"See you just can't win this fight Drago. Now you will die here and like it..." The swords flew high into the air and then they all came crashing down to the ground and were just about to finish the job when all of a sudden a figure appeared behind Vincra and the swords stopped. "Ah its you, what do you want!" The figure whispered something to Vincra. "Huh, alright..." The swords disappeared and the plane shift wore off and they were back in the forest. "You got lucky this time, but next time I will kill you!" Vincra said as she and the new mystery person disappeared...

"Good evening Lis. I'll have 3 gallons of your finest apple ale please." Haltero laid out 100 pieces of gold for Lis as he awaited his order. He took a gaze around the luxiourious--well, sorta--Inn. Tacky colored rugs welcomed guests at the front door, and a run down coat hanger, which couldn't carry it's weight, looked as though it was about to give way. Luckily for the manager, the cheap rates and friendly environment made up for that, and the many disruptions with the Inn.

As Meti entered the room there was a lot of men, dragoon, human, and some other class of fighter all gathered round a table. They all seemed to be playing a card style game known as spades in this time. There was on empty seat next to the head of the table where Meti was to sit...

Lis went up to the counter and then told the barkeep the order. After about 10-20 minutes of waiting the barkeep put a small wooden box on the counter. Lis picked the box up and started walking over to where she had sat Haltero. "Hello again sir, here is your order and I do hope it's to your liking!" Lis picked up the money and walked away. In the crevices of the box an extra gallon of ale was in the box, and there was a note on the top that said "Welcome to Vescropolis!" and it was signed "Lis"....

Sykes had been walking around the town for a bit then decided to go to where he was about to meet Meti. Sykes went all the way across the eastern district of the lower level and then climbed stairs to go to the eastern district of the upper layer. Sykes then entered Sariahs Place. Sykes was greeted by a dragoon male. "How many in your party?" Sykes looked at the waiter and then smirked. "Two, my other guest will be arriving shortly..." The waiter grabbed two menus. "Very good sir." The waiter lead Sykes to a good window side table and placed the two menus. "I shall be back momentarily." Sykes stopped the waiter for just a minute. "Tell Sariah that an old friend is here..." The waiter nodded and went to the back...

"Good Good." A man said as he checked his name off a clipboard. "Now we can get started! Let the freelancers associations meeting take place within the next 5 minutes of everyone's calming down." A man at the other side of the table said as everyone started to take there seats and shut up.

A woman in apron and a weird cooking hat stepped out from the back of the kitchen and then smirked. She walked over to where Sykes was sitting and sat down. "Hello my dear old friend of mine!" The woman said with a shout at Sykes. "Well, hello there Sariah, as loud and unbearable as ever I see..." Sykes mocked her...

"Alright now we only have on major piece of business right now, and that is of course getting more members. Some of the most powerful freelancers in this land are still not a member of this council!" The man walked over to a briefcase and opened it. "Here is 2 freelancers that we have not been able to get into the council for a long time." He passed out two biographies to all the members. "The first is Tatachi Mizuki, he is a freelancer that lived in the city of Blaztia. That city was normally the city of berserkers, but since then it is the Warrior capital of the world.."

"Now if you'll flip to the next biography we can learn about the next person." Everyone flipped there reports in shock at the person who they have seen on the page. One member of the council stood up. "Look there is barely any information on this page. Besides this freelancer has not been heard from in at least 15 years!" The head of the table waved his hand and the man sat down. "His name is Sykes, and as you can see all we have is his first name and his possible city of origin. Though we do not have a clear picture I would like everyone to ask around about his whereabouts..." The head of the table stopped and opened for questions and comments...

Someone in a suite of master freelancer garb entered the room. "Freelancer Bagisi, reporting for duty...." A lot of people gasped at who this man was. "Freelancer Bagisi...is back?" On freelancer said. "It's been 54 years!" Another said. "What jobs do you have of me..." Bagisi asked. "Ah yes Bagisi, I want you to take Meti over here and go find this freelancer..." The head of the assembly said as he pointed at Meti and through Bagisi a Biography of Sykes. "Will do..." Bagisi said...

"Sorry Meti, but you will not be going after Sykes attention on your own. Some of the freelancers here have dealt with Sykes before and I'm afraid that you'll just have to go with Bagisi on this one..." The master said to Meti. "Of course this job is simple, you merely ask him to attend. If he refuses have him give a reason why. Then report back here." The master of the table said onto Meti. "The only reason I send Bagisi with you is because well...Sykes tends to well leave his location when he is told about the council, and Bagisi for sure can stop hid departure..."

ooc: Don't worry about Bagisi right now, but in the future he will become a main NPC...

"Very well.." Meti said and he pointed his finger threateningly at Bagisi, sinse Meti hated working with a partner. "If you do something to ruin any of my plans about going to Sevichra, it'll be your blood upon my blade." And he stormed out, but he also called back as he was walking, "Come on! Slowpoke.."

OoC: Notice what Sevichra spells when it's spelt backwards..

Bagisi merely followed the stupid boy to wherever he went, for Bagisi knew that the boy merely would hate all partners not just him. In his mind there was really no reason to get upset even in the slightest. Bagisi was now walking beside Meti as the sun was starting to go down and the wind was picking up...

Sykes was still in Sariah's Place talking to the owner and his old friend, Sariah. "So what we're you doing cooking in the kitchen Sariah... Don't you own the place or something like that..." Sykes said as he nonchalantly sipped his beverage. "Yeah, I do own this place, but you know me I always love to cook and help out. Like when I helped you out cause you just couldn't have done anything without my help!" Sariah answered. "Heh!" Sykes smirked back at Sariah, still waiting for Meti...

"I know what you're thinking. You think I'm dumb for hating partners, don't you?" Meti said, as though he could read Bagisi's mind. "You needn't call me a boy, for all you know, I have seen more combat that any of those freelansers put together."

He made conversation with Bagisi until he finally found Sykes outside of a tavern.

Bagisi looked at Sykes and decided to talk. "I'll make it simple, the council wants you a member so that the council can use our power to take over Vescropolis. However, I do believe that this would be stupid, freelancers have never had there own city for one reason. We are supposed to operate in secret, for though our work is much different from that of the assassins we must still hold tight to our secrecy..." Bagisi explained to Sykes.

"Ah good old Baisi always telling more then needs to be told, a great strength and a horrible weakness..." Sykes said as he stood up. "I wish not for us to have a city either, but if I have to join the council to have a voice in the matter then that I cannot do..." Sykes said as he started to walk off. "Come on then Meti, we'll go to Sevichra since I have yet another friend there and I can grab a book I've been wanting..." Sykes said as he walked further.

"Hold on Sykes, your gonna take me with you as well right?" Bagisi said as he walked up to Sykes. "Besides it would be hard to say no after all we have been through right?" Bagisi said as he placed a hand on Sykes shoulder. Sykes backed up a foot or two. "Possibly..." Sykes looked over at Meti as for looking for approval...

So the party walked along until they were about halfway to Sevichra, it was getting darker as the sun was just about all the way down and the moon was almost all the way up. "Heh, it really got dark fast didn't?" Bagisi said while he was walking along with the group. "I suppose..." Sykes responded...

Suddenly, but surely footsteps could be heard in the distance. Hard stomps on the ground, and several of them coming Sykes, Meti, and Bagisi' way. Sevichrain soldiers emerged from the bushes. "You there, what are you doing out so late tonight!" Sykes looked at the soldiers un-startled. "We are merely traveling to Sevichra before morning hits..." The soldier looked as if he believed his story.

"That is probably true, but we are sorry to report to you that no one is allowed into Sevichra for the next 12 days. So if you would please turn around and go back to Vescropolis or Denom..." Sykes looked over to Meti and then at Bagisi. Sykes took a thought, hoping that Meti really could read minds. As of right now Meti, we are unnamed freelancers, if we take a few gurads there is no way they could find us. Or we could just go to Denom and come back. Either way we can't go to Vescropolis... Sykes that in hoping his thought was read...
