Your example isn't very clear. The text doesn't seem visible with the color you have chosen, I suggest add another example, then I may buy :P

Don't touch brightness, but mess around with the Hue / Saturation settings. You can also do border recolors, and Sticker recolors with the skills you already have.

just go to the tutorial section and go to the paint.net perfect holos and use the one in there,it's very common.

i dunno if this is good but not many people do this but if you set the holo layer to color dodge before saving,i think it makes the lines,well brighter and the dark spots lighter.

i think it makes the holo more cooler in my opinion.

Anyways, the feet are probably from where the render stopped, it was most likely in a square box, and didn't have feet in the first place.
