ends my turn, only to

 

activate the effect of Solar Flare Dragon. Incase you forgot, that burns away 500 lifepoints

 

(4000/4000/3000)” “You realize I will put a stop to all of this. I draw only to play Gear Golem

 

the Moving Fortress (800/2200).” “Back to me. I summon Elemental Hero Sparkman in attack

 

mode (1600/1400). That ends my turn.” “My turn? Wow, this duel is going by so fasssss. Oh

 

that hurt. “The first of many shock waves have begun. But it seems I have “accidentally”

 

forgotten to turn on my shock waves. Looks like I don’t get to participate in all of your

 

fun.” “Yeah, you really “forgot”. Whatever, my move. I play a defense and flip up my Fire

 

Sorcerer in attack mode (1000/1500). When she is flip summoned, I can send two random

 

cards from my hand to the graveyard to deal out 800 points of direct damage. And let’s not

 

forget about my dragon. When I end my turn he deals out another 500 points of damage

 

(4000/4000/1300).” “Alright time to end this now. I activate Graceful Charity. This card allows

 

me to draw 3 cards as long as I discard two cards from my hand. I activate the spell card

 

Double Summon, which lets me summon twice this turn. I summon two more Stone Statue of

 

the Aztec (300/2000). That ends my turn.” “Dylan just pass and I can win this for

 

us.” “Alright bro, but I just don’t wanna get shocked so can I play my trap card

 

first?” “Sure!” “I reveal the trap card Elemental Recharge, and for every Elemental Hero on my

 

field I gain 1000 life points (4000/7000/1300). It’s up to you bro.” “Fine with me, I am gonna

 

end this with two cards. Now I flip Lady Assailant of Flames. By removing the top 3 cards of

 

my deck from play you lose 800 life points (4000/7000/500). Now it’s time to end my turn said

 

Kevin with a smirk on his face. And as you know once I end my turn you lose the

 

duel. “NOOOOOOOOOOOO! This can’t be. I refuse to lose to a bunch of kids.” “You just did

 

because I’m ending my turn now (4000/7000/0). Seeker fell down after losing the duel and a

 

clack box with that same eye insignia had appeared out of the floor. Also, as the box rose,

 

the judge’s chair had sunk into the desk. When it came back, two family members had

 

appeared. Dylan unlocked the shooken Kevin after being shocked that one last time. After

 

that they rescued the family members, who turned out to be Amanda’s parents. After

 

everyone was safe they used Amanda’s cell phone to contact me. We arrived 5 minutes later.

 

We tried to get information out of Amanda’s parents but they couldn’t remember a thing. Just

 

then Seeker had risen after all of that silence. “I congratulate you on your victory. As a

 

reward I thought it would be nice to show you I did nothing to your parents Amanda. Plus,

 

look at the cards my rare hunter had in his hand.” At the moment I was wondering why the

 

rare hunter was referring to himself in the third person. But that question was no longer in my

 

brain once I saw the cards he was holding. They were four out of five Exodia cards. Then the

 

rare hunter drew one card. It was the fifth Exodia piece. If Kevin didn’t end it when he did,

 

they would have lost. “I bet your wondering why I keep calling out in third person. The truth

 

is I am Marik. I have what is known as the Millennium Rod which allows me to take over the

 

minds of my servants trapping their minds in the Shadow Realm. But there is no need to worry

 

about that. I am here to congratulate you on your victory. As for the location of the next

 

Rare Hunter, I can only give you a clue. Don’t PARK your car in the wrong place. Well, have a

 

nice day.” Just then Seeker had dropped to the floor. We had decided to take Amanda’s

 

parents to the Ryan’s house for now and then get some lunch. After that we would start the

 

search for Rare Hunter 2.
