I had to go, and I sent the show to Swift so he could write the Battle Royal and then post it.

 

If I had posted it and noticed that, I would have fixed it. I type out all of the BBCodes, so sometimes I make a mistake.

I have to finish writing ECW. I started it yesterday morning and I haven't gotten around to finishing it yet.

Red fireworks explode across the stage as the next exciting of ECW is set to begin!

 

"Hello everyone and welcome to another extreme edition of E C W! I'm Todd Grisham alongside my broadcast collague, Matt Striker, and we're here in St. Louis, Missouri!"

 

"Oh and it's great to be in St. Louis, Todd. These guys love the WWE!"

 

"We're less than twenty-four hours removed from a Draft Lottery that has - if you will - completely changed the landscape of the WWE. You won't believe some of the huge Draft Picks that were made last night!"

 

"And speaking of huge, Chris Jericho will participate in his final match on ECW against The Moscow Mauler, Vladimir Kozlov."

 

Chris Jericho vs. Vladimir Kozlov [Tonight]

 

"Chris Jericho was Drafted to Smackdown last night - and although it's disappointing - I'm sure he'll find success there."

 

"There's no doubt in mind that he will, Todd. And for those of you that didn't get a chance to watch Raw last night, we're going to show you a Recap of the Draft in a little while."

 

"Be sure to log on to "wwe.net" "tomorrow" night at 7 PM!"

 

Note: The Supplemental Draft is being posted at 7 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2009, regardless of when this particular episode is posted. It is possible that this episode will be posted after the Draft has been posted, but storyline-wise, the Supplemental Draft takes place on a Wednesday, so any Draft Picks made in the Supplemental Draft for ECW will not appear on ECW until the ECW after this one.

Zack Ryder theme

 

The St. Louis crowd boos as Zack Ryder enters the arena. He is wearing red pants (tights-style) that say "Ryder" on both legs and "ECW" on the back. Ryder raises his arms above his head and does a "peace sign" taunt as the crowd continues to boo. He walks to the ring, hoping to make a good first impression in his new home--ECW.

 

"Now this is what I'm talking about! Zack Ryder was Drafted to ECW - he was the first pick for ECW, actually - last night, and I'm very happy about that. I've always liked Ryder's ability, and I think he's going to fit in perfectly on ECW."

 

"Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins were separated last night after suffering a Tag Team loss to Evan Bourne and Ren. For the first time ever, Hawkins and Ryder are going to have Singles Careers. It should be interesting to see how they perform."

 

"This Opening Contest is scheduled for one fall! Making his way to the ring, from Long Island, New York, weighing in at two-hundred and eighteen pounds..Zack Ryder!"

 

Ryder enters the ring and stares at his opponent - a local wrestler - who is standing across from him.

 

"And his opponent, from St. Louis Missouri, weighing in at two-hundred pounds..Kyle Parlon!"

 

"Kyle Parlon is a City-Wide Wrestling Champion here in St. Louis. One of the best young athletes in the state of Missouri. Zack Ryder's going to have a challenge on his hands here tonight."

 

First Match: Zack Ryder vs. Kyle Parlon

 

Match: The two stare at each other for a moment and lock-up. Ryder overpowers Parlon and takes him to the mat with a Snapmare Toss. Ryder follows it up with a powerful knee to the back of a sitting-up Parlon. He pushes Parlon down and tries for a cover, but only gets a two count. Quickly, Ryder applies a Reverse Headlock, yelling "Give Up!" or something like that to his young opponent. Parlon starts to get to his feet, and Ryder drives his head into the mat. Again Ryder tries for a cover, but Parlon kicks out at two. Ryder goes for a Clothesline, but Parlon ducks and hits an Armbar. Parlon turns around and Ryder blasts him with a powerful Clothesline, nearly taking his head off. Ryder taunts for a moment - getting boos - before picking Parlon up and hitting him with an STO that causes the back of his head/neck to take the most damage upon hitting the mat.

 

"Thanks for comin, Kyle!"

 

"That's gonna be the match ender!"

 

Ryder hooks the legs and - 1! 2! 3! - scores an easy three count.

 

Winner: Zack Ryder

 

"Here is your winner...Zack Ryder!"

 

"Zack Ryder picking up an incredibly decisive victory on his first night here in ECW! This kid will have a very positive future here in the Land of Extreme."

 

"Certainly no question as to whether or not Zack Ryder will be able to fit in here in ECW. Well, still to come tonight, Chris Jericho will go one-on-one with The Moscow Mauler himself, Vladimir Kozlov."

 

Chris Jericho vs. Vladimir Kozlov [Tonight]

 

"But up next, we're going to here from one of the biggest Draft Picks made last night. The youngest World Champion in Wrestling History, Devon Immortal."

 

Devon Immortal [up Next]

 

Commercial break

 

 

Devon Immortal enters the arena as we return to TV. He walks to the ring, wearing blue jeans, a white T-Shirt, and black wrestling boots. The fans boo him as he walks to the ring, but he just shakes it off. He enters the ring and gets a microphone.

 

"Let me start with this. I don't like or give a d*mn about any of you people." No smiles, just that look of emotionlessness as the crowd boos. "I don't like you, but I'm definitely glad to be here on ECW. Raw is full of morons and crazy people. I mean, look at what Shawn Michaels did to me last week." The crowd cheers. "And then Randy Orton, and that idiot of a General Manager, Chandler Emerald. I'm done with that, though. I had wanted to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship, but I'd much rather be here on ECW where I know things will be fair. Now then, I do plan on challenging for the ECW Championship soon, and when that time comes, I will make history once again by becoming the youngest superstar in Wrestling History to hold two different World Championships. It's clear to me that I'm next in line for a Championship Match, especially after I was screwed out of the Championship at Wrestlemania by.."

 

Big Show theme

 

Big Show enters the arena with a smile on his face. The crowd cheers and many people extend their hands for a high-five, some of which receive one. Show keeps his eyes locked on Devon Immortal has he walks to the ring.

 

"Apparently The Big Show has something to say, Todd!"

 

"Maybe he wants to extend a friendly welcome to Devon Immortal."

 

"Yeah, and maybe I'll stand on the announce table and do a dance for everybody while dressed in a pirate costume."

 

"I don't doubt that you would, Matt."

 

Show enters the ring slowly as Devon Immortal takes a step back. Show walks right past him and gets a microphone. "Big Show" chants begin to fill the arena as The World's Largest Athlete stares down Devon Immortal.

 

"Well would you look at what the cat dragged in. Devon Immortal. I've heard a bit about you. You like to cheat to win, you like to kiss people's a*ses, and - oh yeah - you're the youngest superstar to ever hold a World Championship. I have a question, though. Is that supposed to impress me? Am I supposed to give a d*mn?" Cheers from the crowd. "I didn't think so. Now I don't really care what YOU have to say, and neither do these people. If you planned on coming to ECW and immediately earning respect, you're wrong. Here, you have to earn it. And so far you've done nothing to earn the respect of anyone."

 

"Let me ask you something, Big Show. When's the last time you've held a Championship? It's been around three years, hasn't it? All you do around here is walk around and occasionally win a match. That's not something that deserves respect either. You're a worthless piece of garbage, and you have no right to say that I don't deserve respect. Especially not when I could kick your a*s any day."

 

Oh wait! Big Show goes for a Knockout Punch! Devon Immortal dodges it and - OH! - connects with a Low Blow Kick! Big Show drops to the mat in pain as Immortal looks at him for a moment and begins to leave the ring.

 

"Wow! Devon Immortal just completely laid out The Big Show!"

 

"Devon had to be expecting Big Show to strike him, and he was able to use that to his advantage."

 

Theodore Long theme

 

Theodore Long - The General Manager of ECW - emerges on the ramp with a microphone. Devon Immortal shoots him a puzzled look and stands at the end of the ramp.

 

"Hold on a minute, playa! First of all, I'd like to welcome ya to ECW! I know you're a former World Champion and whatnot, so I'm glad to have ya here! Although, I do have some bad news for you. I just received word from Mr. McMahon that you will be competing at Backlash. It won't be for a World Title, though. At Backlash, you'll be going one-on-one with..The Animal! Batista!"

 

"What?!"

 

"What a big match-up that's gonna be!"

 

Devon Immortal stares at Theodore Long with an angry look on his face, realizing that in just under two weeks he'd have to step into the ring with the man that he Punted in the skull on Raw three weeks ago.

"Well, we are just under two weeks away from Backlash! And it's shaping up to be one h*ll of a show!"

 

"Tell me about it! The Game, Triple H, steps into the ring with CM Punk in a match for the WWE Championship. Can The Game defeat Punk and regain the WWE Championship?"

 

"And how about this? Chris Jericho battles The Undertaker in a Wrestlemania Rematch! The winner of that match will go to Judgment Day to challenge The All-American American Jack Swagger for the ECW Championship!"

 

"And earlier today on "wwe.net" it was announced that there will be a 21-Man Tri-Branded Battle Royal! The winner of that match will go on to Judgment Day to challenge for a World Championship on their brand! If an ECW Superstar wins, there will be a Triple Threat Match at Judgment Day for the ECW Championship, which makes the odds even worse for Jack Swagger!"

 

"Then there's the United States Championship Match! Dustin Delta will defend the United States Championship against whoever wins the United States Championship Tournament! That Tournament will come to an end this Monday on Raw, and Dustin Delta will find out who he will be defending his Championship against!"

 

"And moments ago we learned that Devon Immortal would take on The Animal, Batista! Will Batista have a chance to get his revenge on Devon Immortal?!"

 

"You're listening to The Official Theme of Backlash,Seasons, by the great Veer Union! Many thanks to Veer Union for letting us use this awesome song!"

 

"Coming up next, Tyson Kidd will battle The Wrestling Machine Kurt Angle! Who will advance in the WWE United States Championship Tournament? We're going to find out!"

 

Tyson Kidd vs. Kurt Angle [up Next]

 

Commercial break

 

 

We return to find Tyson Kidd - the last graduate of the Hart Dungeon - standing in the ring, ready for competition.

 

"This match is going to be Tyson Kidd's chance to prove himself. Like I've mentioned before, Tyson Kidd is a graduate from the Hart Family Dungeon, and I'm sure he's going to have no problem standing toe-to-toe with the best of the best here in ECW."

 

"Kidd's opponent tonight is a man that will be going over to Smackdown thanks to the WWE Draft. Will Kurt Angle win the Tournament and take the United States Championship back over to Smackdown?"

 

"We'll have to see. Although I will admit that Kurt Angle is one of the few superstars that will be far from easy for Tyson Kidd to overcome. Kurt Angle is an Olympic Gold Medalist, and he's one h*ll of an athlete. A former World Champion, too."

 

"Angle" chants begin to fill the arena as the excited crowd awaits the arrival of The Olympic Hero. Tyson Kidd looks around the arena, waiting - it seems - as well.

 

 

Kurt Angle bursts into the arena, much to the excitement of the crowd. He receives a major pop as he raises his arms in the air and red, white, and blue pyro explode across the stage three times in a row. He grasps the Gold Medal around his neck and holds it up so Tyson Kidd can get a good look at it. He makes his way to the ring, high-fiving tons of fans as he does so. The crowd begins to chant "You Suck!" toward Tyson Kidd, who seems to get annoyed by it.

 

"This will be Kurt Angle's second match on ECW since making his WWE return. His first match was a couple of months ago--a Triple Threat Match between Big Show, Angle, and the current ECW Champion Jack Swagger. It was a match in which Jack Swagger emerged victorious, but it was because of Big Show that Swagger did so."

 

"And we're about to find out if The Wrestling Machine will be able to overcome Tyson Kidd."

 

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at one-hundred and ninety-five pounds...Tyson Kidd!"

 

The crowd boos as Kidd raises his arms in the air.

 

"And his opponent, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, weighing in at two-hundred and forty pounds...Kurt Angle!"

 

More "Angle" chants fill the arena as The Wrestling Machine looks around the arena, smiling. He knows that if he wants another match with Dustin Delta, he has to win tonight, and that's exactly what he plans to do.

 

Second Match: Tyson Kidd vs. Kurt Angle

 

Match: The bell sounds announcing the start of the match. Angle starts things off by grappling with Tyson Kidd, then thrusts him over his shoulders-BAM! Tyson Kidd hits the ring mat hard!

 

"Ouch! An impressive move from Kurt Angle!"

 

"I've gotta agree with you there Todd- lets see if the young Tyson Kidd comes back from this."

 

Kurt Angle lifts Tyson Kidd up by the head and locks into an Ankle Lock- Tyson Kidd kicks Kick Angle off, hard, causing him to bounce off of the ring ropes and into Tyson Kidd's left foot.

 

"Kurt Angle eats boot there!"

 

Tyson Kidd sees the huge advantage and hits a devastating leg drop on Kurt Angle- straight across the throat! He then jumps up to the top turnbuckle and prepares to jump.

 

"Looks like he's gonna jump!"

 

Tyson Kidd jumps and attempts to hit a flying Dropkick, but suddenly Kurt Angle jumps up and pulls Tyson Kidd into an Ankle Lock in mid-air!

 

"WHOA! Here's the Ankle Lock!"

 

Tyson Kidd screams in pain and desperately tries to crawl towards the ropes, and just as he is almost there- Kurt Angle stands up and pulls him back, twisting the ankle as hard as he possibly could. Tyson Kidd winces and bites his lip, trying to cover up his pain; he rolls over and attempts to escape, but to no avail. Kurt Ankle begins to scream “Come up! Give up!” irritably, but Tyson Kidd showed no time of giving up any time soon and ignores him. Kurt Ankle shuffles backwards and brings Tyson Kidd's ankle to the outside of the ring- bending it on the ring apron! Tyson Kidd yelps and screams in pain, attempting to wiggle furiously and get out of it, and looks just about to tap when- he gets a sudden spur of momentum and kicks Angle in the face, causing him to fly to the outside. Hopping and struggling to stand on two feet, Tyson Kidd stands up. Kurt Angle swears at him from the outside, explaining how it meant nothing. Angle climbs in the ring, only to be hit by a fierce boot from Tyson Kidd.

 

"What a kick there from Tyson Kidd!"

 

Tyson Kidd stomps viciously on Kurt Angle.

 

"Nice idea from Tyson Kidd- trying to ground Angle."

 

Tyson Kidd runs and goes for a final stomp- only to be pulled down by Angle, who locks him in yet another Ankle Lock!

 

"Oh no, that's his good foot!"

 

"No pain, no game."

 

Tyson Kidd manages to escape a lot easily this time, crawling to the ring ropes to get up. Sweating furiously, he ran at Angle and attempted to go for what looked like a Super Kick- however, Angle grabbed his leg and pulled him round and locked in the German Suplex position- he hit one German Suplex- hard, slamming him down to the ground with a THUD. He then it another German Suplex-doing the same, and then threw him to the other side of the ring with a final German Suplex.

 

"Those German Suplex's may have done it..."

 

Angle picks him up and throws him into the corner- then hit a stone-like Shoulder Block, which slammed right into Tyson Kidd's face. Taunting and going behind him, Angle attempts to hit the Angle Slam-

 

"Here it goes-!"

 

"The Angle Slam?!"

 

-however just as he begins to lift Tyson Kidd up- he manages to reverse and it pulls Kurt Angle into a roll-up pin! Unseen, he grabs Kurt Angle's tights and the referee counts-

 

One!-

 

Two!-

 

Three!!

 

DING, DING, DING- the bell sounds one final time as Tyson Kidd's music is played. He rolls out of the ring, grinning, looking triumph.

 

“Here is your winner, Tyson Kidd!”

 

“Here is your winner, Tyson Kidd!”

 

An absolutely irate Kurt Angle gets to his feet in the ring and runs up to the ropes. He shakes them furiously and stares at Tyson Kidd.

 

"Tyson Kidd just beat Kurt Angle! You gotta be kidding me!"

 

"Angle isn't happy in the slightest! Luckily for Tyson, Kurt Angle's going to Smackdown!"

 

Tyson Kidd hurries to the back as Kurt Angle continues to stare from inside the ring. He's absolutely beside himself.

 

"Coming up next, it's time for the highly-anticipated Main Event! Chris Jericho battles The Moscow Mauler Vladimir Kozlov!"

 

Chris Jericho vs. Vladimir Kozlov [up Next]

 

Commercial break

 

 

The crowd boos as The Ruthless Russian enters the arena. He holds his arms in the air and roars. He walks to the ring slowly, glaring at the crowd.

 

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Moscow, weighing in at three-hundred and two pounds...Vladimir Kozlov!"

 

Kozlov enters the ring and gets a microphone.

Jericho enters the arena and the crowd goes nuts! It's time for Jericho's final match on ECW! He walks to the ring, sort of disappointed, but sort of excited at the same time. He high-fives some fans as he walks to the ring.

 

Main Event Match: Chris Jericho vs. Vladimir Kozlov

 

Match: DING, DING! This match is now officially underway. Jericho and Kozlov stare at each other hard. “LETS GO, JER-I-CHO!” chants begin throughout the arena. But men lock arms in the center, as Kozlov wrenches Jericho. Jericho falls to his knees, put is pulled off the ground and swung around like a ragdoll, having his back meet the mat. Jericho rolls but is caught by Kozlov. Kozlov lifts Jericho and tosses him to the ropes. Jericho rebounds and is hit with a shoulder block, knocking him over. Kozlov hits two elbow drops before going for the pin. “1!”. Kozlov gets up and hits another elbow drop across the throat and neck of Jericho. Kozlov stands and begins stomping on Jericho’s chest, shouting at him. Jericho rolls away and falls to the outside mat. Kozlov follows him to the outside and walks over to him. Kozlov grabs Jericho’s head and smashes it into the turnbuckle, sending Jericho to the ground once more. Kozlov grabs Jericho’s leg, and kicks the biceps femoris muscle multiple times. Jericho pulls his leg away from Kozlov, and holds it in pain. Kozlov lifts Jericho who has troubles getting up, and sends him straight into THE STEEL STEPS! “5… 6…” Jericho falls to the ground as Kozlov breaks the count. Kozlov throws the steps away, as he lifts Jericho and smashes his head into the ring post. Kozlov continues to hold Jericho, as he tosses him straight over the announcers table, almost nailing both commentators. Kozlov rolls in the ring, hoping for a count-out victory. “5… 6…” Jericho slowly gets up and stumbles into the ring at “7”. Kozlov walks over to Jericho who dropkicks him in the shin, causing Kozlov to fall to his one knee. Jericho stumbles around but makes it to his feet, he runs to the ropes, rebounds, and hits a one-handed bulldog. Both men are on the mat. “1… 2… 3…” Jericho gets up, and taunts the crowd. Kozlov gets up, turns, and hits a hard clothesline on Jericho! Kozlov goes for a second pin. “1… 2!” but Jericho kicks out.

Kozlov stands and lifts Jericho. He tosses Jericho into the turnbuckle, and hits a running clothesline. Jericho holds on to the turnbuckle for leverage as Kozlov hits another clothesline. This time, Jericho falls into a seated position. Kozlov moves back, runs, JERICHO MOVES, KOZLOV HITS THE TURNBUCKLE! Kozlov stumbles forward, bending over. Jericho slowly gets up, runs, and hits a second one-handed bulldog. Jericho gets up, and kicks Kozlov in the face. Kozlov slowly gets up as Jericho goes on the offensive. Jericho begins punching Kozlov in the head, and finishes with a strong elbow, sending Kozlov into the turnbuckle. Jericho runs and hits his own clothesline. Kozlov stumbles out and falls to his knee. Jericho climbs to the top and walks across the ropes. Kozlov stands and his hit with a flying forearm to the back of the head from Jericho! Kozlov falls to the mat as Jericho goes for his first pin. “1...” Jericho gets up and kicks Kozlov in the stomach. Kozlov grabs the rope and lifts himself. Jericho runs to the rope, rebounds, Kozlov turns, and HITS A STRONG HEADBUTT TO THE STERNUM! Jericho is taken off the ground and hits the mat. Pin!

 

“1…

KICKOUT! Jericho kicks out of a move which has put many superstars away in the past several months. Kozlov’s cruel face turned to shock. The crowd popped. Kozlov stands up and grabs Jericho by the head. Kozlov begins striking knees and punches. Kozlov tosses Jericho to the ropes, who returns to get a Big Boot in the face! Jericho stumbles and is hit down with a shoulder-block! Kozlov hits a leg-drop before going for the pin! “1… 2…” Jericho gets his foot on the rope! Kozlov’s face is furious as he drags Jericho into the center of the ring. “1… 2…” Jericho kicks out! Kozlov grabs Jericho’s head and hits a headbutt. Jericho falls back to the mat, blocking the several punches to follow. The referee breaks them up as he pulls Kozlov off of him. Jericho slowly gets up as Kozlov goes for a Big Boot, BUT JERICHO DUCKS UNDER AND AROUND! Kozlov turns, Jericho grabs both of his legs and sends his mat to the ground, Jericho turns, LOCKING IN THE WALLS OF JERICHO! The crowd pops! Jericho drags Kozlov into the center of the ring, and WRENCHES! “Do you give up?!” the referee continually asks Kozlov. “TAP-OUT!” chants begin around the arena. Kozlov yells as he tries to reach the ropes, but Jericho brings him back to the center and continues to wrench! After several moments Kozlov gets his one leg free! As Jericho turns to grab it, Kozlov kicks Jericho hard, releasing his other leg, and into the ropes. Jericho rebounds and is grabbed BY THE THROAT! Kozlov lifts Jericho, about to hit is finisher, CODEBREAKER! Jericho just reversed Kozlov’s finisher into his own! The crowd pops. It’s over! Jericho goes for a quick pin! “1… 2… 3!”

Jericho’s music hits as the referee raises his hand in victory. Jericho stumbles to the turnbuckle as the crowd pops. Jericho finishes by taunting the crowd.

 

Winner: Chris Jericho

 

"Here is your winner...Chris Jericho!"

 

Jericho begins to exit the ring with his hand placed on the back of his head, obviously weakened from the match.

 

Suddenly, a plays on the TitanTron. It ends and Jericho has a puzzled look on his face.

 

"What in the world?"

 

"Two weeks? What was that video about?"

 

"I have no idea, but hopefully we'll get some more information next week. We'll see you next Tuesday on ECW!"
