Miazo
I was bored. Messed around with c4d's and got this. I know its bad, but feel free to edit it in anyway, shape or form.
iKiller
No. You put a stock/render of Kanye there, splotched him with C4D's, used a few effects, and thats it. Sorry, phailz.
Miazo
No. You put a stock/render of Kanye there' date=' splotched him with C4D's, used a few effects, and thats it. Sorry, phailz.[/quote'] Exactly what I said in my post. I just messed around with c4d and render. Messed with Opacity.
Prada
Don't post stuff like this in teh showcase. Experiments don't belong here.
Kizzi
Go read a beginner tut from guilinn or something, because you don't really seem to know how to make a quarter-decent banner. Oh, and stop using C4Ds <_
Yogg-Saron
Don't make the render's opacity lower than the C4Ds themselves. Look at tuts, now.

Tkill93
"go reed tutz plz" Isn't exactly the best advice, considering it's coming from everyone in this thread. What you should work on is depth and flow, so it doesn't look like you just made a background and slapped an image on.
Miazo
Best advice I've gotten all day.
Careless Whisper
Alright, I see that you like to use C4Ds Here's tips... ---Don't use only C4Ds... don't do stock sigs untl you learn how... Instead..visit planetrenders and register into the render galleries there and select a render.. Then, prevent yourself fom using any C4Ds, so you'll have to use brushes and filters. Lazer Yoshi
Crap Artist :lol:It's OK, but it has no real, something, to it. The colors could be be better too. You'll get better though ^_^Follow the tips from the above users.
Chaotix®
I ditto what Tkill93 said, but have some more advice to add to that. The C4D's are supposed to add dynamics to the sig... It looks like all you have done is change their opacity. Try setting the c4d layers to a variety of different blending modes, such as overlay, linear dodge, and sometimes color dodge. I also noticed that the sig looks over-blurred. After you have finished applying your effects and c4ds, go to Image > Apply Image, and then apply a sharpen filter (Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen). Erase any parts on the applied layer that you do not want sharpened. Lastly, why do you always put the tiny white text in the lower left corner? It could be effective on a tech sig, but here, it looks irrelevant. Before using C4Ds, expand your knowledge on the usage of brushes. I recommend looking up some Stock Sig tuts on deviantART, because Stock Sigs are arguably the easiest to make.
Madsen
OK, if you see all people that are better than than tell to not use C4D's, why do you keep doing it?You see, C4D's are more to bring in more flow into a sig, but you must have the normal flow & depth, not just a render and a C4D.I am too bad at sigs, but I can you tell this:Read tuts ;) I prefer to google sig tut and open the google images ;)
