Synchronized
f[I am going to try to make the review more interesting by speaking in a manner similar to the way a color commentator does. If you don't like this way of writing, please let me know once you read the episode and I will return to writing it the way I usually do.
Columbus - Ohio Bursts of red fireworks explode across the stage as the crowd of eighteen thousand, five-hundred and fifty-one stand on their feet in excitement, awaiting the start of the show. ”Welcome everyone to The Longest Running Episonic Television show in history! Welcome…to Monday Night Raw! I’m Michael Cole alongside my Broadcast Colleague, Jerry “The King” Lawler, and we are live in Columbus, Ohio!” "We are just one week away from what looks to be a huge Pay-Per-View in Judgment Day! Judgment Day is live from Denver, Colorado, and you can bet that it's going to be a great show!" "There's no doubt in anyone's mind that Judgment Day is going to appeal to tons and tons of people! But before we get to Judgment Day, we've gotta get through tonight!" "The General Manager of Raw, Mick Foley, has promised to make a big announcement tonight regarding Edge and Judgment Day! This is just four days removed from Edge's - some would call controversial - victory over Matt Hardy this past week on WWE Superstars!" "Matt Hardy wanted more than anything else to avenge his brother, but he ended up on the losing end of the match after Edge hit a Spear! Before that, though, Edge did expose the turnbuckle pad, and while the Referee went to repair it, The Ultimate Opportunist hit Matt Hardy with a Low Blow Kick, ultimately bringing the match to an end." The Miz It looks like we're ready to start off a big night with a possibly up and coming superstar in The Miz. The Chick Magnet strides confidently to the ring, making mocking faces at a couple of disappointed fans in the front row. The fans respond with boos, but The Miz shakes them off and smiles before entering the ring. He climbs the turnbuckle and crosses his arms on his chest before raising them in the air and taunting as the crowd continues to boo. "Well, speaking of WWE Superstars, The Miz attempted to defeat R Truth and "prove his superiority", but it was The Hip-Hop Superstar that was victorious on that night, thanks to a Scissors Kick." "The Miz has challenged R Truth to a match here tonight, and he says that he's going to put an end to this cherade. Let's see what happens." R Truth It's time to make some noise as Raw's Hip-Hop Superstar "skips and jumps" into the arena. "What's up Colombus?!" Truth shouts as he makes his way to the ring through the crowd, high-fiving a few lucky fans and allowing some fans to shout "What's Up?!" into the microphone. He seems confident, to say the least. Then again, he did defeat The Miz on Superstars, so maybe he has a reason to be. "The Miz pinned R Truth two weeks ago on Raw, and R Truth pinned The Miz last week on Superstars. This tiebreaker match probably means a lot to both superstars, as it gives them both the chances to really show what they can do here on Raw." "Miz is arrogant; we all know that. However, he does have talent and I think that with enough time and dedication, he could make it to the Main Events here on Raw." Opening Match: The Miz vs. R Truth Match: Miz attempts to get himself fired up by shouting some insults across the ring to his opponent. Truth merely laughs at it, and motions for The Miz to make a move. The two lock-up in the center of the ring and Miz drives a knee into Truth's chest, knocking the wind out him. Determined to keep the advantage, Miz rebounds off the ropes and slams a knee into Truth's face. Miz connects with a Snap Suplex and shifts into a cover, but is only able to score a two count. The crowd cheers as R Truth gets to his feet. Miz hits Truth with a Right Hand to the back, followed by another. Miz goes for a DDT, but Truth blocks it, standing in place and hitting The Chick Magnet with some Right Hands to the chest. Truth pushes Miz into the ropes, and catches Miz on the rebound with a Jumping Heel Kick Inziguri that echoes throughout the arena to a big pop. Truth hooks the legs..."1! 2!" Miz kicks out and the crowd seems disappointed. "That kick really caught The Miz off guard; I'm a bit surprised that he was able to kick out." "Well Michael, if you're really determined to win, there's a lot you can do inside that ring. It's almost like adrenaline." R Truth his a Scoop Slam on Miz. He looks to the left, then the right, smiling, before bouncing off the ropes and leaping--dropping a knee onto Miz's chest. He tries the cover again, but Miz escapes at two. Truth tries the knee again, but gets tripped into the ropes courtesy of a Drop Toe-Hold. The Miz bounces off the ropes and leaps up, landing on Truth's back and standing there with his full body weight on The Hip-Hop Superstar. The Referee begins to count..."1! 2! 3!" The Miz breaks the hold and steps down. He bounces off the ropes as R Truth gets to his feet and hits a Lariat Clothesline. Miz tries a cover, putting pressure on the chest area of Truth, but only gets a two count. He yells at the Referee, knowing it won't do anything but probably feeling better about it at the same time. "It looks like The Miz has the advantage. If he can keep it up, this match is as good as over." "That's the thing about R Truth, King. He'll start to battle back when you least expect it." Miz drops an elbow into the chest of R Truth, then gets up and does another. He stands up again and raises his arms, yelling "What now?!" as the crowd boos. He picks Truth up and Irish Whips him into the corner. He steps back and goes for a Lariat Clothesline in the corner that he's famous for, but fails as The Hip-Hop Superstar jumps out of the corner. Miz crashes into the turnbuckle but quickly turns around to get back into the match! R Truth off the ropes with a 360 Clothesline! He looks around and smiles as his bright white teeth are revealed. The Miz starts to get to his feet, but for no reason as Truth bounces off the ropes and hits a Scissors Kick! Cover! "1! 2! 3!" Winner: R Truth R Truth smiles brightly as he looks around the ring, taking in the excitement of earning a hard-fought victory. He climbs to the rope rope and points to the fans, who respond with cheers. The crowd is really into R Truth. "R Truth picks up the win here tonight, making it 2-1 against The Miz. I guess it's been proven that R Truth is the better superstar." "I agree, Michael, but I have a feeling The Miz won't." OH! The celebration is short lived as The Chick Magnet grabs R Truth's back and throws The Hip-Hop Superstar off the turnbuckle. R Truth lands on his neck and grabs it in pain. Miz smiles, proud of what he's done, and the crowd boos. "We know what's coming next!" Miz bounces off the ropes and slams a knee into Truth's face before hitting a Reverse Neckbreaker, successfully executing a Reality Check. Miz raises his arms in the air and yells insults to the crowd, showing his arrogance. The crowd boos. "Well, The Miz may have lost tonight, but I don't think he's the one feeling like a loser right about now." "That Reality Check is such a high-impact move; it was lights out for R Truth." "The tie may have been broken, but this rivalry is far from over in my eyes." "Still to come tonight, a big Tag Team Contest that is certainly...interesting to say the least. Striker Boyd teams up with MVP to take on Dustin Delta and a Tag Team Partner of Delta's choosing. The thing is, Boyd and MVP are anything but friends; will the two be able to co-exist? We're gonna hear from MVP, next!" Striker Boyd & Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) vs. Dustin Delta & ??? [Tonight] MVP [up Next] Commercial break Arrogance, confidence, many of the traits that can be used to describe Jack Swagger. But perhaps one is more fitting than all the rest; foolishness. After cashing in Money in the Bank and taking the ECW Championship from The Undertaker, has Jack Swagger dug his own grave? Will The Phenom regain his ECW Championship, or will The All-American American find a way to win? Jack Swagger defends the ECW Championship against The Undertaker! Judgment Day! Live this Sunday on Pay-Per-View! "Welcome back to Monday Night Raw. I'm Todd Grisham; please welcome my guest at this time, Montel Vontavious Porter!" The crowd pops as the former United States Champion appears on the screen, smiling. He's currently dressed in street clothes, but he is scheduled to compete later tonight. "Now MVP, as I'm sure you've heard, you'll be competing in tonight's Main Event Match when you team up with Striker Boyd to take on Dustin Delta and a Tag Team Partner of Delta's choosing. I have a few questions to ask you, but the one on everybody's mind is: will you and Striker Boyd be able to co-exist?" "Let me tell you somethin, Todd." MVP takes the microphone. "I have absolutely no respect for Striker Boyd." The crowd cheers; MVP nods as he listens to the crowd for a moment. "The man's a coward that can't win a match unless he attacks someone from behind. However, I have even less respect for Dustin Delta. Now you may be wonderin', how is that possible, but it's simple. A real Champion is willing to accept any and all challengers, much like I was back when I was the United States Champion." More cheers come from the crowd, as MVP is very over with them. "Dustin's interference in that match last week was simply because he was hoping to end the match in a No Contest. He was hoping that neither Boyd nor myself would emerge victorious, and his Championship would be safe." Boos fill the arena. "But that wasn't the case, now was it, Todd? Dustin Delta screwed himself. I'm an honest man; I really am. Under normal circumstances, I would have loved to earn the Title Shot fair and square, but there are two reasons that I don't have a problem with my victory from last week." Todd shoots MVP a puzzled look; The Ballin' Superstar resumes talking. "Number one, Dustin Delta is a joke of a Champion, and I'm doin everybody a favor by takin his Championship. And number two, does anybody actually want to see Striker Boyd as the United States Champion?" "MVP" chants fill the arena; MVP smiles as Todd Grisham takes the microphone back. "Alright the next thing I have to ask you; what are your expectations heading into Judgment Day? Are you ready for the match?" Todd Grisham stands in front of the Raw TV, and hands the microphone to MVP. The Ballin' Superstar smiles once again as the crowd starts the "MVP" chant once more. "You know, Todd, there are many people that doubt me. It's not because they don't think I have what it takes to win, but because no matter what the situation, Dustin Delta always finds a way to keep his Championship. It's been nearly three months since he's won the Championship, and he continues to successfully defend it. Regardless of how dignified Delta is, he does win matches." This comment gets heat as the crowd doesn't like Delta. "I have never faced Dustin Delta one-on-one, but I know for a fact that when all is said and done, I will walk out of Judgment Day the United States Champion. Why? Because I'm (the crowd joins MVP) Ballin'!" "Speaking of Judgment Day, you're listening to the of Judgment Day, Careless Whisper by Seether!" "We extend our thanks to Seether for allowing us to use this great song!" "Will it be Jeff Hardy's time? He tried at Wrestlemania 25, he tried at Backlash, and now he gets his last chance at becoming the World Heavyweight Champion at Judgment Day!" "Jeff Hardy hasn't appeared on Raw since he was attacked at the hands of Edge, but we've been assured courtesy of Mick Foley that Jeff Hardy will appear at Judgment Day, regardless of his condition!" "Chris Jericho claims that he was unable to achieve success because he spent his time caring about the fans! Well Judgment Day is Chris Jericho's chance to prove that statement when he battles CM Punk for the WWE Championship!" "Honestly, I hope CM Punk teaches Jericho a thing or two about sportsmanship, because Jericho is way too full of himself!" "Not only does Jack Swagger have to worry about Lashley, he's gotta worry about The Deadman!" "Jack Swagger defeated The Undertaker by cashing in Money in the Bank, and The Deadman looks to regain the Championship that he never fairly lost!" "Quite possibly the most personal contest, Triple H takes on Shane McMahon in a Hardcore Match! The Game promises to make Shane pay for costing him the WWE Championship, and many people believe that The Game will live up to the promise!" "Shane McMahon almost brought Judgment Day to Triple H early this past Friday on Smackdown, but The Game managed to escape! With less than a week left, anything can happen!" "And how about this one? After a huge Triple Threat Tag Team Match last week, Mike Knox and Snitsky have earned the right to challenge The Colons for the World Tag Team Championships!" "Carlito and Primo are confident that they can win, but Mike Knox and Snitsky are as well! Who will win what is sure to be an enjoyable match?!" "MVP said it himself; he's going to walk out of Judgment Day as the United States Champion! This Championship ordeal is going to come to an end once and for all, but will MVP live up to his promise?" "I think MVP can win, but I can't help the feeling that Striker Boyd will get himself involved in the match!" Commercial break The World's Greatest Tag Team We return live to the final Raw before Judgment Day as Charlie Haas enters the arena. There's no sign of Shelton Benjamin, which is rather surprising since The World's Greatest Tag Team has reunited. The fans boo a little as Haas makes his way to the ring, but there are a few fans that cheer him. "For those of you wondering why Shelton Benjamin is not out here with Haas, both Axle Comuteza and Shelton Benjamin have been banned from ringside for this match." "That means we're going to see a fast-pased match with no interference; at least not from Benjamin or Comuteza." "Last week, there was a Triple Threat Tag Team Match - as I mentioned earlier - and it got incredible ratings from the fans. Both of these men, Charlie Haas, and his opponent Cloud White - who should be out here momentarily - put on incredible performances in that match." The crowd pops huge as the newest member of the Raw Roster runs into the arena! He smiles as he stands on the stage for a moment, looking around the arena and preparing himself for his first Singles Match in WWE. He walks quickly down the ramp, high-fiving some fans, before sliding into the ring. "What an ovation for the Raw Newcomer! We know Axle Comuteza was a huge hit with the WWE Universe, displaying some moves that some people may have never thought possible!" "The first time I saw Axle Comuteza compete was at Wrestlemania 25. I couldn't believe my eyes. That kid is one of the most athletically talented superstars I've ever seen. He's right up there with Shelton Benjamin." Second Match: Charlie Haas vs. Cloud White Match: Ding Ding! The bell rings and the match gets underway. Cloud takes Haas down with a quick Armbar, but Haas shakes it off after rolling to his feet quickly. There's a pause in the match as both superstars stare each other down, waiting to make the right move. Lock-up in the center...Haas takes White down. He drives a knee into White's back and pulls the young superstar's arms back. White struggles, in great pain, but refuses to give up when the Referee asks him if he wants to quite. The fans begin to clap, trying to support Cloud. Haas yells "Give up!", but White shakes his head and continues to deal with the pain. "That's a bad way to be this early on in the match. Charlie Haas is a skilled mat wrestler, and Cloud White is getting a first-hand look at that right now." "I was more of a power wrestler myself, but I competed against tons of mat wrestlers back in the day." Cloud starts to get to his feet, slowly turning around to face Haas. He kicks Haas in the chest, and Haas lets go of his arms. He hits some Right Hands, taking his opponent back into the ropes, before Irish Whipping him into the corner. White runs to the corner and hits a Spinning Wheel Kick right to the face of Charlie Haas to a pretty big pop. White leaps to the top turnbuckle...goes for a Moonsault! OUCH! Haas rolls out of the way and White slams into the mat. Haas quickly grabs White and hits a German Suplex! Into the cover! "1! 2! Three--no!" White rolls the shoulder up! Haas rolls, keeping his arms locked around White's waist, and hits a Hip Toss. He shifts to the front and applies a Front Headlock. The crowd boos as Haas keeps the move applies, slowly tugging at White's head to apply pressure. The newcomer refuses to give up. "No matter what Cloud does, Charlie Haas finds a way to get the momentum back on his side. This isn't good for the Raw newcomer." "If Cloud could just find the opening he needs, we might see a change in momentum here." Cloud slowly gets to his feet, as Haas keeps the hold applied. Cloud hits some Right Hands to the chest of Haas, trying to battle out of the hold. It takes a minute, but Haas lets go and tries a Suplex. Cloud lands on his feet. He runs into the ropes...SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK! Cover! "1! 2! Three--no!" Haas kicks out. White rebounds off the ropes and Dropkicks Haas in the face as he sits up. White hooks the outside leg..."1! 2!" Haas kicks out again. The crowd boos as Cloud gets to his feet and a look of frustration forms on his face. He picks Haas up and goes for a DDT, but Haas lifts him up and throws him forward, causing him to slam into the mat. Haas starts to lock in the Haas of Pain. The Colons theme Primo walks out onto the stage and Haas lets go of the hold and runs up to the ropes. Primo begins to walk to the ring, but stops, smiles, and walks to the back. Cloud gets to his feet and lifts Haas onto his shoulders! He backs up...SLAM! White sits down and hits a Reverse Electric Chair Drop, causing Haas to go face first into the mat! He climbs to the top rope...MOONSAULT! Hooks the legs..."1! 2! 3!" Winner: Cloud White "It's over! Cloud White just picked up a victory over Charlie Haas thanks to some assistance from Primo!" Cloud White rolls out of the ring while Haas slams his fists on the canvas, angry about losing two weeks in a row. Primo comes back out onto the ramp and high-fives Cloud before raising his arm on the ramp. "Primo, one half of the World Tag Team Champions, has just helped Cloud White defeat Charlie Haas!" "Well, The Colons did say last week that they looked forward to facing Axle Comuteza and Cloud White!" Commercial break Kylarnartia We’re back live, and “The Destroyer” Kylarnartia enters the arena. His bold strength shows as he walks to the ring, with a look that suggests he’s frustrated about something. His metallic-red pants shine from the light as he walks to the ring, and the word “Kylarnartia” is visible on both sides. The crowd boos as he steps into the ring. ”Welcome back to Raw, and it looks like we’re being graced with the presence of Kylarnartia, one of the Raw Draftees.” ”Kylanartia made his official Raw Debut last week, issuing an open challenge, but he was defeated by Mond Black, another newcomer who answered the challenge.” ”One’s gotta believe that we haven’t seen the last of Kylarnartia versus Mond Black.” ”I agree with you there, Michael. It’s likely that we’ll see the two face off in the near future; especially with the ego that Kylarnartia carries around here.” “I’m outraged. Just plain, flat-out, outraged.” He looks up, now holding a microphone. “I mean come on, some lucky loser with no experience picks up a victory over me? Me? Like I said last week, I was known as “The Destroyer” in FCW not because it was a cool gimmick, but because I was physically powerful enough to back it up. That’s the thing about me; I don’t lose easily. H*ll, if someone defeated me fairly, I’d have no problem being a respectful guy and even offering a handshake. But when you cheat to defeat me, you get on my bad side, and that’s the exact opposite of where you want to be. That’s exactly what Mond Black did last week. Don’t believe me? See for yourself.” He turns toward the TitanTron. LAST WEEK Kylarnartia drops an elbow on Mond. He picks Mond up and hits him with some Right Hands, causing Mond to fall back into the ropes. Kylarnartia picks Mond up for another Military Press Slam. He yells to the fans as he holds Mond above his head. Wait! Mond struggles out! Mond with a kick to the chest! Mond grabs Kylarnartia and uses his forearm to push Kylarnartia onto his knee, hitting a Backbreaker! Mond pulls him up! FLATLINER! No way! Hook of the leg! "1! 2! 3!" Winner: Mond Black "What an upset! Mond Black just overcame the odds and pinned Kylarnartia!" "I don't believe it!" The crowd is excited and they show it by cheering. Kylarnartia seems disgusted by the cheers and by the fact that he was – in his mind – screwed. He turns back toward the crowd.“You people, and the Superstars in the Locker Room may not know me yet, but I suggest that you all start to respect me. Because if you don’t, I’ll have no problem convincing you that it’s the smartest move.” A promo video plays. The crowd goes wild as the clip comes to an end and Kylarnartia turns his attention to the TitanTron once again. “Are you kidding me?!” Kylarnartia throws his microphone to the mat and exits the ring, the crowd cheering. ”I’m not quite sure what to say, really. It seems that the video we just say – promoting the return of Mr. Kennedy – has angered Kylarnartia.” ”I guess he saw it as disrespectful, Michael.” ”Well, coming up next—we saw Primo make an appearance earlier tonight, now we’re going to see his brother Carlito! Carlito vs. Manu! Next!” Carlito vs. Manu [up Next] Manu’s Theme Manu begins to make his way down as he exits the Titantron his music blaring throughout the arena carrying a smug look on his face with such a look that says “I’m gonna win this match with ease” as he continues to walk down the ramp boos from the crowd can be heard as well as “You Suck” can also be heard from the crowd but Manu simply ignores it climbing into the ring. “Well Manu is certainly quite the individual, however he hasn’t really been making a good impression to the WWE Universe that’s for sure, on the other hand things don’t seem good for his opponent.” “Well I dunno about that Cole, Manu certainly isn’t doing himself any favours by being the way he is, because you never know what will happen in a match.” Carlito’s Theme As Carlito’s theme song hits the Titantron the crowd pops as Carlito and Primo begin to walk down the ramp as Carlito continues to eat his apple. As the two World Tag Team Champions continue to make their way down the ramp the fans continue to cheer as Primo walks round to the side of the ring while Carlito gets into the ring. “Well as for Carlito, one has to wonder King how he’ll be able to handle the strength of Manu, as I stated earlier things would not appear good for most opponents especially in the case of the smaller Carlito.” “I have to agree with you there Cole, Carlito is certainly outmatched by physical strength. But with the speedyness of Carlito he may just pull out a win over Manu as anything is possible in the WWE.” After both competitors are in the ring, Manu grabs a microphone digusted at Carlito’s attitude as he speaks up. “Are you trying to mock me? Eating your apple when we’re about to fight.” Manu says this as Carlito grabs the microphone off Manu and replies. “And you know what? I spit in the face of people who don’t want to be cool!” And with that Carlito drops the microphone and spits in Manu’s face as the match begins. Match: The match begins after the bell rings as Carlito begins to get to work on Manu with a few right hands before rebounding off the rope only to receive a devastating Clothesline from Manu who grabs Carlito by his head and thrusts an uppercut knocking Carlito to the floor, which provides plenty of boos from the fans. As this is going on, Primo starts to smack the mat getting the fans to cheer for his brother as Manu picks Carlito up once more this time receiving a right hand followed by more right hands as momentum returns to the Carribean superstar. “Well at first things seemed to not be going so well for Carlito, but suddenly Carlito has gained a rush of momentum but one has got to wonder can he keep it up?” “Well as you know Cole, momentum can switch hands in a match and a momentum switch can usually end the match for an unlucky superstar.” “Well yes you’re right on that one King, but we’ve seen Carlito and Primo overcome difficult challenges in the past, so we may get a surprise from Carlito once again.” Back to the match, as Carlito builds his momentum once again he rebounds once more but this time hits a running clothesline knocking Manu backwards who also rebounds off the ropes to a thundering springboard dropkick from Carlito which is greeted by a huge pop from the crowd. With Manu on the ground Carlito taunts the crowd while Primo claps his hands in praise. Carlito then moves down to the ground, hooks the leg only for Manu to kick the leg up at one. Carlito this time lifting Manu up and irish whips Manu into the corner as Carlito runs towards the corner with a corner clothesline which misses as Manu ducks out of the way with Manu lifting up Carlito and slamming him right into the opposite corner. Manu now taunts the crowd with Carlito slumped in the corner as the crowd boos at Manu. “And this Cole is exactly what I meant by a momentum shift. With one careful reverse Manu has shifted the advantage in his favour, it’s only a matter of time til this match is over.” “That might be true King, but we saw Carlito reverse the situation earlier in this match, we can quite possibly see it happening once again.” Manu then drags Carlito by one leg towards the center as he hooks the leg. “1! 2!” But Carlito manages to get his arm up at two as Manu grabs Carlito and picks him up but while doing so Carlito slips a low blow to the groin of Manu making him fall as Carlito spins round poping the crowd once more as Primo cheers as well. “And as I said once again Carlito has managed to turn the tables by giving Manu that horrid low blow, which I can tell you hurts like crazy even for someone like Manu.” “You’re right about that Cole, I’m surprised Carlito has kept on fighting this long. But I still think that Manu has this match done and dealt with.” Manu tries to get himself back up as Carlito rebounds off the rope grabbing Manu as he starts to get up to irish whip him as Manu reverses the irish whip with Carlito rebounding for the second time only to go face first into Manu’s weight and to the floor head first. Manu grins at his triump over the carribean superstar. Manu then climbs up the turnbuckle and jumps off for a DIVING HEADBUTT! “Oh my god King, did you see that powerful Diving Headbutt. This match is all over for Carlito but he defiently put up a valiant effort on his part.” “You’re right about that Cole, but then again it was obvious from the start who would win this match but I agree Carlito put up a great match for the fans and they love him for it.” Manu feeling great with himself hooks Carlito’s leg once more. “1! 2! Thre-No!” Manu looks gobsmacked as Carlito manages to get out of the pin while Primo starts hitting the mat to once more get his brother pumped up who sends a kick to Manu’s stomach bending him over as he rebounds off the rope and hits a running knee lift followed by a running clothesline which knocks Manu down to the mat as Carlito smirks with a grin on his face. “Wow, just wow King. Carlito has stunned everyone for the third time in this match, but can he capitlize on this massive comeback against the powerful Manu.” “After what I’ve seen in this match so far my thoughts have changed. I think Carlito can capitlize on this and he can win this match.” “I must say King, I have to agree with your thoughts, Carlito has done amazingly well in this match and it would be outstanding to pull a win here.” Carlito brings Manu up as he slides behind him bringing his hands to the head of Manu, he then jumps up thrusting his knees into Manu’s brack just barely bringing him down for a powerful BACKSTABBER! Carlito can barely keep himself contained as the crowd pops huge at Carlito’s Backstabber and Primo claps as Carlito goes for the pin. “1! 2! 3!” Carlito taunts the fans as the bell rings and the match comes to a close. Carlito’s Theme Carlito slides out of the ring as he takes his belt with him walking away from the ring with Primo both of them holding their belts together walking up the ramp in reverse as they hold their belts up in the air getting a large pop from the crowd as they enter the titantron. “I must say, Carlito has impressed me that’s for sure. I mean I know I said my mind was changed but wow...a Backstabber to Manu who would have thought it.” “Yes what an end to a fantastic match between Carlito and Manu. I’m sure that Carlito and Primo will be soaking the win of this match up for their title defense at Judgement Day!” Commercial break ”Welcome back to The Longest Running Episonic Television Show in history; Monday Night Raw! We’ve had a big night tonight, and it’s nearly over! Right now, we’re ready for a huge Tag Team Match, and we’re gonna finish the night with an announcement from Raw General Manager Mick Foley regarding Edge and Judgment Day!” Mick Foley’s Announcement [Tonight] ”What awaits The Rated-R Superstar at Judgment Day? I can’t wait to find out!” ”One thing’s for sure; it’s not a World Championship Match!” “Ladies and gentlemen please welcome my guest at this time, Dustin Delta!” The crowd boos as Delta appears on the TitanTron, his United States Title Belt shining brightly on his shoulder. “Todd, I’m ashamed of you.” He takes the microphone. “I am the United States Champion, and I would appreciate being addressed as such. I’ll let it slide this time, though, because I’ve got bigger things on my mind than some second-rate commentator who’s not good enough to have a real commentary job.” Delta smiles as the crowd responds with heat. “So,” he says, “what did you want to ask me?” “Well, you’re scheduled to compete in a Tag Team Match in just a few minutes. Have you decided who your partner will be?” “Funny you should mention that. I’ve known who my partner was going to be since the beginning of the night. That’s why I requested this match in the first place.” He pauses. “As to who it is, you’ll have to watch just like everybody else and find out.” MVP is in his locker room, doing some stretches to prepare for his upcoming match. The door opens and Striker Boyd walks in. MVP stops stretching almost immediately and turns his attention to the man that he will soon be teaming up with. “Listen,” Boyd says “I don’t like you, and you don’t like me. We’ve established that. But you made a good point earlier when you said that even though you hate me, you hate Dustin Delta even more.” “Yeah; what’s your point?” “My point is, we need to put aside our differences for the sake of victory. Delta cost me a Title Shot last week, and that is something I refuse to let go unnoticed.” “Fine; we’ll do things your way.” MVP pushes past Boyd and walks out of his locker room. The Main Event Match is next. Commercial break It’s been years, but now it’s time once again! After a long absence, the WWE King of the Ring Pay-Per-View returns, and it returns…live! WWE Legacy Presents King of the Ring! Live on Pay-Per-View June 7, 2009! The crowd pops huge as The Ballin’ Superstar enters the arena, dressed in his usual attire, except in red.. He walks half-way down the ramp, stops, and extends one arm to each side as a stream of fire explodes from the ramp. The crowd pops once again and MVP high-fives a few fans before sliding into the ring. He bounces off the ropes, then bounces off the opposite ropes, before performing a “Ballin’!” Taunt for the crowd. ”Welcome back and it’s time for our Main Event!” ”MVP and Striker Boyd are anything but friends, but the two have agreed to work together tonight for a great purpose; defeating Dustin Delta.” ”Yeah but we still don’t know who Delta’s partner is going to be!” The crowd boos as the former United States Champion enters the arena. He doesn’t really care, though. The opinions of the fans or anyone else for that matter have never bothered him. He climbs the ring steps and enters the ring before looking at MVP for a moment, then looking at the TitanTron. ”This man Striker Boyd went one-on-one with that man, MVP, last week for the right to challenge Dustin Delta for the United States Championship at Judgment Day. Let’s take you back to last week.” LAST WEEK "MVP has wanted to get some of Boyd, but let's not forget that Striker Boyd wants to regain the United States Championship, and he has no problem going through MVP to do so." MVP looks around as Boyd gets to his knees. He smiles, looks at the crowd, and the crowd pops as they know what's coming next. MVP climbs to the second turnbuckle, jumps...DRIVE-BY KICK? No! Boyd dodges it! Boyd off the ropes for a Strikeout...MVP ducks it! MVP with the kick! Grabs Boyd's arm...can he get it?! Yes! Playmaker connects! MVP hooks the legs! "1! 2! Three--wait a minute!" Dustin Delta elbows MVP in the back of the head. The Referee signals for the bell to be rung. Winner [by Disqualification]: Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) "Dustin Delta! What the h*ll is he doing out here?!" "I have no idea, Michael! The good news is that MVP still won the match, and that means MVP will be going to Judgment Day to face Dustin Delta for the WWE United States Championship!" The crowd boos as Delta removes the U.S. Title Belt from around his waist. He stands - poised to strike - as MVP gets to his feet. SLAM! Delta blasts MVP with the Title Belt to major heat. He picks up Striker Boyd and hits a Delta Bomb before leaving the ring with the U.S. Title Belt. He walks to the stage and holds the Title high above his head. "This is ridiculous! Dustin Delta just ruined a great match by getting himself involved!" "Not only that, but he took out MVP and Striker Boyd! Has Dustin Delta made a mistake here?" The United States Champion steps into the arena. He smiles, and the crowd boos. As he walks to the ring with the United States Championship Belt on his shoulder, MVP and Striker Boyd stare at him from inside the ring. There is a microphone in his hand. He stops at the end of the ramp and turns to face the TitanTron. ”If I could choose one person to not be right about now, it’d be Dustin Delta. He’s about to step into the ring with two guys that want nothing more than to beat the living h*ll out of him.” ”I’ve said before that Delta can wrestle, but when you cost a man that’s already incredibly vicious, you pretty much eliminate the option of a wrestling match. This thing is going to be a brawl.” “People may have thought that the odds were against me. I may have even thought that myself at one point. That’s why I searched high and low around the Raw Arena until I was able to find a Tag Team Partner that would guarantee victory.” The crowd boos. “This Superstar has achieved great success in the Wrestling Industry, and I’m sure that we’re going to win this match. And MVP, in regards to what you said earlier, you won’t be leaving Judgment Day with this…” he holds up the U.S. Title Belt “…because this is my Championship. And this, is my Tag Team Partner.” ”Who’s it gonna be?” John Morrison BOO! The crowd boos as The Shaman of Sexy, perhaps the least expected choice, enters the arena. He taunts on the ramp and his fur coat blows behind him from the slow-motion effect of the camera. He stops and taunts again before walking down the ramp and stopping at the end. He looks at Delta, nods, and slides into the ring. ”John Morrison? I didn’t expect that! Delta’s right, though. Morrison could definitely help him win this match!” ”John Morrison was Drafted to Monday Night Raw in the Supplemental Draft. He made his Raw Debut last week against Rey Mysterio in a losing effort. Can Morrison get his first win on Raw tonight?” Main Event Match: Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) & Striker Boyd vs. Dustin Delta & John Morrison Match: The Referee signals for the bell and Boyd starts things off after a small argument between himself and MVP. Morrison starts for his team. Boyd goes for a Clothesline to get the match underway, but Morrison ducks and hits a knee to the chest of Boyd. He goes for a DDT, but Boyd pushes him into the ropes. Boyd ducks Morrison’s rebound and turns around to hit a Forearm Smash, taking The Shaman of Sexy to the mat. Boyd tries a cover, but only gets a one count. Delta shouts encouraging words to his Tag Team Partner while he’s safe on the Ring Apron. Boyd gets Morrison to his feet and lifts Morrison up in the air. He holds him there for a good four seconds before dropping him to the mat, executing a Vertical Suplex. ”The power of Striker Boyd is nothing short of impressive. He just held a grown man in the air for a good four seconds on strength alone.” ”Dustin Delta should start worrying, because if the match continues the way it’s going, it’s very clear who’s going to win it.” Boyd tries the cover, but somehow Morrison is able to kick out at two. Seemingly angry from the simple kickout, Boyd makes a Tag to MVP. He picks Morrison up and holds his arms behind his back while MVP kicks him in the chest. The Referee orders him out of the ring, and he does so. MVP rebounds off the ropes and knees Morrison in the face as he sits up. He tries a cover, but gets a two. MVP signals for Delta to come into the ring, but the U.S. Champion doesn’t comply. MVP applies a Reverse Headlock and the crowd begins to clap, not to give Morrison support but to support MVP while he keeps the hold locked in. The Referee asks Morrison if he wants to quit, but The Shaman of Sexy refuses. ”One of the great things about MVP is that he’s a great technical wrestler in addition to being a great brawler. He has a lot of different styles inside the ring, and that makes you a better wrestler if you ask me.” ”MVP is a former United States Champion, the longest reigning in the history of Smackdown. You know he’d love to hold that Championship again, and that might happen this Sunday when he takes on Dustin Delta at Judgment Day.” Morrison gets to his feet slowly and separates MVP’s arms, breaking the hold. He hits an Arm Toss, throwing The Ballin’ Superstar half-way across the ring while not doing much physical damage as MVP rolls right back to his feet. MVP goes for a Clothesline, but Morrison ducks. Morrison runs to his corner and makes the Tag to Delta, while MVP does the same to Boyd. The crowd actually cheers as Boyd takes Delta down with a Big Boot. Boyd hits Morrison with a Right Hand, sending him off the apron. He turns around and Delta hits a Snap DDT, taking him down and stopping any momentum he had. The crowd boos as Delta taunts before driving his knee into Boyd’s chest. He holds it there until the Referee’s count reaches four. Delta taunts once again, and MVP yells to him from the Ring Apron. ”It’s not often you see Striker Boyd taken down like that. Last week, Dustin Delta hit Boyd with a Delta Bomb, and so far the former United States Champion hasn’t had a chance to get any offense in.” Delta drags Boyd to his corner and Tags in Morrison while holding Boyd’s right leg. Morrison leaps over the ropes and drops an elbow on the chest of Boyd. Cover by Morrison…”1! 2!” Kickout! The Shaman of Sexy goes right to work on Boyd, picking him up and Irish Whipping him into the corner. Morrison goes for a Corner Clothesline, but Boyd dodges it! Morrison jumps to the second turnbuckle and goes for a Flying Body Splash, but Boyd catches him! OKLAHOMA SLAM! Can Boyd make the Tag? ”Striker Boyd needs to make the Tag to MVP right now. Otherwise, this match is as good as over.” MVP extends his arm as far as he can over the ropes as Boyd begins to crawl to the corner. ”That Oklahoma Slam was incredible, King. And I do agree that Boyd needs to make the Tag. Look how badly MVP wants in this thing!” “MVP” chants fill the arena! Boyd crawls…can he do it? Yes! Boyd makes the Tag! Morrison makes the Tag to Delta! MVP runs in the ring, as does Delta, but MVP gets the upper hand, taking Delta down with an Overhead Throw! The crowd pops! MVP gets to his feet and waits for Delta to do the same! MVP hits a Clothesline! He stares at Boyd on the apron for a moment, who nods. MVP goes to the second rope and tries a Drive-By Kick, but Delta dodges it! MVP rebounds and hits Morrison with a Right Hand, taking him off the apron! He turns around…Delta grabs him! Delta goes for a Delta Bomb! MVP’s up…wait! Striker Boyd takes Delta down with a Chop Block to the back of the leg! MVP’s picks Delta up…PLAYMAKER! Hook of the legs! “1! 2! 3!” Winners: Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) & Striker Boyd ”What a match! Is this a sign of things to come at Judgment Day?!” ”John Morrison was definitely not as successful as Delta had hoped he would be! MVP definitely has Delta’s number…will he regain the United States Title this Sunday in Chicago?!” Mick Foley theme The crowd pops huge and all four competitors are now in the ring. They turn their attention to the stage, where Mick Foley is standing with a microphone. ”Apparently Mick Foley isn’t going to wait until after a commercial break to make his announcement! We’re gonna hear whatever he has to say right now!” “Sorry to interrupt, gentlemen, but my announcements are very important to me, and I’d like to get them out of the way before I end up forgetting about them.” Foley laughs for a moment. “As you know, Judgment Day is this Sunday. The Rated-R Superstar Edge wanted a World Title Match, and I told him he couldn’t have one. However, I have decided that at Judgment Day, Edge will be competing in a Title Match. Edge says that he wants to restore prestige to the Intercontinental Championship? Well I’m going to give him the chance to when he defends it against Matt Hardy!” The crowd pops huge as Foley looks around the arena, smiling. “And, after having a nice little chat in the back with Kylarnartia, I’ve decided that at Judgment Day, Kylarnartia will battle Mond Black in a Rematch of their match on Raw last week. And finally, John Morrison, this concerns you.” Morrison looks puzzled. “At Judgment Day, in a Judgment Day Pre-Show Match, you will go one-on-one with The Ultimate Underdog, Rey Mysterio!” “Booyaka 619” blasts on the TitanTron and The Ultimate Underdog runs into the arena dressed in street clothes. The crowd pops as Mysterio stands on the stage, taking in the excitement. He walks to the middle of the ramp and points to Morrison, his opponent in just six days at Judgment Day. ”Ladies and gentlemen we’ve had a huge night! Thanks for watching! We’ll see you this Sunday at Judgment Day! Good night everybody!”

Synchronized
"Welcome to the show, Jack. I gotta be honest, you look even more ridiculous in person." The crowd pops. Swagger gets a microphone. "You know what Christian, you can have your little wisecracks, but the thing you'll never have is my ECW Championship." He holds up the Title Belt. "You see, the difference between you and I is that my whole life I've wanted to become a WWE Superstar, and I finally did so. But the thing is, I won a World Championship in less than a year, and you haven't won a World Championship here in WWE ever. You've been a WWE Superstar on and off for about ten years, and you've never won a World Championship. In my eyes, that means I'm a better athlete than you are." Boos from the crowd. "Actually Jack I think the difference between you and I is that I can have a conversation with a girl without scaring her away after fifteen seconds." The crowd laughs and Swagger seems irritated. "But I mean that's another story for another day. See, Jack, I spoke to Theodore Long and I've issued a challenge. Whoever wins the ECW Championship will defend that ECW Championship against yours truly on the ECW after Judgment Day." The crowd cheers in excitement. They like Christian, and they're glad to see him getting a Title Shot. "Jack you'd be better off not even competing at Judgment Day. Because regardless, by the Tuesday after, you won't be the ECW Champion." Swagger tries to hit Christian with the microphone, but Christian blocks it. He kicks Swagger in the chest and hits him with a DDT. The crowd pops and Christian holds the ECW Championship above his head for a moment. "Oh, I guess you've got a match coming up next. That being said, I'll go take a seat at the Ringside Table." He walks toward Swagger and waits for him to get up. Swagger does so momentarily, and Brownlee hits a Scoop Slam. Rebounds off the ropes...drops a leg! Cover! "1! 2!" The Champion kicks out! "I'm impressed! Brownlee is just takin it to the ECW Champion!" "Jack Swagger has not gotten in a single shot yet! If this keeps up, we might see a huge upset!" Brownlee rebounds off the ropes once again as Swagger sits up. He leaps over Swagger and turns around before kneeing the ECW Champion in the back. Tries a cover again..."1! 2!" Swagger kicks out again! Brownlee picks Swagger up and tries a Suplex, but the ECW Champion counters into a Suplex of his own. Swagger attacks the fallen Brownlee with Right Hands to the face, but stops when the Referee begins to count. Brownlee sits up and Swagger knees him in the face. Swagger taunts as a big grin lines his face. He turns his attention to Christian and yells "Watch this!" He picks up the newcomer and hits a Belly-to-Belly Suplex. "The ECW Champion is just toying with Brownlee now. Once that momentum shifts, there's not much you can do to get it back." "Brownlee is going to need some kind of miracle to regain the advantage in this match." Swagger picks Brownlee up and Irish Whips him into the ropes. He leans forward and goes for a Back Body Drop. Wait! Brownlee counters into a Float-Over DDT! "Wow! Brownlee just planted Swagger! This could be the momentum shift that Brownlee needed!" Christian smiles from the outside as Brownlee crawls to the cover. "1! 2! Three--no!" Swagger gets his foot on the bottom rope. Brownlee looks up in desperation, no idea what else he needs to do. Brownlee gets Swagger to his feet and Irish Whips him into the ropes. Christian gets up from his seat and the Referee turns his attention to him. Oh! Brownlee hits an Eye Poke on Swagger as he rebounds! The Referee didn't see it! INSIDE CRADLE! INSIDE CRADLE! No way! The Referee turns around! "1! 2! 3!" It's over! Brownlee pinned the ECW Champion! Swagger tries to hit Lashley with a Right Hand, but Lashley blocks it. He fires back with his own Right Hand, taking the ECW Champion to the mat. Lashley picks up Swagger and goes for a Dominator, but Devon Immortal rushes the ring and breaks the move up. He hits Lashley with a Crescent Kick, taking him down. The crowd boos immensely. "Devon Immortal? Well he was in the ring last week when Lashley returned. Maybe he and Swagger have some kind of partnership." "What's gonna go down here?" Boos fill the arena as Swagger and Immortal begin to double team Lashley. "You suck!" chants fill the arena, but Swagger and Immortal continue the assault. Big Show theme Uh-oh! Devon Immortal looks up in shock as The World's Largest Athlete. Big Show walks to the ring, keeping his eyes locked on Immortal, while high-fiving a few fans along the way. "Are we gonna see a repeat of last week?!" Theodore Long theme "Holla holla holla!" The crowd cheers. "Now look I know you guys have some issues with each otha, but I'm gonna make sure that gets taken care of next week on ECW! Here's what I'm gonna do! Right here in the Land of Extreme, next week, Jack Swagger will team up with Devon Immortal to take on The Big Show and Lashley!" "Woah! What a big match that's gonna be!" "Bobby Lashley makes his official return to the ring next week on ECW!" Long's music plays again as he walks to the back. Lashley and Big Show smile, while Swagger and Immortal don't look so happy.
Boston - Massachusetts Red fireworks explode across the stage as the next exciting edition of ECW is set to begin! "Welcome to Boston, Massachusetts! I am Todd Grisham, he's Matt Striker, and we've got a huge night ahead of us here on ECW!" "It's great to be here and Todd, I completely agree with you! We're just five days away from Judgment Day, and things are certainly heating up as we have two major Tag Team Matches scheduled for tonight!" "No doubt, Matt. First, Chris West and Zack Ryder team up to take on David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd!" Chris West & Zack Ryder vs. David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd [Tonight] "And while that's big, our Main Event Match blows that one outta the water! The All-American American Jack Swagger teams up with Devon Immortal to face Big Show and Bobby Lashley just five days before he puts the ECW Championship on the line against The Undertaker!" Jack Swagger & Devon Immortal vs. Big Show & Lashley [Tonight] "Everyone I've talked to is excited for Judgment Day; it's got a packed card, and I have great expectations for it myself!" "I'm looking forward to it, and it should be interesting to see if any Championships change hands as there are seven Championships on the line!" The Innovator of Violence enters the arena to a large ovation from the fans. The people here in ECW have always loved Dreamer, and that's not going to change even though his contract is quite close to expiring. He high-fives some fans in the front row as he walks to the ring, sporting an ECW T-Shirt. "Tommy Dreamer is often referred to as the heart and soul of ECW, and with good reason. Dreamer has been here since ECW first started, and he's always been supportive to the company." "Now we know that Tommy Dreamer's contract is expiring soon, and Dreamer claims that if he is unable to win the ECW Championship before his Contract Expires, he will retire." Dreamer enters the ring and walks around it for a moment, taking time to show his appreciation for the crowd to the crowd. His music comes to a stop as he gets a microphone. "ECW!" chants fill the arena as the former ECW Champion looks around, smiling. "You..." he laughs, taking more time to listen to the chants and the excitement of the crowd. There's no feeling like it. "Listen to the appreciation this crowd has for Tommy Dreamer, Todd. It's amazing to just sit here and take it all in." "There has never been another superstar who has earned so much respect from the ECW Fans than Tommy Dreamer. He will always be remembered as an ECW great." "You know, it's hard for me to stand here and look around at the thousands of fans sitting in the crowd here tonight. I say that because in all honesty, the thought that my career could end in less than a month and that I might never be able to experience this again is devastating. Each and every one of you in that crowd means more to me and my career than words could explain." The crowd pops huge. Throughout the years there have been plenty of people that don't like me, but I've never met a fan who hasn't shown me respect. And honestly, I don't go around asking for respect, but the fact that you all give it to me is the greatest feeling in the world. Standing here in this arena tonight is the greatest feeling in the world!" More "ECW" chants fill the arena as the crowd rises to their feet. "My contract with World Wrestling Entertainment expires on June 6. Now as I said earlier, if I am unable to win the ECW Championship by June 6, I will not re-sign with WWE. However, the thought hit me that there was no way I could win the Championship in that amount of time." The crowd gives a negative reaction. "So I spoke to Theodore Long, and I've agreed to sign a One-Day Extension on my contract. As many of you know, the King of the Ring Pay-Per-View takes place on June 7, which means it takes place on the same day that my contract expires. That being said, Theodore Long has told me that if I can win my match next week, he will give me a Title Match at King of the Ring." The crowd pops and more "ECW!" chants fill the arena. "Well there ya have it!" "Tommy Dreamer has one more shot at the ECW Championship, and that shot will come at King of the Ring as long as Dreamer wins his match next week!" "I have a feeling that King of the Ring is going to be one h*ll of a Pay-Per-View, Matt, but right now we've gotta focus on Judgment Day!" "Speaking of Judgment Day, you're listening to the of Judgment Day, Careless Whisper by Seether!" "We'd like to say thanks to Seether for allowing us to use a song that I think is fitting for this Pay-Per-View Event!" "Will it be Jeff Hardy's time? He tried at Wrestlemania 25, he tried at Backlash, and now he gets his last chance at becoming the World Heavyweight Champion at Judgment Day!" "Jeff Hardy is not one to quit! He'll keep going until he achieves his goal, and hopefully Judgment Day will be his calling card!" "Chris Jericho claims that he was unable to achieve success because he spent his time caring about the fans! Well Judgment Day is Chris Jericho's chance to prove that statement when he battles CM Punk for the WWE Championship!" "I don't like to agree with someone that is against the fans, mainly because I think the fans are the reason this business is so great, but Jericho seems to have a point. When he doesn't worry about the fans, he is able to accomplish a lot more!" "Jack Swagger won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match and cashed in two nights later to take the ECW Championship from The Undertaker, getting on The Deadman's bad side in the process." "The Undertaker was able to defeat Chris Jericho at Backlash, and now he gets the Rematch that he's been waiting for. Has Jack Swagger gone too far?" "In what is quite possibly the most personal contest on the card, Triple H takes on Shane McMahon in a Hardcore Match! The Game promises to make Shane pay for costing him the WWE Championship, and many people believe that The Game will live up to the promise!" "Shane McMahon almost brought Judgment Day to Triple H early this past Friday on Smackdown, but The Game managed to escape! With less than a week left, anything can happen!" "Carlito and Primo won the World Tag Team Championship at Wrestlemania, and this Sunday they'll defend them for the first time when they take on Mike Knox and Snitsky!" "The Brothers Colon are confident in their ability to win, but victory doesn't come easy when you're facing Mike Knox and Snitsky." "MVP said it himself; he's going to walk out of Judgment Day as the United States Champion! This Championship ordeal is going to come to an end once and for all, but will MVP live up to his promise?" "MVP pinned Dustin Delta last night on Raw after a Playmaker, leaving many to believe if this is a sign of things to come." "Mick Foley announced last night that Edge would in fact have a Championship Match at Judgment Day! But it's not the kind of Championship Match The Rated-R Superstar was hoping for! Edge has to defend his Intercontinental Championship against the man who is seeking retribution, Matt Hardy!" "Matt Hardy and Edge are not friends, they're not rivals. This is personal, and at Judgment Day, one way or another, this thing is going to come to an end." "And finally, two of the newest Raw Superstars, Kylarnartia and Mond Black, go one-on-one for the second time!" "Kylarnartia believes that Mond Black cheated to beat him, and that he isn't respected! A win at Judgment Day would definitely help him gain respect!" "We're gonna take a quick commercial, and when we return, Zack Ryder and Chris West will team up to take on David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd!" Chris West & Zack Ryder vs. David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd [up Next] We're back live and ready for some Tag Team Action! Zack Ryder steps into the arena to a big pop. He taunts on the ramp, gaining more cheers from the crowd. His blonde hair is put into a ponytail, and he is wearing his usual wrestling attire, the red "Ryder/ECW" tights and black wrestling boots. "Welcome back to ECW, and Todd I say it every week but Zack Ryder continues to accel as a Singles Competitor here in the Land of Extreme." "Last week Ryder suffered his first loss as a Singles Competitor when he took on Tyson Tomko. It was what happened after the match that led to this match we're about to see." LAST WEEK What's this? D.H. Smith and Tyson Kidd make their way to the ring as Ryder gets to his feet. The crowd boos as Smith hits Ryder with a Clothesline and the two-on-one assault begins. Kidd holds Ryder while Smith kicks him in the chest and once in the face, before throwing him to the mat. "David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd? What in the world are they doing out here?" "Apparently they have a score to settle with Zack Ryder who - might I add - pinned D.H. Smith this past Thursday on WWE Superstars." "Wait though!" The assault comes to an abrupt end as ECW Superstar Chris West rushes the ring and Smith and Kidd flee through the crowd. West helps Ryder to his feet and upon making sure that he's okay, gets a microphone. "Hey guys! You may be great at attacking someone after they've just wrestled a match, but can you handle facing someone before they compete?" Smith and Kidd stare at West from the crowd. "I tell you what, how about right here on ECW next week, the two of you team up to take on Zack Ryder and myself?" West drops the microphone and the crowd cheers as West and Ryder walk to the back. "Well that's Chris West who was recently out of action for a couple of months due to a shoulder injury, but it looks like he's back and ready to compete." "Yes, but will David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd accept the challenge?" "I guess we'll find out next week!" The crowd - and Zack Ryder - turn toward the TitanTron as Chris West's new theme, Unbreakeable by Fireflight, begins to play throughout the arena. The young superstar enters the arena, ready to compete in his first match in over three months. He gets a decent pop, which is due to the fact that he had formerly been a heel, so the fans haven't really warmed up to him yet. "Just for the record, this is Chris West's first match since February. Like Zack Ryder, Chris West was mainly a Tag Team Wrestler, but now he's decided to start wrestling on his own." "I actually spoke to Chris West earlier today and he informed me that he's fully recovered from the shoulder injury, and that it'll only be a matter of time before he's on the path to a Championship!" Tyson Kidd & David Hart Smith The fans boo as the newest Tag Team on the wrestling scene steps into the arena, Tyson Kidd with his "extreme" haircut and David Hart Smith with his pretty-much-average haircut. Ryder and West stare at them from inside the ring, and motion for them to hurry up as they want to get the match underway. "The great thing about this match is that all four of these guys are athletically gifted, so to speak. David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd are the final graduates of The Hart Family Dungeon, and they never fail to impress me. But Zack Ryder and Chris West are great, too." Opening Match: Zack Ryder & Chris "Rapidfire" West vs. David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd Match: The opening bell sounds and the match gets underway. It looks like it's going to start out as Zack Ryder taking on David Hart Smith. Ryder fires away with some Right Hands, getting himself some retribution for last week's events. He pushes David Hart Smith into the ropes, knees him in the chest, and Irish Whips him into the opposite ropes. He goes for a Back Body Drop, but Smith hits a blow to the back, followed by a knee to the face. The son of The British Bulldog hits a Right Hook to the jaw, taking Ryder to the mat. He drags Ryder to his corner and makes the Tag to Kidd, who wastes no time getting into the ring. Kidd stomps away at Ryder while Smith holds him, and Chris West watches helplessly from the ring apron, knowing there's nothing he can do to help. The Referee orders Smith out of the ring, and Smith complies. Kidd tries a cover, hoping the stomps were enough, but Ryder kicks the shoulder out at two. "Tyson Kidd and D.H. Smith know how to work as a Tag Team, and that's something that I doubt West and Ryder can do as this is the first time they've ever teamed up. The advantage in this match easily goes to Smith and Kidd, simply because of experience." "That may be true, Matt, but I've seen Ryder battle back from things a lot worse than a few stomps to the chest. Don't count him out yet." Ryder tries to crawl to his corner, but Kidd grabs his leg and pulls him backwards. He drops an elbow to the back of the neck and turns Ryder over, trying another cover. "1! 2!" The fans cheer as Ryder rolls the shoulder up. Kidd seems a bit frustrated and shouts at the Referee, but gets nothing out of it. He grabs Ryder and gets him to his feet. Ryder hits him with a surprise Right Hand, causing him to stumble a bit. The crowd pops as Ryder connects with another one, trying to build some momentum. He bounces off the ropes and tries a Clothesline, but Kidd ducks it. He wraps his arm around the back of Ryder's neck and pulls him down, driving the back of Ryder's neck into his knee. He hits the ECW Newcomer with some Right Hands, before discontinuing after four when the Referee threatens him with a Disqualification. Kidd hooks the legs, but Ryder kicks out again. "Man, Tyson Kidd is just dominating Zack Ryder. Ryder really needs to make a Tag to Chris West if there is any hope of them staying in this matchup." West begins to clap his hands on the apron, and the crowd soon joins along with him. He extends his arm and calls for a Tag, but there's no way Ryder can get to the corner. Tyson Kidd makes the Tag to Smith, who comes in and applies an Abdominal Stretch on Ryder. Ryder struggles to break free, but to no avail. Smith hits a blow to the chest, taking the air out of his opponent, before reapplying the hold, going right back to work on the abdominal area. "Ryder" chants begin to fill the arena as Chris West desperately wants in. Ryder hits a Right Hand on Smith, but it's not enough to break the hold. He hits another, and it still doesn't work. In a last-minute attempt, he puts his arm behind Smith's neck and throws him over his shoulder to a big pop. He runs toward Smith and goes for a Clothesline. Smith does the same, and both of them fall to the mat in a collision. "Zack Ryder and David Hart Smith were thinking the same thing! Which one of them can make a Tag first?!" "This is Ryder's opportunity. If he can get Chris West into the match, there's a possibility that they could win!" Ryder crawls to the corner...makes the tag! Smith makes the Tag to Kidd, and the fight is on! Chris West takes down Kidd with a quick Clothesline before hitting a Baseball Slide on Smith, sending him out of the ring and crashing to the mat below. Kidd tries a cheap shot, but West sees it coming, grabbing Kidd and hitting a Flapjack Slam onto the turnbuckle pad. He hits a High-End Spinebuster on Kidd and the crowd goes wild! Bridge Pin by West! "1! 2! Three--no!" Kidd barely gets the shoulder up. West climbs to the top rope, and David Hart Smith tries to push him down, but gets kicked in the process. The Referee turns his attention to Smith, and Ryder runs in the ring. He stops Kidd from taking West down from the turnbuckle, and drops him with an STO before rebounding off the ropes and hitting a Suicide Dive on Smith, going through the second rope in the process! West regains his balance on the turnbuckle! Kidd starts to get up...CORKSCREW OVERCASTLE! After an amazing aerial display, West hooks both legs of Kidd! "1! 2! 3!" It's over! Winners: Zack Ryder & Chris "Rapidfire" West The crowd goes wild as Ryder reenters the ring. He high-fives West, and West pats him on the shoulder before raising his arm in the air. Kidd and Smith walk to the back, seemingly angry. "What a match! It exceeded my expectations, they were high to begin with!" "Zack Ryder gaining retribution thanks to Chris West, who - as you said earlier - has made a full recovery!" "And still to come tonight, our Main Event Match! Jack Swagger teams up with Devon Immortal to take on the Big Show and Bobby Lashley! Will Swagger's Judgment Day come early?" Jack Swagger & Devon Immortal vs. Big Show & Lashley [Tonight] Commercial break Many people succeed, and many people fail. Those who fail, tend to give up. Jeff Hardy, is not one of those people. After many failed attempts, Jeff Hardy looks to finally realize his dream of becoming World Champion! But to do it, he has to defeat The Big Red Machine! The Extreme Enigma Jeff Hardy battles The Big Red Machine Kane for the World Heavyweight Championship! Judgment Day! Live this Sunday on Pay-Per-View! Evan Bourne We return and the crowd goes wild as one half of the ECW Tag Team Champions, Evan Bourne, runs into the arena with his Championship Belt around his waist. He is wearing metallic blue pants and he walks to the ring, high-fiving a few fans in the process. "Evan "Air" Bourne is out here tonight without his Tag Team Partner Ren, who - we have just learned - will make his official in-ring return next week on ECW! But tonight, Evan Bourne looks to win a Singles Match of his own!" William Regal BOO! The crowd boos as the Heat World Champion steps into the arena, the Heat World Title around his waist. He is wearing a robe with the design of a british flag, and black wrestling tights underneath. He looks angry, yet determined as he walks to the ring, holding a microphone. "This man William Regal is a World Champion, and the most recent King of the Ring. Regal won the King of the Ring "title" on Raw last year, but this year he'll have the chance to win it once again at the King of the Ring Pay-Per-View, which takes place on June 7th! Tonight, Evan Bourne has a big challenge on his hands." "Cut my music," Regal says, signs of anger in his voice. Then again, he always sounds angry, so it's more like his normal voice. "I came out here two weeks ago and said that I demanded your respect, and I've yet to earn it. Evan Bourne," he turns his attention to the high-flyer, "I've seen you compete, and I know that you're a decent competitor, but you do not have what it takes to defeat me. I am a World Champion, and like it or not, I will only continue to achieve success." The crowd boos as Regal drops the microphone. He enters the ring and takes off his robe before turning his attention to Evan Bourne once again. Second Match: Evan Bourne vs. William Regal Match: Regal goes for a Clothesline, but Bourne ducks it to a small pop. He leaps as Regal turns around and hits a Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissor Takedown on the Englishman, taking a moment afterwards to taunt. Bourne leaps and goes for a Knee Drop, but Regal dodges it. The Champion hits a Right Hand, followed by a Forearm Smash, taking Bourne to the mat. He takes a moment to taunt, rubbing it in the crowd's faces that he just took down one of their favorites. He tries a cover..."1! 2!" to no avail. Regal Irish Whips Bourne into the corner. He goes for a Corner Clothesline, but Bourne leaps up, causing Regal to run into the corner! Bourne hits a Sunset Flip Pin! "1! 2! 3!" Winner: Evan Bourne "What?! That's it?! You gotta be kidding me!" Bourne rolls out of the ring, crazily excited about his complete upset victory, while Regal seems disbelieving inside the ring. "What an upset! Can we get a time? How long was the match?" "I'm being told that was about one minute and twenty seconds. I don't believe this; William Regal came out and talked about respect and just got pinned in less than two minutes!" "Look at the look on Regal's face! He doesn't believe it either!" Regal slams the mat in anger as Bourne walks up the ramp, high-fiving some fans. He stops at the end of the ramp and holds his Title above his head while a furious Regal watches on. "Well, coming up next, it's time for our Main Event! Jack Swagger and Devon Immortal battle Big Show and Lashley...next!" Jack Swagger & Devon Immortal vs. Big Show & Lashley [up Next] Commercial break "Welcome back and wow--I'm still amazed at what took place before the break. Evan Bourne just pinned William Regal in one minute and twenty seconds. I don't think I've ever seen someone like Regal lose a match that quickly." "The reaction on Regal's face after the match suggests that he wasn't happy, but Bourne did earn a fair victory; there was no cheating involved." "Well you can't argue with the facts, and what you just said is complete fact. Still, though, Evan Bourne and Regal aren't done; I can guarantee that." Jack Swagger The All-American American enters the arena to massive heat. The ECW Championship that he "stole" from The Undertaker is around his waist, shining brightly as he walks to the ring. The crowd boos and many "Anti-Swagger" signs are shown in the crowd. "Let's talk about Jack Swagger for a moment. Now, I have nothing but respect for the guy--he's a two-time All American Athlete, and he knows how to achieve victory in the ring, but how foolish can one person be? What in your right mind would make you cash in your Money in the Bank Briefcase against The Undertaker? I don't care if it's a World Title or not; by doing that, you're basically wasting your Title Match." "The Undertaker has been known to strike back with a vengeance. I mean, a couple of years ago Edge cashed in Money in the Bank against The Undertaker, and he definitely paid for it. I agree with you, Matt. If I was an athlete, I certainly wouldn't do that." "Well, that's a silly statement, Todd. The chances of you making it as an athlete are about the same as some member of the crowd stepping into the ring with the Big Show and leaving concious. That's beside the point, though. Not only does Jack Swagger have to defend the Title against The Undertaker at Judgment Day, if he does manage to win, he has to defend it against Christian next week on ECW. And, if he somehow wins that one, he might have to defend it against Tommy Dreamer at King of the Ring. The odds are not in Swagger's favor." Immortal enters the arena with a blank-ish look on his face. He receives more boos than Swagger by far. It doesn't bother him, though. He's the youngest World Champion in history, and all he cares about is the success of his own career. "Devon Immortal is an interesting addition to the ECW Roster to say the least. I don't think Devon's an extreme athlete at all. Rather a technical wrestler that sort of picks a part of his opponent and works on it until he is able to gain complete control." "We know Devon Immortal aligned himself with Randy Orton for a while on Raw, and while doing so it seems Immortal picked up some of Orton's characteristics." Big Show The crowd pops huge as The World's Largest Athlete walks into the arena, some perhaps taken aback by his massive size. He raises his arm in the air on the ramp and yells to another big pop. He walks to the ring, keeping his eyes on Immortal and Swagger while doing so. "The 500-Pound 7 foot giant known as The Big Show is quite honestly...a big problem for those two men here tonight. Pun intended or not, Big Show has proven his dominance week after week, and both Swagger and Immortal know what he's capable of." "Big Show has the fans behind him and another incredibly powerful superstar in his corner. The odds are - without a doubt - in their favor." Lashley Now it's time for the moment we've been waiting for! Lashley makes his way into the arena and the crowd goes nuts. He stands on the ramp and taunts as sparks emerge from the ramp and hit him in an "X" formation. He shakes it off and walks down the ramp, high-fiving some fans while keeping his eyes on his opponents in a manner similar to Big Show's actions moments ago. "It's been over a year since Lashley's competed in the WWE, and over two years since he's competed on ECW! Lashley is the only superstar in the history of wrestling to hold the ECW Championship twice, and one's gotta believe that he's looking to win a third time in the near future." "You've been in the ring with Lashley before, haven't you, Matt? How'd that one work out?" "That's an experience I'd never like to re-live, Todd. Lashley is a beast." Main Event Match: Jack Swagger & Devon Immortal vs. Big Show & Lashley Match: Immortal and Swagger literally argue with each other about who's going to go in first. But not in a good way, meaning neither superstar wants to start the match, but there's nothing they can do about it. Immortal tells Swagger that he's going to start the match, and he does so reluctantly. Big Show offers to start for his side, and Lashley exits to the ring apron. The bell rings, and Swagger turns around and Tags Immortal on the shoulder, forcing him to become the legal man. The crowd cheers as Immortal steps into the ring and stares at Big Show. He tries to Tag Swagger back in, but The All-American American - one step ahead - steps down from the apron. Immortal rolls his eyes and tries a Clothesline on Big Show, but gets overpowered with a Forearm Smash and falls to the mat. Big Show places his foot on Immortal's chest and smiles. He steps on Immortal, putting all of his weight on him in the process. The crowd cheers as Immortal cringes in pain. "Welcome to ECW, Devon! This is Immortal's Debut Match here in the Land of Extreme, and I have a feeling this is not how he wanted it to go." "What was your first clue, Matt?" "It was either the fact that he's in immense pain or that he has to step into the ring with the man that he attacked a few weeks ago. Both Immortal and Swagger have pretty much gotten off to a bad start; Immortal attacks Big Show, and Swagger screws The Undertaker. I don't understand why these people think what they're doing is a good idea." Swagger shouts some insults as Big Show from the ring apron, but The World's Largest Athlete laughs them off. He picks up Immortal by the throat and throws him into the corner. The crowd quiets down as Show looks around before saying "Shh!" and delivering a Slap to Immortal's chest so loud it could've made the arena shake. The youngest World Champion in history falls to the mat, grasping his chest in pain. Big Show looks at Lashley, who asks for a Tag. He drags Immortal to the corner with ease and makes the Tag. Lashley steps into the ring and stomps Immortal's chest a few times. He picks Immortal up and Irish Whips him into the corner, hitting a few Shoulder Thrusts. Lashley backs up and tries a Corner Clothesline, but Immortal sticks his feet out, getting a moment to breathe as Lashley recovers. Immortal hits a Right Hand to Lashley, and gets blasted with a Clothesline seconds later. "Any hope Swagger and Immortal had of winning continues to go down the drain as this match progresses." "Lashley hasn't gained any ring rust during his time away--we're seeing that now." Lashley goes for a Vertical Suplex, but Immortal resists and hits a Right Hand. He hits a Spinning Neckbreaker, taking Lashley to the mat. Immortal tries a cover, but Lashley kicks out, throwing Immortal off of him and halfway across the ring in the process. This - unfortunately - puts Immortal close enough to Swagger to make a Tag. Swagger reluctantly accepts and comes in the ring. Lashley goes for a Spear, but Swagger dodges it and Lashley Spears the Ring Post. The crowd boos as Swagger runs up to Lashley and begins to assault him with blows to the back. Lashley falls down in the corner and Swagger “stomps a mudhole” on him. Swagger gets major heat from the crowd as a big grin lines his face. Big Show seems frustrated and tries to support Lashley. Swagger backs up and runs to hit a Running Knee to a sitting Lashley, but Lashley leaps out of the corner and blasts Swagger with a Spear! The crowd goes wild! Lashley hooks the leg! “1! 2! Three—no!” Devon Immortal breaks up the count! ”Wow! That would’ve done it! Devon Immortal just saved the match for his team!” ”Lashley can strike with that Spear when you least expect it, and that’s something that Jack Swagger just learned!” Big Show enters the ring and Devon Immortal quickly slides out of it. The Referee orders Big Show out of the ring and Immortal slides back into attack Lashley. He hits Lashley with Right Hands before kicking him in the side of his chest, taking him down. Immortal escapes to the ring apron and Swagger makes the Tag. Immortal comes in and tries a cover on Lashley, but only gets a two count. Immortal goes for his finisher – The Immortal Technique – but Lashley powers out, hitting Immortal with a Back Body Drop. Lashley runs and makes the Tag to Big Show, which causes Immortal to make the Tag to Swagger. Swagger runs in and Big Show takes him down with a Clothesline. Swagger gets to his feet quickly and backs up. The lights go out momentarily and when they come back on, Swagger looks petrified inside the ring. Swagger leans against the ropes and looks around the arena, while Big Show smiles and comes up behind him. Swagger turns around and Big Show catches him with a Chokeslam. “1! 2! 3!” Winner: Lashley & Big Show ”It’s over! But where is The Undertaker?! Jack Swagger looks absolutely petrified! The Undertaker may not be out here, but he sent a clear message to The All-American American!” ”Good night, ladies and gentlemen! Thanks for watching, and we’ll see you this Sunday at Judgment Day!”
