SSBB Tournament Character Choice

I need your opinion guys. I'm going to an in-school Brawl Tournament sometime in decemeber, and I main 4 characters. Those characters are:

 

Meta Knight

Sheik

Peach

Samus

 

Now, from what I've heard, most of the people there are going as pit, so I don't want to go as Samus unless I really want to, and I'm really leaning towards Meta Knight for this one.

 

So please, vote, and only vote if you actually know whayt you're talking about.

Peach = No. Unless it's a Stage where many things are Moving, no Peach.

Sheik = Quick Player. Only use if you have Quick Thinking.

Meta Knight = Possibly the Best Choice.

Samus = ALMOST Better than Meta Knight. Samus is more Long Range Fighting, if that is your Type.

I'd say either Meta Knight or Samus. Most likely Meta Knight.

Peach:is what i call worthless.... unless your good with her.

Sheik:like Yoshi said that she is a quick player,but she's weak,and her Up B Button only works well as Zelda,but the Light Arrow PWns teh Enemy

Meta Knight: Worthless unless you like moving close-up,and using the Galexia Darkness doesn't even Help,it can't send the enemy away.

Samus: Probably my choice,long range moves and good close ups too,question is,once you use the Final Smash,she Becomes Worthless.

My Choice is Samus,choose her,and pwn teh enemies!

Peach #4

Bad side:Unless you continuelsly get the smash ball almost no purpose.

Good side: Occasional high damage with smash moves.

 

Sheik #3

Good side:Quick, light arrow destroys all opponents.

Bad side:Like others said need quick thinking.

 

Samus #1

Good side:Long range, good damage with fully charged attacks.

Bad side:Zero suit does little dammage after Zero Laser.

 

Meta Knight #2

Good side:Many recovery attacks.

Bad side:Small so easily KOed.

 

Id go with normal Samus.

I'd just thought I'd point out additional info:

 

The Stage is Final Destination, 5 Stock.

If your opponent kills you 3 times in a row, you get a free smash ball.

Are you playing with Smash Balls on? If so, it's pretty much your choice between MK and Samus.

It not, MK

When a player dies 3 times, without killing your opponent, you get automatic smash ball.

VW, here's my opinion, and i'm the best brawler in my school:

 

Peach: Why the h*** did you even consider it!?

Shiek: My personal favourite of the choices. Good character, good final smash, fast as h***.

Samus: Meh, bad choice in my opinion. dunno why, jus, bad choice.

Metaknight: Good choice for the stage , good at surviving, neat final samsh.

 

Do you ahve to pick out of those? If not, here's my choices for you:

 

Ike: Powerful, has a counter attack, fatal final smash. Bad thing is that he's not that good at surviving.

 

Marth: Instant K.O. final smash, fast and swift attacks, good at surviving.

 

Yoshi: I dunno, i just like him, he's a good fighter.

 

Your best bet would probably be Marth out of my suggestions.

I put the four you said in bold. Guess who I'd say to use.

But to show you why he is better.

Peach: Can't kill. Dies easily.
Samus: Easy to hit. Can't kill. Dies easily. Poor matchups.
Sheik: Can't kill. Dies easily.

MK: Cobos very well. Easy as hell to use well. Good kill moves. Great recovery. Has good match ups against most characters.

While Peach, Sheik, and Samus all have their own pros MK can do every thing can do, but better. MK also has very little cons. The only one that really comes to mind is he is easy to kill, but even that can be hard to do some times.

Also if you are really good with a character and know how to play them well (I play mostly low tier characters) you should continue to play them and work at it with them.
EX is Gimpyfish's Sheik in Brawl and Bowser in Melee. (If you don't know how he is go [url=http://www.youtube.com/user/Gimpyfish62]here[/url].)
Also I've never seen you play so I don't know who you play best with, but seeing how MK is so good, so easy to pick up and play, and does so well against most characters in the game, I say use him.

GTFO Now! When discussing how good a character is FSs should never be brought up even if they are being used.

Thank you Flame Dragon, MK it is.

 

The reason I considered Peach was the fact that I can do 1-80 damage (depending on size of opponent) within a few seconds.

 

The reason I considered Samus is because it was a friendship thing, because me and CoAndMe used to be good friends until.. well, he died.

 

The reason I considered Sheik is because it's sheik.

 

Metaknight is my best character anyway, so I'll probably go with that.

Samus has strong projectiles.

 

I would use her, but I'd use Zelda if she was an option.
