Synchro cards?

I haven't ever seen one of these in real life and yet they seem to be fun to make. Can someone please explain to me how they work?

Theres also a spin-off in the 5D's series known as "Dark Synchro's". They kinda follow the same path as Synchro Monsters but are much more complex. Search for them on Yu-Gi-Oh Wikia.

They go in your extra deck and you need two monsters to summon it example 1 tuner and 1 non-tuner.
