IT IS a CHILDRENS CARD GAME

Recommended Posts

A long time ago in elementary school' date=' these two kids were argueing over who's deck was better. Soon it escalated into yelling and they ended up fighting. They were rolling on the floor hitting each other. I just kept my distanse and laughed. :/

they should have just dueled.

Do you remember at all what it's like to be in elementary school? There's no such thing as "common sence" there.

I haven't been into YGO for like 5 years now so I got plenty of stories with kids doing stupid stuff...

Of course being the ignorant 4th graders we were copying the crappy rules layed down by the "geniuses" behind the 4kids writing staff this is one of many similar instances, but this is the only one I really remember. I was playing this kid during recess and I bring out a Blue-Eyes. Desprate for our crappy 4kids rules to kick in, he summons Niwatori (for anyone who doesn't remember it's a winged beast monster with 900/800). (DESCRIPTION: "Swallows enemies whole and uses their essance as energy.") By the description you could assume what happened after, he thought that my monster was destroyed as if it were Man-Eater Bug. (And to think kids watching our duel actually bought this!)

My brother and I used to duel like that actually. We thought there was a rule where if you had a monster that had wings on it, it could only be attacked by another monster with wings. So I had a Skull Red Bird (4 Stars 1550 ATK 1000? DEF) and he summoned a Stone Ogre Grotto (5 Stars [no tribute. Yeah, we were noobs] 1600 ATK 1500 DEF) and said he could attack my Skull Red Bird because Stone Ogre Grotto was "tall" enough to be able to "reach" it. Yeah. Then we got in a small arguement over that.

uuuhhm well i was at my tournament i set my deck done without looking where my opponent placed his deck, i accidently placed it straight across from his deck, he flipped out screaming "fine set your deck there i dont care!!" then i stared at him and moved my deck to the opposite direction of his deck, then he stoop up threw his deck to the ground andd ran out swearing.......

Sometimes it's fun to duel as The Slime Lord says. I've done that once, and it was outrageous. Especially since I managed to pass a rule that Dasher, being so damn fast with wheels, could attack people directly. In some ways it's amazing fun, just using the imagination and yelling your lungs out because Summoned Skull does extra damage to water monsters. (another rule we played: Light monsters that had anything to do with thunder/lightning negated the effect of Water monsters. I got down a Creator, then we decided by majority [1v1 duels but we had like six people watching] that Treeborn Frog couldn't come back. It was insanity).

Good times, good times.

no it just means you think it OK to scam a kid ITS NOT!

That is an opinion. Do not state it like fact unless you know your right. And i know your not.

IT can be ok to scam a kid (of course, more for you than the kid), if you make the kid think its even then hes not gonna care, and then you come out happy, and so will that kid. No harm done. I've been ripped out of an ULT rare value, and I'm the one here telling you that its not a big deal. Probably because I believe that self > everything else. And that it matter not what you do with pieces of cardboard.

I remember one kid who tried to trade me fake egyptian god cards for mage power. You could clearly tell they were fake, yet he was claiming they were real! He was also telling me that he would trade me for his tea, grandpa, and pegasus tins!

Ohh, today I played this kid so bad. He bought MANY (I could not tell you how many) TAEV booster packs with the travelers checks from his last out of country trip, and I knew what he was gonna buy, so I brought some bad rares so that if I opened his packs for him, i could switch my shitty rare for a holo i could pull from the pack.

So I open like 3 packs (ATM I am with Gist and the guy who bought the packs), nothing first two, the third blazewing butterfly holo, switched my damage=reptile in for that)

Gist pulled no holos and did not need any of my rares to swap.

Gist leaves after al the packs are opened and me and the kid decide to back for more. This time, he gets like 5 TAEV and many DP04 (cyber dragons??? lol) He throws me 3 taev, and I open the first one, well I did a bad job and I just said, congrats, Chthonian Emperor Dragon. :) Whilst hes busy opening his next pack, I cunningly open the next one. Its a Mormolith (secret for those who dont know) I switch in my snake rain that i brought for it, and give him the commons with the snake rain, and keep mormolith for myself. The DP04 packs failed, two supers, no cyber dragons or ultras.

Then we go back again, nothing notable fthe third time.

In the end, he spent about $140 on cards. Bought me a Water, gave me a buck because AND I QUOTE "I hate $1's" And I switched two valuless rares for his morlith and blazewing, and almost chthonian. So today has been a good day for me. :) Yeah, it was mean, but in the end.

I was ahead 1x TAEV secret. :), the only secret pulled, and 1 slip of hand lost me the only ultra pulled. Oh well, he got like 8 supers, and one was an ult.

Spent: $0

got: 1x mormolith, blazewing, $1, and a water.
