Personality: Brave' date=' passive but protective of Rengu(see history)

Birthplace: Canada

History: At a young age, Damian discovered he could quickly heal

any cuts or scars that were inflicted on his body, each time took

less time to heal then the last. one time he was unfortunate

enough to get lost in the wilderness among the large Sequoya trees.

He was found and captured by a northern tribe of natives. They

intended on using him as a sacrifice to the Demon of the Night, Rengu.

They tattooed Rengu's likeness upon his arm, a process that would kill

any mortal and lead their demon to the marked victim. Through his

regenerative abilities, Damian survived, and instead of devouring him

mind, body and soul, Rengu's spirit was strapped to Damian's, bond by

the tattoo. The two manage to co-exist symbiotically within the single

form. Damian can summon forth Rengu, but only in the dead of night,

or immense darkness.

Weapon Type: (Sword, staff etc): Chain-mail gloves ; pellets attached to a belt

Weapon Appearance: A white right-hand and black left-hand glove, with

fingertips left revealed, made from a metal that cannot be cut through; small

white pellets that billow out black smoke, that bloats out any light, when thrown

against something.

Fighting Style: Uses disabilitating moves in conjunction with Rengu's fierce attacks

Additional abilities: Spontaneous Regeneration, and excellent sight in the

dark(naturally gained from eating too many carrots)

IC: Ayaska continued to walk through the deserted city, searching about the alleyways. The man she'd met before coming here had the same shadowy presence as the creatures that attacked her manor, she was sure he was related to them. She paused in the middle of a street lying in the shadow of a unusually tall building. Ayaska looked up at the building, noticing it tower above most of the others.

"If I can get to the top of that building I may be able to get my bearings of this city," she muttered.

She immediately headed in that direction, making sure she kept the building in sight. After crossing a wide road she came up to a pair of double black doors which seemed to open themselves in a fluid fashion. Cautiously she made her way inside, noticing that very little sunlight was making its way inside this room. What she could see in here was what looked like an abandoned with a single solid metal door just next to it and another door at the other side of which she could just make out a staircase through the grubby windows.

 

She moved forwards towards the door to the stairs. As soon as she placed her palm on the door to open it she sensed movement behind her and whipper about, noticing black creatures emerging from the ground, the same creatures that attacked her manor.

"What the..."

Ayaska drew one of her ninjato in time to cut down one of the creatures that leaped at her. It fell across the floor writhing before it vanished into a black fog from which two more creatures emerged. Ayaska backed away, walking through the double doors.

"I guess I have no choice," she muttered.

She turned about and ran up the stairs as more creatures began to emerged from it. She cut down any that rose in her way and continued running.

"This is taking too long," she muttered.

She looked up and noticed a window on the landing above, she gritted her teeth and charging, smashing through it and winding up in mid air. As she began falling she planted both feet on the wall of the building and leaped off it, planting both feet on the building opposite and running up it until gravity took hold once more. She jumped again, landing on the wall of the first building and charged up it, dark entrails flying from her feet as her speed increased and several shadows split from her, running alongside. When she was near the top her momentum ran out and she began to fall once more, however she reached out, grabbing the arm of one of her shadows which reversed the momentum she gained from falling and threw her back up and vanished. She grabbed hold of a ledge at the top of the building and pulled herself up onto the roof, rolling over and lying down, panting heavily.

"I am never doing that again," she muttered.

Damian Looked at the stars as Rengu flew with him on his back. He scanned the horizon while Rengu commented aloud, "This city is wondrous, its been dark since we arrived and the twilight shows no signs of leaving. I could get used to this."

"Yeah i suppose it is. But i think we'd better find out what that being wanted when it sent us here. Look!, that building over there seems to tower above the rest. Let's go down there."

 

Rengu descended, winding his way towards the roof. As Rengu got close enough, Damian jump into the air, retracted Rengu within his tattoo, spun and landed smoothly in i crouching position. When he stood again, he noticed a girl had just reached over the side of the building, laying on the ground panting. He walked over and, as reached his hand out, said, "Need a hand up?"

Ayaska glanced over, noticing another person on the roof. Apparently she wasn't the only one to get the idea of seeing where she was.

"I'm fine, thanks," she said, sitting up.

She glanced over the edge of the building, however it didn't seem like any of the creatures where following her up.

"Guess they don't really like it outside," she thought.

Remembering the reason she came up here in the first place she stood up, looking about her at the landscape around her. The city seemed to stretch on forever except for one side in which she could just make out some sort of port area after which stretched a seemingly endless, murky sea.

"Just what is this place?" She muttered, not even expecting an answer.

She looked over at the newcomer. As she suspected his dress and appearance where nothing like she'd ever seen, just like everybody else she'd met here.

"I take it you're not from this world either," she commented.

"This is getting old." Jason sliced the knights and charged straight for Volf "Coward why hide when you can fight or are to scared?" Jason said insulting Volf

Volf: Hmph.

 

Volf sliced at Jason, his Knights cornering him grabing his hands so he wouldn't move.

 

Volf: If you want to die so soon just ask.

 

Volf took a final slice at Jason.

"Not quite." Damian responded, "I'm used to trees being the only things to tower this tall." Damian leaned against the side of the building and stared at the intersection below. "This place is strange. Its entirely populated and yet no one seems to be outside. Almost like they're afraid to go out on the streets." Damian raised himself back up.

Rengu spoke in Damian's mind, "Our best option would be to find the one who sent us here, or he must at least have some grunts we can trace back to him." Damian parroted these thoughts to Ayaska.

Jason using the kights as leverige grabbed the blade with his feet "I wished only to talk, I never intended to battle you at all. If you had not attacked me in the first place I would have kindly left you alone." Jason said tring to stall for time

Volf: Again, you underestimate me.

 

Volf pulls his sword up knocking Jason to the ground.

 

Volf: Do you reguire my help? Or do you want to die?

Hisan had done it already it was amazing that he was that good at scouting and that fast. Within only a days time he had searched the entire eastern direction until the river cut him off. From the east of all the tall buildings, anyone who was standing on top of them would be able to see a figure walking slowly and terrifyingly back into the city.....

Jason stood backing up "I require nothing I will be on my way and leave you in peice." Jason said as he sheathed his sword and walked away but was ready if Volf decided to attack

Volf: Well see... Well see...

 

Undead hands came up from the ground and grabbed Jason's legs.

 

Volf then left.

Jason sliced at the hands tring to free his feet

Since the hands were already dead they could not feel pain which meant it would be hard o kill them.

 

Volf: This should be interesting.

Jason slashed at the hands tring to sever them so he could run

Volf just walked to the city.

Jason broke free and rushed off toward the river

Volf: So he got out uh?

 

Volf: Come forth... Wyvern!

 

A Wyvern comes out and picks up Volf. He heads to mountains.

Ayaska looked out across the city, just noticing a minute figure in the distance before he was swallowed by the concrete jungle. She then looked back at Damian.

"I know where to find some 'grunts'," she commented "But I doubt they'd be of much use."

"What, because they can't talk? There is more than one way to figure out what we need to know. We just bat a few of those shadow creatures around 'til they decide to run, then Rengu can easily follow them."

Damian held his tattooed arm above his head. Rengu snaked his body out of it into the night air. "I can smell them teeming below us."

Rengu stretched his body to a window of the top floor. Damian slid along him and jumped through the window. At first it looked as though the hallway was deserted, then several of the shadow creatures materialized. Damian simply smiled and said to Rengu, "Chow time." As the firsat creature attacked, Damian sidestepped, grabbed it by one of its limbs and flung it towards Rengu's waiting jaws.

Jason stopped at the river to rest "That fight could gone better." Jason said looking back over the fight in his head tring to pin point Volf and his minoins weakness

When Volf finally landed on the moutain, he could make out several stranges images in his mind. One was a lion, another was a goat, and the final was a snake. Volf shuddered. He knew it was a Chimera. Something he hasn't slain. He made his way across the mountain knowing that a fight would happen soon. He neared a cave. He heared strange voices in the cave. He dicided to travel in the cave, making sure there wasn't any Chimeras. But unfortunatly there was. It was near the end of the cave, it's serpentine fangs glistening in the darkness.

 

Volf: ...

 

Volf neared the Chimera closer and closer. He heard a flash and turned around. There was a black glob of acid nearing him. It jumped and landed on him. He was knocked out. When he woke up he found the Chimera sleeping and his armor gone.

 

Volf: Where is my armor now?

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

After a few moments of fighting inside the hallway, all the shadowy monsters were going back into the floor as they sensed a presence that was even more powerful and darker than they... Footsteps could be heard to the right of the hallways intersection, these footsteps weren't normal everyday footsteps these footsteps were both slow and terrifying...

Volf tried to get up but his leg was under a rock.

 

Volf: Ugh... Crap... Maybe I could signal someone...

 

Volf then realized he still had Hisan's explosive in bhis pocket. This was dangerous though. Even though someone would see him the Chimera would wake up.

 

Volf: Well then I just have to take the chance...

 

Volf took the bomb and threw it out the cave. He heard a loud BOOM! Everyone in the city and the city outskirts, including the forest, and the ocean.

Ic: Xentas once again found himself alone. A bunch of shadows appear behind him."Hmm, hospitality sucks here" and preps his blade. Koosoku roars with the sound of battle, as he flies through the swarm of shadows with ease."This is a waste of my time" he says putting away his sword as he starts to walk away.*Why did i agree to that stupid contract* he thinks before heading to the center most building. He makes it to the square to find that a whole bunch of shadows are swirling around each other. They form a large figure that shoots a violent look at Xentas . "Damn why do I always get the big..." the creature swings with amazing speed, which would normally not be a problem, but the impact it had on the ground caused an explosion that can be heard for miles.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

The walking at the right of the hallway suddenly stopped, and then started again but this time it was growing further away rather then closer. Then it was gone, not leaving anything behind but a little fright in the hearts of the ones who heard them. Hisan walked out of the city then started climbing a mountain easily and quick, after he recognized the bomb explosion came from one of his own explosives. Hisan reached a ledge of the mountain where there was a cave, which Hisan of course entered...

 

"Getting yourself into trouble I see..." Hisan said to Volf in his cold and dark tone of voice. Hisan saw the chimera almost completely woken up, but the chimera was still in a sleepily confused state of mind. "Alright then..." Hisan said as he walked over to Volf and easily pushed the rock of with one hand. Hisan grabbed Volf by the shoulder and picked him up, carrying him on his shoulder. Hisan began to walk out just as the chimera got up and was about to give chase.

 

Hisan then through an explosive behind him that was marked E-I. Hisan walked out of the cave and the bomb went off, covering the entire cave in a giant thick layer of ice. Hisan set Volf down on the side of the mountain and then looked at the completely sealed off cave. "Are you alright..." Hisan said as he turned away from Volf and looked at the city from the mountain's ledge. "Don't worry, your armor was no longer inside when I sealed the cave over..." Hisan said taking all of the situation into account...
