ShadowKyogre
Refer to this when looking at the cards Armoitettu plays: Warning, Bloody Pics! Noah: (is pointing finger @ Kaiba and about to say he wants to challenge him to a duel) Armoitettu: Are you afraid that you can't win against other people with your outdated, rule-breaking ways? Noah: I don't break the rules! Besides, I'm settling the score between me and Kaiba. Armoitettu: Well then, you can have your little duel once I'm through with you. Noah: Okay. Pick your Deck Master and get ready to lose! (selects Shinato's Ark and shuffles deck) Armoitettu: I'll pick Masochistic Bloodbender. (takes card out of his deck, shuffles) Since I'm going first, I'm going to Summon Masochistic Fiend (0 ATK/ 0 DEF) and Set one card face-down. Go. Noah: It was foolish of you to Summon such a weak monster! Armoitettu: Oh really? Noah: Really! I summon Chiron the Mage in Attack position! (1800 ATK/ 1000 DEF) I then use its effect to destroy your face-down! Armoitettu: Why thank you! Noah: Huh? Anyway, Chiron, attack Masochistic Fiend (Armoitettu's LP: 2200). Armoitettu: Thanks to your centaur, Masochistic Fiend inflicts 1000 damage to me! (LP: 1200) Noah: Doesn't that mean you're going to lose quite soon? Armoitettu: (with a smirk) I'm very aware of that. It'll only brings me closer to winning. Do you end your turn? Noah: Yes. (Hand: 5, Field: 1, LP:4000) Armoitettu: (draws a card) I activate my Deck Master's ability, allowing me to pay 1000 LP to send 1 card from my Deck to my Graveyard (LP: 200). Noah: You're crazy! Armoitettu: I know. Now, Masochistic Fiend, attack for the win! Noah: You're going to lose! Armoitettu: Not so. Remember the face-down you destroyed? Noah: Yes. Armoitettu: That face-down was my winning card: Masochistic Fate. It switched the winning conditions for the duel, meaning that the first player to hit 0 Life Points is declared the winner. In that case, it'll be me. (LP: 0) Kaiba: (in his head) That card punishes good players... Everything resumes as normal afterward.________________________Yes, I probably forgot something. Did I hand an Idiot Ball to anyone? And I suppose that Armoitettu did break the rules by Masochistic Fate.
CrabHelmet
There was no chance to hand anyone an Idiot Ball; the duel was too short and too stacked in Armoitettu's favour. Of course, it would help if you told us what other cards were in their hands, as one of them might have been relevant.
ShadowKyogre
Oh. I'm going to have to keep that in mind when doing things like this. It's easier to do these things if you have an actual deck to shuffle and pretend duel with (in this case, it's impossible since I didn't have the proxy labels). I also did something similar over in another thread I poofed, but at least I actually had a deck to shuffle so that way I don't get tempted to go: Worst Case Scenario! ragnarok1945
Nice touch for a deja vu of Noah's opening move with Kaiba: Chiron the Mage. Keep this up
