Hard Mode keeps you at a constant Level 1, dude. Therein lies the challenge. Shanoa basically had to defeat every boss without taking a single hit to survive, which she did. (If you've seen the videos that she posted on Drift, you can see how exactly she did it - except that those videos were shot on Normal Mode, not Hard Mode)

Castlevania + Dynasty Warriors = Odd combination

Indeed' date=' However, there needs to be a Castlevania RPG game.

Well, most of the newer Castlevania games have RPG elements in them anyway (SotN, DoS, PoR, OoE, etc...).

However, having a STRAIGHT Castlevania RPG wouldn't be a bad idea. If Konami wanted to do it right, then they should do what Nintendo did with Super Mario RPG and Capcom did with the original Breath of Fire (both for SNES) and team up with Square-Enix. (Highly unlikely, though)

Konami needs to pair up with people, Now then, if we ever had such a Castlevania RPG, I'm guessing you would be a Belmont.

Maybe they'll do what they did with Judgment and use a time rift to allow you to have characters from different eras join forces. That'd make for an awesome RPG.

Indeed, they need to make a MMORPG for the Castlevania series.
