Jesus
IMO, Stardust. Thoughtruler isn't going to stop your opponent's Dark Armed Dragon.
werewolfjedi
I would go with stardust, it can protect any monster, while ruler can only protect psy.
Mr. Judgment Dragon
Definately Stardust although Thought Ruler isnt bad or anything. Thought Ruler can stop stuff that stops other Synchros like Compulsory Evacuation Device and PWWB and Stardust deals any destruction card.

Jesus
Thoughtruler isn't going to stop your opponent's Dark Armed Dragon.Because Dark Armed wont target Thought Ruler? Did I miss the memo of where Konami changed Dark Armed Dragon to a Spell/Trap OR Made it a Pyschic-Type monster?
CrabHelmet
Thoughtruler isn't going to stop your opponent's Dark Armed Dragon. Because Dark Armed wont target Thought Ruler? Dark Armed Dragon has 2800 ATK. Thought Ruler Archfiend has 2700 ATK. Do the math. Unlike Stardust Dragon, Thought Ruler Archfiend will generally only be able to protect itself, making it the only card to survive DAD's field-wipe - and then it dies in the Battle Phase. You can pay 1000 Life Points to negate the activation of a Spell or Trap Card that targets 1 Psychic-Type monster, and destroy it. Doesn't even survive the field nuke. armageddon08
Stardust is more versatile, and yet Thought Ruler is awesomely good after you payed half of your LP for Solemn. And he can also run over Stardust and gain you 2500 LP, so I would hardly consider Thought Ruler to be worse than Stardust. It just depends on the situation. GenzoTheHarpist
With people running PWWB more and more, TRA is getting to be a better and better option.
Lemniscate
I would say run them both, it really just depends on the situation.
Tekken Ham
SDD is better in anything short of a Macro deck.
Flame Dragon
SDD hands down. TRA can normally only protect himself, SDD on the other hands protects your whole field. One of the few things that TRAcan do that SDD can't is stop cards like Compulsory and PWWB.
Skuldur
Stardust is better, it can stop DAD and JD and all those destruction cards.
Lazer Yoshi
SDD.However, TRA is still Pretty Good :D
Chiz
I'd tap Thought Ruler Archfiend. I'd say Stardust Dragon is better over all, I'm allowed the negation and destruction of cards that ail me, but that usually backfires somehow for me, considering they use cards to get it out of my graveyard and onto their field. Though, whenever they use his effect, thanks for a free Stardust. <3 (Unless, I've been using his effect wrong when my opponent negates a card.) Although, Thought Ruler has helped me gain life points vastly. Vastly, I say to you.
Guest PikaPerson01
I can never seem to read plays right. <_< When I go for Stardust, my opponent has PWWB and Compulsory. When I go for Thought Ruler, they have Mirror Force and Torrential.
