[spoiler=[b]PLOT[/b]]This is a Pokemon journey RP. There is no set plot except to become the best Pokemon trainer around. You may capture and raise Pokemon, compete in gyms, or breed Pokemon to give people.

 

[spoiler=[b]RULES[/b]]

  • No godmodding
  • No bunnying
  • Keep language to a minimum
  • Keep violence to a minimum
  • Romance is allowed, but keep it PG13.
  • Only use moves known by the Pokemon, TM or otherwise.
  • You cannot capture every Pokemon you see. I will set limitations later.
  • Level up will be determined by me. More details later.
  • No legendaries are allowed to be caught or owned until further notice. The only people who may have legendaries (max 1) in their party are the 8th, 9th, and 10th Gym Leaders.
  • You cannot win every battle: it just isn't fun.
  • NO DOUBLE POSTING
  • 5-LINE MINIMUM
  • YOU MUST POST AT LEAST ONCE EVERY 3 DAYS
  • LITERACY IS A MUST
  • To prove you read the rules, post rules 10, 12, 13, and 11 in that order at the top of your sign-up sheet.

1. Center City: This is where everyone gets their start. The Pokemon lab is located here and is a quick 20 minute walk away from the Grand Pokemon Colliseum.

2. Triad City: Triad City is home to the region's breeders. Most breeders choose to live here because of its warm climate, soft soil, and soft breezes.

3. Hariyama Village: A small village honoring the Pokemon Hariyama.

4. Roundabout City: Roundabout City is the only city where there are two gyms: the Fire gym and the Dragon gym. It is also one of the gate cities for the ARTS (Ahura Rapid Transit System), Trans-island Gate C.

5. Satoshi Village: A small village that honors a legendary trainer.

6. Yellowtail Town: A small town that honors a legendary Pokemon.

7. Legend Gate: The entrance city towards the Elite Four. There is a rumor going around that legendary Pokemon frequent this city...

8. Hook Point City: The uppermost city on the second island of Ahura. It is home to Trans-island Gate A.

9. Intercross City: A popular city where Pokemon are shipped to and from Ahura.

10. Midway Village: A small village that is in the middle of the upper- and lowermost towns on the second island of Ahura.

11. Fork Town: A town that is home to Trans-island Gate B. It leads south towards Hook Foot City and west towards the Hall of Legends.

12. Hook Foot City: The lowermost city on the second island of Ahura. This city is the only known city where extinct Pokemon still exist.

13. Terra Pass: A large underground city that is believe to be the place where Groudon slumbered. It is close to Mt. Aura.

14. Seabridge Pass: The port city connecting it to Lapras Cove.

15. Lapras Cove: A small port city where Lapras frequent during their migration.

16. Spiros Town: A town home to many Ghost and Dark Pokemon. Even though, it is a pleasant place to live in.

17. Elitas City: The largest city in Ahura, followed by Center City. It is home to the Elite Four.

 

 

[spoiler=SPECIAL AREAS]

1. Forest of Legends: An immense forest that is rumored to be frequented by legendary Pokemon.

2. Eternity Hall: It is rumored that this place is home to an ancient flute. No one has found the flute yet.

3. Mt. Aura: A large mountain home to many powerful Pokemon. Many trainers and Pokemon have become lost in this seemingly shifting mountain.

4. Hall of Legends: A large cave that has never been entered by humans. Many people report seeing legendary Pokemon go into and come out of the cave.

5. Generation Pillar: This pillar is one half of another pillar located in Hoenn. It is rumored that when the two pillars were one, a small, yet great Pokemon resided in it.

6. Grand Pokemon Colliseum: This large battling dome is home to a world-renowned battling tournament. Two legendary trainers are rumored to often appear here under disguise.

2. The Normal Gym is located at Hook Point City.

3. The Grass Gym is located at Intercross City

4. The Electric Gym is located at Yellowtail Town.

5. The Ghost Gym is located at Spiros Town.

6. The Ice Gym is located at Seabridge Pass.

7. The Fire Gym is located at Roundabout City.

8. The Water Gym is located at Lapras Cove.

9. The Psychic Gym is located at Legend Gate.

[spoiler=[b]BATTLING[/b]]Battling is actually a very complex affair. You will conduct a battle via PM through me and the person you are battling. However, if I find an error in the battling procedure, I will point it out. Here is an example of how battles will go:

 

Bob: Go! Chimchar!

You see, there is already an error in this. Chimchar cannot learn Quick Attack naturally, therefore cannot use it. Let's resume:

 

Bob: Chimchar! Use Fire Punch on Starly!

 

Fire Punch would normally be allowed only if Chimchar was hatched by someone playing a breeder.

Let's stop here. This is godmodding. Chimchar breaking Starly's wing to stop Steel Wing? That's just wrong. Do you get the idea? Battles have to go smoothly. I will coordinate battles in this way. Added info will look like this:

1. Challenger sends starting info to me, Da Pokemon Lord:

 

Bob: Go! Chimchar!

 

2. I will type in current level of Pokemon according to my records and send it to the challenged:

 

Bob: Go! Chimchar!

CHIMCHAR (Lv5)

 

3. The challenged types in his Pokemon and sends it off to me:

4. Battle will commence. Both users will send an attack after I send them a PM with the above information. I will then send both of them the results of the outcome. I am not participating against anyone, therefore I am unbiased.

Battling will continue like this until one person is knocked out.

 

[spoiler=[b]BREEDING[/b]]Breeding is not that easy. Natures will not be tracked, nor will characteristics. In order to breed a Pokemon, you must first get a male and a female. This means that breeders need to get a starter Pokemon and raise it. Breeders are not allowed to battle other trainers. This is how breeding will work:

1. The breeder will send me a PM with the two Pokemon ready to be bred, including level, Egg Group, gender, and moveset:

2. I will then send the breeder the results of the mating:

3. The breeder can then make a post stating the arrival of a new Pokemon.

 

Breeding is like that. It is quite simple, yet complex as you want your Pokemon to have certain attacks, so breeders will need to battle wild Pokemon in order to raise the level.

 

[spoiler=[b]CAPTURING[/b]]Capturing is simple: it will consist of a quiz based around the Pokemon you intend to capture. There will be a time limit on the quiz and whether or not you capture the Pokemon will be based on how many you got right and how many you did. If you did all of them, but did not get any of them right, you do not catch it. You would catch it if you only did half of the questions, but got them all right.

 

Shinyness will be determined by a bonus question that is placed at the bottom. If you manage to get this incredibly difficult question correct, then your Pokemon will be shiny.

 

If you do manage to capture the Pokemon, then you may make a post explaining the battle. Here is what the post will look like:

 

Bob sauntered into some tall grass, without noticing his footing. He stepped on a long tail and noticed something strange. He looked down and a Sentret began to attack him.

*Begin capture

 

You MUST put *Begin capture at the bottom of the post you wish to make a capture in. After you make the post, send me a PM with a quote of what you replied. I will then draw up the quiz. You may NOT post again until I give you the results.

 

Also, I will make special posts stating the appearance of a legendary. A special quiz will be taken to determine capture and shinyness.

 

[spoiler=[b]LEVEL UP[/b]]Leveling up is probably the easiest thing to do. Based on what you have posted, then the levels gained will be posted.

 

[spoiler=[b]GYM LEADERS[/b]]Those who choose to sign-up as Gym Leaders are lucky. One thing that differs Ahura from other regions is that Ahura has 10 (that's right, ten) Gyms. These leaders are all incredibly skilled and talented and are chosen through a quiz that is sent to me. Badges are to be made by the Gym leader, either by themselves or to get someone to do it for them. The leader types (in order from first to last) are:

  • Bug (2 Pokemon max)(Lv14 max)
  • Normal (2 Pokemon max)(Lv19 max)
  • Grass (3 Pokemon max)(Lv24 max)
  • Electric (3 Pokemon max)(Lv29 max)

  • Psychic (5 Pokemon max)(Mandatory Pokemon: Metagross)(Lv60 max. After ten defeats, Lv74 allowed)(Legendary allowed: Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, or Cresselia)

[spoiler=[b]ELITE FOUR[/b]]The Elite Four is only for those who are serious about it. It will consist of a rigorous quiz based on the type you choose and the Pokemon in your party. The quizzes are random for each person, so no two people will get the same quiz, even with the same type and party. The champion will be decided by the hardest Pokemon quiz on this RP. I will not reveal the contents of it to maintain its security.
