Felix
It is insanely powerful, but in competitive matches they usually have Sleep Clause on, which prevents multiple sleepz, which I completely agree with otherwise everyone would just start of with a Scarfed Sleeper. Felix
Well it's a common mistake by noobs people to assume thqat anything that doesn't look cool is powerfull. It's also another mistake to think that because you have level 100 legendarys and you've betean the E4 your automatically awesome at Pokemon. Being good takes prediction, good Pokemon, good movestes and team synchronization. The use of Ubers is looked down upon by most people (because they're so broken), that's why they are banned in everythig but Uber battles.
Star Child
wat is an ''uber" anyway?
Felix
Uber refers to insanely powerfull Pokemon that make the Meta overly focused on them and are therefor broken. Most are legendarys but there's also Garchomp and Wobbuffet, also some legendarys are not Uber, for example the dogs/cats, birds, Emotion Pokemon, Regis, Celebii, Cress, Shaymin, Heatran and Jirachi are not considerd Uber. Golden Chaos
It's a Pokemon (mostly Legends and Wobbuffet and perhaps Wynaut) that has Stats which are above the usual limit in a scary way.Wob, however, is broken with his scary HP, low defences and Mirror, Counter moves which usually result in an OTK.Uber pokemon are usually unaccepted in Poke Tournys, unless it's Uber vs Uber naturally, and most kids and n00bs use them along with a funny moveset, which may have 4 Attacks of same type, or Physical moves for a Special Sweeper. Hope I helped! :)
Star Child
i get it now...so most of the legendaries r ubers man i hate that.
Felix
n00b mentality fit, if you're going to use Ubers your opponents will and emidiatly your choices shrink down to about 20 Pokemon in order to stay alive for long enough. Where as in Standard you have over 200 Pokemon you could use.
Golden Chaos
Actually, I think using Ubers ruins the whole fun aspect of Pokemon. It's like using a deck with Forbidden cards.
Star Child
well if its an uber battle than it'll be harder to git teh pokemon which makes it more fun to gitem
Felix
Actually' date=' I think using Ubers ruins the whole fun aspect of Pokemon. It's like using a deck with Forbidden cards.[/quote'] Exactly, Ubers are broken and overly focus the Meta. @fit: Don't be stupid, anybody who battles Ubers uses an AR to make them appear, hard my @$$. It is hard to get the right nature and insanely hard to get IVs right. Uber battles are boring and lame, nothing can survive their hits well, bar the Uber defenders that take years to kill. Lyfe.
You make me feel bad because I use my Action Replay to get any Pokemon (including Ubers) I want and level them up to whatever level I want and any move I want...anyone want to battle? >:D Haha, jk. My "L" Button doesn't work on my DS and I need it to activate the codes :/ Besides, I started a new game.
dxjxc
I may use Ubers, but I got them legally, I EV trained them without rare candies, and I gave them a balanced move set (Unlike any of my other pokemon that I didn't have the patience to EV train...) Pikachu
Lol Breloom. I once used Flamethrower on one and it was an one hit KO. Anyways' date=' do you think pikachu can learn Surf in the anime?[/quote'] What? A Super Effective move killed Breloom in one hit!?!... noob... Breloom doesn't defend, he rapes everything you have. Spore on something slow, Sub, Focus rape. then after that he uses Spore on whatever comes out, plus thanks to the Sub he can't be hit, repeat until your opponent's team is dead. And with Toxic Orb, Poison heal combo he has he can keep using Sub and recover the loss of health with that. The ultimate one Pokemon combo. about the Pikachu thing, it probably can but it sucks on the game because you can only get Surf from the event one and that has a lame Brave nature. I have a Quick Claw. Blaziken Attacks first! FLAMETHROWER! WIN!

I have a Quick Claw. Blaziken Attacks first! FLAMETHROWER! WIN! Look, the fact is if I had my Sub up you’d be dead, whatever you did. If I didn't have a Sub up, I'd switch to something that could take your hit then kill you. Let's see what could I use, there's my Salamence, Starmie and Blissey, all would happily take your Flamethrower then proceed to jabroni slap you. Aside from that, crappy luck based Quick Claws are banned in competitive play. And aside from that you didn't actually read what I wrote. I wasn't saying I was faster I was just pointing out that you can't say a Pokemon is bad because it can be killed by a Super Effective move, pay attention. P.S: Sorry for being a know it all d!ck. Lyfe.
Let's Review: Breloom's Special Defense = SuckishBlaziken's Special Attack = Pretty Good Flamethrower = Special AttackFlamethrower Power = 95 Damage Multiplier = 200% OF COURSE IT IS GOING TO DIE!! Even a Magikarp Egg could've figured that out!

Felix
Magby is Route 227 when LG is inseted, while Elekid is Route 204-South with FR insterted. And now to my mane point. Why is everyone being so thick, at no point did I say Breloom could ever take a direct hit from Flamethrower, do any of you understand what Substitute does?... God. If people would please read what a write, instead of lightly glancing over it, it would be greatly appreciated. On a 1 on 1 basis when both are switched in at the same time, a Breloom would never be able to handle a Blaziken but that's why they invented switching, so people can switch to an appropriate counter, take the hit, and set up. If Blaziken switches in on Breloom while it has a Sub up, Blaziken is 100% dead, do not try and question my knowledge of Pokemonz or I swear I will beat you into the ground with my bear hands. Breloom is a better Pokemon than Blaziken, bar a 1 on 1 basis, that's why Breloom is OU and Blaziken is UU.
