You got the job. I'll finish the new exam and pm it to you along with a guide how to evaluate it. After I've changed the Application thread around, I'll move it to general, where you will be in charge of it. Or, if you prefer, you can make a new thread in general so that you can edit the original post when necesary.

 

As God Kaze told me, I can join as a Senior Member and merge The Octavius Academy with CMA. Well, here I am. ^^

As he said, he is now a senior member and is in charge of the "Ocativian Card Making Thread". It's the thread we have that's the closest to an actual "Academy". You go there to imporove your card making skills.

 

How do you become a Senior member any way?

A senior member is anyone who is apart of CMA that:

1) Is a mod

2) Runs an Academy thread.

3) Was a Club Director

4) Contributes GREATLY to the Academy

Any one of those things.

Is there a way I can get a Senior Member to? Is there an Academy thread that needs to be open?

There can be a thread you run. Currently' date=' we are only present in:

Card Contest

Shops / Requests[/b]

We need to expand Academy awareness, so if you have an idea for a thread, please post it and see what everyone thinks. If it's a good idea, you'll be in charge of it and become a senior member.

 

Well, I do contribute greatly to the CMA........well, I did

It's just that I can't be on to much anymore with the school and all (plus, I'm in the 9th grade)

Yeah, you've been with the Academy from the start and you were what kept the review thread alive. *poof* you're a senior member.

P.S. I'm in 12th grade :P

I'm sorry,I'll choose the effects and such of the card shortly. Also, I can do whatever is open.I believe I have a copy of the exam and the answer key also from DW.Just PM me with some of the open jobs,I'm not picky.

Well the application thread doesn't really have anything to do with realistic cards and it's the most popular topic. Members post there and you pm themt he exam. I'll pm you the new exam later this evening. A bit of it is going to be taken from the "prep-exam" I had back when the Academy started. The old exam is too long.

We could also have a "Cards Hall of Fame" thread where we find card we think are good and put them in (A bit like Card of the Week but all academy members could participate and the card selection would be wider).

FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO HELPL MORE WITH THE ACADEMY, HERE IS WHAT IS NEEDED:

1) A new member to make the Academy banners. The person who does this job will have to have AMAZINGLY good graphic skills. Enoug so to replicate the banner I have in my sig.

2) Stevenbray will now be in charge of the entrance exam. If he wants, there can be 1 more person helping him.

3) An Academy thread in sections other than "Realistic Cards", "Card Contests", and "Shops / Requests". We need to expand Academy Awareness.

 

How about an academy thread called "The CMA Puclic Rate thread" or something where people not in the academy post cards and academy members comment, rate and the such. We could also have a "Cards Hall of Fame" thread where we find card we think are good and put them in (A bit like Card of the Week but all academy members could participate and the card selection would be wider).

Idea 1(CMA Public Rate): Didn't Deity Mitsu already submit the same idea? Anyway, it matters what the rest of the academy thinks. Good idea or bad idea? Just remember, who ever is in charge of that thread must make to sure to rate/review every entry.

Idea 2(Hall of Fame): Again, if everyone likes the idea, make it. This reminds me, I've been putting off updating the COTW.

I have vegas so I could make it' date=' I was thinking of taking the beggining of that YGO GX opening where all the cards turn over and zoom out to make a collage of Winged Kuriboh, but replacing the cards with custom ones the members made. That would require a huge amount of time to edit though.

I'll help gyrus.As GK said,I had an idea like this,but nobody really responded to it...But anyways,as long as the idea is cool with everyone else,I'll make the threads and me and you(gyrus)can both review/rate the cards and the whole of CMA will choose which cards enter the hall of fame.Cool?
