I don't like Mudkip due to the fact that Swampart is ANNOYING if you lack a Grass Knot. =\

Mudkip or Chimchar, there's a reason they're the most common starters. Also any grass attacking move is good against Swampert (bar the really crap ones like vine whip). I've caught out a few people who think my Breloom is gonna Spore them but I just OHKO it with Seed Bomb instead.

Okay, so I caught a Groudon in Ruby, 31 ATK IVs, but its nature [don't yell at me Felix] is Serious. I decided to cut my losses and I saved. Good idea?

 

EDIT: I was aiming for a +ATK nature, namely Adamant, but Serious does not affect any stats, is neutral.

Serious is fine, that way you've still got room for Special attacks, your Speed isn't as abysmal as it could be and none of your defences suck to much. It's not the best but it's fine when you can't speed things up.

 

Also Seed Bomb is a Physical 80 power 100 accuracy move.

And I finally can EV train using PKRS/Macho Brace, so I will Pal Park it over later, once I get my Hasty/Naive Rayquaza, Timid Latios and Adamant Beldum. =\

True but if our going for something like 252/136/120 you can't be going at it like that beacause you don't know how many EVs your getting.

Actually, you can just use multiples of 8 to get as close to your number as possible, and then take the Macho Brace off.

 

As long as the EV spread consists of all even numbers, you can get a minimum of 2 EVs and a maximum of 8 or 12.

KK, I still think there's better ways of going about it, all though those ways do involve ARs. Seriously though the types are up, get Dark type if you want it!! Oh and thanks for the commemerative Rep n_n
