”Oh boy! The Game cashes in his Rematch Clause and challenges CM Punk for the WWE Championship that he lost just one week ago! That one’s gonna be great!”

”And, as promised earlier today, another Money in the Bank Qualifying Match will take place!”

sdbox25SmackdownTonight.jpg

”Mond Black got off to a good start, winning his first WWE Match, but then he suffered a knee injury, and had to be out of action for over a month to get it repaired. Tonight, he makes his return to the ring to battle The Gold Standard, Shelton Benjamin!”

”And speaking of returns, the long-awaited return of Umaga will take place tonight!”

”The Samoan Bulldozer is going to get back on a path of destruction, right here tonight!”

*Bell rings.*

“This Tag Team Contest is scheduled for one fall!”

Christian theme

Christian enters the arena to tons of cheers from the Grenwich crowd. He high-fives a bunch of fans as he makes his way to the ring, ready for some Tag Team Action.

R Truth theme

Smackdown’s hip-hop superstar makes his way to the ring through the crowd. He gets a major pop, showing that he’s definitely a fan-favorite.

The Brian Kendrick theme

Some heat for Kendrick as he appears on the stage. He dances for a minute before walking slowly to the end of the ramp, and stopping.

”A bit of a reunion of sorts tonight for The Brian Kendrick as he teams with his former bodyguard, if you will, Ezekiel Jackson.”

”Ezekiel Jackson and The Brian Kendrick were seperated when Kendrick was drafted to ECW, and I gotta say, Ezekiel Jackson has been doing a great job in establishing himself as a Singles Competitor.”

Ezekiel Jackson theme

The more matches this guy wrestles, the more heat he ends up getting the following week. Ezekiel Jackson is quickly rising to the top of the Smackdown roster as a heel.

Jackson gets tons of boos from the crowd as he makes his way to the ring.

First Match: Christian & R Truth vs. The Brian Kendrick & Ezekiel Jackson

Match: We get things started with R Truth and The Brian Kendrick. Kendrick goes for a Clothesline, but Truth connects with an Armbar, followed by another Armbar. Truth looks to keep the momentum going with a Forearm Smash, but Kendrick disappoints him, connecting with a surprise Crescent Kick. Kendrick quick into the cover. 1! 2! Kick-out! Truth quickly rolls to his feet and hits Kendrick with some Right Hands. Truth kicks Kendrick in the chest, and goes for a Suplex, but Kendrick counters into a Small Package. Truth kicks out at two.

I gotta say, Kendrick really knows what he’s doin’ inside the ring. He’s very impressive to watch, because he has a style that not many superstars use.

Kendrick attempts a Clothesline, but Truth takes him down, or should I say up, with a Back Body Drop. Truth rushes to the corner and makes the Tag to Christian. Christian tries to knock Kendrick’s head into the turnbuckle, but Kendrick blocks it and Knees Christian in the face. Kendrick goes for The Kendrick, but Christian counters into an impressive Back Drop. Cover by Christian! 1! 2! Kendrick gets the shoulder up.

”That was a close one. Both of these men are extremely skilled competitors.”

”In a situation like this, one mistake could cost you the match. Both Christian and Kendrick know what it takes to win, and they’ll catch you on any mistake you make inside that ring.”

Clothesline attempt by Christian, but Kendrick trips him. Kendrick applies the Camel Clutch!

”That’s exactly what I’m talkin’ about! Christian missed the Clothesline, and Kendrick capitalized!”

Truth rushes in the ring and hits Kendrick with a Bulldog, obviously breaking the hold. The Referee orders Truth out of the ring. Kendrick makes the Tag to Jackson. Jackson comes in and nails Christian with a Big Boot. Jackson goes for a cover, but the Referee says he didn’t see the Tag. The fans go wild as Kendrick and Jackson complain before Kendrick re-enters the ring and Jackson returns to the ring apron. Kendrick tries for the cover, but Christian kicks out at one. Kendrick picks Christian up. Christian connects with some Knife-Edge Chops, backing Kendrick against the ropes. Christian hits a Cactus Clothesline, receiving a major pop from the fans as he and Kendrick go over the ropes and to the floor below. Full of momentum, Christian gets to his feet and goes into the ring before making a Tag to R Truth.

The Referee begins to count Kendrick out. Kendrick gets up as the Referee’s count reaches four, and he slides into the ring. Kendrick kicks Truth in the side of the head, goes for the cover, but Christian makes the save! Jackson’s in the ring! Goes for Christian! Christian ducks it! Connects with the Killswitch on Jackson!

Kendrick throws Christian over the top rope and out of the ring! Turns around! Truth with the Kick! Off the ropes, Axe Kick connects! Cover! 1! 2! 3!

Winners: Christian & R Truth

”What a win! R Truth made good use of the distraction provided by Christian!”

”So much for a happy reunion!”

Edge is standing in Vickie Guererro’s office with the General Manager. He’s pacing back and forth, and she is standing camly.

“I don’t believe this. I mean this..this is just completely ridiculous!”

“It’s okay..”

“No! It’s not okay! It’s so far from okay! I should have won that match, but CM Punk got completely lucky and managed to pin me! I should be the WWE Champion right now! Plus, who the h*ll does Christian think he is? I had CM Punk down, and he was a second away from being eliminated, when Christian just interferes in the match! He had no business doing that!”

“Look, I know you’re upset..”

“Upset?! Upset doesn’t even begin to describe it! This is just stupid!”

“I know you’re not in a great mood, but I’ve put you in a match tonight.”

“What?! A match?! What were you thinking?!”

“I was thinking that you need to calm down and get over this. It’s a loss. You’ll get another shot.”

“Not tonight I won’t! Triple H cashed in his stupid Rematch Clause, and that means I can’t challenge CM Punk for the Title!”

“I know, but how’s this? If you win your match tonight, I’ll put you in a match for the WWE Championship next week.”

“Fine! Whatever! Who do I have to beat?”

“I know this may not be the greatest time to say this, but you’ll be going one-on-one with Rob Van Dam.”

Major “RVD” chants from the crowd as Edge furiously walks out of the office and slams the door.

”Edge doesn’t seem to happy about having to compete tonight.”

”What was your first clue? The yelling, or the storming out of Vickie Guererro’s office and slamming the door?”

”Well, that’s gonna be a big match! But comin’ up next, The Gold Standard Shelton Benjamin will compete against Mond Black in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match!”

sdbox25SmackdownTonight.jpg

Commercial break

We’re back, and Mond Black is standing in the ring, waiting for his opponent. This is Mond’s first television appearance since the Royal Rumble, where he suffered a minor knee injury.

Shelton Benjamin theme

The Gold Standard enters the arena to boos. He taunts on the ramp before making his way to the ring.

”Shelton Benjamin is an All-American Athlete, and a former WWE United States and WWE Intercontinental Champion. Needless to say, Mond Black has his work cut out for him here tonight.”

”If Mond Black can win tonight, he’ll be able to participate in his first Wrestlemania in just over a month!”

Carlito theme

Carlito, much to the surprise of the fans, makes his way to the Commentator’s Table, still sporting a neck brace as a result of the injury he suffered at the hands of Big Daddy V two weeks ago on Smackdown.

”It looks like we’re gonna be joined by Carlito.”

”Hey Carlito! How’s it goin’ man?”

”It’s goin’ pretty good, Tazz. Aside from the whole neck injury thing.” Carlito adjusts his headset.

”So, not that we’re not glad to see you out here, but why exactly are you out here?”

”Well, Carlito wants to compete in Money in the Bank, and I figured I should come down and get a look at some of the competitors I might be dealing with.”

”I got a question, though. How can you compete in Money in the Bank with that neck injury?”

”Like I said last week, I should be fine by Wrestlemania. It’ll be qualifying for the match that might be a bit of a problem.”

”You didn’t seem to have much of a problem beating Santino Marella last week, though.”

”Well let’s be honest, J.R. Santino’s not exactly a top athlete.”

Second Match: Mond Black vs. Shelton Benjamin [Money in the Bank Qualifier]

Match: Benjamin wastes little time, taking Black down with a Headlock Takedown and applying a Reverse Chinlock. Black battles out of it, but Benjamin connects with a Hip Toss and shifts to a Front Headlock. It’s clear that this is going to be a challenge for Black because of Benajmin’s amazing athletic ability, whereas Black relies on power more than anything else. Mond Black gets to his feet, and hits Benjamin with a Fisherman Suplex, breaking the hold. He bounces off the ropes, and goes to Clothesline Benjamin, who is know leaning against the opposite ropes, outside of the ring. Benjamin ducks and throws Mond over his shoulder and outside of the ring.

”Ouch, that one had to hurt.”

”Tell me about it. Carlito, you’ve been in the ring with Shelton Benjamin before. Wanna give us a little description?”

”Shelton Benjamin, like the guy or not, is an incredible athlete. You gotta be prepared for pretty much anything when you step into the ring with that guy.”

The Referee begins to count Black out. He gets to four when Benjamin exits the ring. Benjamin throws Black into the ring and goes for a quick cover, but Black gets the shoulder up at one. He had clearly had enough time to recover. Mond sits up, but Benjamin hits him with a few Elbows to the head and tries for another cover. Mond kicks out again. Benjamin picks Mond up and Irish Whips him into the corner. Goes for a Stinger Splash, but Mond ducks it. Mond off the ropes! Running Dropkick! Cover! 1! 2! And Benjamin kicks out.

”I was expecting that to end it right there, to be honest.”

”Benjamin is definitely resilient. Some moves that would normally put an opponent away aren’t enough to put Benjamin away.”

Black goes for a Scoop Slam. He climbs to the top rope. The fans cheer as he does so, but stop cheering when Benjamin quickly gets up and runs to the corner. He climbs up the turnbuckle and grabs Mond, going for a T-Bone Suplex.

”No way is he going to try a T-Bone Suplex?”

”This is gonna hurt!”

Black Elbows Benjamin in the head, and he falls to the mat. Black goes for a Diving Elbow, but Benjamin gets up again and connects with Paydirt while Mond is still in mid-air. Cover by Benjamin! 1! 2! 3!

Winner: Shelton Benjamin

”Good lord what a move! Benjamin just connected with that Paydirt out of nowhere!”

”Now just imagine something like that off the top of a ladder. It’s painful to just think about.”

Benjamin, celebrating in the ring, looks over at Carlito, who stands up. Benjamin motions to Carlito to come into the ring, but Carlito nods his head and begins walking to the back, as he’s not really supposed to be fighting as it is.

Commercial break

”Welcome back to Smackdown, and it’s time for one of the two Main Event Matches scheduled for the evening.”

”That’s right! Vickie Guererro told Edge that if he wrestled and won tonight, he would get a WWE Championship Match next week on Smackdown! What Edge didn’t know, was that his opponent would be none other than Rob Van Dam!”

Edge theme

Edge enters the arena with the Intercontinental Championship Belt around his waist. He looks around the arena and smiles. The fans boo as he stands on the ramp and his fireworks explode. He enters the ring, and his music stops playing. “RVD” chants begin as the fans await the arrival of Mr. Friday Night.

Major ovation for Van Dam as he enters the arena. He taunts for the fans on the ramp as his fireworks explode.

”Listen to that ovation, J.R.! The entire crowd is on its feet!”

”What an amazing ovation for Rob Van Dam!”

Fourth Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Edge [Non-Title Match]

Match: Quick lock-up in the ring and Van Dam takes Edge down with a Snapmare. Van Dam off the ropes, goes for a Sitting Dropkick, but Edge moves out of the way. Edge gets to his feet and takes Van Dam with a Clothesline. Some Right Hands to the face from Edge who has to win this match if he wants another Title Match.

The Referee gets Edge away, into the corner. Van Dam jumps up and hits Edge with a Spinning Wheel Kick in the corner to a huge ovation. Up to the top! Van Dam connects with a Moonsault Splash! Cover! 1! 2! Edge kicks out. Van Dam tries to pick Edge up, but Edge counters into a Small Package. Van Dam gets the shoulder up at two. Van Dam goes for a Forearm Smash, but Edge slams him into the ropes with a Flapjack. Van Dam’s neck bounces off the ropes in a weird position.

”Oh my god. Rob Van Dam’s neck could have just snapped from that move.”

”I hope he’s alright.”

Van Dam holds his neck for a moment, and Edge goes for the cover. Van Dam gets his foot on the bottom rope right before the Referee gets to three. Edge gets angry and exits the ring. He grabs a steel chair and takes it into the ring. Edge waits for Van Dam to get up, and prepares to strike him with it, but Van Dam Kicks Edge’s right knee, and Edge falls, dropping the chair and landing face-first on it. The crowd begins to cheer.

”Ouch! Good night Irine! I don’t think Edge expected that one!”

”I don’t either, Tazz. And the worst part for Edge is that Rob Van Dam didn’t touch the chair, and therefore the match isn’t going to end by Disqualification.”

Van Dam throws the chair out of the ring and rolls Edge over for a cover. 1! 2! Oh but Edge kicks out! Both Superstars get to their feet and exchange Blows. Van Dam bounces off the ropes, and tries for a Clothesline, but Edge nails him with a Big Boot. Edge taunts before walking over to the corner. He sets Van Dam up for a Spear.

Van Dam slowly gets to his feet, and turns around. Edge charges at him, but Van Dam moves out of the way. Edge turns around and Van Dam hits him with a Front Slam, followed by Rolling Thunder, to a huge pop. RVD tries for a cover, but again, Edge kicks out.

RVD picks Edge up and Kicks him in the back of the knee. Van Dam tries for a DDT, but Edge counters into a Spinebuster-like move. Edge applies the Edgecator and pulls Van Dam to the center of the ring.

”Edge has that submission locked in! Is Van Dam gonna tap?”

Major freakin’ pop for CM Punk as his music hits. Edge lets go of the hold and walks over to the ropes, awaiting the arrival of CM Punk. Nothing.

”Where’s Punk, J.R.?!”

”I have absolutely no idea, Tazz!”

The arena goes silent.

Goldberg theme

Suddenly, Goldberg’s music hits and the entire crowd gets to their feet in excitement. And unlike Punk, Goldberg actually enters the arena. Edge widens his eyes in surprise as the former World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring.

”My god, Tazz! It’s Goldberg!”

”I see that but what the h*ll is he doin’ out here?!”

Goldberg stares at Edge as he walks to the ring. Van Dam moves toward Edge and connects with a Schoolboy Pin! 1! 2! 3! Van Dam wins!

Winner: Rob Van Dam

RVD rolls out of the ring as Edge puts his hands to his head in disbelief. Goldberg enters the ring, and Edge begins backing up, until he’s against the ropes. Goldberg goes for a Right Hand, but Edge ducks. Goldberg turns around and Edge tries to Spear him, but Goldberg connects with a Spear out of nowhere. The crowd goes absolutely wild as Goldberg stands over Edge in the ring.

Commercial break

Jamie Noble theme

We’re back, and quite close to the highly-anticipated Main Event Match. Jamie Noble is standing in the ring with a microphone.

“Well now that this here Talent Exchange has been reactivated, Jamie Noble has a chance to beat up some Superstars on any brand he chooses to. And tonight, I decided to pay a visit to Smackdown. Ya see, Umaga is making his in-ring return tonight.”

Huge pop for the mention of Umaga.

“Well when I’m done with Umaga, he’s gonna be put right back on the injured list.”

”What is Noble talkin’ about? Does he seriously think he can beat Umaga?”

”God only knows what’s going on in Jamie Noble’s mind, Tazz. Noble lost to Kane a few weeks ago on Raw, and again to Randy Orton two weeks ago on Raw.”

Umaga theme

The Samoan Bulldozer gets a nice reaction as he enters the arena. He yells on the ramp before taunting and making his way to the ring.

Fifth Match: Umaga vs. Jamie Noble

Match: Noble hits Umaga with a Right Hand. Umaga rebounds with a Clothesline. Umaga throws Noble into the corner and smashes him with a Corner Clothesline. Noble falls down into the corner. Umaga backs up and hits Noble with a Running Hip Attack. Umaga picks up Noble and hits him with a Spinning Side Slam to win the match.

Winner: Umaga

”That one was quick!”

”Noble has failed again. He says he wants to go Wrestlemania, but at this rate, things aren’t looking so good.”

”Well, coming up next, Triple H battles CM Punk for the WWE Championship!”

sdbox22SmackdownTonight.jpg

Commercial break

The fans boo as the General Manager of Smackdown, Vickie Guererro, enters the arena with a microphone. She walks down to the ring, receiving tons of heat from the crowd.

She looks around the arena. “You suck!” chants begin to fill the arena.

“Excuse me!”

Boos and more “You suck!” chants.

“I said, excuse me! Now, I’m out here for one reason and one reason only! I have decided to cancel tonight’s Main Event Match!”

”What? Cancel the Main Event?”

”Why would she do that?”

The crowd continues to boo the General Manager. I had a feeling that something would happen to stop the Main Event, but I wasn’t sure.

“Unfortunately for all of you, your hometown hero, Triple H, won’t be reclaiming the WWE Championship tonight! You see, I found out that Triple H’s Rematch Clause had only been a six day clause, meaning that it expired yesterday. Therefore, it is no longer valid.”

”Somethin’s goin’ on here. There’s no way Triple H’s Rematch Clause would be a six-day clause. That makes no sense.”

”Yeah, I agree with you, J.R. I don’t like this.”

“So, I’m sorry, but tonight, there will be no Title Match.”

Vickie Guererro begins to leave the ring.

”This is not fair. I know that something’s up.”

”Well, there’s nothin’ anybody can do about it. Vickie Guererro is the General Manager.”

Vickie Guererro, leaving the ring, steps back into the ring as Shane McMahon makes his way to the ring. He dances a little bit on the ramp and high-fives a lot of fans to a huge pop before entering the ring and getting a microphone.

“Vickie, Vickie, look. This is ridiculous. Every week, your husband, Edge, goes around kissing your a*s, and every week, you reward him for it. I am tired of it, and so is the Board of Directors. I don’t know if you remember this, but at New Year’s Revolution, your career was put on the line in a match because my father did not like the way you were running Smackdown. Well, I’ve decided that your career is going to be put on the line again.”

“Shane O’Mac” chants fill the arena from an extremely excited Grenwich crowd.

“My father hasn’t been on TV for over a month now. However, I have spoken to him, and he has decided that it’s time for him to make a return. He is going to address you, and your husband Edge. And let me tell you something, Vickie. Based on what he’s told me, you’re not going to like it.”

Suddenly, Edge runs down to the ring. Shane McMahon turns around, and Edge Spears him. He holds up his Intercontinental Championship Belt and hugs his wife.

”Come on! You gotta be kidding me! Edge just Speared Shane McMahon!”

”What was Edge thinking?!”

“You suck!” chants begin to fill the arena, directed at both Edge and Vickie Guererro.

The entire crowd begins to cheer wildly as DX’s music hits. Edge lets go of Vickie and turns to look at the TitanTron. Triple H enters the arena, sporting a DX outfit. The fans chant “Triple H” as he makes his way to the ring. Let’s not forget, this is Triple H’s hometown.

”It’s The Game! Triple H is here!”

”He doesn’t look angry, J.R.!”

Triple H walks around the ring, and stops to get a microphone.

“Well would you look at that? It’s just so unfortunate that my Rematch Clause happened to expire just one day before I was supposed to challenge for the WWE Championship. But you know what, I’m not mad. I’m not..”

“Triple H, we don’t care! My wife and I have business to attend to!”

Edge and Vickie begins to leave the ring and walk up the ramp.

“Well okay then.”

Suddenly, Edge and Vickie walk over a part of the ramp and they fall into a square hole. The fans go wild.

“Oops. There’s a hole there. How unfortunate.”

“Triple H” chants begin to fill the arena. The Game walks up to the hole and pulls two cans of silly string out of his coat pocket. He shakes up one can, and sprays it all over Edge and Vickie before doing the same with the second can. The Intercontinental Champion and the General Manager are shown in the hole, covered in silly string, as Triple H taunts over them for the fans to end the show.

This was a enjoyable Smackdown! I'm disappointed about Triple H's match canceled. Vickie had something to do with that, I'm sure. And the silly string was "Main Event material" And seriously, The old Hag has to go. And I will make sure she is humiliated. Because I won't fire her, oh no! That is too easy. I will simply demote her to HQ Janitor. And until she publicly apologizes to the WWE universe, I will put 3 minutes of her moping floors on the TitanTron.

WWE Opening

Green Bay - Wisconsin

The show opens with a major array of fireworks exploding onto the stage. The fans stand up and cheer for the opening of what looks like it will be a great show.

”Good evening everyone and welcome to Monday Night Raw! I’m Michael Cole alongside Jerry Lawler, and we are live from Green Bay, Wisconsin!”

”Hello everyone! Cole, tonight’s Raw is gonna be a big one. There are two Main Event Matches scheduled for tonight’s show. Those matches include Rey Mysterio taking on Randy Orton and Devon Immortal taking on Batista!”

Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton [Tonight]

Devon Immortal vs. Batista [Tonight]

”And as if those matches aren’t big enough themselves, both matches have a similar stipulation! The winner of each match will go on to compete for the World Heavyweight Championship in the Main Event of Wrestlemania 25!”

”Talk about huge! Jeff Hardy has never competed in the Main Event at Wrestlemania, nor has he ever won a match at Wrestlemania . However, he did win this year’s Royal Rumble, and that qualifies him for a Main Event Match at Wrestlemania!”

”Then we’ve got the World Heavyweight Champion, Kane, who has also never competed in the Main Event of Wrestlemania! This match is going to be big for a lot of superstars!”

*Bell rings.*

“This Opening Contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match!”

Dolph Ziggler theme

One half of the ECW Tag Team Champions, Dolph Ziggler, enters the arena with a smile on his face. He holds his Championship Belt above his head on the ramp before walking to the ring.

”So far, four superstars have qualified for Money in the Bank. Those superstars being Lord Smith, Evan Bourne, Christian, and most recently, Shelton Benjamin. Tonight, a fifth Superstar will join the match.”

Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) theme

MVP enters the arena to a huge pop. He walks down the ramp and taunts as streams of pyro explode on the ramp. He high-fives some fans before entering the ring.

”MVP hasn’t lost a match since coming to Raw, Cole! He’s on a bit of winning streak, if you will!”

First Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP)

Match: MVP kicks Ziggler in the chest, and elbows him in the back of the neck. MVP bounces off the ropes, and hits Ziggler with a Knee Facebuster, sending him to the mat. Quick cover by MVP, but to no avail. Ziggler gets to his feet, and MVP Irish Whips him into the corner. MVP runs toward the corner, but Ziggler sticks his feet out and MVP runs into them. Ziggler jumps and kicks MVP in the side of the head, taking him down. Ziggler goes for the cover, but MVP kicks out at two. Ziggler quickly applies a Reverse Chinlock. The crowd gives MVP support and he starts to get to his feet, Ziggler still applying the hold. MVP with some elbows to the chest, and Ziggler lets go. Ziggler goes for a Clothesline, but MVP catches him with an Armbar. Ziggler runs toward MVP, but MVP connects with a Modified Back Body Drop. MVP goes for the cover again, but Ziggler kicks out at two.

”MVP is a very skilled athlete. He continues to impress me every time he steps into the ring.”

”It seems the fans have taken a liking to him as well.”

Ziggler connects with a nicely executed Dropkick, and tries for the cover. Once again, MVP manages to kick out. MVP hits Ziggler with a few Right Hands and applies a Three-Quarter Facelock. Porter knees Ziggler in the head a few times before hitting him with a Double Underhook Suplex. Ziggler lands horizontally near the ropes. MVP bounces off the ropes, does a “Ballin’” Taunt, and connects with the Ballin’ Elbow. MVP with the cover! 1! 2! Oh and Ziggler kicks out! MVP Irish Whips Ziggler into the corner again and goes for the Player’s Boot. Ziggler ducks it, though, and hits MVP with a Falling Reverse DDT. Ziggler tries for the cover, but MVP kicks out at two.

”Neither of these guys wants to lose the match!”

”Well, this match is for a chance to go to Wrestlemania!”

The crowd begins to chant “MVP”. Both superstars get to their feet. MVP kicks Ziggler in the chest and goes for the Playmaker, but Ziggler pushes him against the ropes. MVP turns around, and Ziggler goes for an Inziguri, but MVP grabs him and hits him with a Flapjack Slam. MVP climbs to the second turnbuckle and nails Ziggler with a Diving Drive-By Kick! Cover by MVP! 1! 2! 3! MVP’s going to Wrestlemania!

Winner: Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP)

"MVP did it! He earned himself a spot at Wrestlemania and ended Dolph Ziggler's undefeated streak in the process!"

"What a win! Dolph Ziggler had been undefeated in Singles Competition for weeks, and now that streak is over, courtesy of MVP!"

"Impressive win for sure. Well, still to come tonight, Rey Mysterio will go one-on-one with The Legend Killer, Randy Orton!"

Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton [Tonight]

"I can't wait! But when we come back, we're going to see the World Heavyweight Champion, Kane, in action!"

Snitsky theme

Snitsky is standing in the ring with Mike Knox as the show returns live. He looks pretty focused as holds up his Tag Title Belt.

"We're back live and last week those two men, Snitsky and Mike Knox, defeated The Hardys to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. This is the first time either of those men has held WWE Gold, and with power like theirs, it's pretty safe to say they'll hold onto those Titles for a long time."

Kane theme

Fireworks explode on the ramp and the World Heavyweight Champion enters the arena to a huge pop while Knox quickly slides out of the ring.

"You want to talk about power? Look no further than that man right there, Kane."

"Calling Kane powerful seems like an understatement if you ask me. I still can't believe we're going to see a match like this, though. I mean, two powerhouses squaring off in the same ring."

Second Match: Kane vs. Snitsky (w/Mike Knox)

Match: Snitsky charges Kane, who responds with a swift Uppercut, taking the monstrous Snitsky off his feet. Kane picks Snitsky up and throws him into the corner. Kane with some elbows to Snitsky's head. The Referee tells Kane to back up. Snitsky gets a cheap shot and hits Kane with a Right Hand. Kane falls to the mat and Snitsky tries for a quick cover, but to no avail. Kane sits up, and Snitsky hits him with a boot to the face. Snitsky hooks the leg, but Kane kicks out again. Next up Snitsky picks up Kane and Irish Whips him into the ropes. He waits for Kane, who responds with a knee to Snitsky's face. Kane hits another Uppercut, and Snitsky backs into the ropes. Snitsky runs back toward Kane, but is greeted with a Sidewalk Slam. Kane hooks the leg.

"Kane with that Sidewalk Slam! Kane into the cover! Can he do it? No!" Snitsky kicks out at two.

Kane looks around for a moment before ascending to the top rope. He waits for Snitsky to get to his feet before going for a Diving Clothesline. Snitsky dodges it, though. Kane rebounds with a Clothesline attempt, but Snitsky hits him with a Big Boot. Another cover by Snitsky, but once again Kane kicks out. Snitsky Irish Whips Kane into the corner, and Kane slams the corner and falls to the mat. Snitsky picks Kane up and goes for a Pumphandle Slam.

Kane tries to battle out of the hold, but he is unable to do so and Snitsky connects with the Pumphandle Slam. Snitsky hooks the leg! 1! 2! Thr..Kane kicks out! The fans cheer as Kane kicks out and Snitsky shows a look of disbelief. Snitsky bounces off the ropes and goes for another Big Boot, but Kane ducks and bounces off the ropes in a similar fashion and connects with a Big Boot of his own. Kane motions for the Chokeslam, and when Snitsky gets up, he connects with it. Cover by the Champion! 1! 2! 3!

Winner: Kane

"It's over! Kane won it!"

"Better luck next time, Snitsky! Once again, Kane proves his dominance!"

"Kane may have been dominant tonight, but will he be able to prove dominant at Wrestlemania 25, when he competes in the Main Event for the first time ever? And not only that, against three other superstars?"

"The numbers game has never really been an issue for Kane. I guess we'll just have to wait until Wrestlemania 25 to find out!"

The Referee hands Kane his World Heavyweight Championship Belt and raises his arm in victory. Mike Knox enters the ring and tries to attack Kane from behind, which proves to be stupid as Kane turns around and sends Knox packing with a devastating Chokeslam.

"Thanks for comin', Knox!"

"What was Mike Knox thinking, trying to attack Kane from behind?"

"I think that answer is simple, King. He wasn't."

"That's likely. Well, I know one man who's thinking, and that man is Rey Mysterio! And we're going to hear from him, next!"

Commercial break

Mysterio's music hits and the former World Champion emerges on the stage with a microphone. He walks to each side of the stage, and taunts for the fans as his fireworks explode.

He gets a huge pop as he stands on the stage and looks around at the fans. "619" chants fill the arena and it becomes obvious the crowd is way into Mysterio.

"You guys are awesome man! There's nothin' better than comin' out here and gettin' such a warm welcome from thousands of awesome people!"

The "619" chants continue.

"Now tonight, I'm going to go one-on-one with Randy Orton. And if I win..no, when I win, I'm going to go to Wrestlemania 25 and compete in the Main Event Match! I'm going to win the match and win the World Heavyweight Championship in the Main Event of Wrestlemania for the second time! You see, Randy Orton is a talented athlete, but there's something I have that he doesn't have; heart! He doesn't have the heart that you need to accel in this business! Randy Orton thinks that power is all you need to become great, but he is sadly mistaken. It takes heart, skill, and the support of thousands and thousands of fans around the world! And if there's anyone that doesn't believe me now, just wait until the end of the night when I pin Randy Orton and go on to compete in the Main Event of Wrestlemania!"

"Wow. Just wow. What a statement from Rey Mysterio. You know, I really do hope that Mysterio wins tonight, and goes to Wrestlemania to compete in the Main Event."

"I don't think there's anybody, except maybe Devon Immortal and of course Orton himself, that doesn't want to see Rey Mysterio win. Randy Orton's actions as of late are not deserving of a World Championship Match."

"I agree, King. Speaking of Randy Orton, let's take a week at what happened last week when Shawn Michaels was scheduled to compete in a Gauntlet Match with his career on the line."

Fourth Opponent: Mark Henry

Match: Michaels goes for a Clothesline, but Henry grabs him and hits him with a Back Body Drop. Henry hits Michaels with some Stomps before a Standing Elbow Drop. Henry continues to destroy Michaels, throwing him into the corner and nailing him with a Corner Clothesline. Michaels falls to the mat in pain, and the fans boo Henry.

Henry picks Michaels up and locks in a Bear Hug. Michaels tries his best to battle out of it, but he’s unable to.

”The man’s spine is gonna snap if this keeps up!”

”Can HBK get out of this?!”

Michaels gains a burst of strength and begins hitting Henry in the face with some Right Hands. Henry drops him. Henry goes for a Clothesline, but Michaels hits an Inverted Atomic Drop, followed by an Inziguri. Henry falls to the mat and Michaels climbs to the top! Diving Elbow drops connects!

HBK’s tunes up the band! Wait, what? Dustin Delta and The Big Show run down to the ring, along with Tyson Tomko. They enter the ring and surround Michaels. HBK runs for Big Show, but Tomko nails him with a Big Boot. Delta locks in the Crucifix, and begins to choke Michaels out.

”This is a four-on-one assault! Somebody’s gotta do something!”

The Referee signals for the bell to be rung, as Shawn Michaels is nearly unconscious at this point, and the match won’t be able to continue.

Delta gives instructions to Big Show, Tomko, and Henry. They hold Michaels while Delta Slaps him. Big Show picks Michaels up and hits him with a Knockout Punch. Michaels falls slowly to the mat. The crowd is responding with major heat at this point.

Major pop for Jericho as he enters the arena and runs to the ring. His rib area is all bandaged up, and he doesn’t have his ECW Championship.

”Thank god someone finally came out here!”

Jericho tries to help Michaels, but Mark Henry hits him with The World’s Strongest Slam. Delta picks up Jericho and hits him with a Delta Bomb.

Randy Orton theme

This isn’t surprising. Orton makes his way to the ring, getting boos from the crowd. He enters the ring, and looks at the ECW Superstars before nodding.

”What the h*ll is Orton doing out here?”

”I don’t know, but the damage has been done! Leave well enough alone!”

Orton walks up to Delta, and says something to him. Delta walks toward Michaels, but Orton grabs him, turns him around, and drops him with an RKO. Henry runs toward Orton, but The Legend Killer ducks and hits an RKO on Henry as well.

The crowd is wild by this point, with “RKO” chants filling the arena. Tomko tries to hit Orton with a Big Boot, but Orton again connects with an RKO. Orton hits Big Show with some Right Hands before sliding out of the ring. Orton grabs a Steel Chair and nails Big Show in the head with it. Show doesn’t fall. Another shot takes care of that, though, as The World’s Largest Athlete falls to the mat. Orton looks at Jericho, then at Michaels, before exiting the ring, leaving the WWE Universe with one question.

Just what the h*ll is going on?

Commercial break

Jamie Noble theme

Jamie Noble is standing in the ring with a microphone.

"We're back live, and Jamie Noble is ready for some competition."

"For weeks now, Jamie Noble has been claiming that he wants to go to Wrestlemania, but every time he steps into the ring, he ends up being defeated."

"Jamie Noble is tired of comin' out here and losin' all the time. So that stops tonight. I said I was going to go to Wrestlemania, and I meant it. Startin' tonight, Jamie Noble ain't gonna lose another match. So whoever has the unfortunate task of being my opponent, come on out here!"

"Unfortunate task of being his opponent?" Cole laughs.

"Every week Jamie Noble gets in over his head and every week he pays for it."

"Well maybe tonight he won't have a challenging opponent."

"Maybe."

Major ovation as the DX music hits and Triple H enters the arena, wearing a leather jacket.. Noble rolls his eyes as Triple H makes his way to the ring, high-fiving tons of fans along the way. The Game takes off his jacket, throws it on the ground, and enters the ring.

"What was that, Cole? Not having a challenging opponent?"

"I stand corrected, King! It's Triple H!"

"We saw Triple H completely humiliate Vickie Guererro and Edge this past Friday on Smackdown, and it looks like he might humiliate Jamie Noble right here tonight!"

Third Match: Jamie Noble vs. Triple H

Match: "Triple H" chants begin as Jamie Noble and Triple H start to lock-up. Noble backs up, though, and slaps Triple H in the face. The Game becomes infuriated and unleashes Right Hands on Noble, backing him into the corner. The Referee backs Triple H up. Noble runs toward The Game, but gets dropped with a Spinebuster. The Game taunts for the fans and waits for Noble to get up. Noble, dazed, turns around and Triple H kicks him in the chest. Up next is a Pedigree, followed by the victory.

Winner: Triple H

"King, what the h*ll was Jamie Noble's mindset in that match? Slapping The Game in the face is like driving into a brick wall; you're not going to like the outcome."

"I like that analogy, Cole. I think Jamie Noble was trying to intimidate The Game. That didn't really work, though."

Triple H exits the ring and reaches into his jacket pocket. He pulls out a can of silly string. The fans go wild as The Game enters the ring and shakes up the can. He writes "LOSER" on Jamie Noble's chest in silly string, before standing over a fallen Noble and taunting.

"Triple H adding insult to injury!"

"This guy is great, Cole!"

"Well, there's a time for fun, and there's a time for seriousness. Coming up next, things are going to be nothing but serious as Batista goes one-on-one with Devon Immortal for a chance to compete in the Main Event at Wrestlemania."

Batista vs. Devon Immortal [up Next]

Commercial break

Batista theme

The Animal receives a standing ovation as he enters the arena. He taunts on the ramp as tons of fireworks explode across the stage. He high-fives a bunch of fans as he makes his way to the ring.

"It's go time! We're about to witness what could be the biggest match of both Batista and Devon Immortal's careers!"

"This match is going to be great, Cole! Both of these guys are going to give it everything they've got to earn themselves a place in the Main Event of Wrestlemania 25!"

Randy Orton's "apprentice", Devon Immortal, steps into the arena. He looks around for a moment, getting booed by the fans. It doesn't seem to bother him, though.

"That man right there is the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in WWE History. Although, the way he won the Championship is considered a bit controversial by some people."

"That's true, Cole. Immortal won the Championship in a Battle Royal, but he didn't enter the match until there were only two competitors left in the match. Those competitors being Jack Byron, and Batista, who was the reigning Champion at the time."

Fourth Match: Batista vs. Devon Immortal

Match: Right after the bell Immortal begins to assault Batista with some Right Hands. It takes Batista a second, but he manages to push Immortal toward the ropes. Immortal rebounds, going for a Clothesline, but fails as Batista connects with a Back Body Drop. Batista picks Immortal up and throws him into the corner before connecting with some Shoulder Thrusts, followed by a Snake Eyes-like move. Batista Clotheslines Immortal out of the ring.

"Batista's got the advantage! Can he keep it? We'll find out..when we come back!"

Commercial break

Immortal has Batista in a Side Headlock. The crowd is chanting "Batista" to give The Animal some support.

"Welcome back, and during the commercial break, there was a major momentum change. Batista tried to hit Devon Immortal with another Back Body Drop, but Immortal countered with a DDT, and Immortal's had control of this thing since."

Batista battles out of the hold, taking Immortal to the mat with a Backdrop. Immortal gets to his feet, and Batista connects with a Flying Shoulder Block, taking Immortal down again. Batista goes for a Clothesline, but Immortal trips him, and his knee slams into the mat, seemingly bouncing off before hitting the mat again.

"Uh-oh! It looks like Batista might have just injured that knee!"

"I noticed that too. Will The Animal be able to continue?"

"I don't think you have to worry about that, Cole. Batista won't give up in a situation like this."

Immortal applies a Half-Boston Crab, and the damage to Batista's knee intensifies. The Animal shows signs of pain, but manages to battle out, and uses all of the power in his legs to push Immortal into the ropes. Immortal bounces off the ropes, and Batista nails him with a Spinebuster! Batista gives the "thumbs down" signal and begins to shake the ropes. "Batista" chants begin to fill the arena. The Animal picks Immortal up for a Powerbomb. Suddenly, his knee gives out, and he drops Immortal before falling to the mat.

"Oh my god..Batista's knee just gave out on him!"

"This isn't going to be good!"

The fans boo as Immortal looks around and nails Batista with a Flipping Piledriver. Immortal hooks the leg, and the fans boo as the Referee counts. 1! 2! Thr..wait a minute! Batista kicked out!

"What?!"

"No way! You gotta be kidding me!"

Devon Immortal looks around the arena in pure disbelief. The entire crowd is on their feet now, cheering for Batista. The Animal starts to get to his feet, but suddenly Devon Immortal Punts him in the head, in a manner similar to that of Randy Orton. Immortal goes for the pin, but the Referee backs him away, signifying that Batista has been knocked out, and calls for the bell.

Winner: Devon Immortal

"Devon Immortal has won the match, but at what cost?"

"That vicious punt, similar to Randy Orton's, has just knocked Batista out. I think this is the first time Batista has lost a match by count out."

Devon Immortal walks to the back, without his music playing. Medics come down to the ring and place Batista on a stretcher. They wheel him to the back.

Commercial break

"Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. We have just learned that Batista will be taken to the nearest emergency room. He suffered a severe knee injury and a concussion."

"Devon Immortal's actions were just sickening."

"Regardless of his actions, Devon Immortal is going to Wrestlemania. And we're about to find out who else will join him in the Main Event."

"Will it be Rey Mysterio, or Randy Orton? We're going to find out right now!"

Randy Orton theme

Orton's music hits and he actually receives a few cheers as he enters the arena. He makes his way to the ring, with a seeming lack of emotion on his face.

"That man, Randy Orton, is the one that introduced that vicious Punt that we just saw Devon Immortal deliver to Batista."

Orton enters the ring and gets a microphone.

"Before this match gets underway, there are two things I need to address. First of all, I had no involvement whatsoever in what just happened. I didn't tell Devon Immortal to Punt Batista, and I sure as h*ll am not happy about it. Devon Immortal, as good as you may be, you can never, and I mean never, be Randy Orton. And I'm going to prove that to you tonight. Now secondly, all week long I've been getting asked about why I did what I did last week when it comes to Shawn Michaels. I'm not going to go into any detail now, but I will say this. As vicious as many people consider me to be, I know when things need to stop. And you don't attack a man when he's unconscious. Let's just say I did what I felt I needed to do. I was in no way trying to help Shawn Michaels; I was merely trying to prevent Shawn Michaels from being permanently injured for my own personal gain. You see, at No Way Out, Shawn Michaels explained that he had been using illegal substances, and that I had been blackmailing, as he says, him. My business is my business, but Shawn, I do want to fight you. And I can't fight you if you're not conscious. So I had to make sure that you were well enough to be able to fight me. Because next week, I want it to be me and you, one-on-one, in a Falls Count Anywhere Match!"

That statement gets a pop.

"As for Rey Mysterio, he's going to learn first hand that power is all I need to accel in this business!"

Mysterio enters the arena to a standing ovation. He high-fives a bunch of fans and hugs a few fans with masks as he makes his way to the ring. He enters the ring; eyes fixed on Randy Orton.

Main Event Match: Randy Orton vs. Rey Mysterio

Match: The two lock-up in the center of the ring. Orton kicks Mysterio in the chest and clubs him in the back. Mysterio gets to his feet and rolls out of the way of a Big Boot. Mysterio with some Right Hands to the face, taking Orton to the corner. Mysterio climbs the turnbuckle and greets Orton with some Right Hands to the face before stepping down and hitting Orton with a Monkey Flip. Orton gets up and Rey runs toward him. Orton smashes Mysterio with a Lariat. The fans boo as Orton looks around the arena, smiling. Orton walks around Mysterio, stomping at different sections of his body. Orton hooks the leg! 1! 2! Mysterio kicks out!

"This match has just started and it's already full of excitement!"

"I'm still thinking about what Randy Orton said just a few minutes ago. He wants to face Shawn Michaels in a Falls Count Anywhere Match next week on Raw!"

"That would be a legendary match; that's for sure."

Orton picks Mysterio up and goes for a Suplex, but Rey struggles a little bit and turns it into an explosive DDT. Mysterio with the cover! 1! 2! And Orton gets the shoulder up! Both superstars get to their feet! Mysterio runs toward Orton..Orton catches Mysterio..Mysterio's up, Bulldog! Mysterio into the cover again! 1! 2! Oh and another kickout by Orton. Mysterio picks Orton up, and hits him with some Right Hands. Mysterio backs up and runs toward Orton, but Orton replies with a powerful Clothesline, causing Mysterio to do a "backflip" and land on the mat.

"Ouch. Talk about a momentum shifter."

"Any momentum Rey Mysterio had has gone out the window."

Orton smiles as he picks Mysterio up and Irish Whips him into the corner. Orton goes for a Corner Clothesline, but Mysterio ducks it! Mysterio with the Schoolboy Pin! 1! 2! And again Orton kicks out! Orton goes for an RKO, but Mysterio pushes him into the ropes. Mysterio backs up, and Orton runs toward him. Mysterio trips Orton, who lands on the ropes. Mysterio bounces off the ropes! Connects with the 619! Mysterio goes for the Springboard Splash! Orton's up! RKO in mid-air!

"Oh my god! Orton just hit that RKO from out of nowhere!"

"This one's over!"

Orton hooks both legs! 1! 2! No way! Mysterio kicks out!

"Mysterio kicked out! Mysterio kicked out!"

"Orton doesn't believe it! This crowd doesn't believe it! I don't believe it!"

"That kickout must have been pure instinct, King."

"I don't care what it was! All I know is, this match is going to continue!"

Orton tries to Punt Mysterio, but Mysterio trips him into the ropes once again! Another 619 as the crowd goes wild! Mysterio climbs to the top rope this time! But again, Orton gets to his feet! Orton with a Right Hand to Mysterio!

"Mysterio's in dangerous territory right now!"

"I don't think this is going to end well!"

Orton begins to climb the turnbuckle. He grabs Mysterio for a Suplex! Wait a minute! Mysterio flips over Orton! Sunset Flip Powerbomb! Mysterio lands in a sitting, pinning position! 1! 2! 3! Mysterio's going to Wrestlemania!

Winner: Rey Mysterio

"He did it, King! Rey Mysterio defeated Randy Orton!"

"What an amazing move, and an amazing match!"

Suddenly, Devon Immortal comes through the crowd and begins to assault Mysterio from behind as Orton lies in the ring, not moving.

"Come on now! This is ridiculous! Rey Mysterio just wrestled a hard-fought match, and now he's getting assaulted."

The fans go wild and Devon Immortal looks up as Evan Bourne runs to the ring. Immortal slides out of the ring, but ECW Superstar Ren comes through the crowd and throws Immortal back into the ring before entering the ring himself. Bourne and Ren stand on either side of Immortal. Bourne hits Immortal with a Right Hand, and Ren hits him with a DDT. Ren backs up, and knocks Immortal's lights out with Masked Savior! Ren motions for Bourne to go to the top rope! Bourne's up! Shooting Star Press connecting! Ren and Bourne help Mysterio to his feet and they celebrate in the ring to end the show.

That was interesting and... well... awesome. I don't know why, but I loved the match between MVP and Dolph Ziggler. I find it sweet that MVP won. Though right now, I sort of hate Immortal for doing the Punt. And I've just got to say, that was awesome when Rey did the Sunset Flip Powerbomb to pick up the win. And I was just wondering, is my character going to be in a match next RAW?

Fireheartleon & Axle C. have tied for the prize! The post number was #870, and that post didn't qualify. Both Leon and Axle were three spaces (respectfully) from #870, so they tied.

They've won a sig, an avatar, and fifty points each.

Stay tuned for the next Legacy event, Prize Week!
