Here it is, at long last, the first chapter of Special #2. this is the one using only my characters. the one using Kuja's characters will come next.

[spoiler=Chapter One]

Strange Occurrences

It was dark. I’d been floating in some sort of void for I don’t know how long. The last thing that I remembered was fighting some Digimon who had wandered into my realm. But those Digimon drew their power from some human Children, and one of them had managed to Digivolve into a form powerful enough to destroy me. In the last moment before its killing attack destroyed me, I’d tried to preserve my data by reverting to my Adult form, but it was too late. I was destroyed anyway.

I’d been destroyed, and now I was floating in the Digital Void; a virtually endless purgatory where the data of Digimon goes after it’s judged unworthy of reconfiguration by the Digimon Judge of the Dead, Anubismon. I was alone. The chances of ever encountering another Digimon’s data were nearly zero, and every second seemed like an eternity. But I was patient, spending my time planning revenge against the one who had done this to me in order to preserve my sanity.

Then something happened. I sensed the data of another Digimon. I recognized it. The data had once been Ogremon, the powerful leader of the mighty but secluded Goblimon Nation, hidden within the mountains of File Two. He was known for his incursions into the world outside his kingdom where he would indiscriminately kill any Digimon he encountered. It seemed that he had finally chosen to attack the wrong Digimon.

I had to act fast. Because both Ogremon and I existed as data, I was able to force his data to merge with mine. A change in data type within the void caused a ripple in its very fabric, and I had become powerful enough to see it. I pushed my way through, and emerged back into my world. I could finally exact my revenge on the one that the second human had called Jenifer.

Jen

“Oh man!”

“What is that?!”

“Everyone, run away!”

“Crap,” I said to my sister Kris across the table, “not again.”

We were sitting on wooden benches at a wooden table inside the wooden building that was the galley of the summer camp that we were attending. We’d decided that after all of our stressful experiences in the Digital World, it would be a good idea to take some time to get away and relax. But our experience so far had been anything but relaxing.

As everyone else ran from the building, my sister and I ran toward the fire that had just appeared in the back, coming from within the kitchen. In our arms we carried a furry little horse head-like creature and a metal ball shaped like the head of a dog. As long as our Digimon held still, they appeared as simple toys to everyone concerned. Without a moment’s hesitation, Kris and I ran into the burning room to confront the creature that was the source of the flames.

“This is the third Digimon attack in two days,” said Kris as we tried to see through the fire.

“Yeah,” said Mainemon. “It’s getting a little annoying.”

Almost as soon as my Digimon had finished speaking, a fireball appeared, floating toward us. I ducked under it, noticing that the fireball had a face.

“Oh man,” said Mainemon. “That looks like DemiMeramon. He’s a Child Digimon who’s almost completely immune to physical damage. He also grows stronger when exposed to flames!”

“Then a huge blaze inside a small room really isn’t the best place to fight him I’d imagine,” said Kris nervously.

“Probably not,” I said, “but we don’t have a choice.” I removed my Digivice from my pocket and held it up, calling, “Initiate Digivolution!”

Kris followed suite, “Initiate Digivolution!”

“Mainemon, Digivolve to!” He became a small horse with silky brown fur, “Coltmon!”

“TechnoBarkmon, Digivolve to!” He became a robotic dog made of blue, silver, and green parts, “TechnoPupmon!”

TechnoPupmon held his tail up and called, “Tail Tazer!” Electricity lanced from the emitter on its tip, dealing DemiMeramon a glancing blow. He circled back toward his handywork.

“Don’t let him touch the flames!” I commanded.

“On it,” said Coltmon. “Hoof Stomp!” He stomped the ground, sending waves of tectonic energy through the air, in the direction of the floating flame. But it was too late. DemiMeramon ducked into the fire, and six DemiMeramon emerged.

“That many DemiMeramon could combine their power to Digivolve!” said TechnoPupmon.

“If a Meramon gets loose here,” said Coltmon, “this camp and the forest all around it will be ash in an hour’s time or less!”

The DemiMeramon began to circle around each other, growing closer with each passing second.

“Oh this is stupid!” said Kris. She raised her Digivice again, “Initiate Digivolution!”

TechnoPupmon grew into a large metal wolf, bigger than a grizzly, with long claws and leaf-like tufts on his shoulders. His body was green and blue with silver stripes, “TechnoGarurumon!”

The metal wolf stood facing his opponents as they danced in the air, and called out, “Biotech Blaster!” A green beam burst from his open mouth, engulfing and vaporizing all six DemiMeramon, and taking the back wall off of the galley kitchen.

“Now, about this fire,” said Kris, plugging a data chip into the chip loader on her DIgiplayer. “Upload,” she declared, “Guardian Digichip!” Her Digimon’s mouth glowed, and he breathed a freezing wave that extinguished the flames.

“Let’s get out of here,” I said. Coltmon and TechnoGarurumon reverted to their toy-like Baby II forms, jumped into mine and Kristin’s arms, and we quickly fled the scene.

I met up with Kristin later in our cabin. Nobody else was around, but we were sure to keep ourselves isolated and our voices down to be sure that we wouldn’t accidentally be overheard.

“Mainemon got close enough to hear the camp administrators talking,” I said. “They don’t want the parents to think too much of the incident, so they’ve decided not to close the camp down early. They’ve called in a caterer to handle the food for the next few days until it’s time for everyone to go home.”

“That’s good,” said TechnoBarkmon. “This way we still have a chance to figure out where all of these Digimon keep coming from. First it was that swarm of Poyamon in the woods that those three girls thought were ghosts. Then it was that Gizamon who tried to make a nest in the lake. Lucky for us neither of those caused any damage, or we’d have been shipped back home by now, and we’d be outta luck.”

“It seems like every instance has had something to do with the woods,” said Mainemon. “The Poyamon never left the woods, the lake is in the edge of the woods, and the galley is the closest building to the woods. Wherever these Digimon are coming from, it’s here, in the woods outside camp. We have to find out what’s going on and fix it before someone gets hurt. It was a miracle that no one was in the kitchen when DemiMeramon attacked.

“We’ve been lucky too many times,” I said. “We’ve got to take charge of this situation before our luck runs out and someone gets killed. I wish John were here. He’d know what to do next.”

“You’re here,” said Kris. “You’ll figure it out.”

“Maybe,” I said, “but I’m not really the leader that John is. I can’t shake the feeling that it should be him calling the shots.”

Meanwhile, in the forest outside of camp, a Digiport ha mysteriously formed. We didn’t know it, but this Digiport was the source of all of the DIgimon incursions. As we sat talking about what to do next, the Digiport suddenly expanded, becoming nearly twice its previous size. A few moments later, a Digimon came through. It was Mudfrigimon, a Digimon that resembled man sized a teddy bear made of mud. Most Mudfrigimon were peaceful, but this particular Mudfrigimon was well known for being paranoid and overly territorial. He was dazed and confused, resulting from his trip through the portal. It wasn’t long before he set out to find out where he was, and what was making him so confused.

It wasn’t long before we heard about Mudfrigimon. Kids were running around camp telling stories about how they had allegedly been chased from the forest by a giant teddy bear that threw balls of mud. Mainemon figured that it was probably Mudfrigimon, a Digimon who lives in the southern forest of File Two, and who is known to have a bad temper.

We broke away from camp and headed for the woods. Mudfrigimon had already decided to make the woods his new territory, so he wasn’t hard to find. In fact it was him who found us, attacking with a barrage of mud balls until he could get in close and start swinging at us with his fists.

“Mudfrigimon,” I said, “we can help you get back to the Digital World if you’ll let us.”

“Never,” said Mudfrigimon, moving to flank us. “You only want me gone so that you can take this forest as your own!”

“We won’t be able to reason with him,” said Mainemon. “That’s why other Digimon avoid him in the first place.”

“Then we’ll have to use force,” I said. Kris and I removed our Digivices, “Initiate Direct Digivolution!”

“TechnoBarkmon, Direct Digivolve to! TechnoGarurumon!”

“Mainemon, Direct Digivolve to!” He became a fully grown stallion wearing horseshoes fitted with curved blades, and a war saddle on his back. From his shoulders sprouted feathered wing like a bird’s, “BattleStaliamon!”

“This is your last chance, Mudfrigimon,” I said. He answered me by charging at the Digimon with his fist raised. He swung his fist down at TechnoGarurumon. He was fast, but TechnoGarurumon was faster. He was able to avoid the fist without effort, sliding in close and tackling his foe with all of his strength. Mudfrigimon was left stunned long enough for BattleStaliamon to run past him and slash him with his blades. The aggressive Digimon vaporized.

so after some unforeseen setbacks i've finally managed to get another chapter typed up. i will definitely start making regular updates again now. promise.

[spoiler=Chapter Two]

The Growing Digiport

“These Digimon have to be coming through a Digiport,” I said, “and based on the order that the Digimon have appeared, I’d say the Digiport is growing. We have to find it and seal it before a really big Digimon can get through. Our Digivices can be used to open Digiports, so it makes sense that they can close them too.”

“Close, and track,” said Kris. “I’ve got a Digiport signal on my Digivice radar.”

“Then lead the way.”

TechnoGarurumon hunkered down, and Kristin climbed onto his back. I climbed onto BattleStaliamon’s back, settling into the saddle. In less than a second, we were moving at an incredible speed.

“How far away is it?” I asked over the whooshing of the air.

“How should I know?” Kris replied. “I don’t speak Digivice-ese.”

We rode on our Digimon’s backs, moving at a slight angle toward the camp, but remaining in the woods, the camp still out of sight. It was only a few minutes later that we came to a stop, the Digiport just ahead.

“This is bad,” said BattleStaliamon. “I can hear the children playing back at the camp. The Digiport is far too close. If we are forced to fight here, many humans could get hurt.”

I was suddenly struck by the seriousness of the situation. John usually did the serious thinking. On one hand I was learning a lot about being a leader, and fast, but on the other hand, my inexperience was putting a lot of lives at risk.

I could see the light of the Digiport through the trees ahead. “I’m not reading any Digimon signals between here and the Digiport,” said Kris.

“But the Digivice doesn’t always show Digimon signals when they’re there,” I said. “The Digiport is still about a quarter mile ahead past some pretty thick forest. Let’s veer apart and take different paths around. That way if there is a Digimon there, we’ll have a better chance of spotting it.”

So that’s what we did. BattleStaliamon and I went one way, and TechnoGarurumon and Kristin went the other way. BattleStaliamon on his own was much faster, and he and I found ourselves face to face with the Swirl of light that was the Digiport long before the others.

“Well there it is,” I said, dropping down from my Digimon’s back, my Digivice in hand. “It’s widening! We have to seal it now!”

I raised my Digivice toward the expanding vortex, but it was too late. Before I could do anything, the Digiport flashed and a figure emerged. It was like a four legged dinosaur with gray skin, covered in black armor plates.

“Oh no,” said BattleStaliamon, “that’s Monochromon! He’s one of the strongest Adult Digimon in any Digital World. Close the Digiport while I hold him off.

“No,” I said, “we’re going to leave the Digiport open until we can use it to return Monochromon to the Digital World where it came from. That way we won’t have to destroy him. Get in close and see if you can push him back.”

I jumped back onto BattleStaliamon’s back, and he circled around to face Monochromon, leaving the massive reptile directly between us and the Digiport. Then he bucked up onto his hind legs, slinging energy blades at the foe. The armored dinosaur raised his front legs, deflecting the attack with relative ease. He barely budged.

“Taste my horn, abductor!” Monochromon cried, charging strait at us. BattleStaliamon flapped his wings and rose up just out of Monochromon’s reach. “We didn’t abduct you Monochromon,” I said. “Calm down and we’ll help you get home!”

But Monochromon was clearly not listening. He circled back for another attack. “We have no choice,” said BattleStaliamon. “We have to force him back through.”

“We’ll never be able to pull it off ourselves,” I said. “We need a beam, like TechnoGarurumon’s attack!”

“You rang!” growled TechnoGarurumon, finally joining the battle, Kris still riding high on his back. “Time to go home, Monochromon. Biotech Blaster!”

Monochromon, realizing what was coming, raised his front legs and braced against the attack, but the beam was still powerful enough to push Monochromon back, until he fell into the vortex and was pulled through.

“Alright,” I said, raising my Digivice, “it’s time to end this.”

But for the second time now, before I could close the Digiport, it flashed, and something began to emerge. I expected Monochromon, but instead out stepped fifteen small child-sized green-skinned goblins carrying clubs, alongside roughly thirty total of Bakemon and Soulmon, the ghost-like Digimon that Amanda and I had encountered back in the haunted mansion, in the Digital World. Behind them emerged two grim reaper Digimon in red cloaks, carrying golden scythes.

“Wh-what is this?” I stammered.

Even as I spoke, another figure emerged behind the others. He was tall, standing at a height of nearly twenty feet. He looked like a sinister skeleton whose bones were colored red and black, and he carried a staff that was nearly as tall as him with a spherical crystal on the top and a point on the opposite end. In his chest, behind his ribs, was a glowing sphere of light. In his free hand, the skeleton held Monochromon by the neck. The Digiport closed behind him.

The skeleton was looking the struggling dinosaur in the eyes, squeezing its throat. He hadn’t noticed us yet, and his troops were focused more on him than on their surroundings. “You shouldn’t have come back,” said the skeleton to the dinosaur. “I may have used you to test my portal, but in exchange I gave you a new world full of territories to claim. But instead of partaking, you belittled my generosity by refusing my gift. For that you will die!” He squeezed harder, and the dinosaur vaporized.

I was horrified.

“Jen,” said BattleStaliamon, “that tall one with the staff has an energy that’s different than anything we’ve ever fought!”

My shock turned to anger, “Then we’ll have to destroy him before he can use that energy against us. Attack!”

BattleStaliamon and TechnoGarurumon, with my sister and I still on their backs, lunged at the new appearance, prepared to strike. He saw us coming, and he swung his staff so fast that I barely saw it move, throwing the Digimon to the ground. Kris and I fell from their backs, stunned. I sat up first, followed by Kris, the Digimon rising to their feet a second later.

“He’s fast,” said BattleStaliamon.

“Yeah,” said TechnoGarurumon, “and strong.”

The skeleton looked down on us and laughed, looking right at me. “Of all the people to encounter first here in your world,” he said, “it’s only fitting that it would be you, Jen.”

“D-do I know you?”

The Digimon only laughed.

I steeled myself up, rose to my feet, Kris at my side, and stared into the skeleton’s empty eyes demanding, “Who are you?”

“If it’s really so important that you know,” the Digimon said, “I will grant you this knowledge as a final request. Do you remember discovering a mansion in the Digital World?”

“Of course,” I said. “Amanda and I were forced to fight Myotismon, a Ghost Digimon. He was strong, but my Digimon was able to defeat him in the end. But what does that have to do with you?”

“After Myotismon was hit by your killing attack, he tried to preserve his data by reverting to his Adult Level form, but it was too little too late. He died, and he was sentenced by Anubismon, the Digimon Lord of the Dead to float for eternity in the endless Digital Void. It was hell. But he encountered by accident the data of the mighty Ogremon. Using what remained of his strength he drew Ogremon’s matrix into his own. The two Digimon DNA Digivolved, gaining power enough to escape. The two Digimon became one. They became me. I am Skullsatamon! Myotismon’s need for revenge combined with Ogremon’s need to conquer has given me a unique perspective, and an unbeatable type of power. My troop of Goblimon, Bakemon and Soulmon will decimate your world while I seek revenge on those who ended my prosperous former life as the Ghost Ruler!”

Skullsatamon raised his staff, aiming the crystal at the Digimon and firing a bolt of red lightning that hit them, throwing them up into the air. They fell hard, unmoving.

“Go my troops,” Skullsatamon commanded, “and destroy everything in your path!”

“We won’t let you hurt anyone,” said BattleStaliamon, he and TechnoGarurumon rising to their feet as the enemy troops charged into the surrounding forest.

“Go get ‘em guys,” said Kris.

“And go,” I said, “with our blessing.”

Kris and I passed our hands over the tags that held our crests, and the crests emerged, floating in the air. We grabbed them and inserted them into our Digiplayers, calling, “Initiate Warp Digivolution!”

BattleStaliamon’s body became metallic and he grew into a twenty-foot robotic angel carrying a shield and sword, his masked face covered by a glass face protector, “BattleStaliamon, Warp Digivolve to! MechAngemon!”

TechnoGarurumon shrunk and stood up on his hind legs, taking on the form of a full grown man with metallic arms and legs, a slightly hunched back, and masked face. He wore a silver, blue-striped wolf-skin cloak, the head of the cloak covering his head and eyes like a hood, “TechnoGarurumon, Warp Digivolve to! CyberGarurumon!”

“CyberGarurumon,” I said, “go after his troops. MechAngemon, take care of things here. Kris and I are going to get everyone out of the area.”

“Don’t worry,” said MechAngemon, CyberGarurumon running after his folly, “we’ll take care of this.”

here's chapter three, the second to last chapter in this special.

[spoiler=Chapter Three]

War in the Woods

We ran. We ran through the brush. We ran through the crowd of Goblimon, Bakemon and Soulmon, ducking and weaving between them. A Bakemon nearly hit us with his claws, but he was destroyed by CyberGarurumon who seemed to appear out of nowhere.

“Yeah,” Kristin cheered, “go Pup!”

CyberGarurumon stood in the center of the mass of Digimon and said calmly, “Your target is me.” Kris and I would have stayed to help, but we had our own job to do. We were close to camp, so it didn’t take long to arrive. We ran strait for the office of the camp administrator. At first he didn’t our story about the strange monsters fighting nearby. Then Skullsatamon and MechAngemon rose into the air and started to battle it out. Needless to say, the evacuation was underway in seconds.

Meanwhile, CyberGarurumon had engaged the entire enemy troop at once. He scanned the crowd with attentive eyes. “Locking on,” he said as the enemy Digimon moved to surround him. Before they could strike, CyberGarurumon removed his sash, letting his cloak blow in the wind, exposing the concealed missile launchers on his back. The missiles fired as CyberGarurumon called, “Cyber Wolf Bite!”

The missiles swerved, zooming through the threes. They exploded as they hit their targets, spreading smoke throughout the area, obscuring CyberGarurumon’s view. But a moment later the two Phantomon, the scythe-wielding guards, burst through the smoke, their scythes raised. They pressed in close, giving CyberGarurumon little time to react. He had to fight his hardest just to keep up with his two opponents, both of whom obviously knew how to fight.

In the air a little ways away, MechAngemon used his sword to parry blow after blow from his opponent’s staff. Skullsatamon's speed seemed to be greater that that of the Ultimate Digimon, easily making up for the gap created by MechAngemon’s higher level, if there was really any gap at all. It become evident early on that Skullsatamon was far beyond any Perfect Level Digimon that we had ever fought. MechAngemon was holding his own, but it seemed impossible for him to counterattack.

Elsewhere CyberGarurumon was also holding his own, deflecting blow after blow of his opponents' scythes with his mechanical claws. But he was still outnumbered, and his opponent’s had weapons with descent reach, while he had none. His only real chance to strike a killing blow would be to catch his opponent off guard, which would have been easy in a fight against any one opponent, or even multiple opponents with lesser skills. But these two had no doubt had a great deal of experience watching each others’ backs. They moved as one, covering every opening in each others’ fighting styles with ease.

In the air above, MechAngemon finally managed to pull back from his opponent. He thought that he had the battle won, swinging his sword and calling out, “Celestial-Tech Blade!” A wave of shining energy capable of cutting nearly anything slid from the edge of his sword, spinning toward its target. But Skullsatamon stood his ground, swinging his staff, deflecting MechAngemon’s attack with ease. It spiraled toward the ground, tearing through the earth below like tissue paper before fizzling out.

Skullsatamon laughed a menacing laugh and seemed to flicker away. He was suddenly behind MechAngemon. He jabbed the mechanical Digimon in the back with the pointed end of his staff. Then, still laughing, he flickered out again, swinging back around, just as MechAngemon spun in an attempt to meet him. Skullsatamon charged energy in the crystal end of his staff and rammed it into MechAngemon’s back between his wings, drawing sparks from the point of impact.

Skullsatamon pulled back and swung around in front of MechAngemon, summoning energy into his staff, launching it in the form of red lightning. MechAngemon raised his shield, but the red lightning danced around the shield and up his arm, pouring through his circuits, overloading his systems. MechAngemon fell limp, hanging unmoving in the open air.

Skullsatamon swung his staff like a club at his vulnerable opponent, hitting him in the face, shattering his glass face shield. MechAngemon was thrown backward, smoke pouring from the angelic mecha’s every joint. MechAngemon hit the ground hard and slid for awhile before finally coming to a stop, knocking over trees and digging a crevice in the ground. He slowly started to rise, sparks pouring from every joint.

“I won’t let you win,” said MechAngemon. “I beat you when you were Myotismon, and I’ll beat you again.”

“No you won’t,” said Skullsatamon in a lyrical voice. He flickered out again, appearing behind the half-risen form of his enemy. He kicked MechAngemon in the back of the head, knocking him forward onto his face.

“This is fun,” said Skullsatamon, the glowing sphere in his chest flaring as he laughed maniacally. MechAngemon pushed off of the ground with both hands, but it was useless. He couldn’t move, and he’d dropped both his sword and his shield anyway.

Skullsatamon waited until MechAngemon finally managed to get back up onto his knees, and then he stepped up beside his and kicked him in the shoulder, kicking it loose so that his arm was hanging by only a few cables. MechAngemon collapsed onto his right side. “This is a lot of fun,” said Skullsatamon. “I’ll play with you for awhile, and once there’s nothing left of you but bits of metal, I’ll go after your human slave master and I’ll kill her too.”

Not too far away, CyberGarurumon continued to struggle against the two Phantomon. His dual opponents continued to press him, preventing him from using any attacks. Neither side gave any sign of backing down.

As the fight continued, Kristin and I were helping the camp staff evacuate the last of the campers. As the last of the camp’s three buses powered away, we took an opportunity to slip away from the staff members, most of whom were waiting to leave in their own vehicles once everyone else was out, and headed strait into the woods.

“This is bad,” I said, running full speed. “I haven’t seen MechAngemon for awhile. If he’s not flying, he’s hurt.”

“I wish I knew what was going on with Pup,” said Kris, running at my side. “I’m not too worried about those little ghost things, but those grim reapers looked pretty tough.”

“We’ll split up,” I said, “and each follow our own Digimon’s signal. We’ll find them and let them borrow our strength like they did against Tyranterramon.” Kris nodded, and we pulled our Digivices from our pockets, activating the tracking program. As soon as we entered the woods, we veered apart, venturing out on our own.

Kristin

I found CyberGarurumon after only a few minutes, or rather he found me. He was pushed through a grouping of trees by one of the Phantomon and landed right next to me. When he saw me he yelled, “Kristin! Get back! Get out of here!”

But as my Digimon spoke, the second Phantomon burst through the trees as well, swinging his sickle. He would have hit me, but I had the presence of mind to drop to my knees and cover my head. The sickle missed by mere inches.

But Phantomon had seen me. We pulled back and prepared to strike again. This time he wouldn’t miss. But as his sickle came down, he was cut off by CyberGarurumon, who grabbed the grim reaper’s scythe in his metallic hand and squeezed. The sickle shattered.

I looked up at me Digimon. He was holding the face of the other Phantomon in his left hand, and he aimed his right palm at the Phantomon with the broken weapon. The captured Phantomon squirmed and clawed, desperately trying to escape, but it was no use. CyberGarurumon’s green aura flared up. He had a fire in his eyes as he said, “Leave Kristin alone.”

His aura poured into his palms and discharged in the form of two massive Cyber Wolf Claw attacks that literally tore the two Phantomon apart. But CyberGarurumon used up all of his energy in the attack, immediately degenerating to TechnoBarkmon, falling unconscious at my feet. I scooped him up in my arms and said, “Thanks, Pup.” Then, with determination in my voice I declared, “I have to get to Jen.” With that I took off through the woods again.

Jen

When I found MechAngemon he was lying on his stomach, unmoving. Skullsatamon was stomping on his back repeatedly, laughing all the while.

“Get off of him!” I cried. I picked up a rock and chucked it at Skullsatamon, hitting him in the head.

“Ah,” he said, “look who’s back. It’s the Human responsible for ending my prosperous former life! I’ve been waiting for you.”

He rose up into the air and raised his staff, aiming the crystal at me. Lightning erupted from the crystal.

“No!” cried MechAngemon. Somehow, even in his current state, he found the strength to throw himself in the path of Skullsatamon’s attack. I saw his data strain, barely retaining its cohesion, and then he reverted to his Child Level form, falling heavily to the ground.

“Jen,” said Coltmon, rising up onto shaking legs, “run while you can!”

“No way,” I said, “I’m staying. We’re in this together, no matter what!”

I felt a familiar power flow through me, linking me with my Digimon, giving us both strength.

“This isn’t over,” I said, as Coltmon and I gained identical pink auras. Coltmon, who had recovered his strength, leaped up and slammed Skullsatamon with his hooves before falling back toward the ground, away from the startled foe. I ran toward him and jumped up toward his falling form. There was a flash.

“Initiate,” I called, “Bio-Merge Digivolution!”

“Coltmon, Bio-Merge to! Samuraimon!”
