p><p>Every year, tons and tons of superstars put their bodies on the line. They go out to the ring and do things that you wouldn

This is action. This is entertainment. This is Wrestlemania!

Houston - Texas

Hundreds of multi-colored fireworks explode across the stage, filling the arena with smoke and dazzling displays

of light. The record-breaking crowd of seventy-three thousand, five hundred and twenty-two people stand on

their feet-all of them-and cheer in anticipation of the biggest event in Wrestling History.

The unmistakable voice of the great Howard Finkel fills the arena to a great reaction.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 25th Annual Wrestlemania!"

"Ladies and gentlemen welcome! We are finally here! It's time for Wrestlemania! I'm Good Ol'

J.R., Jim Ross, alongside Michael Cole and Matt Striker! And what a night it's going to be! Truly the biggest event

in Wrestling History!"

"It feels great to be here calling Wrestlemania for the first time ever! I'm honored to sit alongside

greats like Jim Ross and Michael Cole and call this wonderous spectacle!"

"I'm like these fans; I'm so excited I can barely stay in my seat!"

"We're all excited, Cole! And we're just getting started! We're gonna witness four hours of great

action! So grab some popcorn, soda, and whatever else you need, and get ready to have your mind blown!"

The enormous crowd goes absolutely wild as what some might say greatest theme song ever used by The Rated-R

Superstar blares throughout the arena. The sound of "Never Gonna Stop Me", surely bringing back memories for

the Houston crowd, receives a major ovation. Moments later, The Rated-R Superstar enters the arena,

Intercontinental Title held high above his head. Tons of fireworks explode across the stage as Edge walks down to

the middle of the ramp and stops.

"Listen to that ovation! I don't think I've ever heard Edge get cheers that loud!"

"This legendary, if you will, theme song is infamous to the WWE Universe! Our Intercontinental

Champion looks ready to fight-and something tells me he plans to keep true to his statement. He will restore

prestige to the Intercontinental Title!"

"I don't doubt it for a second, J.R. Say what you will about Edge, but when he says he's going to do

something; more often than not, he does it."

Edge enters the ring and he-along with the crowd-turns toward the TitanTron, awaiting the arrival of his

opponent.

Shane McMahon bursts into the arena, smiling. The fans are treated to a Shane O'Mac Shuffle on the ramp before

Shane begins to make his way to the ring. He keeps his eyes locked on The Ultimate Opportunist, a sign that he's

determined to emerge victorious.

"Now this is a very interesting match, to say the least. If Edge wins, his wife, Vickie Guerrero,

keeps her job as Smackdown General Manager and Edge retains the Intercontinental Championship. If Shane

McMahon wins, Vickie Guerrero loses her job as Smackdown General Manager, and Shane McMahon becomes

the Intercontinental Champion."

"There's another interesting twist here. The King of Kings, The Game, The Cerebral Assasin, Triple

H, will be the Special Guest Referee for this bout. Now, Triple H doesn't have great history with the McMahon

family, but he's not fond of Edge and his wife, either. With Triple H as the Referee, this match could really go

either way."

The fans jump out of their seats and begin to cheer for the 12-Time WWE Champion. A minute goes by, and The

Game is nowhere to be seen. The music stops playing as Edge and Shane McMahon look at each other with

puzzled looks on their faces.

”Where’s The Game?”

”Triple H is supposed to be the Special Guest Referee, but it looks like he’s not coming out

here.”

“Excuse me!” Instantly the arena is filled with boos as Vickie Guerrero walks onto the stage. “I said, excuse me!”

She looks around the arena as the fans continue to boo. “Triple H was supposed to be the Special Guest Referee

for this match, but he has not arrived here tonight. That being said, I’ve decided to name my good friend, Curt

Hawkins, as the Special Guest Referee instead.” The crowd boos as Curt Hawkins enters the arena with a

Referee’s outfit on. He looks at Vickie Guerrero, nods, and walks to the ring.

”Curt Hawkins? This can’t be good for Shane McMahon.”

”I don’t like this at all.”

First Match: Shane McMahon vs. Edge [special Guest Referee: (Originally Triple H; changed to:) Curt Hawkins]

[intercontinental Championship Match]

Match: An attempted lock-up in the center of the ring gets things going. Edge backs up for a moment, looking for

the best approach. After a moment of thinking, he runs toward Shane, and gets slammed with an Armbar. He

quickly scrambles to his feet and runs again, only to be taken down with another Armbar. Shane looks to keep the

momentum going with a Clothesline, but isn’t so lucky as Edge ducks the move. Edge kicks Shane in the chest and

connects with a Snap DDT. Edge hooks the legs as Special Guest Referee Curt Hawkins begins to count. Hawkins

counts extremely fast, but Shane is still able to roll the shoulder up before Edge gets the victory. Edge looks

around the arena for a moment, planning his next move. Edge makes his decision and locks in a Reverse Chinlock.

After a brief struggle, Shane gets to his feet and takes Edge down with a Snapmare Toss. The crowd begins to

cheer as the momentum shifts once again.

”It took a minute, but Shane McMahon was able to battle out of the hold. Don’t let his lack of

appearances fool you; Shane McMahon knows exactly what he’s doin’ in that ring!”

”That’s for sure. Underestimating someone like Shane McMahon is a big mistake; one that superstars

have paid for in the past.”

”Shane McMahon is extremely talented, yes, but there’s no way you could say he’s better than The

Rated-R Superstar. I respect Shane’s accomplishments in this business-a former European and Hardcore

Champion-, but Edge is a six-time World Champion. Edge has done things that people like Shane McMahon

couldn’t even dream of accomplishing. That being said, I’m betting on Edge to win this match.”

”Who wouldn’t be, Matt? Especially when Curt Hawkins is the Special Guest Referee. The odds

are stacked in Edge’s favor. At least with Triple H as the Special Guest Referee, the odds would have been even for

both sides.”

Edge bounces off the ropes and runs toward Shane. Shane waits for Edge to get close enough and slams him with a

Back Body Drop, getting great elevation. Shane climbs to the top rope and tries to drop an Elbow on his fallen

opponent, but fails as Curt Hawkins moves Edge out of the way. The fans chant “You Suck”, obviously directed at

Hawkins, but he ignores it. Hawkins helps Edge to his feet; all the while receiving boos. Edge backs toward the

corner and measures Shane McMahon for a Spear. As Shane O’Mac gets to his feet, Edge takes off running. Shane

is able to see it coming , though, and moves out of the way. Edge, not wanting a repeat of No Way Out, stops

himself from running into the steel post by grabbing the ropes. He is not able, however, to block a powerful

Dropkick from Shane. Shane into the cover! 1! 2! Hawkins stops counting. Shane stands up and gets in

Hawkins’ face. Hawkins says something along the lines of “I counted normally”, but Shane will have none of it.

Shane decks Hawkins with a Right Hand and the young “Edgehead” crashes to the mat. The crowd begins to

chant “Shane O’Mac”. Shane turns around, only to be Speared by Edge.

”Spear! Edge just connected with it!”

”Edge did hit the Spear, but there’s no Referee to make the count!”

”This isn’t really fair, if you ask me! Shane McMahon put his hands on an Official, and because of

it, Edge isn’t getting the victory he rightfully deserves!”

Edge covers Shane, but stands up as he realizes no one is making the count. In an attempt to win, Edge tries to

revive Hawkins, but to no avail. It seems Hawkins was knocked out by the Right Hand. The crowd begins to cheer

as Triple H runs to the ring, sporting a Referee’s outfit. Edge covers Shane! 1! 2! The Game stops counting. He

grabs his hand in what is seemingly pain.

”What’s going on?! The Game is here, and he just stopped counting!”

”It looks like Triple H has hurt his hand from hitting the mat too hard!” J.R. laughs.

”Come on! We all know The Game stopped counting on purpose!”

Edge gets up and begins yelling at The Game. Out of nowhere, Shane rolls Edge up with a Schoolboy Pin! 1! 2!

Thr..! The count stops as Hawkins nails The Game from behind. The crowd boos. Shane McMahon exits the ring

and gets a steel chair. He brings the weapon into the ring.

”We’ve got a battle of Referees out here, guys!”

”Not only that, Shane McMahon’s got that chair!”

Hawkins slaps Triple H across the face. The Game becomes infuriated and nails Hawkins with a Spinebuster.

The crowd goes wild. Edge tries to Spear The Game, but The Game moves out of the way, and Edge Spears a

chair-wielding Shane McMahon.

”Edge just Speared Shane McMahon!”

”Oh my god! This match is intense!”

Edge pins Shane! 1! 2! 3!

Winner: Edge

The crowd boos as the bell rings, signaling the end of the match. Edge looks at Triple H for a moment, confused

by his motives.

”Edge wins! Triple H made the three count!”

”I don’t believe it! Triple H actually counted to three!”

The crowd boos as Edge and a now-standing Curt Hawkins make their way to the back. The Game helps Shane

McMahon to his feet and pats him on the back. Suddenly, The Game kicks Shane in the chest and hits him with a

Pedigree.

”What?!”

”What in the world?”

Triple H exits the ring and gets a Sledgehammer. As Shane McMahon gets to his feet, Triple H runs toward him

and smashes the Sledgehammer into his forehead. Shane falls to the mat, split open.

”Triple H just busted Shane McMahon open!”

”What the h*ll is going on here?!”

A Promo for the WWE Tag Team Championship Match is shown.

[second Match: Cryme Tyme defeated Mike Knox & Snitsky to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions after Shad hit Mike Knox with a chair while the Referee was distracted.]

A Promo for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match is shown.

*Bell rings*

"It is now time for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match!"

Evan Bourne theme

Evan Bourne enters the arena, full of excitement. Many fans are glad to see Bourne competing in his first

Wrestlemania Match, and even more glad that it will be a Ladder Match because Bourne will be able to showcase

his high-flying abilities.

"Welcome to the annual Money in the Bank Ladder Match! I can't think of anyone I'd like to see

compete in a Ladder Match more than Evan Bourne! This kid, from what I've seen on ECW, is great."

"Evan Bourne is one of the best new superstars I've ever seen, and I know he'll achieve success for

years to come."

Jack Swagger theme

The fans boo as "The All-American American" Jack Swagger enters the arena. He taunts on the ramp, drawing lots

of heat to himself. He doesn't let it bother him, though, and he walks to the ring.

"How about this guy, J.R.? Jack Swagger has shown lots of potential if you ask me."

"There's no doubt in my mind that Jack Swagger can wrestle; it's his personality that bothers

me."

Christian theme

The Instant Classic, Christian, enters the arena to a huge pop. He smiles and high-fives a bunch of fans as he

makes his way to the ring.

"Here is my personal pick to win the match. Christian is far more experienced with Ladder

Matches than anyone else competing in this match, and it's about time Christian gets a chance at becoming a

World Champion."

"Christian is a great athlete, and he's been extremely impressive since his return."

The Brian Kendrick

theme

Kendrick enters the arena with a cocky smile on his face. He dances around on the stage and gets boos.

"The Brian Kendrick defeated Smackdown Newcomer Brownlee to earn himself a spot in Money in

the Bank. And I have to say, I've been impressed with Kendrick for a while now. Even without Ezekiel Jackson,

The Brian Kendrick has been able to make a name for himself on ECW."

"Kendrick, if you remember, was seconds away from winning the ECW Championship just a couple

of months ago. What an achievement that would have been."

Montel Vontavious Porter

(MVP) theme

MVP enters the arena to a pretty big pop. He walks down the ramp and stops. He taunts as streams of fire rise on

the stage. He high-fives a few fans, all the while keeping his eyes on his opponents inside the ring.

"MVP has been on a Winning Streak since coming to Raw just over a month ago. He defeated the

previously undefeated Dolph Ziggler to qualify for this match."

"Montel Vontavious Porter is a great athlete. There's no denying it. And even recently he's

managed to become a fan favorite."

Shelton Benjamin theme

The Gold Standard enters the arena. He is greeted with boos from the Houston crowd, but he doesn't care. He

stares at his opponents as he walks to the ring.

"Shelton Benjamin is another athlete that, in my opinion, deserves to win this match. Benjamin

participated in the original Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and he put on an incredible performance."

Lord Smith theme

"His highness", Lord Smith, enters the arena, "golden" staff in hand. He is sporting a blue cape that has the

Wrestlemania Logo on the back, in addition to a pair of red wrestling tights with the letters "L S" on the back.

"Now this guy's neat. He's an interestin' guy, I'll give him that much. Lord Smith, apparently his

name, believes that he's a uh, king, I suppose. Lord Smith started his career losing matches to people like Kane

and Mark Henry, but after winning a Battle Royal on ECW to qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match,

Lord Smith has won a lot of matches."

"Lord Smith is interesting; that's for sure. Could you imagine if Lord Smith were to win here tonight?

He probably won't need the money. After all, he is a "king"."

Axle Comuteza theme

The "Hometown Hero" enters the arena to a massive ovation. Comuteza, being from Houston, Texas, easily got one

of the biggest pops of the night. He made his way to the ring, high-fiving a bunch of fans.

"What an ovation for Axle Comuteza. Let's not forget, Comuteza is from right here in Houston,

Texas. These people love him here."

"Axle Comuteza is a new superstar; made his debut on Raw less than a month ago. He defeated

Jamie Noble, if I remember correctly, to qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. What a great victory it

would be for Comuteza if he wins here tonight."

Third Match: Evan Bourne vs. Jack Swagger vs. Christian vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP)

vs. Lord Smith vs. The Brian Kendrick vs. Axle Comuteza

Match: Tons of ladders, around five or six at least, are set up around the ringside area and on the ramp. Some of

the superstars in the ring glance at the surrounding ladders, but quickly shift their gaze back to their opponents.

”And here we go! Let’s remember, the winner of this match, which is won by grabbing the

Briefcase suspended above the ring, earns himself a Contract that allows him to challenge for any title on any

brand at the time of his choosing.”

”Another thing to remember; every superstar that has won Money in the Bank has gone on to become a

World Champion. The only exception to this is Mr. Kennedy, but he lost the Briefcase to Edge.”

”It’s safe to assume that the winner of this match will do the same. No superstar in this match has

been a World Champion before, so either way, something big is likely to happen after this match comes to an

end.”

The bell rings, signaling the start of the match. All eight superstars begin to brawl with one another. Shelton

Benjamin hits MVP with some Right Hands-about three. MVP blocks the fourth shot and begins to battle back

with Right Hands of his own. MVP “corners” Benjamin against the ropes, and Irish Whips him. Benjamin

bounces off the ropes and MVP goes for a Back Body Drop, but Benjamin knees him in the head. Benjamin bounces

off the ropes again and hits MVP with a Running Neckbreaker.

Christian, having recently brawled with Lord Smith, exits the ring and gets a ladder. He brings it into the ring.

Christian picks up the ladder upon re-entering the ring. Seconds after, Axle Comuteza Dropkicks the ladder

right into Christian’s face, causing him to fall down and the ladder to land on top of him. In an incredible display

of athleticism, Comuteza runs up to the ropes, jumps to the second rope, right above Christian, and Leg Drops the

ladder that is on top of Christian. The move can be heard throughout the arena.

”Good lord! Did you see that shot?”

”Not only did I see it, I heard it!”

The Brian Kendrick and Evan Bourne begin to fight. Kendrick hits Bourne with a Dropkick and Bourne gets right

back up. Bourne bounces off the ropes and connects with a Running Enziguri. The force of the move causes

Kendrick to flip over. Shelton Benjamin hits Bourne with a German Suplex.

Jack Swagger hits Lord Smith with some Right Hands, followed by a Back Suplex. Swagger taunts and waits for

Lord Smith to get to his feet. Swagger goes for a Suplex, but Lord Smith counters it into a Suplex of his own.

Smith goes to the top rope and hits Swagger with a Moonsault. Shelton Benjamin picks up the ladder and rams it

into Axle Comuteza and Swagger, who were standing close enough to each other to be taken out at the same time.

Christian, now up, hits Benjamin with a Killswitch out of nowhere. The Brian Kendrick pulls Christian to the

corner and hits him with The Kendrick.. Swagger hits Kendrick with a Swagger Bomb. Axle Comuteza turns

Swagger around and hits him with an X-Factor. Lord Smith hits Comuteza with a Dropsault. The crowd goes wild

as Evan Bourne sets up a ladder in the center of the ring and begins to climb it. MVP begins to climb the ladder as

well, on the other side. Bourne reaches for the Briefcase, but MVP hits him with a Right Hand. Bourne grabs

MVP’s head and rams it into the top of the ladder. Smith comes up from behind MVP and hits him with a

Powerbomb. Evan Bourne climbs to the top of the ladder and looks down at MVP.

”No no way! What is Bourne thinking?!”

”You’ve gotta be kidding me!”

”Evan Bourne can win the match! All he’s gotta do is grab the Briefcase!”

Just like that, Bourne takes to the air at a great height and flips, before hitting MVP with a Shooting Star Press.

The crowd goes absolutely nuts. “Holy Sh*t!” chants begin to fill the arena.

”Good God! Shooting Star Press! Shooting Star Press!”

”I am amazed. I’ve never seen a move like that-ever.”

Axle Comuteza hits Lord Smith with an X-Factor. Comuteza begins to climb the ladder. Christian gets up and sets

up a ladder adjacent to the one Comuteza is climbing. Christian begins to climb the ladder. Comuteza pushes

Christian’s ladder and it lands against the ropes. Christian falls out of the ring. In what you could only describe

as an incredible display of events, Shelton Benjamin climbs to the top rope, leaps, grabs Comuteza, and hits him

with Paydirt onto the half-fallen ladder that Christian had fallen off of moments ago.

”What the h*ll?! Good God!”

”I don’t believe it!”

”What incredible athleticism!”

Jack Swagger and The Brian Kendrick begin to climb the ladder, one on each side. Kendrick tries to grab the

Briefcase, but Swagger pokes him in the eye, slams his head on the top of the ladder, and throws him off. Swagger

quickly reaches up and detaches the Briefcase, winning the match.

Winner: Jack Swagger

”What an incredible match!”

”Jack Swagger won the match, but not until he hit an illegal move on Kendrick!”

”There's no Disqualifications in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, Cole."

A Preview of the WWE Championship Match is shown.

Punk got a huge pop walking onto the stage. He grinned and held up his WWE title. He spun it around and ran down the ramp, high fiving the fans. He slid into the ring and jumped onto the turnbuckles and held up a title.

The fans went wild and a major pop went around for Cena. Though he didn’t appear on the stage. A jet plane circled over the arena. Stage crew carried a trampoline just off the stage. The fans went wild when the cockpit of the plane opened and Cena looked down at the stadium. The pilot maneuvered the plane to go upside down, and Cena fell down. As he came down, fireworks went off around the arena. He landed on the trampoline and immediately stood up straight. He looked into the crowd and saluted. He jumped off the trampoline and ran down the ramp into the ring. He saluted again and then turned to CM Punk.

Fourth Match: CM Punk vs. John Cena [WWE Championship Match]

”Cole, I don’t think CM Punk ever thought he would actually defend a World Championship at WrestleMania.”

”Well maybe he has, JR. And if he has, he’s living his dream.”

Punk delivered a sharp knee to John Cena. He then dropped a knee on the fallen John Cena. He went for an early pin, but John kicked out. The Doctor of Thuganomics came back with a punch, then rebounded off the ropes and hit a flying forearm. Cena wanted his title, and apparently right away. Cena held up his hand and went for a 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Punk rolled away and hit a roundhouse kick. CM pulled Cena into a Fireman’s Carry and dropped him back. Punk jumped onto the top rope and waited for 54 to stand. He did, and Punk took off, contacting with a cross body.

”Punk seems to have one the battle for control.”

CM Punk locked Cena in a Boston Crab. John strainer to get to the ropes. He rolled over and kicked Punk off. Cena came running for a shoulder thrust, but Punk threw Cena over the ropes and to ringside. Punk propelled himself with the ropes and landed with a corkscrew. The fans went wild. Half began chanting Cena, the other half Punk.

The crowd is really getting behind this match, guys!”

Punk pulled the Doctor of Thuganomics up and threw him into the ring. He slid in and pulled Cena up into a GTS positon. The drop, the knee, and the pin.

”There’s the GTS!”

`1…2…NO! Cena kicked out. The crowd went wild and CM pulled him up into a DDT Clutch. Cena reversed it and hit a back suplex. John went for another Knuckle Shuffle, and hit it this time. The Doc pinned Punk, who kicked out at 2. Cena ran to the ropes and rebounded. He ran at CM and hit a shoulder thrust. Punk fell to the mat. Cena went for another punk, but CM kicked out once again. Cena glared at Punk as he stood. He hit a dropsault and then brought Punk up for an FU. He hit it and pinned Punk for a third time.

Punk barely kicked out. He then went on the offensive. He delivered a high knee and a bulldog, following it up with a belly to belly, and then threw Cena into the corner. Punk hit a splash and a triangle dropkick.

”Punk is just going to town on John Cena.”

”This is a great match! It could go either way!”

Punk hit a enziguri and then hit a senton. He jumped up to the top rope and went for an elbow drop. Cena rolled away and then went for an FU. As CM Punk was flipped over, he stopped dead in his tracks and delivered a neckbreaker. Punk pulled John Cena up and hit a Go 2 Sleep. He pinned the Doctor of Thuganomics.

And retained the WWE Title.

Winner: CM Punk [still WWE Champion]

The fans cheered as Punk celebrated his victory.

A Preview of the Two Out of Three Falls Match is shown.

The lights in the arena went dim and the TitanTron lit up. Text appeared on it.

”In each peron, lies something unique.”

The lights in the arena flashed once.

”Each person must let it flow so they may be themselves, not another of society’s fools.”

The lights flashed twice.

”We as people, though, cannot make this flow, so all of us are made fools.”

The lights flashed three times, and then a voice echoed around the arena.

“EXCEPT ME.”

The fans booed as Dustin slowly walked onto the WrestleMania 25 stage. He looked up at the fans, grinning, even

though they were booing hm. Delta looked up into the night sky above the arena, staring into the stars. He looked

down and crossed his arms by his neck. Fireworks boomed onto the stage, not far from Delta. He threw his arms

up and hundreds of fireworks and pyros went off around the arena. Dustin ran off the stage and down the ramp.

Sliding into the ring and standing, Delta jumped around, arms at a span, and on one foot, mocking his opponent.

He smirked and stood on the turnbuckle and threw his hands out and looked up into the sky and smoke rose out

from under the ring and around Delta himself. Smirking again, Dustin looked into the crowd one final time before

his opponent entered the arena.

Kurt Angle theme

The crowd went crazy—the cheered louder than ever before for the Olympic Hero. He walked onto the stage and

held his arms up with his pointer finger up. His pyro went up, and then a lone pyro missle sailed around the arena

in a circle before exploding above the stage, allowing confetti to drop. Angle smiled and walked down the ramp,

high-fiving his fans. He stepped into the ring and then stood on the 2nd rope, holding his arms up in pride as a

pyro went off around the ring.

Fifth Match: Dustin Delta vs. Kurt Angle [2/3 Falls Match]

First Fall: Extreme Rules Match

Dustin ran forward and hit a quick Throwback. Angle stood up fast and delivered a series of punches to the torso

of Delta. Dustin went for a kick to Angle’s midsection, but Kurt reversed it and hit a dropkick. Kurt locked in a

Bow and Arrow, and Dustin quickly reversed it, rolling backwards, locking in scissors on Kurt’s neck, and

turning it into a Crucifix Head Scisser Frontflip. Delta slid out of the ring and threw up the ring apron.

”Dustin is bringing the Extreme into this Extreme Rules match!”

”Maybe he really is more extreme than Kurt Angle!”

Dustin pulled a ladder out and had a sinister look on his face. Angle came running and hit a baseball slide,

kicking the ladder into Delta’s skull. The fans went wild. Dustin lay lifless outside the ring, on top of the ladder.

”I take that back.”

Delta brought himself to his knees. He grabbed onto the barrier wall and pulled himself up. Foolishly, Kurt wasn’t

paying attention, taunting to the fans. Dustin slid into the ring and took Angle down with a Lou Thesz. He began

pounding on the Olympic Hero. Angle began blocking the blows and then got to his feet. The two locked up, but

Kurt proved superior, hitting a Powerslam. Delta rolled out of the ring and fell back onto the barrier wall, where

he rested for a moment. Kurt slid out of the ring and took Dustin Delta down with a fierce facebuster. He threw up

the ring apron and pulled a steel chair out. Delta came to and saw Kurt with the chair. Delta shook his head and

walked away from the barrier wall. Angle swung, but Delta ran. Angle ran after him. Dustin stopped and as Angle

came chair swinging, Delta hit a superkick, causing the chair to slam into the Olympic Hero’s face.

”OH MY GOD! DID YOU HEAR THAT CHAIRSHOT?”

Dustin grabbed Angle and threw him into the ring. Delta then rolled into the ring and stood over Angle. He hit a

leg drop. The former ECW Champion pulled the former WWE Champion to his feet and set him up on the

turnbuckle, facing the announcer’s table. Dustin stepped onto the ring apron and climbed the outside of the ring,

right foot on the third rope, left foot on the top of the turnbuckle. He set Kurt up for a superplex.

”Oh my…LOOK OUT!”

Dustin jumped off, bringing Kurt over his head, slamming Kurt into the Spanish announcer’s table. The table

broke and the Olympic Gold Medalist hit the solid ground. One fan in the second row was cheering the camera

zoomed in on her.

”If I’m not mistaken, that’s Miranda, Dustin Delta’s wife.”

”I’m sure she’d love to see Delta win tonight.”

”And I’m pretty sure that she’s the ONLY one in the arena that wants Delta to win tonight.”

Dustin made a miscalculation though. He came crashing down into the chair that he had superkicked into Angle’s

face. Under the immense pressure and velocity of Delta, the chair broke into two.

”Holy s**t. This is the most violent, extreme match I’ve ever seen in my career here n WWE. And we’re

only 20 minutes in.”

Delta and Kurt both lay outside the ring, not moving. Dustin was the first to move, but quickly fell down during

an attempt to stand. Angle got to his feet. He limbed over to Delta and pulled him up. Kurt unleashed a barrage of

kicks, punches, uppercuts, and slams onto Dustin. He then speared Delta into the steel steps. Kurt grinned as

blood feel from his face. Dustin was set seemingly lifeless against the steps, bleeding from the skull. Angle pulled

out a table from under the ring. He pushed the table into the ring, then rolled in himself. He set up the table, and

Dustin came to his feet, with almost no energy. He managed to reach the top of the turnbuckle and lept, hitting a

cross body that came out of nowhere.

”Now where did Delta get the energy to do that?”

Delta grunted in pain and pulled Kurt Angle up. He kicked him and threw him into an electric chair position,

turned him into a Jackknife clutch, and hit the Delta Bomb through the table. The fans gave Delta some major heat

as Kurt’s blood stained the mat. Dustin pinned Angle for the first pin.

”There’s the first pin! Delta has overcome to odds.”

”Not yet! There’s still a chance Kurt can win this thing, Striker.”

Second Fall: Normal Match

Delta grinned and celebrated, running around the ring. Kurt came to his feet. He looked at Dustin, shaking his

head. Angle hip tossed Dustin and then locked in an Ankle Lock. Delta tapped out. The fans went wild.

”Dustin just lost the second fall!” Michael Cole said, laughing.

Third Fall:

Delta stood and glared at Kurt, both their faces blood stained. They both stood at opposite sides of the ring. Dustin

came running and hit a Sleeper Slam, taking Angle down. He then began pounding at Angle. Delta stood and

walked out of the ring.

”Looks like Dustin is going to get a stretcher!”

Against Jim Ross’ assumption, Dustin went into the crowd. Into the second row. Delta walked up to a woman with

long blonde hair, a white tank top, blue jeans, and white high heels on, who Matt Striker had identified earlier in

the night as Miranda Delta. Dustin smirked and lifted her into his arms. He brought her to the ring. Rachel said

something, and Delta nodded. Rachel stepped over Kurt Angle and grinned. She flipped her hair back and stepped

onto Angle’s face, crushing him with her high heel. She continued to crush his face. Dustin smirked and then

turned to his wife. He kissed her and she went back to the her seat in the crowd, satisfied.

”Well, it’s all legal in a Stretcher Match, guys…Because Stretcher matches are NO DQ

matches!”

Dustin pulled Angle up and suplexed him. He went for another, but Angle countered and hit a neckbreaker.

Angle turned to Rachel in the crowd and yelled. “I’m sorry you married this son of a bi**h.” Rachel got furious and

Kurt went back to Dustin. Kurt hit a senton and pulled Dustin up and hit a lariat. Delta had a Boston Crab locked

in on him, but he rolled over and turned it into a Hell’s Gate.

”Seems as though Delta is mocking the Undertaker. He might be supporting Jericho tonight.”

”I highly doubt that.”

Kurt rolled Delta over into a Small Package, but Dustin kicked out at two. Angle pulled Delta up and hit an STO.

He then slid out of the ring and walked over to a stretcher. He grinned and Dustin looked down at him. Delta used

the ropes and launched himself into a flying Spear. Dustin threw Kurt onto the stretcher. He walked up the steel

steps and climbed the turnbuckle. He hit a moonsault and landed on the Olympic Hero. Delta rolled the stretcher

up the ramp, towards the passing line. Kurt rolled off the stretcher and punched Dustin in the face. He then hit a

kick to the groin. Delta fell onto the ramp. Angle threw him onto the stretcher and rolled it closer. Dustin rolled

back and hit a Crucifix Head Scissor Front flip onto the passing line. Delta walked back down the ramp and

pulled a steel chair from under the ring. Angle stood up and saw Dustin with the chair. The Olympic Hero looked

into the fans and got major pop. He ran down the ramp and baseball slid under Delta, stealing the chair. He hit

Dustin with the chair and then walked into the ring. Delta lay lifeless at ringside. Kurt taunted and jumped

around the ring. He received massive support from the fans.

”This is a great match tonight. Like Delta and Angle or not, you have to admit they are great

performers and wrestlers.”

”Absolutely, JR. I don’t think I’ve ever been so hyped about a match before in my life.”

Dustin stood and went under the ring, grabbing a kendo stick. He slid into the ring. Angle swung the chair, but

Delta tossed the kendo stick through the space between the seat of the chair and the back. It hit Kurt in the head,

almost ripping the skin off his forehead. Dustin did still take impact from the chair, though. The both lay in the

ring, completely unconscious. The blood dripped from their faces and stained the mat below them.

”I think that they have nothing left..”

”I THINK that they need medical attention!”

The bell rang as medics came out. They were carried away, and the fall—and the match—ended in a draw.

[sixth Match: Carlito & Primo defeated Booker T & The Hurricane to become the new World Tag Team Champions after Carlito pinned Booker T following a Backstabber.]

A Preview of the ECW Championship Match is shown.

Seventh Match: Chris Jericho vs. The Undertaker [ECW Championship Match]

Match: Jericho and The Deadman stare each other down for a good forty-five seconds. Many are saying that this

match is the biggest match of either superstar’s career, but only time will tell. Jericho rushes toward Undertaker

and goes for a Forearm Smash. He hits, but Taker doesn’t seem to be affected by the move. Again Jericho’s off the

ropes, but this time, runs into a Big Boot, courtesy of The Undertaker.

”Ouch. If you thought this match was getting off to a slow start, you haven’t seen anything yet.

These two men have completely opposite fighting styles, and that’s going to make for a moderately-paced

matchup.”

”Chris Jericho is more of a high-flyer, whereas The Undertaker is power-based. The Deadman’s

tactics are feared by superstars throughout the industry, and once he hits that Tombstone, it’s game over.”

”Chris Jericho has to play his cards carefully if he wants to win this thing. Jericho’s a great athlete,

but victory doesn’t come easy for any many when you’re facing off against The Undertaker.”

The Undertaker grabs Jericho’s right arm. He, strategically, punches Jericho in the shoulder-area of his right arm

twice to weaken that area. Taker pulls Jericho up, still holding his right arm. He twists Jericho’s arm before

ascending to the top rope. Arm locked tight, Jericho is in a situation of desperation, and is seconds away from

being hit with Old School. In a last-ditch effort, Jericho steps backwards, causing Taker to fall and land with the

top rope between his legs. The fans begin to cheer a little, as they are a mixed crowd, for Jericho. Attempting to

keep a grip on the momentum, Jericho bounces off the opposite ropes and nails Taker with a Dropkick. The

Deadman falls to the floor below.

”What an impressive counter by Jericho.”

”Undertaker was going for Old School, a move he rarely misses, but when you’re up that high and

you’re in a high-risk zone, failure could seriously damage you.”

”Chris Jericho has completely shifted the momentum. Can Jericho retain the ECW Title and end The

Undertaker’s streak?!”

The Referee begins to count The Undertaker out. Around “seven”, The Deadman gets to his feet and slides into the

ring. Jericho drags him toward the center and tries for a cover, but only gets a two count.

”Chris Jericho needs to keep on The Undertaker. If wastes time like this, it’s going to come back to

haunt him.”

Jericho looks around for a moment. He ascends to the top rope to a pretty big pop. Jericho takes to the air and

looks to hit a Diving Knee Drop on The Undertaker. The Deadman rolls out of the way before the move connects,

and Jericho crashes into the mat. Both superstars get to their feet around the same time. Jericho runs toward

Taker, and Taker responds by doing the same. Taker gets the better of it, though, nailing Jericho with a Running

DDT. The crowd cheers as The Undertaker covers Jericho. 1! 2! Kick-out! Taker picks up Jericho and Irish

Whips him into the corner. Taker runs toward Jericho and hits him with a Corner Clothesline. Jericho stumbles

out of the corner and Taker picks him up. Taker connects with Snake Eyes and bounces off the ropes before

nailing Jericho with another Big Boot.

”Uh-oh! Things aren’t looking good for Jericho right about now!”

The Undertaker signals for a Chokeslam. Jericho, dazed, gets to his feet and walks right into it! Chokeslam! It’s

over! 1! 2! Thr..Jericho kicks-out!

”What in the world?! Chris Jericho just kicked out!”

The Undertaker looks around in disbelief. He, this time, climbs to the top rope. Jericho gets to his feet and The

Undertaker goes for a Diving Clothesline. Codebreaker out of nowhere! Jericho hits it! 1! 2! The Undertaker

rolls the shoulder up! Jericho bounces off the ropes and goes for a Lionsault, but gets The Undertaker’s knees

instead. Jericho holds his chest in pain as The Deadman sits up. He looks toward Jericho. Jericho gets to his feet

and The Undertaker goes for the Tombstone to a huge pop. Jericho slides out of it, though. Taker kicks Jericho in

the chest and plants him with a Last Ride.

”Last Ride! Last Ride! The Undertaker’s gonna win this thing!”

The Undertaker hooks the legs! 1! 2! Another miraculous kick-out from Jericho! Taker picks Jericho up and hits

him with a Right Hand. He goes for another, but Jericho blocks it and connects with a Right Hand of his own. The

two start to exchange blows; a battle which The Undertaker gets the better of, taking Jericho down with a final

Right Hand. Taker bounces off the ropes and goes for a Standing Leg Drop, but Jericho hits a Drop Toe Hold and

Taker falls into the ropes. Jericho gets to his feet and bounces off the ropes before jumping, knee-first, onto The

Deadman’s back. Jericho applies The Walls of Jericho, dragging Taker to the center of the ring.

”Is Jericho going to end the streak?!”

The Undertaker, rather quickly, drags himself to the ropes, forcing Jericho to break the hold. Jericho walks

toward the opposite end of the ring to recover. He turns around, and The Undertaker nails him with a Running

Leaping Clothesline. Both superstars are now down and the Referee begins the count. Jericho gets to his feet,

shortly followed by The Deadman. Jericho tries to Irish Whip Taker, but Taker reverses it and Irish Whips Jericho

over the top rope and out of the ring. Taker flips backwards over the ropes and picks up Jericho. He slams

Jericho’s head into the Spanish Announce Table before throwing him onto it.

”Oh my god! This can’t be good!”

The Undertaker takes the top off of the Spanish Announce Table. The Referee tries to get them to come back into

the ring, but it’s to no avail. The Referee begins counting. The Undertaker picks Jericho up and sets him up for a

Tombstone.

”No not this!”

The fans begin to cheer. Jericho slides out again, landing behind The Undertaker. Jericho turns The Deadman

around, and hits a Codebreaker through the Spanish Announce Table! The Referee’s count is now at nine, and

both superstars are lifeless on the ringside floor. The Referee’s count reaches seven. Slowly, Jericho gets to his

feet. He crawls back into the ring as the Referee's count reaches eight. The Undertaker sits up, gets to his feet,

and runs to the ring right before the Referee says ten. Jericho hits Undertaker with a Right Hand. Jericho goes for

a Springboard Moonsault, but The Undertaker catches him! Tombstone! Tombstone! Cover by The Undertaker!

1! 2! 3!

Winner: The Undertaker

”It’s over! The Undertaker is the new ECW Champion!”

”What a match! Chris Jericho was seconds away from retaining the ECW Championship!”

”That was one of the best matches I've ever seen.”

"Excitement is buzzing throughout the WWE Universe after last night's events! Let's not forget, the WWE Draft takes place one week from tonight on Monday, April 13, 2009!"

"I can't wait for that one! Things are going to get shaken up for sure!"

"That's for sure! And speaking of shaking things up, we're going to have a Champion vs. Champion Match when Raw's Kane battles ECW's Dustin Delta!"

Kane vs. Dustin Delta [Champion vs. Champion Match] [Tonight]

Randy Orton theme

The crowd boos as The Legend Killer, less than twenty-four hours removed from his grueling match with Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 25, enters the arena. He is wearing a suit, which means it's likely that he won't be competing tonight. There is a bandage across his forehead from last night's match.

"This man right here competed in a Falls Count Anywhere Match with Shawn Michaels that was unlike any match I've ever witnessed. The h*ll those two put each other through is almost undescribable."

"Randy Orton did defeat Shawn Michaels last night, but I don't think he felt like a winner after that match."

Orton enters the ring slowly, showing signs that he is in immense pain, and gets a microphone.

"I told you." Orton looks around at the crowd. They respond with boos, but the look on Orton's face suggests he doesn't give a d*mn. "I told each and every one of you. I said I would defeat Shawn Michaels, and I did. Sure, Shawn put me through h*ll. But I did the same to him. Shawn Michaels and I competed in what was probably the most difficult match of our respective careers. And even when it seemed like I was going to lose, I held on, and I emerged victorious. So to all of you that assumed Shawn Michaels was going to win..all of you that expected Shawn Michaels to win..all of you that WANTED Shawn Michaels to win..I say too bad. Too d*mn bad! I am Randy Orton! I am The Legend Killer! I should be the World Heavyweight Champion right now! But no; I never get what I deserve! That doesn't matter, though. That's all a thing of the past. This thing with Shawn Michaels was holding me back..but not anymore. Last night, at Wrestlemania, I put an end to the problem in my life that was Shawn Michaels. Shawn blames me for his wife and his kids leaving him. He blames me for his family not wanting anything to do with him anymore. Well you know what? It's his own d*mn fault! Shawn Michaels brought this upon himself, and now it's become too much for him to handle. Last night at Wrestlemania, I showed the world-and Shawn Michaels-that HBK has no place in this business."

Orton drops the microphone and exits the ring as his music begins to play. He walks to the back, ignoring the boos from the crowd.

Commercial break

Batista theme

The crowd goes wild as The Animal's music hits and Batista enters the arena. He yells to the crowd, to hype them-and himself-up before walking onto the ramp. He flexes his muscles and taunts as a bunch of fireworks explode across the stage. He moves his right hand in a punch-like motion and more fireworks explode.

"Welcome back to Raw-and King-how about what we just heard from Randy Orton moments ago?"

"I don't know what to say, really. Randy Orton delivered what he said in a very strong manner, and only time will tell if he really did put Shawn Michaels away."

Cody Rhodes theme

Cody Rhodes enters the arena, accompanied by Manu. Rhodes jumps in place-if you will-on the ramp for a moment before looking at Batista and making his way to the ring.

"A couple of weeks ago, Batista was attacked-and seemingly injured-by Devon Immortal. We were all surprised when Batista returned the next week and destroyed Randy Orton. Still, because Batista lost to Devon Immortal, he was unable to compete at Wrestlemania. Let's see if Batista can defeat the rising star that is Cody Rhodes."

"Cody Rhodes and Manu have been very impressive as of late. Still, it takes more than winning a few matches to be a match for Batista. No pun intended."

First Match: Batista vs. Cody Rhodes (w/Manu)

Rhodes and Batista stand opposite each other in the ring. Rhodes eyes Batista, and occasionally turns his glance to the crowd. Having decided upon an attack strategy, Rhodes suggests to Batista that they lock up in the center of the ring. They do so, and Batista overpowers Rhodes with ease. Batista kicks Rhodes in the chest and throws him into the corner. Batista hits Rhodes with some Shoulder Thrusts in the corner, before Irish Whipping Rhodes to the opposite corner. The force behind the move causes Rhodes to smash into the turnbuckle and fall to the mat. Batista drags Rhodes near the center of the ring and covers him, but Rhodes kicks out at two.

"The power of Batista never fails to impress me. If Rhodes wants to win, he better think of a strategy that doesn't involve trying to overpower The Animal."

"That's for sure. Rhodes is going to need to use his speed to his advantage, and use it to wear Batista down."

Batista picks Rhodes up. He attempts an Oklahoma Slam, but Rhodes slides down Batista's back and pushes The Animal into the turnbuckle. Rhodes Dropkicks Batista in the back, causing him to hit the turnbuckle once more, and tries a Schoolboy Pin, but to no avail as The Animal kicks out at two. Rhodes hits Batista with a Clothesline, but it has no effect on The Animal. Rhodes tries a Clothesline again, but Batista ducks it. Batista bounces off the ropes and hits Rhodes with a Clothesline, causing the Second-Generation Superstar to flip over backwards and hit the mat.

"Wow! What a display of power!"

"Cody Rhodes is gonna be feeling that one for a while!"

Batista tries to pick Rhodes up, but Rhodes rolls him into a Small Package! 1! 2! Batista rolls out of it. Rhodes hits Batista with a Dropkick.

"Talk about a nicely executed Dropkick! This could be Cody Rhodes' chance to shift the momentum in his favor!"

Rhodes applies a Reverse Chinlock to The Animal. Batista stands up and runs backwards towards the turnbuckle, slamming Rhodes into the turnbuckle in the process. The Animal backs up and goes for a Corner Clothesline, but Rhodes moves out of the way. Batista turns around to see Rhodes running at him and nails Rhodes with a Spear. Batista looks around the arena, gets a huge pop, and begins to shake the ropes violently.

"Batista's feeling it!"

Rhodes gets to his feet slowly, only to meet his demise as The Animal plants Rhodes with a Batista Bomb! Cover! 1! 2! 3!

Winner: Batista

"And Batista picks up the victory! What a match!"

"Thanks for comin', Cody! Better luck next time!"

"Well, coming up next, the new WWE Tag Team Champions, Cryme Tyme, are going to compete in some Tag Team Action!"

Commercial break

Cryme Tyme theme

The Boys from Brooklyn enter the arena to a huge pop. They each run to a side of the stage and hold up their WWE Tag Team Title Belt before making their way to the ring.

"We're back, and it's time for some Tag Team Action!"

"Last night at Wrestlemania, Cryme Tyme stole the show by defeating Mike Knox and Snitsky to become WWE Tag Team Champions for the first time in their careers!"

Shelton Benjamin theme

The Gold Standard enters the arena, fresh off an impressive performance in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. He gets booed, but he gets a few cheers too. It's likely that the fans respect him for his performance in last night's match.

The Miz theme

The Miz enters the arena with a look of arrogance on his face. He yells at a few of the fans as he walks to the ring.

Second Match: Cryme Tyme vs. Shelton Benjamin & The Miz

Match: JTG starts things off with Benjamin. Benjamin goes for a Clothesline, but JTG ducks it and hits him with some swift Right Hands. JTG bounces off the ropes to hit a Clothesline, but Benjamin hits him with a Flapjack Slam. Benjamin goes for an early cover, but JTG gets the shoulder up. JTG gets to his feet and drops Benjamin with a Dropkick. He makes a Tag to Shad, who comes in the ring as Benjamin gets up and takes The Gold Standard down with a Clothesline. Miz runs in the ring, but Shad hits him with a Big Boot. The fans cheer as Shad yells "Money, Money, Yeah, Yeah" and the crowd joins him. Shad bounces off the ropes and hits a Standing Leg Drop on Benjamin. Shad hooks the leg, but Benjamin kicks out at two.

"Cryme Tyme won Title Gold for the first time last night, and they're proving that they deserve that Gold in this match."

"It's not easy to keep someone like Shelton Benjamin down, but Cryme Tyme is doing a good job at it."

Miz extends his hand for a Tag. Shad picks Benjamin up and tries to Suplex him, but Benjamin lands on his feet and hits a Reverse Neckbreaker on Shad. Benjamin makes the Tag to Miz, who comes in and tries to pin Shad, but to no avail as Shad kicks out at one. Miz picks Shad up and Irish Whips him into the corner. He runs toward Shad and hits him with a Lariat. The crowd boos as Miz yells something insulting at them. He pulls Shad out of the corner and hits him with a DDT. Miz goes for the cover, but again Shad kicks out. JTG gets the crowd to start clapping and extends his hand for a Tag. Shad tries to make the Tag, but Miz pulls Shad toward the opposite corner. Miz makes the Tag to Benjamin while holding Shad's leg. Benjamin jumps over the ropes and hits a Leg Drop on Shad. Benjamin tries the cover, but JTG makes the save.

"That was a close call."

"Shelton Benjamin and The Miz know how to function as a Team, as do Shad and JTG. That's what makes this match interesting."

Benjamin Irish Whips Shad, and goes for a Back Body Drop, but Shad hits Benjamin with a Big Boot as Benjamin starts to bend down. The crowd goes wild as Shad makes the Tag to JTG. JTG jumps over the ropes and Benjamin gets in his face. JTG drops Benjamin with a Right Hand, followed by a Scoop Slam. JTG runs toward Miz and hits him with a Right Hand, knocking him off of the apron. Benjamin goes for Paydirt, but JTG blocks it and elbows Benjamin in the side of the head. Benjamin turns around..JTG off the ropes..G-9 connects! JTG hooks the legs! 1! 2! 3!

Winners: Cryme Tyme

"JTG just pinned Shelton Benjamin! Cryme Tyme continues to roll!"

"Both teams showed valiant effort, but in the end only one team could emerge victorious!"

Commercial break

Todd Grisham is standing in the back.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, Rey Mysterio." The fans cheer as Rey Mysterio walks up to Todd Grisham. "Rey, last night at Wrestlemania, you were literally seconds away from becoming the World Heavyweight Champion. Unfortunately for you, Kane caught you in mid-air and Chokeslammed you to retain the Title. Your thoughts?"

"Todd, I'm not gonna complain about losing. It was a hard-fought match, and Kane managed to win. But I think Kane and everyone else knows that I was-like you said-seconds away from winning. So I'm not here to give some kind of sob-story. I'm here to issue a challenge. Kane, what do you say you and I go one-on-one at Backlash for the World Heavyweight Championship?" The fans go wild as Mysterio hands the microphone back to Todd Grisham.

"Rey Mysterio issuing the challenge; what will Kane have to say? We'll find out tonight when Kane goes one-on-one with Dustin Delta!"

Kane vs. Dustin Delta [Champion vs. Champion Match] [Tonight]

"But before that, Finlay is going to go one-on-one with Lord Smith to begin Round 2 of the United States Championship Tournament! And tomorrow night on ECW, Round 2 will continue when Ted DiBiase battles Tyson Kidd!"

Finlay stood in the ring, awaiting his opponent.

[url=]Lord Smith theme

Lord Smith entered the RAW arena. He walked down the ramp, as regally as normal.

”Lord Smith performed very well last night in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, but very well didn’t cut it.”

Smith stepped into the ring and put his crown and staff down.

“Ladies and Gentleman, this is the first match of the Second Round of the United States Title Tournament. The winner of this match will advance to the 3rd round, and will be one step closer to facing Dustin Delta at Backlash for the United States Championship! Introducing first, FINLAY! And his opponent, Lorrrrddd Smith!”

Third Match: Finlay vs. Lord Smith

Finlay started with some punches. Lord Smith grabbed the 6th punch and wrenched Finlay’s arm. He delivered a kick to the groin and then hit a European Uppercut. Smith finished the barrage with a facebuster. Finlay jumped up and delivered a high knee and a jab. Finlay hit a second jab and then a suplex.

”Quite a back and forth match.”

Finlay hit 2 elbow drops. He pulled Lord Smith up and delivered a powerslam to the self-proclaimed “King of RAW.” Finlay pulled him up again and hit a Celtic Cross and pinned Smith.

Winner: Finlay [Advances to Round 3]

"Lord Smith just got a royal butt-kicking!" King laughs.

"It looks like Lord Smith won't be advancing in the tournament. But now the time for fun is over. Up next, we're going to hear from a man that almost became the World Heavyweight Champion last night. A man that single-handedly put Kane out of action for a good portion of the Fatal-Four-Way Match last night. Next, we're going to hear from Devon Immortal."

Devon Immortal [up Next]

Commercial break

Devon Immortal enters the arena with a new, slower, theme song. He walks to the ring, shooting negative looks at some of the fans, who proceed to boo him. He doesn't really care, though.

"Devon Immortal has never been much of a fan-favorite, but he's changed to much since he made his debut here in the WWE."

"Ever since he became Randy Orton's "apprentice", Devon Immortal has become much more violent. However, it seems like things between Devon Immortal and Randy Orton aren't good, as Orton attacked Immortal a few weeks ago."

Immortal enters the ring and gets a microphone. The fans boo him and chant "You Suck!". "Shut up! I'm not in the mood to listen to you idiots run your stupid, insolent mouths! I'm out here for one reason and one reason only. I should be the World Heavyweight Champion! I had that match won, and I was screwed out of a victory. I know that Rey Mysterio issued a challenge to Kane earlier tonight, but Rey doesn't deserve a Title Match. I do. And Kane, I demand that at Backlash, you defend the World Heavyweight Championship against me!" Immortal gets major heat from the crowd as he looks around the arena. He smiles. "Now, I have something else I'd like to say. Randy Orton and I had a bit of a falling out a couple of weeks ago, but I still have respect for him. And Randy, when I become the World Heavyweight Champion, I want to defend the Championship against you. It'll be the two youngest World Heavyweight Champions in WWE History going one-on-one for the Title! See, I.."

The crowd goes absolutely nuts as Michaels' music hits. Devon's eyes widen in disbelief and seconds later Michaels appears on the stage, heavily bandaged.

"OH MY!"

"It's Shawn Michaels! He's here!"

Devon Immortal drops the microphone and exits the ring. He gets a steel chair and brings it into the ring. He motions for Michaels to come to the ring, and yells "Come on!". Michaels starts to run to the ring and Devon Immortal tries to hit him with the chair. Michaels ducks, and Immortal turns around. Micheals hits Sweet Chin Music on the chair, kicking it into Immortal's face. Michaels picks up the chair and smashes Immortal repeatedly-about eight times- with the chair, before throwing it on the ground. The chair is completely bent in the middle.

"Good God Shawn Michaels just destroyed that chair and Devon Immortal!"

"Apparently Randy Orton didn't end Shawn Michaels' career!"

"I don't like Devon Immortal, but he's going to need medical attention!"

Ace Diamond runs to the ring and says something to Michaels along the lines of "What are you doin?!". Michaels doesn't pay any attention to Ace. Michaels, emotionless, exits the ring and walks to the back as Ace watches on from inside the ring.

"Ace Diamond trying to talk some sense into Shawn Michaels, but it had no effect."

"I wonder what's going on in Shawn Michaels' head. This is just ridiculous.

Commercial break

Dustin Delta theme

Dustin Delta and a sexy woman with long blonde hair, purple makeup on her eyes, a white top that had sleeves that went around her arms, not on her shoulders, and that ended before it reached her stomach, silver and white panties, and white high heel shoes entered the arena. They kissed on the stage.

”Michael, if I’m correct, Matt Striker identified that same woman at WrestleMania 25 as Rachel Delta, Dustin’s wife.”

”As far as I know, King.”

The couple walked down the ramp, Dustin holding his wife in his arms. Dustin slid into the ring and then held down the second rope so Rachel could enter. Delta held up his United States Championship and then went to the corner to get a microphone.

“My first match at WrestleMania. How exhilarating! Especially when I won.”

The crowd yelled “WHAT?”

“That’s right. I won. It was a 2/3 FALLS match, right? Kurt Angle’s submission wasn’t a fall. I had the most pins, so I won the match. Right, sweetheart?

Rachel nodded and wrapped her arm around Dustin’s, giving the WWE Universe a Layla El-like smile.

“Speaking of my wife, she is going to be accompanying me to the ring as a manager from now on. And that’s not all. Starting next week, she will be a diva on my brand. I want her to be on the same brand as me after the draft. If she didn't start wrestling on ECW tomorrow, I could be drafted and we’d have to be apart. And we don’t want that, do we?”

Dustin kissed Rachel and dropped the mic. Rachel took Delta’s title and held it up in a sexy pose, which sort of grabbed the attention of the guys in the crowd, but they booed at Delta non the less.

"Now, I have to face Kane tonight. I have to be honest; Kane doesn't intimidate me one bit. As a matter of fact, I'll go as far as to say I'm going to defeat Kane. Right here, right now. So come on big man; get out here and fight me like a man!"

Rachel exits the ring with Delta's United States Championship Belt.

"Is Dustin Delta serious? Does he really think he can defeat Kane?"

"I don't know, but I do know one thing; Delta's wife is smokin' hot!"

The Big Red Machine enters the arena to a huge pop as streams of fire rise on the stage. The World Heavyweight Championship is over Kane's shoulder as he walks to the ring. He enters the ring, hands the Title to the Referee, and raises his arms in the air. He brings his arms down with great force and fire explodes from all four corners of the ring. Delta jumps a little, but plays it off.

Main Event: Kane vs. Dustin Delta [Champion vs. Champion Match]

Match: Delta, in an attempt to impress his wife-one could only guess-slaps Kane in the face. The fans boo, but start to cheer when Kane blasts Delta with an Uppercut. Delta collapses to the mat. Kane picks Delta up and throws him into the corner. Kane elbows Delta in the side of the head a few times before hitting him with some Right Hands to the chest. Delta falls to his knees, signs of pain on his face. His wife slams on the ring apron, trying to will her husband on. She yells at Kane, who turns toward her. Delta takes advantage of the distraction and puts his fists together before hitting Kane in the back of the head. Delta begins to stomp at Kane's back, but the Referee begins to count and Delta stops at four, engaging in a brief "conversation" with the Referee.

"Delta's wife provided the distraction, and now Delta is in control."

"I was gonna say having his wife accompany him to the ring might be a burden on Delta, but it seems just the opposite."

Delta turns around and is "startled" as Kane sits up with a look of anger on his face. The crowd cheers as Kane gets to his feet and Delta backs into the corner. Kane goes for a Right Hand, but Delta ducks and hits Kane with a Right Hand of his own. Delta attacks Kane in the corner with some Right Hands and kicks, but the Referee gets Delta off of Kane. Delta runs for a Corner Clothesline, but Kane dodges it and hits an Oklahoma Slam. Kane goes for the cover! 1! 2! Delta rolls the shoulder up. Kane picks Delta up. Kane tries for a Chokeslam, but Delta counters into a DDT. Delta begins to attack Kane's right leg, stomping on it, before applying a Single Leg Boston Crab. Kane yells in pain before crawling to the ropes and grabbing them, forcing Delta to break the hold. Delta drags Kane to the center of the ring and picks up Kane's leg before slamming it into the mat. Kane rolls over and grabs his leg in pain.

"It's not often you see Kane in a position like this. Dustin Delta is just working on that leg of Kane."

"That's how you beat Kane. You keep him grounded, and you work on a part of his body-like his legs- that he needs in order to use that power that he has."

Kane gets to his feet and goes for a Clothesline. Delta ducks it and bounces off the ropes. Delta hits a Chop Block to the back of Kane's right knee. Kane falls to the mat in pain, once again grabbing his leg. Delta picks Kane up and goes for a Clothesline, but Kane manages to counter into a Sidewalk Slam. Kane hooks the legs, but Delta kicks out at two. Kane picks Delta up and goes for a Two-Handed Chokebomb, but Delta struggles out of it. Kane falls to the mat because of his weakened leg. Delta goes for a Delta Bomb.

Kurt Angle theme

Kurt Angle's music hits to a huge pop and Delta pushes Kane to the mat and turns his attention toward the TitanTron. Nothing happens. The crowd cheers as Kane sits up once again and gets to his feet. Delta doesn't realize this, and is a bit surprised when he turns around. Kane grabs Delta by the throat, and drives him into the mat with a Chokeslam. Kane hooks the leg! 1! 2! 3!

Winner: Kane

"Kane won! Kurt Angle's entrance music distracted Dustin Delta, and Kane connected with the Chokeslam!"

"Talk about an intense match! Dustin Delta was impressive, but when the music of his current rival, Kurt Angle, hit, it was game over for Delta!"

Kane leaves the ring as Delta's wife, Rachel, enters the ring to check on her husband.

Kurt Angle theme

Angle's music hits again, and this time Kurt Angle appears on the stage, wearing a microphone. He smiles. "Hey Delta, you may have "won" last night, but you don't look like a winner right now. I tell you what, since you "won" at Wrestlemania, I don't think our problem is settled. So I'm challenging you to a match at Backlash! I don't expect an answer right now, so give me one tomorrow night on ECW!"

Red fireworks explode across the stage as the next exciting of ECW is set to begin!

Dustin and Rachel walk onto the stage, Dustin has a mic. Dustin wraps his right arm around Rachel and begins to walk down the ramp. The music stops.

“What a blast from the past. Matt Hardy, Dustin Delta. That was the second match of my career. The first was against the Green Bay Loudmouth, Mr. Kennedy. The only differences this time though is my wife is in my corner…and for what might be my last match on ECW, I’m gonna win. Oh, and regarding Kurt Angle's challenge. I decline. I have nothing else to prove to Kurt Angle, and therefore I'm going to move on with my career.”

The Deltas now stood in the ring. Dustin threw his black jacket into the crowd and then turned to the stage.

A huge pop of Matt as he entered the arena. He ran down the ramp and into the ring to confront Dustin.

First Match: Dustin Delta vs. Matt Hardy

Delta comes quick with a bicycle kick. He stomped on Matt’s face and then hit a knee drop to the throat. He pulled Hardy up only to get a body blow. Matt kicked Delta in the face and Rachel yelled. Matt went to baseball slide her, but Delta turned it into a Boston Crab. He pulled Matt to the center of the ring. Matt broke the hold and tossed Dustin to the ropes.

”Matt Hardy and Dustin Delta both evenly matched here.”

Matt went to end it early with a Twist of Fate. Rachel yelled at Matt. Hardy turned and told Dustin's wife to shut up. Matt turned back and Dustin looked at him emotionlessly. He kicked Hardy, up into a electric chair, flipped into a jacknife, hit the Delta Bomb, and pinned Hardy to pick up the win.

Winner: Dustin Delta

John Morrison & Dolph Ziggler [up Next]

Commercial break

John Morrison theme

The crowd shows their disapproval through boos as John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler enter the arena. Morrison walks to the end of the stage - wearing his signature jacket - and taunts, holding up his ECW Tag Team Title Belt. He looks at Ziggler, who nods, and they walk to the ring.

"Welcome back to ECW, and what a show it's gonna be!"

"It's always gonna be a good show when John Morrison is out here! At least Morrison thinks so."

Morrison gets two microphones and hands one to Ziggler.

"It's okay, you don't have to keep cheering for us." Morrison states smugly as the crowd continues to boo. "We really appreciate it, but you ought to show some appreciation for other superstars. Superstars that aren't on our level. Basically, the rest of the ECW Roster." The crowd boos and Morrison holds up the Title Belt again.

"You see, my name is Dolph Ziggler." Ziggler states, smiling. "And that's a name that will be remembered throughout ECW forever. I've only been a WWE Superstar for a few months, and I've already won Championship Gold on two separate occassions. There is no Tag Team better than John Morrison and myself, and we continue to prove that each and every week."

"Ziggler's right, guys. We have the looks, we have the strength, and we have the unity. Everything you need to be successful in the wrestling business. But we're not going to stand our here any longer. You people don't deserve to be gifted with our presence. Greats like us.."

Evan Bourne theme

The crowd leaps to their feet as Evan Bourne's music hits, and they begin to cheer as the extreme high-flyer himself and Ren -his newfound friend, if you will - enter the arena. They taunt on the stage before running to the ring. Morrison and Ziggler look a bit confused as the duo enters the ring and walks up to them.

"Excuse me you unimportant losers, but.."

Bourne grabs the microphone from Morrison. "Yeah yeah we know. You two are so great; there's no one better. Blah blah blah." Morrison shrugs his shoulders. "But we do have a question. If you're so great, and no one can beat you, why don't you put your ECW Tag Team Titles on the line against us? Right here, right now!"

The fans go wild as Morrison takes the microphone back from Bourne. He looks at Ziggler, who nods. "You want a Title Match? Fine. We accept. John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler are the best of the best - and you two are going to learn that soon enough."

"Woah! It looks like we're gonna have a Tag Title Match!"

"For only the second time, the ECW Tag Team Championships will be defended here on ECW! Next!"

Commercial break

Second Match: John Morrison & Dolph Ziggler vs. Evan Bourne & Ren [ECW Tag Team Championship Match]

Match: We return from the commercial break to see that the match has already started. John Morrison had Evan Bourne in a Side Headlock, and both superstars are on the mat. Ren - through clapping - gives support to his partner, who starts to get to his feet. Bourne gets to his feet, and elbows Morrison in the chest. He bounces off the ropes and goes for a Clothesline, but Morrison ducks it and hits a Reverse Neckbreaker. Morrison hooks the leg but only gets a two count. Quickly, Morrison reapplies the Side Headlock. Bourne - with a burst of strength - leaps to his feet, only to be hit with a Snapmare Toss, followed a Dropkick to the back. Morrison tries for another cover, but again Bourne kicks out. Tired, Morrison drags Bourne to his corner and makes the Tag to Ziggler. Morrison holds Bourne's legs while Ziggler stomps his chest. The Referee orders Morrison out of the ring. Ziggler hits a Standing Elbow Drop on Morrison, followed by a Standing Leg Drop. Ziggler hooks the legs, but Bourne kicks out at two.

"If Evan Bourne and Ren want a chance of winning this match, Bourne needs to make the Tag. Morrison and Ziggler have been dominant since the opening bell."

"John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler defeated Tyson Kidd and D.H. Smith a couple of weeks ago on ECW when the Tag Titles were on the line. If they can defeat superstars trained in the Hart Dungeon, there's not many superstars they won't be able to beat."

"John Morrison a former Intercontinental Champion, ECW Champion, and the only superstar in WWE History to hold the ECW Tag Team Championships, the World Tag Team Championships, and the WWE Tag Team Championships. Although that's understandable because the ECW Tag Team Championships were just instituted about a month ago."

"Let's go Evan!" chants begin to fill the arena as Ren tries to will his partner to make a Tag. Bourne gets to his feet and hits Ziggler with a Right Hand. He tries to run to his corner, but Ziggler trips him and grabs his leg. Bourne gets up quickly - Ziggler still holding his leg - and nails Ziggler with an Inziguri. The crowd begins to cheer as Bourne crawls to the corner.

"Bourne's gonna make the Tag! Ren wants in this match!"

Bourne connects with the Tag and the crowd goes wild. Ziggler makes a Tag to Morrison as well. Morrison runs in the ring and Ren leaps onto the ropes - not the turnbuckle ropes - and hits a Springboard Missle Dropkick to a huge pop.

"Oh my God! What athleticism!"

Ren hooks the legs! 1! 2! Thr-no! John Morrison kicks out. Ren wastes little time and gets to his feet. He picks Morrison up and Irish Whips him into the corner. Ren rushes toward the corner and grabs Morrison, hitting him with a Running Monkey Flip. Again the crowd cheers as Ren leaps to the top rope. The Referee checks on Morrison, and Ziggler takes advantage of the distraction, pushing Ren off of the ropes and sending him crashing to the mat below. The crowd boos as Morrison gets to his feet and picks up Ren. He goes for the Moonlight Drive, but Ren counters. Ren kicks Morrison in the chest and connects with a DDT. Cover by Ren! 1! 2! And again Morrison kicks out!

"How close was that?! We almost crowned new ECW Tag Team Champions!"

Morrison makes the Tag to Ziggler, who comes in and tries to hit Ren with a Right Hand. Ren ducks the move and hits Ziggler with a Hurracanrana, sending him into the mat with great force. Ren makes the Tag to Evan Bourne. Bourne comes in the ring and goes for the Shooting Star Press, but Ziggler gets to his feet and grabs Bourne. He tries to Suplex him off of the turnbuckle, but Bourne battles back with some Right Hands. Ziggler falls, and Bourne goes for the Shooting Star Press again, but Ziggler moves out of the way. Both superstars get to their feet. Morrison runs in the ring and goes for a Springboard Kick, but he accidentally hits Ziggler, who flips over backwards. Ren runs in the ring and Clothesline himself and Morrison over the top rope. Bourne drags Ziggler to the corner and connects with the Shooting Star Press! 1! 2! 3! We have new ECW Tag Team Champions!

Winners [and the new ECW Tag Team Champions]: Evan Bourne & Ren

"They did it! They won! Evan Bourne and Ren have won Title Gold for the first time in their careers! What a great match!"

"And it's all thanks to John Morrison! He accidentally kicked Ziggler in the head, and that Springboard Kick will knock your lights out!"

Commercial break

Tony Chimel: This next match is set for one-fall!... Introducing first… From Battle Creak, Michigan! Weighing in at two hundred and five pounds… The CHAAINNN!

Chain is already in the ring – his face is painted in black, making him look somewhat scary. He wears a dog-chain, and black tights, with no shirt. Scars on his chest. The crowd cheers him for being from the hometown!

Tony Chimel: And the opponent… From Perry, Oklahoma… Weighing in at two hundred and sixty pounds… MISTER MONEY IN THE BANK!!! JJAAACCCKKKK SSSSWAAAGGGEERRR!

Jack Swagger theme

Jack Swagger walks out onto the stage, briefcase in hand. He holds it high, taunting the crowd – smile across his face. He makes his way down to the ring, not losing his smile. Once he gets to the ring, he gestures for a microphone, which he receives. His music fades as Swagger goes to speak, but pulls away laughing. Lifting the microphone again.

"Jack Swagger won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at Wrestlemania-- as is evident by that Briefcase in his hand."

"And what a match that was, Matt."

"One of the best matches I've ever called."

Jack Swagger: You know what’s funny? I bet, I bet over half you people, didn’t think I’d win Money In The Bank. You all underestimated me. But guess what? I won! I won! And now, with this briefcase, I can now cash it in, whenever I want to and whichever championship I want. Haha. The best part of it is – I was right, you were all wrong! Come on, start the match.

DING, DING! The crowd boos Swagger after those cold words, but Swagger seems to be so happy, he’s taking out all his happiness on Chain! Swagger runs and hits a hard clothesline, knocking him down! Chain gets back up and is hit with another clothesline! This time, Chain gets up slower – but he’s ploughed over with a strong shoulder block! Chain jumps back, and is caught into a belly-to-belly suplex! Swagger hangs on to him, lifts him, and rushes him into the turnbuckle! Swagger moves back and performs a powerful lariat to the turnbuckle on Chain! Chain falls, weak! He gets up and is hit with a strong BOOT to the face! Swagger grabs Chain, and hits the SWAGGER BOMB! “1… 2… 3!” DING, DING!

It’s over! Swagger smiles and stands in victory. Swagger dominated the whole match and proved why he’s one of the best on ECW today.

"Ouch. What was that--forty-five seconds? Jack Swagger just destroyed The Chain. If he continues to perform like that, Jack Swagger won't need the Money in the Bank Briefcase to win a Championship."

"That's for sure."

"Still to come tonight, the new ECW Champion - The Undertaker - goes one-on-one with The World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry!"

The Undertaker vs. Mark Henry [Tonight]

Eve Torres is standing in the back.

"Good evening everyone. Please welcome my guest at this time - the former ECW Champion, Chris Jericho!" Cheers can be heard from inside the arena as Jericho appears on the TitanTron. "How's it going, Chris?"

"I've been better, but I'm alright. Thanks for asking."

"Chris, two nights ago at Wrestlemania you competed in a legendary match with The Undertaker. Many people are saying that it is one of the best Wrestlemania Matches of all time. Unfortunately for you, The Undertaker won the match and became the new ECW Champion. Your thoughts?"

"I have a great amount of respect for The Undertaker--I really do. The Deadman, The Phenom, The Legend--he's truly great. He's undefeated at Wrestlemania. As of this past Sunday, his record is 17-0. I have no problem admitting that The Undertaker defeated me. But I do have a Rematch Clause. I do intend to cash it in. And I do intend to regain my ECW Championship!" "Y2J" chants begin to fill the arena as Jericho walks away.

"How awesome is that? We're going to see a Wrestlemania Rematch sometime in the near future. Well, coming up next, Ted DiBiase will go one-on-one with Tyson Kidd!"

Ted DiBiase vs. Tyson Kidd [up Next]

Commercial break

We return from the commercial break and medics appear on the TitanTron. They're running through the hallway and they stop in front of a door. They open it and find Evan Bourne and Ren inside the locker room with an unconscious Ted DiBiase.

"What happened?!" One of the medics yelled.

"We don't know; we came by to wish DiBiase luck tonight and found him layin' on the ground."

Tyson Kidd theme

The fans boo as Tyson Kidd enters the arena. He is sporting a black leather vest and a pair of red wrestling tights.

"Ted DiBiase was found unconscious in the back - as we just saw - but I don't think Tyson Kidd realizes this."

"I wonder what's going on? Someone had to have attacked DiBiase, but who was it?"

Kidd enters the ring and the Referee explains the situation to him. Kidd gets a microphone. "So my opponent was found knocked out in the back, and unable to compete? That's unfortunate - it really is - but I think I should win the match by forfeit. I was not responsible for what happened to him, and since he can't come out here and compete, I deserve to win."

The Referee nods at Tony Chimel. "Ladies and gentlemen, your winner by forfeit..Tyson.."

Theodore Long theme

The crowd begins to cheer as the ECW General Manager enters the arena with a microphone.

"Holla holla holla! Now I'm runnin low on time right now, so I gotta make this quick. Tyson Kidd, Ted DiBiase will not be able to compete because of his state, so he will be removed from the tournament. Tonight, you can have the night off, but next week, you'll be fighting for your spot in the tournament. And your opponent will be The Wrestling Machine Kurt Angle!"

The fans go wild as Kidd's eyes widen in surprise.

"Woah! Kurt Angle's gonna be competing against Tyson Kidd next week!"

"But up next, our Main Event! The Undertaker battles Mark Henry!"

I'll accept it, but I won't have him debut as Axle's Tag Team Partner, because I plan for Axle to have a rivalry with Shelton Benjamin first.
