This is only the first Chapter and I will put in the profiles before posting the story. FYI I know that this chapter is short and the other chapters will be longer. ENJOY!

ENJOY THE STORY (CHAPTER 2 IS BEGIN WRITTEN AS YOU READ THIS)

 

CHAPTER 1

And the first match in Round 1 is… “Sorry I guess I should start from the beginning. My name is Brian and I am 14 years old & I am in the first yugioh tournament I am playing in and I entered with all my friends. You’ll here about them later on. Here’s the deal… me and my friends have been dueling for years. We have always loved doing it because it was another game that we could beat each other at. Well as of a few weeks ago we saw this poster on the card store down the road from my house. It said that there was going to be a Duel Monster tournament in 1 week. All we had to do was ask the man in the store to join and he told us to be at the Kaiba Dome in next Saturday at noon. We were signed up. However that had left 4 other spots for people to sign up. Plus there was a good probability that we would have to face each other. Everyday that week we had practice duels with kids in wither the park or the game shop. That week had gone by so fast that I couldn’t believe it when it was actually the day of the tournament. When we arrived the other four duelists had already been there. We each had our own waiting room so that the mystery of who else was in the tournament would stay. When the announcement was made we met on the duel platform and there we got a glimpse of each other. I knew everyone that was participating too. Well Time to see how things will work out.”

 

 

“Welcome duelists… look at the people around you; they will be your rivals in this tournament. And now here to make his speech it’s Mr. SETO KAIBA!” “Welcome duelists. I hope you didn’t come here looking for a easy match because if you want the mystery prize then you will duel your best. The prize is you get to take two guests and join my new Battle City Tournament (He is hosting another one) and make it so you have the advantage. I think that’s worth dueling for. So without further ado I present to you the duel randomizer. Each of you were assigned a number that has been placed into this machine. Its going to jumble them up if you will, and then it’s gonna spit two out with the first contestants to duel in my tournament. Roland, start the machine!” The machine jumbled the balls that were placed inside. When the machine stopped two white balls came out. The first person that will compete in the first match is…. Kevin Ryan! “Oh yeah I’m in the zone” replied Kevin. “The second person competing against Mr. Ryan is going to be… Mr. Dylan Ryan.” “Looks like it’s just you and me big brother.” “You got it. I wouldn’t’ have it any other way.” “Good, then would the 6 duelists that aren’t dueling please take a seat. We would like to get started with the first round. Here are the rules, each duelist begins with 4000 life points and there are no card restrictions just as long as there are 40 cards. Ready? BEGIN!”

Here is Chapter 2

Chapter 2

“I’ll begin by playing my Volcanic Blaster in defense mode (1200/600). Then I play one card face down and end my turn.”

“My turn Bro! I summon Elemental Hero Avian in defense mode (1000/1000) and I play two cards face down. Back to you”

“Back to me. I summon Great Angus in attack mode (1800/600). Then I attack your Avian.”

“Stop right there, you activated my trap card; Hero Barrier, which negates one attack against one Elemental Hero.”

“I end my turn”

“I draw, only to summon Elemental Clayman in defense mode (800/2000). Your move big brother.”

“I summon The Ultimate Baseball Kid in attack mode (500/1000).

“Why would you do that? Even my Clayman could defeat that thing.”

“Not once I activate my cards special ability. For each fire card on my field, he gains 1000 attack points for a grand total of 2500. Then I switch my Volcanic Blaster to attack mode (1200). Blaster attacks Avian while my Great Angus attacks your Clayman. Now the baseball kid strikes directly (4000/1500). Now I sacrifice my Blaster and my Angus to deal out 1000 points of damage due to my kids other ability (4000/500). It’s your move if you can bear to stand again.”

“ I draw and activate Pot of Greed. Then I activate another Pot Of Greed. Next comes the fun part… well, for me that is. I activate the spell card Polymerization; fusing Elemental Heroes Avian and Burstinitrix to form the Elemental Hero Phoenix Enforcer. Then I play E- Emergency Call. Now I get access to my Elemental Hero Sparkman, only to fuse him with my fused Elemental Hero. Now I present the Elemental Shining Phoenix Enforcer (2500/2100) which gains an extra 300 points for each Elemental Hero in my graveyard. So that’s an extra 1800 points for a grand total of 4300. Now attack with shining justice. The baseball kid was incinerated by his own flames (200/500) It’s your move now.”

“I draw… only to end my turn” says Kevin with a disappointed look on his face.

“Looks like I win… I lay a facedown and attack with Shining Justice (0/500)”

“The winner of the first match is Dylan Ryan. He moves on to the second round. We will now take a 15 minute brake for the rest of the contestants to get ready.

CHAPTER 3

 

Chapter 3

“Now that the rest of the contestants are ready let the shuffling continue. The next two

 

duelists to face off will be Brian Erhardt and Debby Jones. Please shuffle your decks and lets

 

begin the duel.

 

“I’ll go first Debby. I play 1 facedown card and end my turn.”

 

“Knowing you Brian, that isn’t a trap card so we’ll see. I summon Etoile Cyber in attack mode

 

(1200/1600). Then I equip the spell card malevolent Nuzzler to her raising her attack by 700

 

points. Now attack directly, which activates her ability. When she attacks directly she gains

 

500 points (2400). Now attack!”

 

“Not so fast, I activate the Draining Shield trap card. It negates your attack and then raises

 

my lifepoints by the amount of your attack points (6400/4000).”

 

“Well then I guess I end my turn”

 

“My draw. I play one card face down and summon Chthonian Soldier in attack mode

 

(1200/1400). Now I attack your Etoile Cyber. And before you ask the special ability of my

 

monster makes it so you and I take the battle damage so it’s not just me. GO, wind blade

 

thrust (5700/3300). Your move.”

 

“I summon Bountiful Artemis in attack mode (1600/1700). Double Direct Attack!”

 

“I use my trap Mirror Force which destroys all monsters in attack mode.”

 

“Grrrr, I end my turn.”

 

“I draw and play Pot Of Greed. Now to end this duel. I activate the spell card Double Summon.

 

Now I can play two monsters in one turn. I choose Giant Orc and my Vorse Raider. End this

 

with a Double Direct Attack (5700/0).”

 

“The second round goes to Brian Erhardt. Congrats and welcome to the second round. I sat

 

down in the chair with my name on it, the Dylan came over.” “Looks like we’re both in the

 

semi- finals.” “Yeah just know that I’m not holding anything back.” “Thanks, me either. See ya

then.”

That's because I actually duel. Anyway, here is the next Chapter, Chapter 4.

 

Chapter 4

“The duelists that will take part in the next duel may come up onto the platform. Amanda

 

Alexander and Aaron Beling. Please come on up. Shuffle your decks and let the duel begin.”

 

“Ladies first.”

 

“Why thank you. I draw, and play one card face down and my Moai Interceptor Cannons in

 

defense mode (1100/2000). That ends my turn”

 

“My draw. I summon Exiled Force (1000/1000) only to sacrifice it to destroy your cannons.

 

Then I remove it from play to special summon the Rock Spirit (1700/1000), and during your

 

battle phase he gains 300 attack points. Now I activate 2 equip spells. The first I need to

 

discard first, its Wicked-Breaking Flamberge – Baqu and the other is Sword of Deep- Seated.

 

Both give my monster 500 points for a grand total of 2700. Now Attack (4000/1300). It’s your

move.”

 

“ I reveal the card Call of the haunted to bring back my cannons. Only to sacrifice them for

 

the Guardian Sphinx in defense mode (1700/2400) I play one more card down to end my turn.”

 

“I draw, then I summon Warrior Dai Grepher in attack mode (1700/1600) Now I attack with my

Rock Spirit. Rock Blast Barrage.”

 

“Go, Reliable Guardian. It’s a spell that give me 700 defense points for the turn (3900/1300)”

“I end my turn”

 

“I summon Black Ptera in defense mode to end my turn with one card face down.”

 

“Time to end this duel. I Summon Dark Blade in attack mode (1800/1500). Time for a triple

 

attack, I take out your two monsters with The Rock Spirit and Dai Grepher leaving my Dark

 

Blade to eliminate what little points you have left (3900/0).”

 

“The winner of the third round is Mr. Aaron Beling. In the final match we will have Mr. Frank

 

Ryan face off against his wife Mrs. Janet Ryan.”

it's a good chapter, but I do wonder if there's a plot to this story. So far all I see are duels and nothing more

CHAPTER 5

“Mr. Ryan, Mrs. Ryan, please step onto the platform for the start of your duel.”

“Good luck honey.”

“You too dear.”

 

“I’ll start dear. I place 3 cards face down and activate the spell card Diane Keto the Cure

 

Master (5000/4000). And with that I end my turn.”

 

“No monsters aye. Well I have plenty, my move. I summon Luster Dragon #1 in attack mode

 

only to attack you directly (1900/1600).”

 

“I play Enchanted Javelin, which gives me lifepoints equal to the attack of your dragon. Then

 

I play Raigeki Break; by discarding one card I can destroy your dragon.”

 

“I end my turn with one card face down.”

 

“I pass!”

 

“I summon Armed Dragon Level 3 in attack mode only to end my turn (1200/900).”

 

“I activate another Diane Keto and that’s it (6000/4000).”

 

“I summon my Lord of Dragons in attack mode (1200/1100). Now I upgrade my Level 3 Armed

 

Dragon to a level 5 Armed Dragon (2400/1700). Now I reveal Call of the Haunted. Revive my

 

Level 3 Armed Dragon. Then I sacrifice him for my Luster Dragon #2. Then I activate the Flute

 

of summoning Dragon. Which means that I summon two Blue Eyes White Dragons (2400/1400)

 

& (3000/2500)*2. Now double white lightning attack NOW (0/4000). Sorry honey but I win….

 

Looks like I wont be seeing you in the finals.” “And the winner is Mrs. Janet Ryan. She will be

 

moving on to face the other competitors. They are Dylan Ryan, Brian Erhardt, Aaron Beling,

 

and now Janet Ryan. Tomorrow they will face off for the title of the States greatest duelist.

 

Then they will compete for the title of the world’s greatest duelist. Stay tuned.

those are pretty good but might i recommend putting said or boomed or yelled etc. a character to note who's talking and making it a bit longer also adding a plot not just duels other then that perfect story 9/10

Chapter 6

“Welcome to the 2nd day for the crowning of the state champion. The matches have been

 

determined. The first match is Dylan versus Brian while Aaron faces Janet. Let’s join Roland on the platform as they begin the duel.”

 

“I’ll go first Dylan. And I activate the spell card Graceful Charity which means I get to draw

 

three cards and discard two afterwards. Now I play two cards facedown and end my turn.”

 

“My turn now. I play the spell card Polymerization fusing together the Elemental Heroes

 

Sparkman & Clayman forming the elemental Hero Thunder Giant followed by a direct attack

 

(2400/1500).”

 

“I activate the trap card Magic Cylinder. This redirects your attack back at you in the form of

 

a direct attack (4000/1600).

 

“I end my turn.”

 

 

“Good, so now I can end this duel. And it’s gonna be thanks to you Dylan.”

 

“Lies, allies replied Dylan with a blank, but curious look in his eyes.”

 

“I’m afraid not. I activate the spell card Snatch Steal. Due to the effects of this card, I can

 

now take control of one enemy monster as long as I give you 1000 lifepoints every standby

 

phase. But there won’t be any more stand-by phases because I attack with voltage thunder (4000/0).”

 

“The winner of the duel and the duelist that is heading for the finals is Mr. Brian Erhardt. Ah,

 

as we look at the monitor, it appears that our second duelist as emerged to the final stage as

 

well. Let’s see who that is from Mr. Seto Kaiba himself. The winner of the second semi-final

 

match and Brian’s opponent will be nun other than Janet Ryan. Who will win in this clash of

 

the titans? Let’s find out?

Chapter 7

“It looks like the duelists are ready. Who shall be the victor? The Dragon Force Janet, or the mysterious Brian? Let’s find out now BEGIN!”

 

“Allow me to make the first move Janet. I summon a Marauding Captain in attack mode

 

(1200/400), and due to his special effect, I can now summon another one from my hand. To

 

end my turn I play two facedown cards and activate Two Mage Powers; these give each of

 

my captains 50 points for each spell and trap card I have on the field (3200). Your move.”

 

“I can only place one card face down to end my turn.”

 

“Go, double direct attack.”

 

“Reveal facedown card. Its Enchanted Javelin. I gain your cards attack only to lose it. Now I

 

lose 3200. Basically my trap negated your first attack (4000/800).”

 

“I end my turn.”

 

“Good because I finally drew the card I needed. I summon Kaibaman in attack mode (200/700)

 

only to sacrifice him to special summon one Blue Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500). Now I equip

 

him with Dragon Treasure, giving him 300 extra attack points. Now I activate the rest of my

 

cards, Dragon’s Gunfire X3. Now you lose 2400 lifepoints (1600/800). Attack with White

Lightning.”

 

“Not so fast, you didn’t think I would let you get away with attacking me did you. Since I had

 

2 Marauding Captains in play he had to be the target and since you can’t hit both of them you

 

can’t attack at all. My turn seeing as how you can’t do anything. Well will you looky here, I

 

activate Mage Power. Only to raise my captain by another 2000 points (5200). Now finish her

 

off with Loyal Slash (1600/0).” And the winner of the title Best Duelist in New York is Brian

 

Erhardt.” “Wow, I’ve never had any duelist come to as far as you did to defeating me. I

 

consider you one of my toughest rivals. Until next time.” “Wait just a second Brian. I have a

 

announcement for the rest of the players. They all get to enter the tournament with the

 

advantage. So it looks as though you only won the title.” “Good because there was no way I

 

could only choose two of these people to get the advantage. I trust that you will be

 

participating in this tournament of yours Seto?” “But of course. I guess I shall see you in my

 

new tournament in one week. Oh before I forget. UHHHH, here.” “Wow, what is this?” “What I

 

threw you is what you will need for my tournament. Inside is a locater card that will tell you

 

all the info about the tournament, especially about that duel disk as well. See ya around, and

 

Congratulations!”

 

Chapter 8

After the tournament me and my friends all met up at the nearest McDonalds to get

 

something to eat. We hadn’t had anything to eat that entire day. Janet was the last to

 

arrive. When everyone was there everyone was crowding around us asking us for our

 

autographs. I never realized that people could get so obsessed with a simple card game. After

 

we were done eating we decided to head to the park for practice duels before the big

 

tournament next week. “Hey you!” I heard it coming out of nowhere. “Can I help you?” “That

 

all depends… if you are willing to risk your title to me in one duel, if you win you get my

 

locater card for the tournament.” “Very well. Just get ready to lose.” I took the dueldisk outta

 

the box and strapped it onto my arm turning it on by inserting my deck in. “I’ll go first. I

 

activate Meteor of Destruction which deals 1000 points of direct damage (4000/3000). Now I

 

summon one of my favorite monsters, the mighty Chthonian Soldier in attack mode

 

(1200/1400). I play 1 face down to end my turn. Top that!” “No problem, I activate the card

 

known as Polymerization which lets me fuse my Dark Magician and my Buster Blader to create

 

Dark Paladin (2900/2600). I attack with soaring magic (2300/1300). Why did my lifepoints drop

 

as well?” “I guess you haven’t been watching my duels, Chthonian Soldier when destroyed in

 

battle, deals the same amount of battle damage that was dealt to me back at you.” “I end my

 

turn.” “Time to wrap this up, I summon another soldier (1200/1400) only to attack you again

 

wiping out the remainder of your lifepoints (600/0). Fork over the locater card and get

 

lost.” “Grrrr, fine here you are.” “Brian said Janet, how could you do that to that kid?” “What?

 

He asked for it” “That still doesn’t give you any right. You’re supposed to be their role model.”

 

Ring, ring, ring. “Whoops that would be my cell phone I had told everyone. Hello?” When I had

 

got off the phone I had a depressed look on my face. “What’s the matter Brian, who was that

 

asked Kevin?” “I don’t know who it was, but they have kidnapped our families, and the only

 

way to get them back was to defeat them in a duel.” “So there’s more than one?” “I guess,

 

but I don’t really know. I guess the only way to find out is to show up for the duels.” “ Did

 

they say where the duelists were or where our families are asked Amanda?” “In a way. They

 

said that they would be spread all throughout Battle City. You would know that they were

 

then by what they were wearing. He said that they would be wearing black capes with a gold

 

eye insignia. He said that one of them had an Egyptian God Card, whatever that is, and the

 

only way to get our family back was to defeat the five duelists. He even said that one of the

 

duels was a double duel. I guess we are just going to have to wait and see for what’s next.”

 

There was utter silence for a few moments until I spoke up. “Well I think the first move should

 

be to go down to the card shop to boost our decks with super rare cards so that we have a

 

better shot at beating these guys, whoever they are. And then from there I guess we wait for

 

the tournament.” After I had gotten home from the card shop I started organizing my deck

 

with a whole bunch of new cards that I had gotten. I worked on my deck for the rest of the

 

week until Friday night when I woke up from a reoccurring nightmare that had been happening

 

ever since the day my family was taken from me. Since nobody was going to be home at

 

anyone’s house we decided to stay at Janet, Kevin, Frank, and Dylan’s house for the time

 

being. Once the tournament was over and we had our families back, we would continue on

 

even though nothing would be the same again. It was 9:00 when we had decided to wake up

 

and prepare one last time for the tournament. When we opened the door to leave there was a note in the door.

it starts out pretty good and seems to get much better. if later chapters are longer like this latest one, them i'm sure this fic will be great. keep it coming. it is getting very interesting.
