Synchronized
Smackdown Opening The wild roar of the crowd fills the arena as the United Kingdom prepares for the next edition of Friday Night Smackdown. The fans stand on their feet and cheer as the fireworks explode on the stage. "Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Friday Night Smackdown! I'm Jim Ross, alongside Tazz, and we're here in London!" "It's been a while since I've been in the United Kingdom, J.R.! And I've already learned one thing; these fans love the WWE!" "Thats for sure! There's no reason not to! Especially when we have a Main Event like tonight's!" "You bet! The WWE Champion Triple H teams with CM Punk to take on the Number One Contender for the WWE Championship, Edge, and Ezekiel Jackson!" Match Card: Triple H & CM Punk vs. Edge & Ezekiel Jackson [Tonight] Mike Adamle theme The former Raw General Manager enters the arena to a rather silent reaction from the London crowd. "Hey Tazz, you know who that is?!" "That's Mike Adamle! What's he doing here?" "I'm just as clueless as you are, Tazz. The last time I saw Mike Adamle, he was beaten by Randy Orton at Survivor Series and lost his job as the Raw General Manager." The "reaction" stays steady as Adamle enters the ring and gets a microphone. He waves to the fans before beginning to speak. "Good evening everyone. As many of you know, my name is Mike Adamle." The fans in the arena chant "What?". "The last time I stepped foot in a WWE Ring was at Survivor Series 2008, when I was pinned by Randy Orton and forced to leave the company." That comment actually gets some cheers from the crowd. "Well, I got a call earlier today, and I was asked to come to Smackdown tonight. You see, Vickie Guererro has a meeting with the Board of Directors, so I was asked to be the General Manager of Smackdown for the night." "You suck" chants begin to fill the arena. "Now, I assure you, I will do my best to keep things in order here tonight. You won't be disappointed." Adamle begins to exit the ring. Triple H theme Triple H enters the arena to an array of cheers from the London crowd as Adamle watches on with a confused look on his face. "Here comes Triple H, and I gotta say, Adamle doesn't look too pleased." "Well I dunno. Maybe he doesn't like being interrupted." "We know that doesn't stop Triple H.", J.R. says, laughing. Adamle steps out of the way as Triple H enters the ring and ascends to the top turnbuckle. He bows to the fans, who continue to cheer wildly. The Game steps down and gets a microphone. "So..Mike Adamle, huh? The Board of Directors chose you to be the temporary Smackdown General Manager. I believe this is our first time meeting. From what I've heard, you're quite a boring fellow." Adamle looks away for a second as The Game smiles and the fans cheer. "Nevermind that. I'm not out here to bother you. It's really quite the contrary. I'm out here because I have some unfinished business to take care of. Unfinished business, with Edge." "Triple H, Triple H, listen. You and I know full well that you have a match later on tonight. And in that match, you will team up with CM Punk to take on Edge and Ezekiel Jackson. Now.." "Hold on let me cut ya off right there. A Tag Team Match? That's the best you could do? I don't want a Tag Team Match. I want a regular match. Just me and Edge in the ring. Mano y' mano. Now, Mike, you can make that happen, and I.." Edge theme The Ultimate Opportunist emerges on the ramp with the Intercontinental Championship Belt on his shoulder. He is holding a microphone. "Hunter, listen, man. This is just business. I have nothing against you personally, and I attacked you last week, simply to send a message. Now look, I'm not exactly delighted about a Tag Team Match either. So I have an idea. Why don't we each choose another partner and make it a Six-Man Tag Team Match?" "Triple H" chants begin to fill the arena as The Game stares at Edge, seemingly thinking. "Edge, you know what? You can't keep hiding behind your wife and.." "Actually, Triple H, I like Edge's idea. What better way to boost the Smackdown Ratings then to have a Six-Man Tag Team Match as the Main Event?" "Adamle's got a point there." "That's true. Triple H may not like it, but I'm sure it'll be a good match to watch!" "See Mike, you're a wise man. I'm glad you could see things my way. I've already taken it upon myself to choose the third partner for our team." Vladimir Kozlov theme The arena is filled with boos as The Moscow Mauler steps into the arena. "Vladimir Kozlov? I heard he was making a return to Smackdown, but I didn't expect it to be tonight." "Well, it's like they say, Tazz. Anything can happen in the WWE." "Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Vladimir Kozlov!", Edge says, pointing to Kozlov and clapping. The tension can be felt throughout the arena as Triple H and Vladimir Kozlov have a stare-down. "Alright, so we know who Edge and Ezkiel's partner will be, but who will Triple H and CM Punk choose?" "I don't know, but I sure as h*ll can't wait to find out!" Commercial break For weeks, The All-American American Jack Swagger has been trying to defeat Sam Brushfire, but he can't get the job done. Now, he's moving on to bigger and better things. Kofi Kingston theme The fans cheer as Kingston runs out onto the ramp and taunts as his pyro explodes. He makes his way to the ring, high-fiving some fans along the way. "We're gonna get the matches started with some high-flying action! Kofi Kingston is a great athlete, and he's had nothing but success since being drafted to Smackdown. Cena takes the microphone from Todd. "Answers? What is there to say? I did what I had to do in order to achieve success. If I wanted a WWE Championship Match, I had to take out CM Punk, and I did that." "What about the fans?" "I respect each and every one of the fans, and I hope that they can understand why I did what I did." The fans chant "Cena Sucks". Cena walks away. Commercial break Ryan Braddock theme Ryan Braddock enters the arena, ready for action. Carlito theme Looking to avenge his brother's loss from the previous week, Carlito enters the arena. He looks confident as he walks to the ring. "Last week, Carlito's brother Primo took on the destructive Big Daddy V, but fell short of victory." "And unfortunately for Primo, like you said J.R., he was unable to win the match. That didn't stop him from putting up one h*ll of a fight, though." "I can't say I'm surprised. There's no doubt in my mind that Primo is an excellent athlete, but facing Big Daddy V is like running into a brick wall; you're not going to accomplish much." "I like that analogy, J.R. It's a great way to describe Big Daddy V." The look of confidence on Carlito's face vanishes as The 500-Pound Mastadon enters the arena. He raises his massive arms in the air and yells before walking to the ring. "Just look at the size of that man right there, Big Daddy V." "That man is a destructive individual. I tell ya something. I'm glad he wasn't around when I was in the ring." Third Match: Carlito vs. Big Daddy V Match: Carlito wastes little time, getting a running start and trying to hit Big Daddy V with a Flying Clothesline. The power of that man has always been great in my eyes, but after witnessing that move, I'm wondering if anyone can stop The 500-Pound Mastadon." Carlito grabs the back of his neck in pain, leaving many to wonder if he was injured from the move. "J.R., is Carlito ok? It looks like that move might have seriously damaged his neck." A replay of the move is shown, then again in slow-motion. It is apparent that Carlito's neck seemingly took the most pressure from the move. "Something's gotta be wrong with Carlito. You can't land like that and not expect to take some kind of pain." Big Daddy V pins Carlito with ease and exits the ring as Medics make their way down to the ring. Carlito is placed on a stretcher and wheeled to the back. Winner: Big Daddy V "One's gotta wonder just how much damage Carlito sustained from that manuever." "I guess Big Daddy V doesn't know his own strength. Or maybe he does, and just doesn't give a d*mn." Commercial break For years he has waged battles and come out on top. Scotty Goldman theme You know J.R., Scotty doesn't look like his normal self, he seems extremely focused. Indeed he does Tazz, indeed he does. It's not everyday you have to go up against someone like.. Lawrence Davidson theme Lawrence Davidson heatedly makes his way to the ring, with a smirk of ever so increasingly joy. Ring Announcer: "The following contest is scheduled for One Fall!" Scotty eyes Davidson as the Referre asks for the bell to rung. Eyeing him up and down, as if plotting how to go about attacking him.Power lock up. Both are struggling to gain advantage over the other. Seconds later with very little effort, Davidson pushes Scotty onto his back making him roll into the corner. Referee: "Onee!..Twoo!..Three!..Fourr!.." Davidson backs up to catch his breath, then goes back in for the kill. Suddenly Scotty rolls out of the way of Davidsons attempt for a massive head butt. That was sure as hell, the smartest move Scotty has ever made in his career. Unlike the idiotic move of accepting this match. Tazz, your just full of yourself. I try to see things in your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up my ass. As Davidson turns around, only more angered by Scotties move, Scotty attempts a Drop Kick. With success, he connects it straight to davidsons chest, but Davidson didn't fall! Scotty jumps up for another Drop Kick, contact again! Yet still, Davidson is on his feet! Can you believe the durability of Davidson? The unmoveable object he is. Flabergasted, Scotty runs towards the ropes, bounces off, and heads toward Davidson, preparing for a running DDT. WHAM! Scotty with enough awareness slid off the back of Davidson, and pushes Davidson head first into the turn buckle. Scotty realizing who is kneeling face first in the turnbuckle, runs towards the end of the ring, gaining speed, and hits Davidson with a Reverse Bronco Buster! to the back! Scotty Goldman, must have a leprachan under the ring, because that was pure luck! The force snaps Davidson to his back. Waisting little time Scotty gets on the top rope, and jumps off, landing a perfect MoonSault! Scotty is fighting fire with fire, trying to attempt moves like that! You gotta go big, to win big Tazz. Scotty rolls off of Davidson, and heads back up to the top of the rope, but just as he sets himself up for another moonsault Davidson hits Scotty with a hard right hand. Scotty off balance, Davidson gets on the second rope, prepairing for a powerful Super Power Bomb. Lifts Scotty, and jumps off the ring. This is it! This is the move that will end Scotties career! I have to hand it to you, when you say it's gonna be good, your damn right! Mike Adamle is standing in his office. It seems like he's on a phone call, but he hangs up the phone when his office door opens and Triple H walks in. "Can I help you?" "Can you help me? Don't play stupid with me, Adamle. You know full-well that making a Six-Man Tag Team Match for tonight is a bad idea. I should be in the ring with Edge, one-on-one.", The Game says, breathing heavily. "Triple H, calm down. In nearly a week's time, you'll be going one-on-one with Edge at No Way Out for the WWE Championship. I think you can wait a week. You see, I'm all ut what the people want. And what the people want, is to see you team up with CM Punk and another superstar of your choosing to compete in a Six-Man Tag Team Match." "I think, what the people want to see, is me kicking Edge's a*s down there in that ring!." "Well, I'm sorry, but I'm going to do what I feel is best for business. That being said, the Six-Man Tag Team Match scheduled for tonight is still on." Triple H stares at Adamle for a second before storming out of the office and slamming the door shut. "Well, one thing's for sure; Triple H is not happy about this Tag Team Match." "He may not be, but I know I am. I can't wait to see these teams go at it!" Todd Grisham is standing in the back with CM Punk. "Hello again everyone. I'm Todd Grisham, and I'm here with CM Punk. Now Punk, last week, you were viciously assaulted by John Cena after your match with Ezekiel Jackson in your own hometown of Chicago. Your thoughts?" "Todd, what I am I supposed to say? Am I supposed to pretend that I'm not bothered by it? Cena claims he respects me, and that he "did what he had to do". Let me tell you something; you don't assault someone that you respect. That's not how you handle things. If Cena wanted to prove himself, he could have challenged me to a match. But no. Cena thought it would be better to come out and attack me. Cena, I've got some news for you: this thing isn't over. You and I are going to meet in that ring, whether you like it or not. And when we are, I'm going to show you how a real man deals with his problems." Punk walks past Todd and out toward the arena. "Well, there you have it, ladies and gentlemen." "CM Punk is determined, that's for sure. But tonight, he's gotta put John Cena aside and focus on his Six-Man Tag Team Match." "No doubt about it. And that match, is next!" He walks to the end of the ramp and stops. Ezekiel Jackson theme The Brian Kendrick's former bodyguard is the next one to enter the arena. His reaction isn't as negative as Kozlov's, but it's still negative. Edge theme Edge enters the arena to boos. He holds up the Intercontinental Championship as his pyro explodes. He walks to the end of the ramp, says something to Kozlov and Ezkiel, and the three of them enter the ring. "What a main event this is going to be. And we still don't know who Triple H and CM Punk have chosen as their Tag Team Partner." "I can't wait to find out!" Edge gets a microphone. He looks around the arena and the fans boo him. "Triple H keeps going on about how he wants a one-on-one match with me. I don't know, though, why he's so focused on getting that match. I mean, if I was going to lose my WWE Championship, I wouldn't be anxious for it to happen." This statement doesn't go over well with the crowd, who continues to boo Edge. "I am The Rated-R Superstar. It is my time to shine. And this Sunday at No Way Out, I will regain the WWE Championship, and have not one, but two, Championships." Triple H theme The WWE Champion enters the arena to a massive ovation. The fans cheer as he makes his way to the ring with an angry look on his face. "The look on Triple H's face tells the story. He is anything but happy about having to compete in this match tonight." CM Punk theme The Straightedge Superstar, on the other hand, bursts into the arena with a smile on his face. The fans go wild as he runs down the ramp, taunting for the fans, and high-fiving some of them. He enters the ring and gets a microphone. "Triple H, look man, I know you're not happy about this match, so I took matters into my own hands and chose the third member of our team. I hope that's ok." Triple H gives Punk a "whatever" look. "Who's it gonna be?" RVD (Rob Van Dam) theme The London crowd goes wild as Mr. (apparently Friday) Night enters the arena. He taunts for the fans on the ramp as his pyro explodes. "It's Rob Van Dam! Listen to that ovation!" "I can barely hear you over the excitement of this crowd, J.R.!" MAIN EVENT MATCH: Triple H, CM Punk, & Rob Van Dam vs. Edge, Ezekiel Jackson, & Vladimir Kozlov [six-Man Tag Team Match] Match: Kozlov and Punk start things off. A Kick to the head of Kozlov by Punk has a very little effect on The Moscow Mauler, who rebounds quickly and hits Punk with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Kozlov taunts for a moment before applying a Front Headlock on a grounded Punk. Punk manages to escape the hold by Elbowing Kozlov in the chest a few times as both superstars get to their feet. Kozlov quickly reapplies the Front Headlock and uses his strength to lift Punk up into the air and Slam him face-first into the mat. "Look at the power demonstrated by The Moscow Mauler." "I see it full-well, Tazz. There's no questioning the strength of Vladimir Kozlov." Kozlov goes for the cover on Punk, but Punk wastes little time getting the shoulder up, kicking out at one. Kozlov Irish Whips Punk into the corner and nails him with a devastating Corner Clothesline. Punk nearly collapses, falling to the mat. Kozlov drags Punk to his corner and makes the Tag to Ezekiel Jackson. Rob Van Dam claps for Punk on the apron, trying to support his Tag Team Partner. Triple H stands angrily on the apron, not taking his eyes off of Edge. "The Game's eyes are locked on The Rated-R Superstar. If I was Edge, I'd get the h*ll out of there while I have the chance." "We know that last week Edge cost Triple H and Christian the WWE Tag Team Championships, and, although The Game wasn't happy about competing in a Tag Team Match, we all know he wouldn't have minded adding more Championship Gold to his collection." Ezekiel Jackson hits Punk with a Military Press Slam. The fans boo him as he looks around the arena. Ezekiel picks Punk up, and tries to Suplex him, but Punk counters and hits a Small Package. Ezekiel is definitely taken by surprise, as he narrowly escapes the count, kicking out right before the three. Punk tries to make a dash for his corner, but Ezekiel grabs his leg. Punk turns around and nails Ezekiel with an Inziguri. Punk begins to crawl toward the corner. "Punk's going for the Tag..can he make it?" "He's going..and he does!", J.R. exclaims as Punk makes the Tag to Rob Van Dam and Ezekiel makes the Tag to Edge. Edge goes for a Clothesline, but Van Dam nails him with a Spinning Wheel Kick. Van Dam does an "R V D" Taunt for the fans, who chant "R V D", before hitting Edge with some Rolling Thunder. Van Dam rolls into the cover, but Ezekiel Jackson breaks up the pin. Van Dam nails Ezekiel with a Dropkick, knocking him out of the ring. Van Dam turns around, and Edge hits Edgecution. Edge goes for the cover, but to everyone's surprise, Triple H breaks up the pin. The crowd goes wild as Edge begins to back away from Triple H. Kozlov Blind Tags himself in, and Triple H is forced to leave the ring by the Referee. Kozlov goes to hit Van Dam with a Big Boot, but Van Dam ducks it and Dropkicks Kozlov. "Rob Van Dam has control! Can he keep it? We'll find out..when we come back!" Commercial break For years he has waged battles and come out on top. He has proved time and time again that he is a force to be reckoned with. But has his day of reckoning finally come? Twelve Time WWE Champion Triple H defends the WWE Championship against The Ultimate Opportunist, Edge! WWE No Way Out! Sunday, February 15, 2009! Live! Only on Pay-Per-View! Kozlov Knees Van Dam in the chest and throws him into the corner. Kozlov hits Van Dam with some Shoulder Thrusts. Kozlov goes for a Corner Clothesline, but Van Dam moves out of the way, causing Kozlov to run into the turnbuckle. Van Dam hits a Schoolboy Pin, but Kozlov kicks out at two. Van Dam goes for a Clothesline, but Kozlov hits him with a Battering Ram Headbutt. "Uh-oh! Kozlov just blasted Van Dam with that Battering Ram Headbutt!" "That's all she wrote, folks!" Kozlov goes for the cover, but CM Punk comes in and breaks up the pin, which leads to Edge and Ezekiel Jackson running into the ring as well. Triple H comes in the ring and nails a running Edge with a Spinebuster to a huge ovation. Ezekiel Jackson tries to Chokeslam CM Punk, but Punk reverses the move into a DDT. Van Dam hits Kozlov with a Spinning Wheel Kick before hitting him with a Frog Splash. Triple H hits Edge with a Pedigree, and Punk hits Ezekiel Jackson with The GTS. "Total chaos has broken out in the ring!" "Bam! Triple H hits Edge with The Pedigree! Van Dam with the Frog Splash on Kozlov!" "Punk nails Ezekiel Jackson with that GTS! This match is about as good as over!" Triple H throws Edge out of the ring and CM Punk throws Ezekiel out of the ring. Van Dam tries to pin Kozlov, but The Moscow Mauler kicks out at two. Van Dam looks around in desperation as the fans chant "RVD". "Kozlov had too much time to recover after that Frog Splash." "How is Van Dam gonna put Kozlov away now?" Van Dam climbs to the top rope. Kozlov gets to his feet. Van Dam goes for a Diving Missle Kick, but Kozlov nails him with a Battering Ram Headbutt before the kick connects. Kozlov pins Van Dam to win the match for his team. Winners: Edge, Ezekiel Jackson, & Vladimir Kozlov Edge and Ezekiel Jackson hurry to the back. Vladimir Kozlov taunts in the ring. Triple H enters the ring and gets in Kozlov's face, breathing heavily. "Uh-oh! Something's gonna happen right here, right now! The Game and Kozlov are face-to-face in the ring!" CM Punk and Rob Van Dam walk to the back, not wanting to get involved in the fight that was seconds away from happening. The Game hits Kozlov with some Right Hands, and Kozlov starts to battle back the same way. Kozlov nails The Game with a Battering Ram Headbutt. By what must have been pure momentum, The Game gets right back up and nails Kozlov with a Spinebuster. Triple H exits the ring and gets a Sledgehammer from underneath the ring as "Triple H" chants begin to fill the arena. "Things aren't looking good for Kozlov!" "Before The Game was just angry. Now, he's angry, and armed." The Game goes to hit Kozlov in the chest with the Sledgehammer, but The Moscow Mauler wisely slides out of the ring. The Game throws the Sledgehammer at a retreating Kozlov before climbing to the top rope and taunting for the fans. On the next Friday Night Smackdown, the returning Sammy Lee teams up with the Debuting Kylarnartia to take on Booker T & The Hurricane!
MarbleZone
This one had more grammatical errors than I'd like, watch out for that in the future, 'kay? ;)Also, Big Daddy V's Ghetto Drop isn't the standing elbow, it's a regular Samoan Drop, and it's "Enzuigiri", no Inziguri. That aside, I liked this Smackdown better than RAW. Seems you got how to make the matches look perfectly realistic. The episode went perfectly fine up until Davidson vs Goldman. That part is full of errors, which is kind of annoying, but well narrated. I understand you didn't write that part, so here's my feedback on it: grammatical errors need to be corrected before posting the episode; when somebody else writes a part of the story, you, as the creator and man in charge, should read it to make sure it has no mistakes, then post it. As for the action itself, it was surprisingly well done. Everybody sounded a little off-character in their behaviour, but as far as in-ring action goes, it was a pretty nice read, you could tell the writer was enjoying himself, and that made for an exciting read. As for the Main Event, perfectly executed, but in my honest opinion, still a tad short. A 6-Man Tag match needs to be longer, needs more hot tags, more changes of pace and control. Especially considering the wrestlers involved in that match. Still, it was very well written, but perhaps, and this goes for all the other matches as well, you should add a bit more excitement to the narrative. Meaning, "Van Dam hits a Dropkick" is too straightforward. "Punk reverses the headlock" isn't exactly exciting. You need more adjectives, more description when calling the matches. You have to explain how the counters are made, and you gotta write them so they look exciting; call them like a play-by-play announcer would. Instead of "Van Dam hits a Dropkick", maybe something along the lines of "Van Dam takes it to the air with a perfectly executed Dropkick, what elevation on that jump!"... Well, you get the point, I'm not too good at this. :P Now, while my post seems most about criticism, bear in mind all I'm suggesting are minor fixes, because as you already know and don't need me to tell you, you already do a excellent job, and did so once more. Congratulations on this episode. ;)

Tabris
Eh - no Lord Smith? After all, this is Lord Smith country! Epic match, Goldman vs. Davidson. It is. Grammatical errors abound, sure, but the essence, the action... 'tis phenomenal. I'd go so far to say that match was the best in terms of grippin' the reader to his seat, if in this episode alone. Synchronized
NOTE: I will be trying out a different writing style similar to the one used for Event/Spoiler Reports on LordsofPain.net. I give credit to LordsofPain.net for the idea, as that's where I got it from. Please not that, unlike LordsofPain.net, I will write full-length matches. We start things off with Jamie Noble in the ring. He claims that it's been a long time since he's wrestled at Wrestlemania, and that it's time for a change. Noble says that he's going to prove himself over the weeks leading up to Wrestlemania. He says to bring out his opponent because he feels like beating somebody up. Kane comes out to a huge pop. Kane pins Noble with a Chokeslam in less than two minutes. Todd Grisham interviews Batista, who says that it's time for something to be done about the World Heavyweight Championship, because Raw has gone too long without a World Heavyweight Champion. Shawn Michaels attacks Batista from behind and throws him into a steel "garage" door. Then, we go to commercial. A Finlay vs. Striker "Yank" Boyd No Way Out Promo is shown. Back from the Commercial, we hear the Official No Way Out Theme Song, Hunt You Down, by Saliva. The Hardys defeat Mike Knox and Snitsky in a really good match that lasts nearly twenty minutes. The Hardys pick up the win when Matt pins Snitsky following a Twist of Fate. The Hardy celebrate in the ring until Stephanie McMahon comes out and announces that The Hardys will defend the WWE Tag Team Titles against Mike Knox and Snitsky next week. Another commercial, followed by a Singles Match between Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) and Manu. MVP gets the victory after hitting Manu with a Drive-By Kick off of the second turnbuckle. A really impressive move that, hopefully, we'll see MVP use again in the near future. Commercial break A Triple H vs. Edge No Way Out Promo is shown. Chandler Emerald announces that by the end of the night, there will be a World Heavyweight Championship Match made for No Way Out. Paul Burchill defeats Rey Mysterio after a Powerbomb. Mysterio hit the 619, and attempted a West Coast Pop, but Burchill caught him and hit a Powerbomb for the victory. Commercial break A Jack Swagger vs. Chris Jericho No Way Out Promo is shown. Finlay and a returning Jack Byron defeat Striker "Yank" Boyd and The Miz after Byron pins The Miz following a Mind Collapse. Boyd tries to attack Finlay after the match, but Byron would have none of it, sending the United States Champion packing with a Big Boot. Commercial break The Rock took on Devon Immortal in a decent match with resulted in a victory for The Rock following a Rock Bottom. Orton attacks The Rock, but Batista makes the save. Chandler Emerald comes out and announces that at No Way Out, Randy Orton would take on Kane for the World Heavyweight Championship.
The show kicks off with Big Show making his way to the ring. He says he's not angry about losing last week, but he would like to challenge Jack Swagger to a match. Swagger comes out and says that Big Show isn't worthy enough to wrestle with him. Swagger clocks Big Show with the microphone before retreating to the back, leaving a furious Big Show in the ring. Commercial break A Jack Swagger vs. Chris Jericho No Way Out Promo is shown. Up next we have The Brian Kendrick taking on Ren. Complete, and I mean complete, squash match. Ren completely destroys Kendrick before pinning him after his finishing move, a Double-Kick Shining Wizard, that he calls Masked Savior. Big Show is talking to Theodore Long in his office. Show demands a match with Jack Swagger later in the night. Long says that he can't make that match for tonight, but he can make it for next week, and he can make it an Extreme Rules Match. Commercial break A Triple H vs. Edge No Way Out Promo is shown. We hear the Official No Way Out Theme Song, Hunt You Down, by Saliva. Chris Jericho cuts a promo, telling the fans that he's going to retain the ECW Championship at No Way Out against Jack Swagger. Jericho is really over with the fans. Commercial break Tommy Dreamer and Kurt Angle defeat Jack Swagger and Mark Henry in a truely amazing Tag Team Match. Angle got the pin on Henry after an Angle Slam. Similar to last week, Dustin Delta came out and attacked Kurt Angle. Delta locked in a Crucifix, which Angle reversed into an Angle Slam, trumping Delta for the second week in a row.
Mike Adamle comes out and says that he will be covering for Vickie Guererro again this week. The fans reply with boos. Adamle says that he doesn't know why the fans hate him so much. This brings out Eric Bischoff, who receives a huge pop. Bischoff tells Adamle that the fans hate him because, quite frankly, he sucks. Bischoff says that due to the ratings decrease received last week when Mike Adamle was the General Manager of Smackdown, The Board of Directors has asked him to cover for Vickie Guererro instead. Triple H comes out, and tells Adamle that it's about time somebody shows him the error of his way. The Game hits Adamle with a Pedigree and Eric Bischoff makes a match between Triple H and Edge for later on in the night. Commercial break A Finlay vs. Striker "Yank" Boyd No Way Out Promo is shown. Shelton Benjamin picks up a victory over Brownlee thanks to Paydirt. Benjamin says that he will be going to Wrestlemania to compete in Money in the Bank. An Umaga Return Promo is shown. Commercial break Lawrence Davidson calls out Booker T. He says that they have some unfinished business that needs to be taken care of. Eric Bischoff comes out and tells Davidson that instead of facing Booker T tonight, he will face him this Sunday at No Way Out in a Street Fight. This brings out Scotty Goldman, who challenges Lawrence Davidson to a rematch. Davidson dominates most of the match, until Booker T comes out and provides a distraction, allowing Scotty Goldman to hit a Backslide Pin and win the match. Commercial break A Triple H vs. Edge No Way Out Promo is shown. Vladimir Kozlov and John Cena defeat CM Punk and Rob Van Dam. Cena walks out mid-match. Kozlov gets the pinfall victory after hitting Punk with a Battering Ram Headbutt. Todd Grisham interviews Edge, who says that it's ridiculous that he has to face Triple H tonight. Edge says that he refuses to compete against Triple H tonight. Bischoff walks up and tells Edge that instead of facing Triple H tonight, he'll be facing Goldberg Needless to say, this doesn't make Edge any happier. Commercial break We hear the Official No Way Out Theme Song, Hunt You Down, by Saliva. Kylarnartia and Sammy Lee defeat Booker T and The Hurricane in a pretty good match. Kylarnartia picks up the win after hitting The Hurricane with a Tiger Bomb. Commercial break Goldberg defeats Edge following a Jackhammer/Spear. Edge tries to get himself counted out, but Triple H enters the arena and throws him back in the ring. Triple H hits Edge with a Pedigree.

The fans go wild as the second Pay-Per-View of 2009 gets underway. ”Good evening everyone and welcome to No Way Out! Tonight is going to be a huge night in Pay-Per-View history!” ”You said it, J.R.! We have a great Match Card for tonight! All three World Championships are on the line! Plus, we’re going to see some Divas Action! We know that’ll make Jerry Lawler happy!” ”No doubt about that! This crowd is one of the loudest crowds I’ve been in front of in my entire life! These fans are definitely excited about tonight’s show!” ”And who can blame em’? I’m excited too!” ”We all are, Tazz! I believe we’re scheduled to get things started with Booker T taking on Lawrence Davidson in a Street Fight Match!” Shawn Michaels theme It seems J.R. was wrong, and that we’re actually going to get things started with Shawn Michaels. We know that the fans, and the superstars themselves, have wanted answers from Shawn Michaels for weeks, but he hasn’t given them anything. HBK enters the arena to a flurry of boos. He doesn’t do his usual kneeling/praying/fireworks scene. Instead, he just walks to the ring, seemingly emotionless. The Augusta crowd continues to boo him as he gets a microphone. ”Contrary to what Jim Ross said moments ago, it seems like we’re going to start things off with The Heart Break Kid himself, Shawn Michaels. And Shawn Michaels has become a different man as of late.” ”Yes. He has been assaulting superstars, and seemingly assisting Randy Orton. I think everybody deserves answers.” “Alright, look. I’m not happy about having to come out here and do this, but I’m not happy in the slightest about my actions as of late. Now I understand that all of you are mad at me, as it is with good reason. I’m not proud of what I had to do, but I did it to protect myself.” ”To protect himself? What is Shawn talking about?” ”I have no idea, King. I’m pretty sure Shawn is going to explain it, though.” “You see, a couple of weeks ago, I had returned, but I was staying backstage, because I wasn’t medically cleared to wrestle yet. During this time, and a little before that, I had become accustomed to using, say, illegal substances. In other words, I had started using steroids.” The crowd continues to boo Michaels, who is obviously struggling emotionally as he speaks. “Now, Randy Orton had somehow discovered this. He came to me and told me that unless I helped him become the World Heavyweight Champion, he was going to report me to the authorities.” ”Wait a minute? So Orton was blackmailing Shawn Michaels?” ”It looks that way. That’s just despicable.” ”Indeed it is. But you know Randy Orton; he’ll do whatever it takes to get what he wants.” “But you know what? I’m tired of having to suffer by doing whatever it is Randy Orton wants me to do. I’m Shawn Michaels! I’m The Heartbreak Kid! I’m nobody’s b*tch!” Suddenly, “HBK” chants are started, and they quickly fill the arena as the crowd shows their support for Michaels, who has obviously been going through a troubled time as of late. “I made the decision to stop using the substances after Randy Orton found out, but that didn’t stop him. He still threatened to report me. But now I’ve got but one thing to say. Randy! Report me if you want to! H*ll, I’ll report myself!” Michaels furiously unbuttons his shirt, takes it off, and throws it on the ground. He gets right up on the ropes. “Randy! I’ve had enough of your crap! Why don’t you get out here right now so I can kick your teeth down your throat!” ”It seems Shawn Michaels has reached a breaking point of sorts. He couldn’t handle “working”, if you will, for Randy Orton anymore!” ”Good for Shawn! I hope Randy Orton gets what’s coming to him tonight!” The crowd, and Michaels, turn their attention toward the TitanTron, awaiting Randy Orton’s arrival. The Undertaker theme The lights go out, and the arena becomes pitch black. Cheering can be heard in the background. A spotlight appears on the stage, and The Deadman himself, not Big Evil, is standing on the stage. He stares at HBK, and doesn’t move his eyes for a second. He rolls his eyes back, and a bolt of lightning strikes the ring post. Shawn Michaels stands in the ring, wide-eyed, staring into the face of what could very soon be his future. ”Oh my! What in the world have we just witnessed, King?” ”I think we witnessed the sending of a message. And I can assure you. That message was received.” Lawrence Davidson calls out Booker T. Booker T theme The 5-Time WCW Champion enters the arena. The fans cheer as he jumps up on the ramp and his pyro explodes. He high-fives some fans as he makes his way to the ring. ”After weeks of waiting, the WWE Universe received answers from Shawn Michaels regarding his recent behavior. After that, Shawn Michaels received a visit from The Undertaker. What does all this mean?” ”I dunno, J.R., but I’m sure we’ll find out over the coming weeks. Right now, we gotta focus on this contest!” ”We’re in for one h*ll of a treat with this Street Fight. The ever-powerful Lawrence Davidson takes on Booker T, a man who has not lost a match since making his return to the WWE.” Lawrence Davidson theme The crowd greets Davidson with boos as he enters the arena. He flexes on the stage, which only brings more boos. He keeps his eyes on Booker T as he makes his way to the ring. First Match: Booker T vs. Lawrence Davidson [Street Fight Match] Match: A victory was essential to the careers of both competitors. Davidson needed the win to make a name for himself. And what better way to do so than winning a Street Fight against a legendary competitor like Booker T at your first Pay-Per-View Event. Booker needed the win to basically prove that he “still had it”. Both competitors had the same idea to start, attempting to take each other down with a Clothesline. Neither Clothesline connected, though, as Booker ducked Davidson’s and nailed the powerhouse with some Knife-Edge Chops. Some “Woo!” chants could be heard throughout the arena as the chops were executed. Booker goes for an Irish Whip into the corner, but Davidson holds himself in place, and instead it’s Booker that’s on the receiving end of an Irish Whip. Davidson with the Shoulder Thrusts is next. Booker, in pain, collapses into a sitting position. Davidson follows it up with a devastating Boot to the face of a sitting Booker T. Davidson rolls Booker out of the corner, goes for the cover! 1..2..does he have it? No! Booker gets the shoulder up. Davidson rolls out of the ring, and lifts the ring apron. After a few seconds of looking around under the ring, he pulls out a Trash Can and throws it in the ring. Booker, needing to be cautious, slowly struggles to his feet. Still reeling from the Kick, though, Booker is unable to dodge the Trash Can shot, falling right back to the mat. Davidson with the cover again! But no! Booker kicks out! ”Booker T is full of resilience! For most superstars, that move woulda been it!” ”This match is important to Booker T, and you know he’s gonna do whatever he can to emerge victorious.” Davidson with another Irish Whip into the corner. Goes for a Corner Clothesline, but gets a mouthful of Booker’s boot instead. Booker climbs up to the second turnbuckle. Davidson wastes little time, running right back for Booker. Booker connects with the Sunset Flip out of the corner! 1! 2! Will he do it? No! Davidson kicks out. Both superstars get to their feet quickly. Booker nails Davidson with a Forearm Smash. Davidson gets right back up, and Booker hits another Forearm Smash! Another cover by Booker, but Davidson gets the shoulder up again! This time, it’s Booker that goes a’searchin for a weapon. He lifts the ring apron and pulls out a Stop Sign, along with a Kendo Stick, and throws them in the ring. ”This thing’s really turnin’ into a brawl, J.R.!” ”Well, when you throw two men who are incredibly tough, and incredibly resilient, into a ring, and give them access to any weapons of their choosing, what else do you expect to happen?” ”Good point. I guess they call it a Street Fight for a reason.” Booker re-enters the ring. Davidson’s up! He’s got the Stop Sign! Davidson nails Booker in the back with the Stop Sign, and Booker collapses to the mat. Davidson tries another cover, but once again, Booker gets the shoulder up. Davidson goes for a Vertical Suplex, but Booker wastes little time, and reverses into a Snap Suplex! Booker rolls into the cover! 1! 2! Oh and another kickout! ”How close was that?!” ”Too close!” Booker gets the Kendo Stick, and gets poised to strike. Davidson gets to his feet. Booker with the shot to the chest from the Kendo Stick! Davidson falls to one knee! Booker off the ropes, Scissors Kick, can he connect? Wait a second! Davidson reverses the Scissors Kick and lifts Booker onto his shoulders. Davidson goes for the Fireman’s Carry Backbreaker! Wait! Booker struggles, and Davidson drops him. Davidson turns around. Book End! ”This is it! Booker T just scored with that Book End!” ”Nice knowin’ ya, Davidson!” Cover! 1! 2! Kickout! ”What?!” ”You gotta be kidding me!” Booker T looks around in desperation. He exits the ring and grabs a Steel Chair. Davidson gets to his feet. Wham! Booker clocks Davidson in the head with the steel chair. What? Davidson starts to get to his feet! Booker off the ropes, Scissors Kick connects! Cover! 1! 2! 3! Winner: Booker T Both competitors receive a standing ovation as Booker T does a Spinarooni. ”Talk about a Street Fight! That was one h*ll of a match!” ”There were tons of near falls, but in the end, Booker T was able to pick up the win.” ”Alright, we’re gonna take you over to our Raw Colleagues for some Divas Action!” Beth Phoenix theme Beth Phoenix stood in the center of the ring, awaiting her opponent. Kelly Kelly theme The fans exploded in cheers as the No. 1 Contender walked into the No Way Out arena. She smiled and taunted on stage. She skipped down the ramp and high-fived the fans before sliding into the ring. She jumped onto the turnbuckle and taunted. She stepped down. Second Match: Beth Phoenix vs. Kelly Kelly [Women’s Championship Match] Match: Kelly ran forward and kicked Beth in the knee. She rolled up the Glamazon, who quickly kicked out. Kelly roundhouse kicked Beth in the head as she stood. Kelly pinned Phoenix again, who again kicked out. Beth punched Kelly in the arm, then the stomach. She used a double arm facebuster, and then pinned Kelly, who kicked out at two. ”Both women trying to get an early pin in this match, King!” Beth smashed her knee into Kelly’s chest, then locked in a sleeper hold. Kelly fell to the mat and Phoenix locked in an armbar. Kelly struggled to break the hold, and she couldn’t. Then she wrapped her legs around Beth’s neck. Beth stood and Kelly flipped her over onto her back and locked in a neck lock. Kelly walked over to then turnbuckle and climbed to the third rope. She leaped, but Beth jumped up and caught her in mid-air. She slammed the No. 1 Contender down to the mat and pinned her. Winner: Beth Phoenix Chris Jericho theme The fans cheer as the ECW Champion enters the arena. For weeks, Swagger has been struggling to get his career back on track, and it seems he succeeded this past Tuesday on ECW when he defeated Kurt Angle and The Big Show to earn a shot at the ECW Championship. If Jericho had connected with that Lionsault, we’d have a winner.” ”That is possible, Todd. Swagger is opportunistic, though. He uses that to his advantage, and more often than not, it works for him.” Swagger hits Jericho with a Facelock Spinning Neckbreaker. Swagger with the cover, but Jericho kicks out just before the three count, barely saving his Championship. Swagger applies a Side Headlock. Jericho reverses it into a Back Drop. Did you see the elevation Jericho got on that Bulldog?” ”How could you miss it, Matt? That move was incredible!” Jericho picks Swagger up. Jericho his Swagger with a Vertical Suplex. The fans begin to boo as Chavo Guerrero and Chris West, the two ECW Superstars that have formed an alliance with Jack Swagger, come to the ring. Jericho exits the ring to fight the two.. Jericho hits Chavo with a hard Left Hand. Chavo hits Jericho with some Right Hands. West sorts of stands back. ”What the h*ll are these guys doing out here?! This isn’t fair!” ”You know what they say, Todd. All’s fair in love and war.” Because Jericho initiated the contact, the match doesn’t end in disqualification. Those boos turn to cheers as Jericho’s friend, Sam Brushfire, rushes down to the ringside area. Brushfire pulls Chavo away from Jericho, Kicks him in the chest, and throws him head-first into the Security Barrier. West hits Brushfire from behind with a Kick to the back of the head. Jericho grabs West’s head and throws him into the steel steps. The referee exits the ring to stop the chaos. Therefore, he doesn’t notice Ren run in from the crowd and nail Swagger with the Masked Savior. Ren quickly scrambles out of the ring and runs under the ring. Jericho, taking advantage of this, runs into the ring and pins Swagger! 1! 2! 3! And Jericho retains the Championship! Winner: Chris Jericho ”I could barely tell what happened in all that chaos, but I noticed Ren come through the crowd and nail Swagger with that destructive kick!” ”Listen to this crowd! They’re going wild!” Jericho climbs into the crowd and celebrates a hard-fought victory with the fans as Swagger lies lifeless in the ring. ”Ren got a measure of revenge on Swagger!” ”A measure? He nearly took Swagger’s head off!” Big Show theme ”Uh-oh! After Edge and his wife, Vickie Guerrero, patched up their relationship, Edge was given a Title Match for right here tonight at No Way Out.” ”And let’s not forget, Edge won the Intercontinental Championship two weeks ago on Raw.” Triple H theme The Game enters the arena to a standing ovation. The lights flash throughout the arena as he takes a sip of water before walking down the ramp. The WWE Championship is around his waist, and the spinner spins on occasion. The Game takes another sip of water, throws the water bottle, and climbs onto the ring apron before spraying the water in the air and flexing. He enters the ring, climbs to the top turnbuckle, and bows to the fans. ”What an ovation for the Twelve-Time WWE Champion!” ”The Game has been on a roll as of late. J.R., did you know that The Game has had that WWE Championship for nearly a year?” ”Yes I did, Tazz. He’s held that Championship for nine months and nineteen days! A few more weeks and The Game will break the record for the longest reigning WWE Champion in Smackdown History!” ”That’s a record currently held by John Bradshaw Layfield. As much as I’d like to see The Game break that record, something tells me that Edge will be walking out of here tonight with the WWE Championship.” Edge theme The Augusta crowd boos The Rated-R Superstar as he emerges on the stage. He walks down the ramp and stops as his pyro explodes. Then, he continues walking and enters the ring. Fourth Match: Triple H vs. Edge [WWE Championship Match] Match: Argueably the biggest match of the evening, both competitors were gunning to beat the life out of each other. Well, maybe Triple H more than Edge, but still, you knew this one was gonna be a fight for the ages. The Game wastes no time, and begins nailing Edge with a flurry of Right Hands to the face. Edge falls to the mat, and Triple H gets over him and repeatedly hits him with Blows to the face. The referee has to pull The Game off of Edge. Edge gets to his feet, and goes for a Clothesline, but The Game nails him with a Spear and begins to hit him with Right Hands again. ”Dear lord! The Game is physically destroying Edge here!” ”I take back what I said earlier! Maybe Edge isn’t going to emerge victorious!” The Game picks up Edge and hurls him over the top rope, sending him crashing to the floor below. The Game looks around the arena and the fans begin to chant “Triple H”. He goes to exit the ring, but the Referee blocks him. The Game backs up to show the Referee that he’s going to wait for Edge to come back into the ring. As the Referee steps away, The Game exits the ring. He goes right for Edge, which is a mistake, because Edge Trips him, causing him to land face-first onto the steel steps, instantly shifting the control. Edge viciously Slams Triple H’s head on the steel steps a few times before throwing him into the Security Barrier. The fans boo as Edge hits The Game with Kicks and Punches before throwing him back in the ring to avoid the match ending via Count-Out. ”My how the control has changed. Edge relentlessly hammering at The Game. One’s gotta wonder if Triple H is even able to stand right now.” ”These guys wanna tear each other apart. And I don’t know anyone who would want to get in the middle of that fight.” Looking to end the match after gaining the upper hand, Edge backs up into the corner, measuring Triple H for a Spear. The Ultimate Opportunist dashes out of the corner for a Spear, but runs into a Spinning Spinebuster. The Game falls to the mat, likely because he used most of his energy to deliver the Spinebuster. The Game crawls to the cover! Can he do it! 1! 2! Oh and Edge gets the shoulder up! Both superstars slowly get to their feet. A battle of Right Hands follows, with Triple H coming out on top. The crowd goes wild as Triple H applies a Figure-Four Leg Lock.. Edge yells in pain, and tries desperately to break the hold. ”The Game’s got that Figure-Four locked in! Shades of The Nature Boy, Ric Flair!” Edge uses every last fiber of being in his body to crawl to the ropes and grab them. The Game quickly breaks the hold and pulls Edge away from the ropes. He bounces off the ropes and hits a Knee Drop. The fans go wild as Triple H taunts, and seemingly measures Edge for the Pedigree. Edge gets to his feet, and Triple H goes for the Pedigree! Will he get it? No! Edge with the Back Body Drop. Edge falls to his knees in pain. The Game nails Edge with a Forearm Smash. Edge quickly gets to his feet and The Game connects with a High Knee, similar to that used by Harley Race. The Game picks Edge up, and Edge Kicks him in the chest. Edge connects with an Edgecution! ”The Edgecution out of nowhere! Will this be enough?” ”My god, J.R.! This match has got me on the end of my seat! I think it’s safe to say the same for everyone else in this arena as well!” Edge covers! 1! 2! The Game gets the shoulder up! Edge sits up in literal disbelief, eyes wide. He goes to the corner for a Spear. The Game gets up, unaware, and gets slammed with a Spear. Sensing that this is the end, Edge drags himself to The Game and manages to drape one arm over the fallen Champion. The referee begins to count. 1! 2! 3..? No wait! The Game kicks out! The crowd goes wild! ”No way! You gotta be kiddin’ me!” ”I don’t believe it! Edge doesn’t believe it! H*ll, even these people don’t believe it!” ”The Game kicked out on pure momentum!” Edge gets up. The Game gets to his feet as well. Edge goes for another Spear, but Triple H throws him into the ring post. Edge, reeling, stumbles around and The Game Kicks him in the chest, hooks the arms, Pedigree! The Game crawls into the cover! 1! 2! 3! And The Game retains! Winner: Triple H The Game is unable to stand, as is Edge. The Referee helps The Game to his feet and raises his arm in the air before handing him the WWE Championship Belt. The Referee lets go of The Game’s arm and he falls to one knee. ”I am speechless. That was a legendary match. Certainly one that I won’t forget about.” ”That’s completely true, J.R. Both of these men took each other to the limit, but it was The Game that emerged victorious.” Chandler Emerald theme The fans cheer as the General Manager of Raw enters the arena. He walks to the ring, microphone in hand as Triple H walks to the back. ”What’s Chandler Emerald doing out here?” “I’m sorry to come out here at a time like this, but there’s something I need to say.” Edge begins to leave the ring. “Hey, Edge, hold on a second. This concerns you. See, you won the Intercontinental Championship two weeks ago on Raw. Before you won it, I was the Intercontinental Champion. As the former Champion, I have a Rematch Clause.” The fans cheer as Edge opens his eyes wide, realizing what Chandler is trying to say. “And I’ve decided to cash it in right here, right now!” Fifth Match: Chandler Emerald vs. Edge [Intercontinental Championship Match] Match: Edge tries to argue with Emerald, but Emerald will have none of it. He grabs Edge, and drops him with a Stunner. The referee signals for the bell and rushes in the ring. 1! 2! 3! We have a new Intercontinental Champion! He is laying lifeless on the ground. There are medics checking on him. Emerald quickly rushes to the back, soon appearing on the TitanTron himself. The medics inform him that Finlay is unconscious, and unable to compete. Therefore, it looks like we’ll be going straight to the Main Event, which is Randy Orton versus Kane. I can tell by the look in his eyes that he’s determined to win this thing.” ”Really? I thought that look meant he was crazy.” ”Who knows? You could be right. We were supposed to have a United States Championship Match, but Finlay was found unconscious in the back. I’m guessing Striker Boyd is responsible for this.” ”Who else would it be? Anyway, just moments ago, Raw regained the Intercontinental Championship thanks to Chandler Emerald.” ”True, it did. Now it’s time to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion. Who will it be? Kane or Orton?” ”I want Kane to win, but it will most likely be Orton.
