Tabris
Thank you for being so predictable' date=' Crab Helmet.[/quote'] Yeah, you tricked me. You called me into this topic to explain why Spirit Reaper is better, and then I did so, which is just what you expected. You played me like a game of checkers, you puppetmaster, you. Even if that was sarcasm, it's what I did. I just wouldn't any of that puppetmaster stuff. The best way to lure someone obsessed with proving people wronge is to make a horridly obvious thread. You are the best at this on here after all. No love for Pharaoh Atem, now? Disclaimer: I only call on The Ruler of Benevolence as he is Crab Helmet's mentor, after all. Akira
[spoiler=The Reckoning] Spirit Reaper VS. Marshmallon ... FIGHT ... Spirit Reaper Wins Fatality Flawless Victory ... Super Combo Finish No question. Reaper wins.
Chinotornes
Spirit reaper is definately the best. I run an all zombie deck and he is one of my key cards because i use him in conjunction with spirit barrier so he can be in ATK position for as long as i need him to be with nearly no negative repercussions. but on the other hand his self destruct effect while somewhat useful as crab pointed out it also gets destroyed by any equip cards so unless you have either a strong monster to clear the way for a direct attack or a continuous spell that lets him attack your opponent without targeting him alone it can be kind of a hinderence more than a help. "at this" could have a variety of meanings here; in this case, I'd say that it refers to consistently coming in to idiotic topics and proving people wrong. In many cases, Atem would do very little in terms of coming in to awful topics like these, especially when the cards in question have already been well-discussed countless times in the past; he'd be far more likely to make some sort of (not at all unjustified) comment about the quality of YCM than to actually bother with the virtues of Spirit Reaper. When he actually does display his logic, of course, it is unparalleled, but in most cases he simply doesn't bother with topics like these. (And can one blame him?) There's also the fact that Ax's post has a hint of sarcasm in it.

「tea.leaf」
Indestructible DARK Zombie-Type that forces discard, compatible with Allure and Crush Card. Versus... Indestructible LIGHT Fairy-Type that deals nominal damage, compatible with nothing. Right.

It is unlikely that either card would see any play at all. Exactly. Spirit Reaper is only better because Konami went overboard with the DARK Attributes. Wrong. Spirit Reaper is still superior to Marshmallon as a WIND Sea Serpent. However, as a WIND Sea Serpent, it is no longer worth deck space in decks like Tele-DAD, losing out to other cards that are not themselves walls. Think of it this way: Ookazi is superior to Sparks. However, both are inferior to cards like Dark Armed Dragon, so neither sees any play, even though Ookazi is the better of the two.

And even if they did, Spirit Reaper is better, even as a WIND Sea Serpent, because if you stated "No Support" then it wouldn't even MATTER now would it. So again, you have been proved wrong. And with support, Marshmellon would only have a few support and his stupid little glasses
