That's why Lucario knows Blaze Kick. Ice beam has no type advantage over Lucario and Blaze Kick will kill the ice type. If its a water type that knows Beam, I'll send out Electabuzz. If its a normal type, Lucario with Hi Jump Kick. I know there are some holes, but I don't care. Its not like I play over Wi-Fi. I can't afford it.

 

If you guys know of any place where I can buy the Nintendo product that hooks into my USB and lets me do all that stuff IRL, not online, let me know.

True it's not the best but it has it's benifits. One, it definately takes a Physical hit like a champ and it makes for an awesome Rappid Spinner/ Dargon Killer. If he thinks Ice Beam is coming he can switch to Blastoise and jabroni slap somethning with Mirror Coat or Seismic Toss. Alternatively you could switch to Lucario and then use Close Combat that deals with Ice and Normal very easily. Or if a switch is immenent from the oponent you can swords dance then murder most of the Pokes with Extreme Speed, any Ghosts can be dealt with by Crunch simple.

 

a good set for Donphan is this.

Donphan is a solid physical wall and is especially helpful for blocking out a Rock weakness on a team. It also makes for one of the best spinners in the game, and unlike Claydol, it can leave a pretty large dent in a Dusnoir switching in to block a spin attempt when given a Choice Band. Provided you have a Cleric on your team pulling off Rest shouldn't be too hard, since it's uncommon to have a situation where Donphan spends more than a turn in play, Donphan tends to be a Pokémon who'll switch in and then be forced out by whatever counter comes into play. Ice Shard is a definate for taking out those super speed filled dragons and is also a usefull quick finisher for stuff that has a Sash with it being a priority move.

 

EV Corner

EVs: 252 HP / 86 Atk / 172 Def

 

Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)

 

 

These are designed to max the HP out and add to it's defense so it can last longer and with the Attack...put up more of a fight.

Get rid of Mewtwo. If you want to be repected as a competitive battler, dont use Ubers, Standard is the way to go. As an addition to your team you could use Electivire, which is always a good combo with Gyrados. You could use one of the big OUs like Tyranitar or Metagross.

Hey guys. Which would be better to use for my team I have so far

Lucario

I cant think of anything else.. I have pretty much every pokemon so I need to know which ones will be best. You may remove pokemon as well.

 

Get a Wall in there' date=' and get some kind of Kyogre counter, or anything that can run both Ice Beam and Thunder.

 

Get rid of Mewtwo. If you want to be repected as a competitive battler, dont use Ubers, Standard is the way to go. As an addition to your team you could use Electivire, which is always a good combo with Gyrados. You could use one of the big OUs like Tyranitar or Metagross.

 

Don't listen to this guy, Ubers may be cheap, but it requires at least some skill. You need more than Speed and stats to win with Ubers. You need anticipation and wise-ness. And many of the best battlers in the world are Uber users. So please, know what you are talking about.

Don't be just picking the Pokes that have the highest max in each stat. that's no way to pick a team. You need Pokes that work well together and cover each others weaknesses.

 

Yes, but high stats don't kill anything for you. High stats are better than low stats.

These are the top Uber battlers to my knowledge. I have only fought one of these people though, and lost 6 to 0. As in, Shimon had all of his 6 Pokemon left. His/her, I meant.
