coinsu
Ok, I just thought of a new combo. Scrap-Iron Scarecrowactivate only when an opponent's monster declares an attack. negate the attack, and set this card face-down again instead of sending it to the Graveyard. SpacegateWhen a monster your opponent controls attacks or is attacked, place 1 Gate Counter on this card at the end of the Damage Step. During your Main Phase, you can send this card to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 monster from your hand whose Level is equal to or lower than the number of Gate Counters on this card. how would you use them? Flame Dragon
I wouldn't use them.
Phantom Roxas
I don't see how this is a combo.
CrabHelmet
I voted for Cyber Vary Bad Combo, but even that doesn't work because this isn't even a combo.
coinsu
Ok if your opponent attacks you, you actvate the Scrap-Iron Scarecrow and the spacegate card steal gets the counter. i use it in my synchro deck.
Aximil
Scrap-Iron Scarecrow negates the attack. So, there wouldn't have been an attack for Spacegate to get a counter from.
ShadowKyogre
What you need to complete this combo is The Dark Door. Although it's slow, it gives you a steady supply and ensures minimal damage.
coinsu
i do not think that it would not get the counter. edit: yeah that would make it a better combo.
Aximil
Maybe we should bring Crab Helmet in again.
ShadowKyogre
"When a monster your opponent controls attacks or is attacked, place 1 Gate Counter on this card at the end of the Damage Step." Hm...it DID attack, but it was negated. Are there any other cards that have similar rulings to Spacegate?
iAmNateXero
Okay, Lets say your in a room and your with a pretty girl. She asks you to make out and you accept and reaches in for the kiss. (Attacking) The best friend barges through the door yelling "Rhonda! We gotta go!" and pulls her out the room before you realize what was going on. (Scrap Iron) Your friends ask you, "Dude! Did you kiss her? (spacegate) Apparently, you would lie and say yes. coinsu
is there a card that makes it where there is no damige at the end of the damige step? edit: ok i see what you mean
iAmNateXero
Yes, Try spirit barrier and astro barrier. Although, you may get punished by Trap eater and your opponent smart enough to wait till they have OTK.

coinsu
yeah thats it and then if you activate it with a strong def monster your opponent loses LP and the spacegate get the counters.

Most people aren't foolish enough to let a "combo" like that hurt them. Ever heard of Seven Tools of the Bandit? Or how about Raigeki Break? Even Two-Pronged Attack would stop this. (Even though it's bad.)
