LiAM
(Card for this topic is below) I had a duel against a friend , he had this card in his graveyard. he had no monsters, i had one attacking monster, it was a direct attack, BUT!, they removed one EARTH monster in their graveyard form play and special summoned this card, making my attack pointless and wasted is it allowed to be special summoned form the GRAVEYARD, or just your hand, and how many times, they repeated this 3 times. i wasnt sure if it was a legal move, as all my Spells and traps got destroyed after i killed it, it seemed to overpowered for a 4 star monster. and i was unsure of the way they used it... could it be used in that way?
K.B. strategist
If this ruling were true you could summon Chaos Emperor Dragon right back after you activated his effect. No.
LiAM
but is this effect correct, it can be summoned form the graveyard any amount of times aslong as you remove an EARTH monster? (the match i had with him resulted in me winning , i pwned his graveyard. (thats why i have 13 wins)

Mr. Judgment Dragon
First of all this card is not a Nomi. It is a Semi-Nomi. A Semi-Nomi cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard using the summoning conditions listed on the card unless the summoning conditions specifically state that it can. If it is discarded to the Graveyard you cannot Special Summon this card from the Graveyard with Monster Reborn or similar cards. If this card was summoned in the correct manner the first time around, you can Special Summon it from the Graveyard like any Normal Monster or Monster with no special summoning conditions listed on the card with Monster Reborn or cards like Monster Reborn but not with the summoning conditions stated on the card. If it said you can Special Summon it from the Graveyard by removing an EARTH monster in your Graveyard from play then you could do so. It must state it otherwise you cannot do so. This card doesnt state so meaning you cant special summon it from the Graveyard with its own effect. This ruling applies to any card with the following text printed on it: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned..... Any card with the following text printed on it cannot be Special Summoned except by the Summoning Conditions listed on the card. You cant revive it with Monster Reborn or similar cards even if you did summon it properly the first time around: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except...... Any card with that text printed on it is called a Nomi. There is a difference.
