How to create easy renders in GIMP!

1.) Open GIMP.

 

2.) Open the image you wish to be rendered.

 

3.) Click on this tool: gimptutorial1gj0.png

 

4.) Zoom in.

 

5.) Click on the edge of the render and continue clicking. Like so:

6.) Before you complete the clicking on the edge press ctrl and then click back on the one you used to start.

 

7.) Zoom out.

 

8.) Go to your Tool Options and select "Selection From Path" and right click on the selection. and press cut.

 

9.) Open new a transparent window and click paste.

 

10.) Upload

 

11.) The render should look like this:

i already know how to do this but still great,and also,you don't have to open another window,after pressing selection from path,you can just go to Layers>transperency>add alpha channel,and invert the selection by pressing ctrl+I or go to selection>invert.then you press delete on your keyboard,saves some time.so you don't have to open a second window.sounds long but it's actually quite fast.

Hmm. Thanks, but every time I try that something goes wrong. D=

 

It still works the way I do it, though.

I did this once on after effects. I was making a green screen background. I will soon get gimp so thanks!!!
