Tabris
Hello there? Anyone care enough to post?
ShinobiDark72
This deck confuses Me... Is this what an Oppression deck looks like? This deck would be royally screwed by Jinzo... Um... Crush Card??
Tabris
It capitalizes on the damage-inducin' loops Begone, Knave! creates. Oppression is just an add-on, so as to counteract DAD, JD, Teleport and nonesuch.
Akira
I think a skill drain variant of this could work much better. If you don't like that idea, -1 plague wolf and -1 don for 2 mask of darkness. Solemns are a must, if you can get them.
Tabris
I've been thinkin' of usin' Skill Drain instead... ... then again, I'll just make another thread for that. I don't really need the MoDs; the last thing I want is a dead card. And no Solemns. In a build like this, losing half of your Life Points is harakiri. Akira
^ Point taken but at the minute, your looking at having at least 2 and sometimes 3 continuous cards on the field at most times, meaning that a heavy storm or would just murder you- some protection in the form of either solemn or bribe couldn't hurt. Mr. Judgment Dragon
Dark Bribe would be the better option if losing half your Life Points is bad for a build like this.
Tabris
Then mine placing Don Zaloogs here would be pointless.
Mr. Judgment Dragon
Magic Drain? That seems to be the next best option I guess. It would theoretically work in combination with Zaloog in a way. Your opponent either gets their Spell negated or discards a Spell to activate it. You do need to protect your continuous cards somehow. Heavy Storm completely ruins a set up field, Trunade can open up a potential OTK and MST will cause problems for your Knave and / or Oppression. Tabris
... which is why I've MST and the 3 Dusts to deal with them. Drain seems to be a good choice. However, what if mine opponent could afford to throw off a Spell to destroy whatever infrastructure I've built to that moment, to save his MST/Trunade/Storm from negation? Maybe I'll side it. Maybe. Mr. Judgment Dragon
solemns or dark bribes are a must in here Solemns as a must would normally be the case in many Decks but this Deck cant really afford to lose half LP if it is already taking hits to trigger the effect of Begone Knave and add to that the costs of Oppression's Special Summon negations. Tabris
You don't understand, nate. I can't afford to put Solemn in here; I'm takin' on my opponent's monsters AND payments for Royal Oppression already. Solemn here is suicidal, as it becomes ever easier for my opponent to nitpick my LP clean. I can't bring Bribe for one reason: Don Zaloog. Anyhow, I'm considering replacing the Wolves with Dark Jeroids, as well as the Burdens with Mystic Plasma Zones. What do you think?
