Nah it's 5 Pokes that have the same type and 1 other Poke. You can have them all the same if you want but that extra Poke at the end allows for even more change. Plus you can change your team every battle so you keep it fresh and you have a better chance at countering the type you're facing. Seriously Dark I've seen it done and it's really fun... Nice avi by the way.

What is the best flying pokemon?

In Uber, I would say Rayquaza since he is the only Flying. In OU, I would say Togekiss.

 

EDIT: Rayquaza, Lugia, Ho-Oh for Uber. Togekiss for OU.

NO no dark that's not what I meant, you will have to use Pokes who have Dark in their type all the way through (bar 1) , what I meant was you can use any combination of Dark Pokemon you want each match and you've got plenty to choose from, it's a goood type.

Out of those, Spiritomb, Weavile and Houndoom are the only ones I would be willing to use. Pop in a Darkrai and a Dark Arceus, one more other-typed Pokemon and BAM I have 6. =\

Not really sure what you mean and Dark, stop being daft. If you don't want to use Dark type because you don't like how of 90% of them look, pick another type, it's no Ubers and Species Clause is on. You've got 14 Pokes to choose from and you say you only like three of them... That's weak Dark real weak:|*shakes head in shame*

It's not my fault that the only worth Dark Pokemon are Darkrai, Weavile, Houndoom and some others that I mentioned. I'll conjure something up, but not if I can't use Darkrai. =\
