I fail to see how your logic that Mad Archfiend is better against Scapegoat.

 

Mad Archfiend can take out Stratos, Laquari, and some other monsters that are used a lot in the Meta.

 

Twin Breaker only has 1600 ATK, and it can't even take out Stratos. Mad Archfiend would be a better choice because not only could it be useful against Scapegoat, it can take out some other monsters too.

 

Again, how is Mad Archfiend a better choice when facing the op with Scapegoats?

 

So, you'd rather hit your op's Scapegoat once with Mad Archfiend and 1800 of his/hers LP rather then take down 2 Scapegoats and 3200 of his/hers LP?

 

And even if you attack Laquari with Mad Archfiend, you'd won't be doing yourself any good.

your kidding, right? how do you do more damage than that by burn without relying on what your oppoent has on the field? and keeping cannon alive isn't hard, you actually don't even need to, just play another / the toon one. you could have 6 in your deck, so you will likely a) always have a copy on the field or in your hand or b) draw something that can get you one. it's easy.

I don't think Cannon Burn would be consistent with Plasma Control everywhere, anyway ;)
