There is always a lot of discussion about the Items Clause but this is the Clause they use in traditional Meta. Aside from that no one even uses the Items clause anymore. On top of that Serebii is a terrible place to go for a Forum. The facts there are good but the Forums are heaving with noobs who use hacks.

 

3 Pokemon, eh? A little dusty on your information there.

 

With the release of new Items such as Focus Sash and Choice Items, 3 items MAX would be way too overpowered. Running into 3 Giratinas @ Leftovers and 3 Darkrai's @ Choice Scarf would not be too pretty. Especially since that would be a near impossible team to beat, unless of course you had 12 Pokemon on your team. Running into 3 Sweepers with a Choice Item and 3 Walls with a healing Item doesn't sound normal too me; it sounds OPed.

 

 

OK Dark you are going down. No one would have three Darkrai's or Giratinas four two reasons; One they are Uber and two SPECIES CLAUSE. Species Clause stops stuff like that from happening and often a clause for only one use of a Focus Sash. An item is just an addition to a Poke to make it work properly not something that is the be all and end all battle winning device. On top of that, if a team has 3 Choice items, chances are they've got a strategy for it but it is in no way OP, it is just a way of playing. If you can only use one move until you switch you are very limited in what you can do and you are very easy to predict. Seriously Dark stop being daft you're really bugging me, you have no idea what you're talking about so don't talk about it. Also, if you noticed, the link to that forum is not out of date it is very much in date as it has the 4th gen Ubers in the Poke ban list.

 

If you really want me to carry on talking I'll tell every one what really happened to that satellite of yours. I'm also pretty sure my good pall Albus (SOS Haruhi) can vouch for me.

Sorry Synch and also sorry to you as well Dark but you do need to be told.

 

Also Synch would have won because the Staraptor has 328 Spd while your Porygon-Z only has 279 Spd and seeing as how they both belonged to me at one point I should know. Sides even if Staraptor didn't have a Spd benificial nature it would still be faster than Porygon.

First of all, can you please tell me what the hell happened with the "satellite", please do. Cuz I am pretty sure since I had 2 bars of connection and I was not in my basement, I am pretty sure I did not disconnect. And I am not that much of a noob to shut my game off. I was so damn proud for having a 15 HP Porygon-Z and a nice one on one battle. And Synchroman says he did not disconnect or reset, so what happened to the satellite, huh? You thought I disconnected? Do you really think I am that much of a noob to do something as stupid as that.

 

Secondly, here is an OPed team basis, but screw Uber clause for this team:

 

3 walls @ Leftovers.

 

Giratina @ Leftovers

Blissey @ Leftovers

Lugia @ Leftovers

 

3 sweepers @ Choice Scarf.

 

Darkrai @ Choice Scarf

Mewtwo @ Choice Scarf

Porygon-Z [:D] @ Choice Scarf

 

Now you tell me, when Item Clause is on, how the hell you are supposed to beat a kick-ass team like that? Huh? Oh, I get it! You are going to use 6 Pokemon to take down the Walls, and use ANOTHER different 6 Pokemon to take down the Sweepers. I GET IT! [/sar]

 

I doubt that Item Clause has 2 items either, since that would make it 2 Walls with Leftovers, 2 Sweepers with Choice Scarf, and 2 Latios/Latias with Soul Dew.

 

So, please, don't doubt my capability to do research or to prove you wrong. We can go all month, all year, all century, and you won't win this battle. Not this time.

 

Please excuse the curses in the above post, I was really flamed right now.

 

EDIT: I don't care if my Porygon-Z would have died. And I checked, it has 285 Speed, which is much less than Synchroman's bird. But that is not what I care about right now. I do realize I would have died and loss, but I am [trying to] explain to you how he cheated, even if it was unknowingly.

However if you really did not disconnect then I'm sorry for accusing you but you did d/c on SOS Haruhi and your situation would lead me to beleave that you would have. Also I just checked and your Porygon doesn't have max, it has four less than max so it was 275 not 285 which is too high for a Porygon without a Speed + nature.

1.) When did I disconnected against SOS? I don't even REMEMBER battling him! I can't think of a time where I either disconnected or battled him.

 

2.) I will explain this to you slowly. ME NO CARE ABOUT ME PORYGON SPEED. ME CARE ABOUT SYNCHROMAN CHEATING ITEM CLAUSE. Un-der-stand?

 

Synchroman, I know you did it unknowingly, but I want to so destroy Felix on this.
