Some cards usable in a control deck
Cybatriel, Vindicator of Fate

1700/400

Level 4

LIGHT Attribute

Winged-Beast/Effect

When anything happens outside of the Draw Phase, except the act of changing phases, you can toss a coin. If the result is Heads, negate what just happened. If Tails, do not negate what just happened. (Anything resulting from an activation of an effect is treated as being that effect activation. Anything resulting from the declaration of an attack is treated as that declaration of attack.)
Confusing, isn't it? Here's how you can understand the card.

By "anything" I mean anything. From a Normal Summon to the activation of a Trap Card, to an attack declared by your opponent, to the activation of a Stardust Dragon's effect. This does not include

"Anything resulting from an activation of that effect is treated as that effect activation." Say your opponent has DAD and you have Cybatriel of the field. DAD's effect is activated, and you activate Cybatriel's effect. If you get Tails, this clause prevents you from attempting to negate the destruction of a card by DAD's effect, because the effect "destroy 1 card" is treated, in Cybatriel's effect, as the activation of DAD's effect. Since Cybatriel didn't negate the effect's activation, it cannot prevent the destruction of a card.

"Anything resulting from the declaration of an attack is treated as that declaration of attack." If your opponent's DAD attacks, and Cybatriel attempts to negate the attack but fails, Cybatriel cannot negate things that result directly from that attack, such as a destruction of a monster as a result of battle.

And that's all I think I need to cover.

Demoncrat

1500/900

Level 4

DARK Attribute

Fiend/Effect

When this card is sent to the Graveyard from the field, you can Set up to 3 Continuous Spell Cards from your Deck. If the previous effect was activated during your opponent's turn, you can activate cards Set by this card's effect during the turn they are Set.

(Can you figure out what this card's purpose is? It involves Cybatriel.)

Starly

1200/500

Level 3

WIND Attribute

Winged-Beast/Effect

When this card is flipped face-up or destroyed, select 1 card on the field and send it back to its owner's hand.

the end of the world is at 5 billion years

Palkia

2800/2600

Level 9

WATER Attribute

Dragon/Effect

When this card attacks, you may add 1 Field Spell from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, you can remove from play 2 WATER monsters or 1 Field Spell from your Graveyard to select 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field and send it, along with all cards which affect it other than this card, to the top of your opponent's Deck in any order.

Cyber Virus

1600/950

Level 4

WATER Attribute

Metal/Effect

When this card is Summoned or destroyed, select 1 of these effects:

 • Destroy all "Cyber" monsters on the field, except "Cyber Virus".
 • Send all "Cyber" monsters in both player's Decks to the Graveyard, except "Cyber Virus".
 • Send all "Cyber" monsters in both player's hands to the Graveyard, except "Cyber Virus".

(This card was a card I made around 2-3 years ago. It's quite old.)

Cyber Plaguespreader

1000/950

Level 3

WATER Attribute

Zombie/Tuner

This card is not affected by the effect of "Cyber" monsters. Increase this card's ATK by 1200 when it battles a "Cyber" monster, except "Cyber Virus" and "Cyber Plaguespreader". When this card is sent to the Graveyard, add 1 "Cyber Virus" from your Deck to your hand.

Mark of Cyber Destruction

Continuous Trap

As long as this cad is on the field, all cards on the field, except this card, are treated as "Cyber" monsters. Once per turn, you may look at your opponent's Deck and select 2 monsters. Those monsters are treated as "Cyber" monsters as long as they are in the Deck.
Shadow Tank Whale

1550/900

Level 4

WATER/DARK Attribute

Fish/Effect

When this card is destroyed as a result of battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can select 1 monster in your Deck with 1700, 1550 or less than 1550 ATK and 900, 400, or less than 400 DEF and Special Summon it.

Shadow Seas - Palkia's Flood

Field Spell

When this card is added to your hand, draw 1 card. Once per turn, you can roll a die. If the result is 4, 5, or 6, then negate the effect of 1 card on the field as long as this card is on the field. If the result is 1, 2, or 3, destroy this card. You can discard this card from your Deck and discard 2 cards from your hand to Special Summon 1 "Palkia" from your hand or 1 monster from your Deck with 1700, 1550 or less than 1550 ATK and 900, 400, or less than 400 DEF and Special Summon it. When this card is removed from play, select 2 WATER monsters you own that are removed from play and add them and this card to your hand.

Advent

Quick-Play Spell

Activate only when you Normal or Special Summon a Level 8 or higher monster. Draw 2 cards.

Flood Draw

Normal Spell

Discard 3 cards from your hand, remove from play 2 cards from your hand, or remove from play 1 WATER monster from your hand. Draw 2 cards. If either player has more than 3 cards in their hand after the previous effect resolves, each player discards cards from their hand until they only have 3 cards in their hand.

Trans Palkia

Normal Spell

Add 1 "Palkia" from your Deck to your hand. You can discard 1 card from your hand to add this card from your Deck to your hand.
Re-Coin Toss

Continuous Spell

After a coin has been flipped as a result of a card's effect, you can negate the previous coin flip and do another one to re-decide the result. This card's effect can be applied to a coin flip redone by another "Re-Coin Toss."

(Second Coin Toss doesn't stack. This does.)

Phantom Eye Starly

1500/1000

Level 3

WIND Attribute

Winged Beast/Dark Tuner

When this card is Summoned, flipped face-up, or sent to the Graveyard, you can play 800 Life Points to select 1 card on the field and send it back to its owner's hand. You can pay 1500 Life Points and Tribute this card to Special Summon 1 "Pantom Eye Staravia" from your Extra Deck.

Phantom Eye Staravia

1 Tuner monster + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

Once per turn, you can discard all cards form your hand while there are at least 3 cards in your hand to Set this card in face-down Defense Position. Once per turn, you can send 2 cards on the field to their opponent's hand. If you do, you cannot conduct your Normal Summon or Set this turn.

I can't figure out Demoncrat's purpose.

What continuous trap involves coins?

Also' date=' Cybatriel seems to be overpowered. Can you say "Exodia"?

[b']No. I can say continuous 1/2 chance Solemn Judgment.

Also, is Cyber Virus supposed to be a Machine?, cause you wrote metal.

A type I made up.

Cybatriel: ... and I've been creating LADD-esque cards for eons. You win.

Demoncrat: I miss the hint. Otherwise, stupendously broken.

Starly: Replaces Hyper Hammerhead in Degenerate Circuit decks. Otherwise, pretty lame.

Palkia: "... along with all cards which affect it other than this card... " Don't understand it. Please explain.

Virus: Ignobly horrible on itself, and we continue from there.

Cyber Plaguespreader: No, I don't understand the name (computers don't get diseases, do they?). On its own, you could snatch up for better Tuners - including its namesake.

Mark: Needs better name - but it makes all the difference in the world between the above two cards being stinkbombs and Virus and Plaguespreader being jawbreakers at the right moment.

Are you subtly saying it's broken? /:/

Demoncrat: I miss the hint. Otherwise' date=' stupendously broken.

[b']What Continuous Traps make it broken? Anyways, see the above Deck's Trap Card list.

Palkia uses that effect on an opponent's Des Frog. Des Frog is equipped with 3 Axes of Despairs. They also have 3 Star Boys on their side of the field and Umiiruka. Since the Axes, Star Boys, and Umiiruka affect Des Frog (by increasing its ATK) they all get sent to the top of the deck along with Des Frog. In any order Palkia's controller wants.

Virus: Ignobly horrible on itself, and we continue from there.

Why is that? :/

Cyber Plaguespreader: No, I don't understand the name (computers don't get diseases, do they?).

Well, kind of. Heard of computer viruses?

On its own, you could snatch up for better Tuners - including its namesake.

Meh.

Mark: Needs better name -

True dat.

but it makes all the difference in the world between the above two cards being stinkbombs and Virus and Plaguespreader being jawbreakers at the right moment.

Are you subtly saying it's broken? /:/

No. It's a fine card as the day is long, Blitzer. Its effect's just similar to LADD's, that's all.

What Continuous Traps make it broken?

It's too versatile.

+ gasps +

On itself, it's horrible; with the theme...

Well, kind of. Heard of computer viruses?

Well, all I ask is a more suitable name.

well, for starters,i believe second coin toss was the trap

secondly,i believe second coin toss's effect does NOT stack,i read the rulings and i think it says that.

i also think cybertrial makes an infinite loop of flips, you activate the effect for the coin toss so toss to see whether it's negated or not.

i also think starly gets flipped and destroyed when attacked while facedown so i think 2 gets returned >.>

Palkia is good if the earthbound god was a real card.

cyber virus seems to be against decks with cyber dragon but nobody really uses anymore.

cyber plagues spreader seems like the zombie one >.>

mask compliments above 2 cards

shadow tank is good for Yubel and other low attack, good effect monsters.

shadow sea will most likely be used in non-Palkia deck simply because it imitates a pot of greed in a way:

1.draw this card

2.draw another card

advent is kinda meh

highly highly situational, but with 2 soul absorptions on field, you just gained 6000LP

but too hard to use.

i kinda like trans palkia because it speeds things up in a way

these cards seem to work in some way though, good job,9/10

re-coin toss is better than second coin toss in 3 conditions:

it can be activated on your turn without setting

it cannot be negated by jinzo, royal decree, etc.

it can stack

i don't enjoy custom cards that are much better than existing cards.

i under stand it's used for demoncat but you shouldn't do that

why is it a dark tuner?as a level 3,unless they make a level -1 or -2 dark synchro,this is useless >.>

synchro and tuner????

that doesn't seem right.

on the other hand..this card sucks unless you use book of moon on it or somehow flip it down because this can only be special summoned.

now i see why you included starly as a level 3 dark tuner but seriously, you are ruining the point of it being a dark synchro, they are meant to have a negative level >.>

like the card above,it's only a beatstick if you can't flip it down.

More than one Attribute is incorrect OCG.

More than one Property is incorrect OCG.

Fix that.

What Offical card grammar?

Also' date=' I'm nonconformist.

[/quote']

OCG as in proper markup, similar to paragraphing.

And you're a bad nonconformist too.

Proof?

The above cards are proof. Good nonconformists don't make up new OCG when it suits them.
