ECWLogo2.jpg

Washington D.C.

Red fireworks explode across the stage as the next exciting edition of ECW is set to begin!

"Hello and welcome to E C W! I'm Todd Grisham alongside Matt Striker, and we're live in Denver, Colorado!"

Mark Henry

The show begins as "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry enters the arena. As he walks to the ring, he receives some boos, but nothing too noticeable. WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas walks by his side, dressed in a black suit. Henry climbs the ring steps and walks through the second rope to get into the ring. He taunts in the middle of the ring.

"As Todd Grisham said, welcome to ECW, and welcome to what is very likely to be a short opening match. "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry has been sidelined for a couple of months after suffering an injury while training, and now he looks better than ever."

"I tried to speak to Mark Henry earlier today, but apparently he had no interest in doing so. I did manage to get a word from Tony Atlas, who told me that Mark Henry was ready to regain "his" ECW Championship."

"You know that somewhere Shelton Benjamin is watching this match. If he's not, he really should because what happens in this match could very well happen to Shelton Benjamin soon enough."

Ricky Ortiz

It's time to "Rally Up!" as one of the first superstars to join ECW through Theodore Long's New Talent Initiative makes his way into the arena. He swings his "O'Rally" towel around as he walks down the ramp, trying to "Rally Up!" the crowd. Upon entering the ring, Ortiz throws his "O'Rally" Towel into the crowd to some cheers.

"Matt, do you think Ricky Ortiz rallied himself up for this match?" Todd laughs.

"He might've tried, Todd, but I don't know how you get excited for a one-on-one match with Mark Henry. It just doesn't seem possible."

"I've got a question, Matt. Who do you see leaving with a victory here?"

"What kind of question is that, Todd? Mark Henry hasn't been in the ring for months and now that he's returned, he's ready to kick some a*s."

First Match: Mark Henry (w/WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas) vs. Ricky Ortiz

Match: The bell rings and the biggest mis-match since Rey Mysterio vs. The Great Khali is ready to get underway. In perhaps an attempt to give himself some confidence going into this thing, Ortiz tries to get the crowd to start a clapping chant. They do for a moment, but it stops abruptly when Henry demolishes Ortiz with a Double-Armed Clothesline. Henry stands in the ring for a moment, looking one-hundred and five percent focused. He grabs Ortiz by his hair and pulls him to his feet with ease. Looking to keep on his opponent, Henry drives Ortiz into the corner. He hits a Right Hand to the face to make sure Ortiz doesn't move before backing up. Henry runs forward, going for a Corner Splash, but Ortiz wisely dodges it causing Henry to run into the turnbuckle. "The World's Strongest Man" falls to one knee and Ortiz capitalizes with a Dropkick to the back as Henry falls to the mat.

"If you're Ricky Ortiz here, what's your gameplan in a match like this?"

"Survive, Todd. The chances of Ricky Ortiz winning this match are slim to none."

Ortiz looks at the crowd and smiles. They cheer as he rebounds off the ropes and makes an "O" sign above his head before leaping in the air and hitting The Big "O" on Henry! Hooks the leg! "1!" Henry throws Ortiz off of him and halfway across the ring in an amazing display of strength. Even after being hit with Ricky Ortiz's finishing move, Mark Henry is still one-hundred percent. Henry picks up Ortiz and lifts him over his shoulders with very little effort. Henry yells before dropping Ortiz with a Military Press Slam. The Former ECW Champion turns his attention to Tony Atlas who nods, signifying that he's impressed.

"That's what I'm talking about, Todd. Mark Henry kicked out of Ricky Ortiz's finishing move at one count and proceeded to lift the man over his shoulders before dropping him to the mat below. That's strength."

Henry drags Ortiz to the corner and turns him horizontally. Climbing to the second rope, Henry continues to keep his focus. He leaps backwards, pushing off the ropes and hits a powerful Splash on a fallen Ortiz. The crowd boos a bit, but it was pretty much inevitable. Henry backs up to as Ricky Ortiz gets to his feet. Ortiz goes for a Clothesline - probably out of desperation - but Henry catches him, lifts him, and WORLD'S STRONGEST SLAM! Cover..."1! 2! 3!"

Winner: Mark Henry

"Wow. That's my response. Mark Henry is back and he just sent a message to the entire ECW Locker Room."

"If Shelton Benjamin was watching that match, you've gotta know that he's concerned about just how long he'll be holding that ECW Championship."

"Well, don't forget that Shelton Benjamin has to defend the ECW Championship against Tommy Dreamer this Sunday at Extreme Rules. If Tommy Dreamer loses the match, he'll retire from wrestling, but if he wins, he'll sign a new contract."

"We learned earlier today that Shelton Benjamin's Match with Tommy Dreamer will be contested under Extreme Rules, so Tommy Dreamer will be right at home."

"And still to come tonight, the new ECW Tag Team Champions, The Hart Dynasty, team up with William Regal to take on Evan Bourne and - if Bourne can find any - two Tag Team Partner's of his choosing."

The Hart Dynasty & William Regal vs. Evan Bourne & ? & ? [Tonight]

"Coming up next, we're gonna see some more Tag Team Action! Chris West teams up with Zach Ryder to take on Goldust and Zack Blaze!"

Chris West & Zach Ryder vs. Goldust & Zack Blaze [up Next]

Commercial break

We're back live and ready for some Tag Team Action! Zack Ryder steps into the arena to a big pop. He taunts on the ramp, gaining more cheers from the crowd. His blonde hair is put into a ponytail, and he is wearing his usual wrestling attire, the red "Ryder/ECW" tights and black wrestling boots.

"Last night on Raw, The Hart Dynasty defeated Evan Bourne and Ren to become the new ECW Tag Team Champions, injuring Ren's knee in the process. That - in a sense - opens the door for a new Tag Team to challenge for the Titles, and I think Zack Ryder and Chris West are just the people to do that."

"That may be true, but tonight they've got to get past the bizzare Goldust and Zack Blaze."

The crowd - and Zack Ryder - turn toward the TitanTron as Chris West's new theme, Unbreakeable by Fireflight, begins to play throughout the arena. The young superstar enters the arena, ready to compete. He gets a decent pop as he high-fives some fans before rolling into the ring.

"When Chris West Debuted here in ECW, I was sure he'd have a great future here, and so far I've been completely correct."

"Chris West returned about a month ago to help Zack Ryder fend off The Hart Dynasty, and how fitting would it be for Ryder and West to win the ECW Tag Team Championships from The Hart Dynasty?"

Ryder and West look at each other for a moment and Ryder nods. West exits to the ring apron as Ryder is going to start the match. Goldust and Zack Blaze stand in the opposite corner of the ring, having made their entrances during the commercial break.

Second Match: Chris West & Zack Ryder vs. Goldust & Zack Blaze

Match: Things get started with a lockup that results in Ryder taking Blaze to the mat. He hits a Dropkick on a sitting Blaze and tries the cover, but only gets a two count. Blaze quickly rolls to his feet and goes for a Hero Attack, but Ryder dodges it. Roll-Up Pin from Ryder..."1! 2!" Blaze rolls out of it. Ryder runs forward and gets taken down with a Back Body Drop. The crowd boos as Zack Blaze taunts in the center of the ring. Blaze waits for Ryder to get to his feet and locks his arms around Ryder's chest, applying pressure. Ryder, from the pain, goes to his knees and Blaze keeps the hold locked in. West gets the crowd to start a "Let's Go Ryder!" chant and his Tag Team Partner gets motivated. Ryder hits a few elbows to the head and Blaze tries to keep the hold locked in. Ryder gets to his feet and sits back down, pulling Blaze's head down in the process. Cheers fill the arena as Ryder realizes that he needs to make a Tag.

"That was an impressive counter on Ryder's behalf, but now - in order to make it mean something - he needs to make the Tag."

"Zack Blaze looks like he could use a Tag too. Ryder had control when this thing got started, but Blaze switched it up pretty quick."

"Zack Blaze was trained to wrestle by Kurt Angle; in many of his matches, Zack displays a lot of similarities to The Olympic Gold Medalist."

"Some have said that Zack Blaze is a little more extreme than Kurt Angle; so perhaps it's only fitting to have Zack Blaze here on ECW."

Ryder crawls slowly to the corner and makes a much-needed Tag to Chris West, who wastes no time getting into the ring. Zack Blaze gets the Tag to Goldust. "The Bizzare One" goes for a Forearm Smash, but West ducks it and hits a Back Kick to the chest. He turns around and hits a DDT to a big pop. Cover! "1! 2!" Zack Blaze breaks it up. Goldust Irish Whips West into the corner and goes for a Corner Clothesline, but "The Rapidfire Superstar" dodges it, sending Goldust into the turnbuckle instead! West hits an Inverted Backbreaker and pulls Goldust to the center of the ring. Rebounds off the ropes...Knee Drop connects! Hook of the leg..."1! 2! Three--no!" Goldust kicks out!

"That was a close call, and Matt it seems Chris West has tons of energy tonight!"

"Chris West is a future Champion, and there's really no denying that. However, Zack Blaze is as well, and we've got a pretty even matchup here."

Looking to keep the upper hand, Chris West gets Goldust to his feet. He Irish Whips Goldust into the corner and makes the Tag to Ryder. Ryder hits an Uppercut in the corner to a big pop. Zack Blaze runs into the ring and looks to kick Ryder in the back of the head, but West pushes Ryder out of the way, causing Zack to hit Goldust instead. Ryder throws Zack over the top rope and out of the ring and Tags West back in. West goes to the top...Goldust sits up...RAPIDFIRE PLUNGE! Hooks both legs..."1! 2! 3!"

Winners: Chris West & Zack Ryder

"Wow! Talk about a Tag Team with great potential; both Ryder and West looked impressive here, and their opposition did too until Zack Blaze kicked his own inadvertently kicked his own Tag Team Partner in the face."

"Well, ladies and gentlemen, coming up next, The Hart Dynasty teams with William Regal to take on Evan Bourne and two Tag Team Partners of Bourne's choosing."

"Who will he choose? We'll find out next!"

The Hart Dynasty & William Regal vs. Evan Bourne & ? & ? [up Next]

Commercial break

The Hart Dynasty

Boos fill the arena as the ECW Tag Team Champions, David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd, emerge on the stage with Natalya at their side. They walk proudly to the ring with the ECW Tag Team Championships Belts around their waists.

"Welcome back and we're here for our Main Event. The Hart Dynasty - a team I've always been very fond of - captured Tag Team Gold last night on Raw thanks to Natalya Neidhart, the woman you see standing with them now. I wonder what role Natalya plays in all of this."

"Not only did Natalya help The Hart Dynasty become the Champions, she pulled down the rope during the match at one point and caused Ren to injure his knee. Ren is not here tonight, and we don't know how long it will be until he is."

All three enter the ring and Natalya gets a microphone. Boos fill the arena as they stand in the center of the ring, proud of their "achievements". "I am Natayla Neidhart, the daughter of Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart." Boos fill the arena, but they're not directed at Jim, they're directed at The Hart Dynasty. "David Hart Smith is my cousin, and Tyson Kidd was adopted into the family at a young age. As all three of us are the best competitors in the WWE, we figured we should form an alliance. A Dynasty, if you will. The Hart Dynasty will reign supreme over all of ECW, because..."

William Regal

BOO! The crowd boos as the Heat World Champion steps into the arena, the Heat World Title around his waist. He is wearing a robe with the design of a british flag, and black wrestling tights underneath. He looks angry, yet determined as he walks to the ring, holding a microphone.

"It looks like William Regal didn't feel like listening to what The Hart Dynasty had to say here."

"Well Matt we know William Regal feels that Evan Bourne disrespected him when they fought two weeks ago; some people see it otherwise."

"No one cares what you have to say." Boos fill the arena as Regal enters the ring. "You got lucky last night in your Tag Team Match, just like Evan Bourne got lucky when he defeated me two weeks ago." Regal knows he's wrong, but his ego keeps him from admitting it. The crowd continues to boo. "Evan Bourne is a rookie; he thinks he's good, when in actuality, he's not. I am the most recent winner of King of the Ring, something that Evan Bourne never has - and never will - do. Tonight, I will show the world that Evan Bourne's win was nothing but a fluke." The crowd shows their disapproval for Regal through boos, but he doesn't care.

Evan Bourne

Evan "Air" Bourne enters the arena to a massive ovation. He walks down the ramp, smiling brightly. As he does so, he high-fives tons of excited fans sitting in the crowd. The look on his face suggests that he's confident, he plans to give the crowd yet another exciting performance.

"Evan Bourne is changing the way we see Tuesday Nights! Every time Evan Bourne steps into that ring, you know you're gonna see something awesome!"

"That's true, Matt. I wonder who Evan Bourne chose as his Tag Team Partners tonight."

Bourne stands at the end of the ramp and turns his attention toward the TitanTron, as do his opponents.

Rob Van Dam

"What?!"

"No freakin way!"

Rob Van Dam, who was Drafted to ECW in the 2009 Draft Lottery, emerges on the ECW Stage for the first time in years to a huge pop. Bourne smiles as Regal and The Hart Dynasty seem shocked. Van Dam makes his way down the ramp, high-fiving tons of fans along the way. He high-fives Bourne and the two wait for their Tag Team Partner.

Big Show

The crowd pops huge as The World's Largest Athlete walks into the arena, some perhaps taken aback by his massive size. He raises his arm in the air on the ramp and yells to another big pop. He walks to the ring, high-fiving some fans along the way. Bourne and Van Dam follow him, entering the ring.

"Evan Bourne has chosen Rob Van Dam and The Big Show as his Tag Team Partners! The odds are clearly in the favor of Evan Bourne's team!"

"The Hart Dynasty and William Regal are great; all of them. However I think The Big Show alone could take the three of them. Add in Rob Van Dam and Evan Bourne and you've got yourself a nearly unbeatable team!"

Main Event Match: The Hart Dynasty & William Regal vs. Evan Bourne, Rob Van Dam, & Big Show

Match: After a moment of talking, Big Show decides to start the match for his team. The crowd pops huge as Big Show taunts in his corner, warming himself up for the match. Kidd, Smith, and Regal spend literally a minute arguing over who's going to start, as none of them want to face The Big Show. Reluctantly, Kidd decides to start. He foolishly runs toward Big Show and gets effortlessly taken down with a Clothesline. The cheers continue as Big Show pulls Kidd to his feet with one hand. He grabs Kidd's neck and throws him - literally - half-way across the ring. Looks of concern line the faces of Smith and Regal as they watch from the apron.

"Todd?"

"Yes, Matt?"

"I'm starting to think that Natalya's comments from earlier about The Hart Dynasty being the best athletes in the WWE might be slightly untrue."

Van Dam calls for a Tag and the crowd pops in excitement. "The World's Largest Athlete" throws Kidd into the corner and makes the Tag to Van Dam, who enters the ring and backs up. Show grabs Van Dam and Irish Whips him toward Kidd as Van Dam hits a Spinning Wheel Kick in the corner. "RVD" chants fill the arena as Van Dam is back home in the Land of Extreme. He pulls Kidd out of the corner so that he's laying horizontally to the ropes. After walking to the other side of the ring, Van Dam does an "R! V! D!" taunt before rolling forward twice before rolling forward a third time and hitting a ROLLING THUNDER!! Cover by Van Dam! "1! 2!" Smith breaks up the pin. Big Show starts to come in the ring, but the Referee stops him. Kidd stomps away at Van Dam before Big Show tells the Referee to pay attention to what's going on inside the ring. The Referee notices Smith still in the ring and yells at him. Van Dam goes for a Clothesline, but Kidd ducks it and hits a Swinging Neckbreaker.

"Tyson Kidd taking advantage of the distraction caused by David Hart Smith, and it paid off."

"Kidd's gotta make the Tag now so they can keep the advantage."

Tyson Kidd crawls to his corner and makes the Tag to William Regal, who gladly enters the ring. Van Dam tries the Tag, but Regal pulls him out of the corner before he has the chance to do so. Regal drops a couple of elbows on Van Dam's back before applying an STF. "Mr. Monday Night" yells in pain in the center of the ring as the move takes a toll on him. Big Show and Evan Bourne will him on from the ring apron. Regal's team does the same for him. Van Dam slowly crawls to the ropes. He manages to get his hand on the bottom one and Regal has to break the hold. Regal's viciousness shows as he pulls Van Dam away from the ropes and drops a knee to the back of his neck. Turns him over, hooks the leg..."1! 2! Three--no!" Van Dam kicks out! Regal gets Van Dam to his feet and tries a Suplex, but Van Dam counters it into a Small Package! "1! 2!" Regal rolls out of it! Regal goes for a Clothesline but Van Dam MAKES THE TAG! Evan Bourne leaps over the ropes and hits a Springboard Crossbody on Regal to a huge pop! Cover! "1! 2! Three--no!"

"Evan Bourne almost pinned William Regal for a second time! How close was that?!"

"Bourne and Regal; this should be interesting!"

Regal tries a Lariat, but Bourne ducks it easily! Bourne off the ropes...TILT-A-WHIRL HEADSCISSORS! Regal flies across the ring and Bourne taunts to a huge pop. He hits an Armbar, followed by another, and things don't look good for Regal. Smith and Kidd call for a Tag, but Regal's out of it. He gets to his feet - dazed - as Bourne climbs to the top rope! Bourne leaps DIVING KNEE TAKEDOWN!! "Let's Go Evan!" chants fill the arena as Evan "Air" Bourne goes to the top once again.

"Ladies and gentlemen, if you haven't seen this for, prepare to be amazed!"

Bourne takes to the sky...SHOOTING STAR PRESS! Hooks the legs! "1! 2! 3!"

Winners: Evan Bourne, Rob Van Dam, & Big Show

"That's gonna do it! Evan Bourne, Rob Van Dam, and The Big Show are victorious here on ECW!"

"Ladies and gentlemen, thanks for watching, and we'll see you this Sunday at Extreme Rules!"

Very impressive ECW' date=' good card, my one critisism is that the returning RVD entered before the Big Show, which kinda sucked the importance from his return a bit in my eyes.

[/quote']

I hadn't thought of that. Van Dam had only been out for a couple of months, though. He was Drafted to ECW and I gave him some time off.

Extreme Enigma wrote the Cryme Tyme vs. Vladimir Kozlov & The Great Khali Match. Thanks to him for that. He is our new Co-Writer, so expect to be seeing a lot more matches from him.

Bright blue fireworks explode vertically between the stage and the TitanTron as we're two days away from Extreme Rules!

"Ladies and gentlemen good evening and welcome to Friday Night Smackdown! This is Good Ol' J.R. Jim Ross alongside Tazz and we are live in Washington D.C.!"

"This crowd is pumped tonight and so am I! We're just two days away from Extreme Rules, and you couldn't ask for things to be any more intense!"

"I personally can't wait for this! Mr. McMahon is not only gonna fire Vickie Guerrero tonight, he's gonna hold a Battle Royal to crown a new Smackdown General Manager!"

15-Man Battle Royal [Tonight]

Cryme Tyme

Cryme Tyme

The fans pop huge as the Brooklyn Boys, The WWE Tag Team Champions, Cryme Tyme enter the arena, high-fiving a tone of fans, they enter the ring - JTG with a microphone in hand.

"Both of these men - Shad and JTG - will be competing in that 15-Man Battle Royal later tonight to crown a new General Manager. Could you imagine, Tazz, if one of these men was the General Manager of Smackdown?"

"Not really, J.R., but I know for a fact that they'd make Smackdown even more interesting than it already is!"

“Yo yo yo yo yo yo YO!”

The fans pop again.

“What's the deal with all this United Nations stuff? I get that you guys are supposed to be the best of your own countries, but that don't mean you should team up? See we' from Brooklyn, and let's face it we're the best, but that don't mean we can walk around, teamin' with the best of the rest of New York beatin' people up!”

One more pop as JTG throws down his Mic.

Vladamir Kozlov

The Punjabi Nightmare and the Moscow Mauler enter the ring together to MAJOR heat, and Khali takes his place out on the apron, where as Kozlov, and JTG circle one-another in the Center of the ring.

"It looks like Kozlov's starting out with JTG here, JTG's gonna have to try to out-run Kozlov, But I don't know he has the speed to do that!"

JTG runs at Kozlov, but takes a boot to the head almost straight away, Kozlov picks up the Brooklyn native, yells something in Russian - and executes a Sambo-style throw, towards his team's corner, before making the tag to the Punjabi Nightmare.

"United Nations are just dominatin' here man, this match is pretty much on ice if they keep going like this!"

"And Cryme Tyme aren't just any athletes, these guys are the Tag Champs, Tazz!"

Khali comes in with a Khali Chop, JTG crashes to the mat below, Khali roars and raises his arms to major heat, before setting up for the Punjabi Plunge, Shad runs into the ring in an attempt to save his partner, but Kozlov cuts him off with a Battering Ram headbutt, before pulling him up for an Iron Curtain chokeslam - Double-Two Handed Chokeslam! Cryme Tyme are done! Kozlov leaves the ring, Dragging Shad with him, as Khali stands, placing his foot on the chest of the fallen champion's.

"Double Chokeslam by United Nations!"

It's over count to a thousand if you want, Ref! JTG is down for the count!

"1! 2! 3!" The arena is filled with boos as Kozlov's music begins to play. The Ruthless Russian and The Great Khali celebrate in the middle of the ring, doing simply what they were supposed to do; make an example.

"We learned earlier today that Kurt Angle's group is referring to themselves as The United Nations. The newest member of the group is Finlay, who made his prescence known this past Monday on Raw, attacking an injured John Cena."

"Yeah but Brock Lesnar made a huge return to WWE, and helped Cena out. Later on tonight, Lesnar will step into the ring with Finlay in what I'm sure will be a great match!"

Brock Lesnar vs. Finlay [Tonight]

Commercial break

We return to find Santino Marella walking in the back. Almost instantly boos come from the crowd. As he's walking, he "runs into" Kurt Angle.

"So a Kurt? What did you think of my impressive a performance on Raw?"

"Impressive performance? You call that impressive? First of all, before Finlay even came to the ring, you were getting your a*s handed to you by John Cena. Then, when Finlay did come to the ring and help you out, the two of you got your as*es kicked by Brock Lesnar." The crowd pops at the mention of Lesnar's name.

"That was not a my fault! How was I a supposed to know that Brock Lesnar was going to return?"

"You weren't supposed to know, Santino. That's the point; an excellent athlete like myself and the rest of the United Nations would be able to handle something like that. You weighed Finlay down by being out there; he wasn't even going to make his first appearance for the group until Extreme Rules, but you ruined that." Santino looks concerned as Angle is speaking. "But you know what, Santino? I'm a man of second chances; you couldn't beat Cena on Monday, but I'm going to give you a second opportunity tonight on Smackdown." Angle says, peaking Santino's interest. "I spoke to Vickie Guerrero earlier, and in her last act as Smackdown General Manager, she made a match. Tonight, it's going to be Santino Marella vs. "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton!" The crowd goes wild and Santino's nervous look returns. "If you are able to defeat Randy Orton tonight, I'll let you join the United Nations." Angle walks away, patting Santino on the back as he does so.

"Well that's uh...interesting to say the least. Santino Marella will take on Randy Orton for a chance to join the United Nations."

Santino Marella vs. Randy Orton [Tonight]

"No disrespect to Santino, J.R., but is there really any way he could win this?"

"Honestly Tazz, I'm leaning towards no."

Commercial break

"Welcome back to Smackdown! We're in Washington D.C. just two nights before Extreme Rules, and that's shaping up to be a huge Pay-Per-View Event!"

"I can't wait for Extreme Rules, J.R.! Even better, though, is the fact that tonight we're going to crown a new General Manager on Smackdown!"

15-Man Battle Royal [Tonight]

Finlay theme

Finlay enters the Smackdown Arena to boos. He walks to the ring without Hornswoggle. There is a Shillelagh in his hand, and he smiles confidently as he climbs the ring steps and enters the squared circle.

"Finlay, born in Northern Belfast, Ireland, made his "Debut" in the United Nations last night, attacking John Cena. As many of you know, John Cena is not even medically cleared to compete. Three weeks ago on Smackdown, Kurt Angle hit John Cena with a car and Cena suffered internal injuries. Mr. McMahon told John Cena last week that it could be a month or two until he was medically cleared to compete again."

"Randy Orton, John Bradshaw Layfield, Ted DiBiase, and most recently - from what we can tell - Brock Lesnar have decided to step up and try to put an end to the United Nations before it really gets going. Orton said that he doesn't like Cena, but what Kurt Angle did was out of line."

Brock Lesnar

The former WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar, enters the arena to a massive ovation. Some of the fans weren't sure if he would actually show up or if the fight on Raw was a one-time thing. Finlay tries to remain confident as his much larger opponent makes his way down the ramp, high-fiving a bunch of fans.

"I still don't believe this, J.R.! Brock Lesnar made a return after a four-year absence, and he did it in a big way!"

"Kurt Angle criticized Santino Marella earlier for not expecting something like this, and allowing himself to be taken out by Brock Lesnar. He did - in fact - give Santino another chance, though. If Santino Marella can defeat Randy Orton tonight, he'll be added to the United Nations."

Second Match: Finlay (representing the United Nations) vs. Brock Lesnar

Match: The bell rings and our second match of the night in underway. Finlay eyes his opponent, looking for the best way to get the match going. It's expected that Lesnar has some ring rust, but after the performance on Raw there are some doubters. Lesnar tries to start things with a Right Hand, but the Veteran expertise of The Fighting Irishman comes into play as he blocks it and applies a Hammerlock. Lesnar quickly breaks the hold, using his power to his advantage as he runs backwards and rams Finlay into the corner. Lesnar turns around and hits a Right Hook, taking the fight out of his opponent. The crowd pops huge as Lesnar pulls Finlay out of the corner and blasts him with a Clothesline. Cover! "1! 2!" Kick-out!

"Tazz, you gotta think Finlay didn't expect this much of a fight out of Brock Lesnar this early on in his return."

"I don't know, J.R. For most guys, it takes a couple of weeks to get back into it, but for a guy like Brock Lesnar, I don't think he needs any time."

Lesnar drops a few knees to Finlay's chest, looking to work on the upper body area. He gets Finlay to his feet and hits a Snap Suplex. Tries the cover..."1! 2!" another kickout from Finlay! "Lesnar" chants begin to fill the arena and the Former WWE Champion uses them to get some momentum. He picks Finlay up and Irish Whips him into the corner. Goes for a Corner Clothesline...Finlay dodges it! Finlay hits some Right Hands to the face while Lesnar is in the corner, changing the momentum to his side. The crowd boos as Finlay lifts Lesnar up onto the turnbuckles and hits a Superplex off the second rope. Finlay slowly crawls to the cover..."1! 2! Three--no!" Lesnar kicks out and the crowd goes wild!

"An impressive Superplex off the top from Finlay! These guys are two of the best athletes on this show, J.R.!"

"No doubt about it. It's awesome to get a match like this on free television, and I expect great things to come for both of these superstars from this contest."

Both superstars get to their feet and Finlay wastes little time, applying a Headlock. Lesnar quickly battles out of it, using his strength to elbow The Fighting Irishman in the chest a few times before pushing him into the ropes. Finlay rebounds and Lesnar knees him in the chest. The crowd cheers as he follows it up with a Gutwrench Rib Breaker, lifting Finlay up with ease and slamming him back-first onto his knee. Finlay rolls on the mat, the wind having been taken out of him. Lesnar hooks the leg..."1! 2!" Finlay gets the shoulder up again. Lesnar goes for a Clothesline, but Finlay ducks it and hits a European Uppercut, causing him to stumble into the ropes. Finlay goes for a Cactus Clothesline, looking to take both Lesnar and himself out of the ring, but the Former WWE Champion thinks one step ahead, elevating Finlay over his shoulders and out of the ring to a big pop. Lesnar falls to his knees and tries to recover while Finlay is down on the outside.

"Lesnar's got the advantage! Finlay's down on the outside! Can Brock Lesnar capitalize and win this thing?!"

Commercial break

We return and the crowd is still full of excitement. Finlay has a Surfboard applied, standing on one foot while driving his other foot into Lesnar's back while pulling Lesnar's arms back. Although he tries not to show it, Lesnar is clearly in pain. The crowd claps to give him support, but it doesn't seem to work. Finlay continues to apply pressure while Lesnar continues to find a way out of the hold. In a last-minute attempt, the Former WWE Champion gets to his feet and turns toward Finlay, giving The Fighting Irishman no choice but to break the hold. The crowd pops as Lesnar pulls Finlay toward him and hits a High Lifting Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Both superstars fall to the mat and it's noticeably obvious that the match has taken a toll on them.

"Never in my life have I seen such a competitive match between two outstanding superstars. Like them or not, both of these guys are extremely talented."

"It looks like these guys have taken each other to the limit, J.R. What's it gonna take to actually put an end to this match?"

Slowly, both superstars get to their feet and Lesnar connects with a powerful Clothesline, flipping Finlay over backwards. Looking to finish the match, he goes for a Powerbomb, but Finlay reverses it and lands on his feet. He kicks Lesnar in the knee and rebounds off the ropes, hitting a Chop Block to the back of the knee that he just kicked. Lesnar falls to the mat in pain and the crowd boos as Finlay stomps away at the knee. He grabs both legs and applies a High-Angle Boston Crab in the center of the ring. Lesnar yells in pain, coming so close to tapping out. He seems to pass out for a moment, but then with a look of determination on his face, drags himself to the ropes. He gets both hands on the bottom rope and the Referee forces Finlay to break the hold.

"How much effort did it take for Brock Lesnar to not tap out there? Finlay worked on the leg and applied that devasting Submission, and somehow, someway, Brock Lesnar willed himself to the ropes and saved the matchup."

"I do not believe the intensity we are seeing out of both of these guys here! This is a Match of the Year Candidate!"

Finlay stands behind Lesnar as he gets to his feet. The crowd realizes that Finlay is setting Lesnar up for the Celtic Cross, a move that will surely put an end to the match. Dazed, Lesnar gets to his feet and turns around. CELTIC CROSS! Finlay gets the cover..."1! 2! Three--no!" Lesnar kicks out! Lesnar kicks out! The crowd goes crazy with excitement! Finlay looks up in disbelief and the Referee tells him that it was - in fact - a three count. He gets to his feet slowly and looks around, having no idea what else to do.

"You've gotta be kidding me! Lesnar just kicked out of that Celtic Cross! Finlay doesn't believe! The fans dont' believe! H*ll, I don't believe it!"

Finlay exits the ring and gets a steel chair. The crowd boos as he slams it shut and smiles. Lesnar lays in the ring, helpless as Finlay re-enters it. The Referee tries to get the chair from Finlay, but ends up getting pushed to the mat in the process. Finlay raises the chair high above his head.

"Come on Finlay! Don't do this! The man's helpless!"

"This ain't gonna end well!"

Finlay slams the chair down, but Lesnar dodges it! The crowd goes nuts and Finlay seems shocked! Lesnar rolls to corner and uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet. Finlay goes for a Spear in the corner, but Lesnar dodges it causing Finlay to Spear the ring post! Lesnar goes for the F-5! He's got Finlay up there! OH! Lesnar's knee gives out and he falls to his good knee, dropping Finlay in the process. Finlay grabs the chair again, and the Referee gets to his feet. He pulls the chair away from Finlay! The Referee throws the chair out of the ring! LOW BLOW FROM LESNAR! Can he do it? F-5 CONNECTS! Lesnar falls to the mat...crawls toward the cover! He's got it! "1! 2! 3!"

Winner: Brock Lesnar

"My God he did it! Brock Lesnar overcame the odds and pinned Finlay!"

"J.R. it's a shame that Finlay had to resort to the steel chair, but nonetheless, that was one of the greatest matches I've ever seen!"

"My God after a match like that what else can we expect to see here tonight?!"

Commercial break

We return after a blockbuster match to find the Smackdown General Manager Vickie Guerrero standing in the ring. She gets major heat from the crowd as she stands with a microphone, looking like she's ready to speak. "Excuse me!" Boos fill the arena as the crowd does anything but "excuse her". "I said excuse me!" Same response. "The problem with you people is that you don't show me any respect!!" Vickie screams as if she was throwing a tantrum. "Each and every one of you should be ashamed of yourselves!! After everything I have done for this show, you think I'd get at least a thank you, but no!! Vince McMahon can't fire me!!" The crowd boos immensely. "He can't fire me because I quit!!" The crowd pops huge as Vickie Guerrero - seemingly upset - throws the microphone to the mat and exits the ring.

"Well, we had expected for Mr. McMahon to fire Vickie Guerrero, but I guess you could say she saved him the trouble."

"Vickie Guerrero just quit her job as the General Manager of Smackdown!"

"Well, we're just about ready to crown another General Manager with this 15-Man Battle Royal!"

Kurt Angle

Boos fill the arena as The Olympic Gold Medalist and the leader of the United Nations makes his way into the arena. He’s dressed in his usual ring attire and the crowd despises him. He taunts on the ramp, extending his arms and pointing to the sky as tons of red, white, and blue fireworks explode across the stage.

"Kurt Angle? I didn't expect him to be competing in this contest, Tazz."

"Kurt Angle told me earlier tonight that he was gonna win the Battle Royal and become the new General Manager of Smackdown."

"That's all we need. Tazz, could you imagine if Kurt Angle was the General Manager of Friday Night Smackdown? The United Nations would be the most powerful Faction in Smackdown History."

"I agree, J.R. Kurt Angle's talented, but with the way he's been acting recently, I don't think he deserves to be the General Manager."

"Well ladies and gentlemen, when we return, we're gonna crown a new Smackdown General Manager! The 15-Man Battle Royal is next!"

Kofi Kingston

The crowd pops and the excitement level in the arena multiplies as The Jamican Superstar makes his way into the arena, sporting his newly acquired WWE Intercontinental Championship Belt. He high-fives a bunch of fans as he makes his way to the ring. He enters the ring and stands with thirteen other competitors as they wait for the final entrant to make his way to the ring.

"It'd be interesting if Kofi Kingston won the Battle Royal, eh Tazz?"

"Yeah man I bet Kofi would bring a lot of the energy to the table if he was running Smackdown."

"I have no idea who the fifteenth competitor is, but whoever it is, I'm sure he wants to win the match just as badly as the rest of those guys in the ring."

Triple H

The Game enters the arena to a standing ovation. Green and blue lights flash throughout the arena as he stands on the stage holding an ice cold bottle of water. He takes a swig of the water and raises his head, spitting it into the air as it rains down around him. He walks down the ramp, keeping his eyes on the ring, and the crowd continues to cheer. Fans extend their hands for high fives and many of them get one. He walks around to the right side of the ring and takes another swig of water. He throws the water bottle into the crowd and ascends to the ring apron. Once again, he spits the water into the air and it rains down around him. He steps into the ring and the crowd cheers as he climbs to the top turnbuckle and flexes his muscles. He steps down, looking confident.

"It's The Game! Triple H is the fifteenth entrant in this match, Tazz!"

"No way! Triple H is gonna try to become the Smackdown General Manager! What a match this is gonna be!"

Kung Fu Naki

Match: The crowd goes wild as the match gets underway, but not anything like they were minutes ago when Brock Lesnar and Finlay faced-off. All fifteen superstars brawl inside the ring. Cody Rhodes and Curt Hawkins corner The Game in the corner and fire away with some Right Hands. The crowd boos as this, but those boos turn to cheers when The Game blocks a punch and starts to battle back with Right Hands of his own, hitting Rhodes and Hawkins consecutively. Rhodes runs toward him and he grabs Rhodes' head, throwing him over the top rope. The young superstar holds on, though, preventing himself from being eliminated. Hawkins tries a Clothesline but The Game ducks it and hits a Reverse Neckbreaker.

Scotty Goldman hits a Dropkick on Kenny Dykstra, sending him into the ropes. He tries to eliminate him with a Clothesline, but Dykstra ducks and pulls down the ropes, sending Goldman over them and getting the first elimination of the match. Jesse hits Dykstra with some Right Hands. He grabs him and Irish Whips him toward Festus, who catches the Former Tag Team Champion with a Flapjack Slam. The crowd cheers a bit. Kurt Angle hits an Angle Slam on Kung Fu Naki and eliminates him.

Jimmy Wang Yang goes to the top rope and tries a Moonsault on Angle, but The Olympic Gold Medalist catches him and hits a Powerslam. Angle applies an Ankle Lock on Yang and he yells in pain. Shad stands behind Angle and waits. Angle releases the hold and turns around to receive a Big Boot from the 6'2' Tag Team Champion to a big pop. Triple H hits a Spinebuster on Sammy Lee and throws him over the top rope.

"Three eliminations so far, and Triple H, Kurt Angle, and Kofi Kingston are still in this thing. Undoubtabely the three biggest superstars in this match, but one's gotta wonder how long they'll be able to stay in this."

Kofi Kingston hits Dykstra with some Jamaican Chops. Dykstra tries a Forearm Smash, but Kingston leaps over him. and hits another Jamaican Chop, this time taking Dykstra down. Kofi rebounds off the ropes...BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Leg Drop! Kofi gets to his feet and tries to eliminate Dykstra, but Angle grabs him and throws him over the top rope. The crowd boos as Angle taunts in the center of the ring.

"Kofi's outta this, J.R. Apparently he's not gonna become the Smackdown General Manager any time soon."

Ryan Braddock hits a Suplex on Yang. He stomps away at Yang's chest for a minute before Triple H throws him over the top rope, eliminating him. Braddock pounds his fists on the ring apron and The Game smiles. Kenny Dykstra tries to eliminate The Game from behind, but Triple H sees it coming and elevates him over his shoulders and out of the ring.

"Triple H is on a roll here! I still can't believe that he's in this match, but how great would it be if The Game won this?"

Kurt Angle hits an Angle Slam on Jesse and eliminates him. This angers Festus, who takes Angle down with a Clothesline. He hits a Military Press Slam on The Olympic Champion and receives a big pop for it. Festus tries to eliminate Angle, but Hawkins and Rhodes come up from behind. They flip both Angle and Festus over the top rope, but Angle manages to hold on while Festus actually gets eliminated.

"Thanks for comin, guys!"

JTG and Shad hit a Double DDT on Yang. Shad throws Yang over the top rope and JTG takes advantage of the situation, eliminating his own Tag Team Partner. Shad looks at JTG from outside the ring, surprised, but JTG explains that it's every man for himself. Shad barely has time to start walking up the ramp as Cody Rhodes Clothesline JTG in the back of the head and over the top rope, eliminating him.

"We are down to four superstars! Either The Game, Kurt Angle, Curt Hawkins, or Cody Rhodes is going to become the new General Manager of Smackdown!"

"Things aren't lookin too good for Smackdown, J.R.! The only way this match could end well is if Triple H wins, and his chances of winning are about thirty-three percent!"

"Triple H" chants fill the arena as Hawkins, Rhodes, and Angle surround The Game, looking to work together to eliminate him. Hawkins goes for a Clothesline, but Triple H hits a Spinebuster. Angle and Rhodes begin to attack him; Rhodes holds him while Angle hits Right Hands to the face. Boos fill the arena as things don't look good for The King of Kings. Triple H gets to his feet and elbows Rhodes in the chest, sending him into the corner. He hits a Right Hand on Hawkins and begins to exchange blows with Angle. The crowd cheers like crazy as The Game starts to get back into the match. Rhodes tries to eliminate him, but The Game blocks it and eliminates Rhodes. Hawkins tries the same and suffers a similar fate.

"Oh my God! It's down to two! The Game and Kurt Angle! One of these men is gonna become the General Manager of Smackdown!"

"Triple H" chants fill the arena once again and The Game stares at Angle. Angle tries a Hammer Lock, but quickly turns it into a German Suplex. He takes down the straps and stands behind The Game, measuring him for an Angle Slam. The Game staggers to his feet...ANGLE SLAM! Boos fill the arena as Angle taunts in the center of the ring. The crowd knows that if Angle wins, Smackdown will be controlled by the United Nations, and that's not a good thing. Angle gets The Game to his feet and tries to throw him over the top rope, but The Game hangs on, landing on the ring apron. Angle tries a Right Hand, but Triple H ducks it and hits a Shoulder Thrust, sending Angle back a few steps.

John Cena

The crowd goes wild as Cena's music hits. Angle looks around - completely shocked - and The Game tries to keep his balance on the ring apron. Cena emerges on the stage dressed in street clothes. There is a steel chair in his hand and he stares at Angle.

"It's John Cena! Look at Kurt Angle's face!"

Angle realizes that he needs to keep his focus and runs toward The Game, still on the ring apron, but Triple H pulls the ring apron down and Angle runs right over the top rope.

Winner [and the new General Manager of Smackdown]: Triple H

"J.R., Triple H won! The Game is the new General Manager of Smackdown!"

Angle stands ringside with a look of complete disbelief on his face. The Game smiles on the ring apron as Cena begins walking down the ramp. Angle tries to jump over the ringside barricade, but Triple H grabs him and throws him up the ramp a bit. He gets to his feet and Cena approaches him. The crowd goes wild as Cena blasts the chair over Angle's head. Angle falls to the ramp and Cena throws the chair on him. He looks at The Game for a moment and walks to the back.

"What have we seen here? John Cena just laid out Kurt Angle and The Game is the new General Manager of Smackdown!"

Commercial break

Santino Marella

"Ladies and gentlemen welcome back to Smackdown, and it's time for our Main Event. Santino Marella is going to attempt to defeat Randy Orton in an attempt to join the United Nations. The Nations got off to a good start tonight with Vladimir Kozlov and The Great Khali defeating Cryme Tyme, but after that, Brock Lesnar defeated Finlay, and as we just so moments ago, John Cena laid out Kurt Angle."

"And don't forget J.R., The Game is the new General Manager of Smackdown! We're in for some exciting Friday Nights!"

Boos fill the arena as Santino Marella emerges on the stage. He smiles brightly as he walks to the ring, dressed in his normal wrestling attire. He enters the ring and asks for a microphone. "Tonight, I am a going to defeat a Randy Orton. He is nothing more than a loser, and if there's anything I know about losers, they're not on my a level. Kurt a Angle, you might have failed tonight, but I guarantee that I will not. Next a week, I am going to be an official member of United a Nations." Santino hands the microphone to the Referee and the crowd boos.

"Well, Santino's confident. But is that his usual confidence, or will he actually pick up a victory here?"

"I don't know, but we're about to find out."

Randy Orton

“Voices” by Rev Theory begins to play throughout the arena. The crowd pops huge as The Legend Killer makes his way onto the stage. He walks to the ring, high-fiving a few fans, yet seeming reluctant to do so. He climbs the ring steps and enters the ring as the crowd continues to cheer.

"Randy Orton said last week that what Kurt Angle did was over the line, and that he was not gonna stand for it. We know that in just two nights Randy Orton will team up with Ted DiBiase and John Bradshaw Layfield to take on Kurt Angle, Vladimir Kozlov, and The Great Khali. But tonight, he's gotta defeat Santino Marella."

"That match is gonna be off the charts, J.R.! Somethin tells me this one isn't gonna be as awesome."

"Ya think?" J.R. laughs.

Main Event Match: Santino Marella vs. Randy Orton

Match: Santino yells at Orton, who gets right in his face. "You're nothing compared to a me!" Orton slaps Santino in the face to a huge pop. Santino gets angry and tries a Right Hand, but Orton blocks it. He pulls Santino forward and hits an Inverted Backbreaker. Santino quickly gets to his feet and rolls out of the ring. He walks around the outside of the ring, occasionally stretching his arms. The crowd boos. Orton tells the Referee not to bother counting and rolls out of the ring. He grabs Santino, but Santino hits him with a Right Hand and rolls back in the ring, smiling. He tells the Referee to count Orton out. "1! 2! 3! 4!" Orton gets to his feet and slides into the ring. Santino runs toward him and hits him with an elbow to the back. Santino with the cover..."1!" Orton kicks out quickly. Santino pulls him to his feet and tries a Swinging Neckbreaker. Orton pushes him toward the ropes and the crowd cheers. RKO! Orton hits it! Hooks the legs..."1! 2! 3!" and this one's over.

Winner: Randy Orton

"How do you think Kurt Angle feels about that, Tazz? You think he was impressed?"

"I tell ya, J.R. I expected Santino to lose, but I didn't expect him to lose that quickly."

Kozlov and Khali begin to make their way to the ring. Orton turns his attention toward the stage as they do so. He motions for them to come and fight, and they don't seem to back down. As they reach the ringside area, Santino hits a Low Blow on Orton and the crowd boos. Orton falls to his knees as Khali and Kozlov enter the ring. Kozlov pulls Orton to his feet and hits an Iron Curtain Chokeslam. He taunts in the middle of the ring to huge heat. Ted DiBiase and JBL waste little time, running to the ring. They begin to brawl with Kozlov, Khali, and Santino. JBL takes Santino out with a Clothesline From H*ll. DiBiase fires away at Kozlov with Right Hands and JBL soon assists him, taking the fight to Khali. Soon enough, Finlay runs to the ring through the crowd and joins in on the attack.

"My God! It's complete chaos here!"

Lesnar runs to the ring momentarily as well, and he, JBL and DiBiase brawl inside and outside of the ring with Kozlov, Khali, and Finlay. The crowd cheers huge as the brawl continues.

Interesting though I expected some diva focus.

Why? It makes no sense to include the Divas here. I'm hyping Extreme Rules in this final episode, and the Divas have no part in that.

I'm going to be making the Night of Champions Logo soon and I'll show it to you guys. I've already got some of the matches planned out for it, and it should be an exciting show.
