Snorlax is a Special Wall anyway so even without the Amnesia it would still take it well. A good Phisycal Fighting move would have been the way to go.

Nah SDEF can gets to 350 while DEF gets to 250. Personally I dislike Snorlax, it isn't all that great. It could be arguably better than Bliss in 3rd gen but Bliss has majourly overshot it now.
