ragnarok1945
technically yes she did. She played MST very early in the duel
ShadowKyogre
I really think I need to rewatch the duel again...
ragnarok1945
oh yo can find that everywhere on youtube now. Even there too many made up cards were used
ShadowKyogre
Yup. =.= And the Seal of Orichalcos is real, but only UDE employees have it.
ragnarok1945
I didn't know that was a real card in TCG. Where did it say that? I thought it was anime only, and it's also broken for characters
ShadowKyogre
On the Wikia...the employees dueled with it during a special event, and I missed it.
ragnarok1945
what anime special event?
ShadowKyogre
No, real life special event. I feel so sad that I didn't get to test whether my deck could pummel a deck w/Orichalcos fairly.
ragnarok1945
Well if the 3 layers of the seal are real cards that'd pwn too greatly. And I'm sure the characters would be WAY too cheap
ShadowKyogre
Defiinitely. At least only Dartz had them.
ragnarok1945
Well Dartz didn't want to share the other two layers because he didn't want to give up the power, something shared by all characters, even the good
ShadowKyogre
And it isn't a surprise. Contrasting to not letting go of the power is the fact that Ash Ketchum keeps "throwing away" his good Pokemon. Why Ash, why?! XP
ragnarok1945
even Atem is no exception, he just hides it well
ShadowKyogre
He took the God cards w/him!! Wait...what about Yugi? He gave Joey his Time Wizard.
ragnarok1945
yeah but that was more like "it had to happen to fit the show" gift, not out of kindness Even when joey gave him his Red Eyes for BC it was part of the "it had to happen to fit the show" rule
ShadowKyogre
Igh. The "it happened to fit the show" rule dries up certain parts of it.
ragnarok1945
any particular examples you want list?
ShadowKyogre
So far I haven't meditated over it. Imagine if Kaiba ran a Virus Plushie deck. Imagine the horror.... O.O
ragnarok1945
yeah well the real crush card Kaiba kept using shouldn't have won him so many duels because the effect is not really that powerful.
ShadowKyogre
Plus it only lasts for 3 turns. Most of my winning monsters in my main deck have less than 1500 ATK and my Prime Material Dragon completely negates it.
ragnarok1945
and even if you have a deck where every single monster has more than 1500 atk, it's still not enough to be a fatal blow. Not to mention his Final Attack Orders trap: the real one only forces every monster to remain in attack position as long as it's face up. Kaiba cheated in BC because his version also forced you to choose 3 cards from you deck to form a new one, all the others must be discarded. ShadowKyogre
...I don't recall that moment, but that's just plain cheap. Not to mention that ramming 1500+ ATK monsters won't do much against 1500+ DEF monsters.
ragnarok1945
yeah, they didn't factor in special effects much
Freeman The Master
i am just asking i do remember DM a lot and even the others a little it seems to me that even though the show bended the rules i think it got less and less. but i stopped watching at mid point of GX so i really don't know about 5D and its new cards or after the second session of GX. ragnarok1945
sometimes bending the rules does make things better, but for the most part it's merely to fit the show/characters
