Albany - New York

Red fireworks explode across the stage as the next exciting of ECW is set to

begin!

"Good evening everybody and welcome to E C W! I'm Todd Grisham alongside Matt Striker, and we're live in Albany, New York!"

"A very excited crowd here tonight; that's for sure. I can't blame them, though! We're just five days away from Backlash!"

"Backlash certainly shaping up to be a great Pay-Per-View Event! We're going to see a Backlash Preview of sorts tonight when The Undertaker steps into the ring with Dolph Ziggler! That's right, it's Dolph Ziggler's final ECW match before he heads off to Smackdown!"

The Undertaker vs. Dolph Ziggler [Tonight]

"Ladies and gentlemen, for those of you that aren't sure, the Draft takes effect after Backlash, meaning that starting this Monday on Raw, all of the WWE superstars will be competing exclusively on their respective brands!"

"I mentioned The Undertaker moments ago, and I wanted to add that The Deadman's match with Chris Jericho is expected to draw in huge ratings. Many people are looking forward to this Wrestlemania Rematch. Some people are even saying that it could be the best match of the night."

"Well, it certainly has the potential. Chris Jericho has been on quite a roll lately; defeating Vladimir Kozlov last Tuesday on ECW and defeating John Morrison this past Friday on Smackdown! The question is--can Chris Jericho defeat The Phenom? In my personal opinion, I say no. I mean, I have tons of respect for Chris Jericho, but The Deadman is determined to regain the ECW Championship that he lost - some would say - unfairly. At least Chris Jericho lost his in a fair fight."

"Definitely a match I'm looking forward to seeing. I think it could go either way."

Edge theme

The crowd boos as we're "treated" to a surprise visit from The Rated-R Superstar. He stands on the ramp - dressed in street clothes - and raises the Intercontinental Championship Belt high above his head. Pyro explodes in a line across the stage. Edge lays the Championship over his shoulder and walks to the ring, pausing to look at the crowd a couple of times.

"Well this is a surprise! It's not often The Rated-R Superstar makes his way to the Land of Extreme."

"For once I agree with you. I'm not complaining, though. Edge is one-hundred percent awesome. One of the best athletes in the business today."

"The man knows an opportunity when he sees one--that's for sure. They don't call him The Ultimate Opportunist for nothing."

"You'll notice Edge has that Intercontinental Championship with him. He won the belt on Raw in a match with Chandler Emerald, and he hasn't lost it since. Edge claims that he wants to restore prestige to the once-legendary Championship."

"Well, so far he's done exactly that. Edge has picked up victories over CM Punk, John Cena, and others in recent weeks. He was Drafted to Raw a couple of weeks ago in the Draft, and he took the Intercontinental Championship with him."

"Edge's wife, Vickie Guerrero, is the Smackdown General Manager still, and she will not be joining him on Raw. Edge is going to have to try

harder now that he doesn't have his wife to make things a little bit easier.

for him. Still--Edge doesn't need Vickie Guerrero to win matches."

Edge gets a microphone and looks around the arena. He smiles. The crowd's

negative responses don't bother him. What's important to him is Edge. And

that's it.

"Yeah you go right ahead and boo me!" This just brings more boos. "Go right

the h*ll ahead! Because the reason all of you boo me is that I'm better than

each and every one of you! It's true! You all deny it now; you sit here and

boo me because I'm "the bad guy", but in reality you do it because you're all

jealous of me! You're jealous of the fact that I am a six-time World

Champion, and a seven-time Intercontinental Champion! Every time I step into

the ring, I do exactly what I say I'm going to do. I win. I seize every

opporunity that I can, and I always come out on top. So there's a reason I

came out here. And it's a pretty simple one. I'm going to go to Backlash

and win that Battle Royal. Then, I'm going to go to Judgment Day and defeat

either Kane or Jeff Hardy and become the World Heavyweight Champion!" The

crowd continues to boo. "I am still going to bring honor to this." He holds

up the Intercontinental Championship Belt. "I like to consider myself the

best in this business. There aren't many..."

Zack Ryder enters the arena to a small pop, but that could be because the

fans were tired of listening to Edge praise himself. Edge gives Ryder a

confused look. What is he doing out here, interrupting Edge's moment? Ryder

smiles, sporting the red pants with "Ryder" on the each leg and "ECW" on the

back that he "debuted" last week and a black "Backlash" T-Shirt. He walks to

the ring and gets a microphone.

"Well this is interesting. Zack Ryder is a former associate, if

you will, of Edge's. Ryder was Drafted to ECW in the WWE Draft, and he did

have a successful debut, but what's he doing out here now?"

"How's it goin, Edge? A bit ironic that I chose to interrupt you and

everything, I know, but the team we had in the past is just that--in the

past." Edge's confused look remains as The Rated-R Superstar tries to figure

out what's going on. "I'm going to make a name for myself as a Singles

Competitor. There's no better place to do it then right here in ECW if you

ask me. But enough small talk. You mentioned the Battle Royal at Backlash.

I've got a news flash for you--you can't win the match."

"Oh yeah? And why's that?!" Edge's confusion turns into frustration.

"It's simple, really. I'm going to win, and there can only be one winner."

This time Ryder gets a big pop from the Albany crowd.

"Is that so, Zack? You're going to win, huh?"

"Yeah, that's..." Edge slaps Ryder in the face and Ryder's head turns to the

side as he drops his microphone. Edge smiles, proud of what he's done. The

crowd boos. Wait! Ryder drives Edge to the mat with a Spear! Ryder hits

Edge with a flurry of Right Hands and Left Hands! Edge manages to roll away

from Ryder and slide out of the ring, taking his Intercontinental

Championship with him. The crowd goes wild - Ryder's just become a fan

favorite - as Ryder takes off his T-Shirt and yells to Edge to come back to

the ring and fight.

"Wow! Zack Ryder just completely taking it to his former

"mentor"!"

"Let's not forget, Matt, Ryder won the Battle Royal last night

on Raw! Can Zack Ryder actually win this Battle Royal at Backlash?!"

Commercial break

The fans boo as Edge storms into Theodore Long's Office. Long doesn't look

pleased, to say the least.

"What the h*ll do you think you're doing? Nobody comes into my Office

without knocking."

"Screw you and your rules, Long! I want you make a match for right here

tonight! Edge one-on-one with Zack Ryder!" Major pop from the crowd as Long

seems to ponder the thought.

"Nobody comes into my Office and tells me what to do. But tonight I'm gonna

make an exception. Because, Edge, it seems like everyone in this arena -

myself included - wants to see Zack Ryder beat the living crap out of you!

You feelin dat, playa?" Long smiles as Edge storms out of his Office.

"Zack Ryder vs. Edge right here tonight?! What a match that's

going to be!"

"Talk about a huge announcement! That's gonna be one h*ll of a

match!"

John

Morrison theme

John Morrison steps into the arena. He taunts on the ramp as his fur coat

blows in the wind from the slow-motion effects. Morrison walks to the ring

to a mixed reaction. He enters the ring, takes off his coat, and hangs it on

the ring post.

"We are about to see "greatness" for perphaps the final time

here on ECW!""

"John Morrison was Drafted to Raw in the Supplemental Draft, and

tonight he will compete in his final ECW Match."

"And while I'm sure this will be good, I can't help but think

about that Main Event made moments ago by Theodore Long! Zack Ryder and Edge

are going to step into the ring just five days before they participate in a

Tri-Branded 21-Man Battle Royal at Backlash!"

*Ding ding!*

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from

Los Angeles, California, weighing in at two-hundred and nineteen

pounds...John Morrison!"

Morrison takes off his sunglasses and looks at his opponent - Zack Blaze -

standing across from him in the ring.

"And his opponent...from London, England weighing in at one-hundred and

ninety-five pounds...Zack Blaze!"

"Zack Blaze is a young athlete from London, England. He was

actually trained by former WWE Champion Kurt Angle."

"This is actually Zack Blaze's debut match here in ECW. He's

wrestled a match or two on Sunday Night Heat, but this is his first match on

ECW as he was just recently signed to an ECW Contract."

"A victory over someone like John Morrison is a great way to

kickstart your career. Let's see if Zack Blaze can do that. After all, he

was trained by Kurt Angle."

First Match: John Morrison vs. Zack Blaze

Match: The two lock-up in the center of the ring for a "Test of Strength".

In a surprising move, Blaze takes Morrison down with a Side Snapmare Toss and

applies an Anaconda Vice-esque Headlock. Morrison tries to battle out with a

Leg Scissor on the head of Blaze, and it works, as Blaze breaks the hold.

Both superstars get to their feet and Morrison goes for a Running Kick.

Blaze ducks it and Morrion's leg gets caught up over the top rope. Blaze

hits a Dropkick and Morrison falls out of the ring to a huge pop.

"Zack Blaze is in complete control! Can the rookie keep this

up?!"

Commercial break

Back from the commercial, Morrison has an Abdominal Stretch locked in. He

was able to gain the upper hand during the break after hitting a Super Kick

on Blaze. The crowd tries to get behind the rookie a bit with some claps.

Blaze shakes his fist and wills himself to break out of the hold with a few

elbows. Blaze bounces off the ropes and prevents a Back Body Drop by sliding

under Morrison's legs. Blaze connects with a Hip Toss and quickly applies a

Front Headlock.

"I don't believe it. I legitimately don't believe it! Zack

Blaze is looking extremely impressive in this match."

"John Morrison getting in very few offensive - or even defensive

- manuevers here. If this keeps up, Zack Blaze is going to win this

thing."

Morrison gets to his feet and Blaze keeps the Headlock locked in. Morrison

connects with a Fisherman Suplex, but amazingly Blaze keeps the lock in and

twists around so it's in the same position as before. Very impressive move.

Morrison - again - gets to his feet and pushes Blaze into the ropes. Blaze

rebounds and Morrison moves out of the way. Morrison leaps off the ropes for

a Springboard Kick, but Blaze - who rebounds off the other ropes - drops him

with a mid-air Roundhouse Kick.

"Woah! Did you see that kick?"

"That was...incredible. John Morrison, thanks for

comin."

Blaze climbs to the top rope and leaps, hitting Morrison with a Diving

Corkscrew. The fans count with the Referee as Blaze hooks the leg! 1! 2!

3!

Winner: Zack Blaze

"In the words of Ron Simmons...d*mn! What a great match!"

"Zack Blaze making an impressive debut while John Morrison loses his last match here in the Land of Extreme."

The rest of this episode will be a shortened version to due personal reasons.

-Finlay cut a promo about winning the Battle Royal at Backlash.

-Edge defeated Zack Ryder after hitting him with the Intercontinental Championship Belt while the Referee was distracted.

-Dolph Ziggler defeated The Undertaker with a Roll-Up Pin after Jack Swagger blasted The Undertaker with a Right Hand.

-After the match, Jack Swagger cut a promo and this video aired, interrupting it.

Tabris here. (At long last, eh?)

Eh... good that you're finally supplyin' precious divas in Legacy (somethin' I sorta urged ya to do a long while back, but meh).

Can't wait for (the weirdly surnamed) Wattkins and Rachel Delta (related to Dustin?).

Read ECW against my own will...still wanna read the rest properly, can't wait for my debut on Smackdown.

EDIT: BTW, I'm changing the theme song for Amber to Cross The Line by AD/AM, I'll be throwing some Traci clips with the song tonight.

EDIT: Okay the video has been done and PM'd to you Star. I hope everyone enjoys Amber, because I've got lots of plans for her.
