JG.
I HATE MY GIMP!!!!!!!!! Antway, to the topic. I have just downloaded GIMP 2.6.2. Remember that number. Before i had GIMP 2.6.1. Remember that aswell. On GIMP 2.6.1 i could render without a problem and save them too. And when i opened then i could still see right thruogh it. On GIMP 2.6.2, my new one, i can render it so before i save it i can see through it but then i save it, as a .jpg, and then when i open it again the parts i could see though are white! Damn it! But anyways here's how i do it on BOTH versions: Layers - Add alpha channelPen tool - click around imagectrl-I (Invert selection)ctrl-X (Cut)Save the image as jpg. That's the way i did on GIMP 2.6.1. I doesn't work on GIMP 2.6.2. It works fine all the way untill save. Then when i open again the rendered parts are white which is BAD! Please help! Link to comment

Cin
JPG will flatten the image as it saves, therefore you have a white background. Renders should be either GIF (lower quality) or PNG. Link to comment
