If you like 1-on-1ing, this is the place for you. All you have to do to sign up is post here! ^_^ If you'd like to be a pollmaker as well as a duelist, just say so. ^_^ [spoiler=What is 1-on-1ing?] It is where 2 card makers each make a card and start a poll in the card contests section with both of the cards on display. The poll question asks which of the two cards is better, and members will answer that question with their opinion. When the poll closes, the one with the most votes wins the duel, and is usually given a prize from the loser, most often 3 reps. [spoiler=Pollmakers and How to Handle Bias] Sometimes pepople will vote for their friend's card, or vote for whoever they like more. This is obviously not good for dueling/1-on-1ing. I have an idea to help solve this however. Just don't tell who's card is who's, and don't add your name anywhere on the card. ;) Each contestant can agree on 1 of the pollmakers here. The pollmaker will make the poll as a 1-on-1 hosted by the Duelists Club. The contestants will be listed, but the poll and thread will not indicate who's card is who's. It will be a public poll so that neither contestant or the judge can vote. Only the judge and the 2 contestants will know who's card is who's. Once the contest is over, the pollmaker can confirm the winner. If the pollmaker does not make it a public poll, or indicates who's card is who's, they will lose their pollmaking job. [spoiler=DPs-Duelist Points] Each time you win a 1-on-1 hosted by the Duelist's Club, you gain 3 DPs. Even if you lose, you will gain 1 DP. You only gain points if your 1-on-1 was hosted by the Duelists Club.
