reps are reputation. They are given by other members based on how you conduct yourself on these forums. But i don't know what you may have done.

you spammed,so you basically did something,reps are how people thank you,warn you,or just show everyone else that you did something wrong.you shouldn't tell,ask or force someone to give you a rep as they might end up negging you and decreasing your chance of getting one.

if you feel that the reps given to you are for a bad reason or just spam,please go to the "Rep Complaint Thread" but you should ask that person why it was given and try to settle it and if they refuse then you should go,but be careful,asking a rightfully earned rep will be spammy if you do it many times.
