Master52394
Let me know what you think and if you like it I will post the second part!! “Hyper Beam Dragonite!” Aaron, Kevin, and I had all shouted the exactsame attack command for our three waybattle at the same time. The three released blasts collided, annihilating the energy of all threebattling Pokémon, and ending the round without a winner. As we sat in the arena’s center, we wondered what we could do to improveour Pokémon’s chances of winning. Since they were fully evolved, there wasno way their attacks could get any stronger. Our only option was to examineour tactics. I, Brian, am a 14 year old Pokémon trainer. My two friends are Aaron, who is18 years old, and Kevin, who is 15. Together, we are the three top Pokémontrainers of the Florida Region. ~~~ Here, trainers try to defeat all eight of the Frontier Brains in order to gettheir symbol. If they succeed, they’re given the location of the next BattleFacility. If a trainer manages to defeat all eight battle facilities they’reallowed the option of becoming the Ninth Frontier Brain, and so on. So far, nobody has been able to completely defeat the entire Battle Frontier. Like the others, Brian is here to see if he can become the one who does, andclaim the place as the Ninth Brain. Everyone in the region has heard of theBattle Frontier, the only problem was winning. As Brian, Kevin, and Aaron walked out of the Pokemon Center they looked atthe map to see which facility was closest to where they were. As it turnedout, the first location happened to be in the town that they were in,Inverness, Florida. The three got on their bikes and traveled until they almost ran over aPokémon in the middle of the road. It was a fire type Pokémon, known as Arcanine. The owner of the Pokémonjumped out from the trees that were along the side of the road. He was noolder than 10. “Stay away from my Arcy!” he shouted defensively. Brian and Aaron were both astonished, but not Kevin. “How are youdoing--little brother?” Kevin asked the younger boy. Brian and Aaron froze and stared in shock. This was Kevin’s little brother? “Not too shabby Kevo,” the young boy answered with a casual shrug. “Ishoulda known it was you trying to take Arcy away from me,” he added with anindignant growl. Kevin smiled gently. “Relax, Dylan. We just saw him lying on the side ofthe road.” “Yeah,” Dylan replied glumly. “We were training, and then we hot tiredand so we stepped off to the side of the road.” He looked up at Kevin.“So, what brings you back home, big brother?” “Well, my friend, Brian here, wishes to challenge the Battle Temple.”Kevin said as he looked in Brian’s direction. “Oh he does, does he?” Dylan asked excitedly. “Well, I could take youthere right now!” “That would be awesome!” Brian exclaimed with mirrored exitement. “We’ll take the limo there. Put your bikes into the trunk.” Dylan toldthem eagerly. Once they arrive, Brian was astonished. “Wow, look at this place!” “Yeah, it’s something isn’t it?” Dylan agreed. “I’ll be rightback to see if the Frontier Brain is in for the day.” Five minutes later,Dylan came out with an announcement. “Yeah, and he’s very interested inbattling you.” Once they got inside, nobody was around. Brian asked, “Where is he?” and looked at Dylan, thinking that he mightbe playing a trick on them. “You’re looking at him,” Dylan replied. “I am the Temple Monk.” “But you’re just a kid,” Aaron said in disbelief.
