Hioco
I myself have this card in both ways... I have it in English super rare and Jap super rare... I wanted to see if anyone thinks it's a good card and also if it goes well with anyones deck. I used to used it with the glasses and well it got me pretty far... I had Jinzo and Marshmellon on the field at that time... Very awsome combo. Anyway if you guys like this card or hate it in any way I want to know... I will be making more threads like this and maybe even post all of the cards out of my deck. Discuss
J-Max
This isn't a Trap is it? lol.... Anyways Like I said in another Topic I find Marshy (Cute eh?) To be a very Useful Wall early on in the Duel. Most people would go with Spirit Reaper, but it has that one Glaring Weakness. Marshy also has a nice 1000 Burn effect which is above Average for Burn Damage.
MarshyK-XS
I pefer marshmallon cos it used to be my name though crab helmet has proved that Spirit Reaper is better
Akira
Spelling=Marshmallon Also, it's secret rare, not super. It's an average card that works in burn or any other stall themed deck, sometimes splashed into monarchs as a 2nd rate option.
MarbleZone
I might be saying something completely retarded here, but I prefer Spirit Reaper over this. EDIT: Nevermind, according to another recent thread, apparently I prefer him for all the right reasons.:P
Azure
The card isn't bad it can be used in some really good combos, as you said.

Flame Dragon
Reaper>Mallon This isn't to say this isn't good. It has a nice list of uses, it's just in most decks that see play now, Reaper can do those things better. Still, their are a few places where Mallon works better then reaper. Flame Dragon
Marshmallon has it's Glasses' date='though.Spirit Reaper has nothing:/[/quote'] are you saying Marshy is better Yes,yes I am. First' date=' take a look at the Type and Attribute. Spirit Reaper is a DARK Zombie, which makes him Allure food, CCV food, food for all sorts of other DARK stuff, and easy to revive. Marshmallon...well, he works with Honest, but why bother? Second, compare their positive effects. Spirit Reaper's discard effect is often underestimated because people don't want to have him in Attack Position, but it is more useful than it might at first appear - limiting an opponent's options is a good thing. After that, you could Tribute him, defend him with something like Threatening Roar or other attack-stoppers, or simply leave him there - you might take a bit of damage, assuming the opponent has anything left with which to attack, but Spirit Reaper will survive. Marshmallon's effect is... a little bit of burn. 1000 Life Points is not much. Third, look at Spirit Reaper's self-destruct effect. At first, it might seem like a negative effect, but consider this: what cards does anybody run that target a monster without destroying it? Most things that target a monster - DAD, Caius, Snipe Hunter, Doom Lord, Phoenix Wing Wind Blast, Murmillo, Gyzarus, Celestia - don't leave the monster in question on the field anyhow. There's Book of Moon, but that doesn't activate Spirit Reaper's self-destruct effect, since he's face-down after it resolves. What does that leave? Brain Control. But in the case of Brain Control, Spirit Reaper's effect is [i']positive - you've lost Spirit Reaper either way, so you may as well deprive your opponent of him. Then there's Enemy Controller, but it's not exactly big right now - in the Top 16 of the last SJC, it merely appeared as a side deck option in three side decks - and even then Spirit Reaper deprives the opponent of being able to take control of him. Some people have been maining Mind Control nowadays, and Spirit Reaper stops that too, just as with Brain Control. One person even had Soul Exchange in their side deck last SJC, and guess what? Spirit Reaper's effect is a good thing there too. Sure, there's Jutte Fighter, but if your Spirit Reaper is already in Attack Position then you were willing to make sacrifices anyhow. The only real problem is Shrink (and sometimes Enemy Controller), but Shrink has fallen well out of fashion lately thanks to things like Gladiator Beasts, and nobody at all used it in the Top 16 at the last SJC. In summary: Spirit Reaper has better Type and Attribute, Spirit Reaper has a better positive effect, and Spirit Reaper's negative effect is actually a positive effect because it prevents the opponent from stealing him.You lose. Sammidysam
Marshmellon is not a card I keep it my deck. Spirit Reaper is just like it, but Marshmellon causes your opponent to lose Life Points. I use Spirit Reaper because I have a zombie deck.

~/Coolio Prime\~
Spirit Reaper has that one huge flaw but still beats Marshy due to support and the discard effect. I mean, Marshmallon has Honest, Spirit has...uh... Don't get me started on Marshmallon Glasses. It's worse than Spiral Spear Strike.

Mr. Judgment Dragon
Marshmallon has it's Glasses' date='though.Spirit Reaper has nothing:/[/quote'] Spirit Reaper has Allure of Darkness, Book of Life and Zombie Master. All of which are widely used. Marshmallon Glasses is a terrible Continuous Spell that supports a Limited Card. Spirit Reaper's support supports other elements of the Deck it would be in as well as Spirit Reaper.
