So here let's suggest what the next yugioh series will be, a few of my suggestions would be: Yu-Gi-Oh Dimensions: Like what they do with the Digimon series, start from scratch and introduce unique elements that the previous series didn't deliver. Yu-Gi-Oh Monster duels (geddit): Inspired by the Dark World saga at the end of GX, a series focused around the world the monsters live in, and the monsters backgrounds (cause that would really boost the card game!) So anybody else with ideas, shoot...[/quote'] Do you mean like how the third, fourth, and fifth episode of Digimon has nothing to do with the past two which did involve each other? I think Yugioh GX should do like the old series when the duelist(s) had Deck Monsters and if they were destroyed you lose or use more of the use of Tag Team duels as the last two seasons of GX kinda lacked. This could show all the characters, from the original and GX series, in the Pro circuit or something along those lines. I think they could even relate it back to Duel Academy. Showing Hasslebury and Blair being in years 3 and 2, and maybe some new characters. EDIT: Hasslebury would be a 3rd Year, Blair would be a 2nd Year. shonenhikada Posted January 5, 2008 Report Share Posted January 5, 2008 my idea is Yu-gi-oh monster fusion,you know when joey got the lord of the red armor on him it was kinda like he and the red eyes fused into one being. My idea for next series would be that when a monster is summoned to the field the duelist can choose to fuse with the monster,and can only fuse with another monster when the monster fused with it is destroyed or someone uses de-usion, and the duelist get all the attack and defense of the monster would have as well as it's special ability.kinda like i'm expanding upon the idea that occurred in Valon and Joey wheeler match. this new series would have a totally new cast by the way and takes place in an alternate universe,where jaden and Yugi are merely fan fiction. shonenhikada Posted January 11, 2008 Report Share Posted January 11, 2008 to me a good series would be to focus on the old cast before GX but this time with the story more driven around the supporting characters like Mai,Weevil,Rex,Mako,Leon,Yami Bakura (guest appearance) and so forth and less on the main characters like Tristan,Tea and Yugi; telling us about what happened to them before gx as well as how duel academy came into fruition. That way not only would we get to see them duel more and get a better look at the cards they have in their decks but we also get to develop their character more,I found that throughout the series we never got to see them duel much it use to revolve around Kaiba and Yugi allot.
