ECW Opening

 

John Morrison theme

 

The Self-Proclaimed "Shaman of Sexy" enters the arena with a smug look on his face. His Tag Team Partner, Dolph Ziggler, did not accompany him to the ring as he was in the back preparing for Singles Action later on in the night. Morrison smiled as he walked down the ramp with this World Tag Team Championship Belt around his waist. The fans didn't hesitate to fill the arena with boos.

 

Rey Mysterio theme

 

The Master of the 619 ran onto the stage and received a huge ovation from the fans. Mysterio taunted for the fans before making his way to the ring. Upon entering the ring, he climbed to the top turnbuckle and taunted for the fans again.

 

"What a huge ovation for Mysterio, and a rather nice surprise to see Mysterio here on ECW."

 

"I gotta admit, it's certainly nice. I love watching Mysterio compete, and what better place to watch him compete than ECW?"

 

"Mysterio was one of the many superstars that attacked Randy Orton last night as Raw came to a close, and you can be sure Mysterio probably enjoyed being able to knock some sense into Orton."

 

"I don't doubt it. Orton has been wreaking havoc throughout the entire WWE as of late, and it's about time he gets knocked down a few pegs."

 

First Match: John Morrison vs. Rey Mysterio

 

Match: Morrison goes for a Clothesline, but Mysterio ducks and connects with some Right Hands to the face. Mysterio tries to Irish Whip Morrison, but the "Shaman of Sexy" reverses the Irish Whip and Irish Whips Mysterio into the corner. Morrison runs to hit Mysterio, who puts his feet up. Mysterio battles back with some more Right Hands before hitting Morrison with a Hurracanrana onto the ropes. Mysterio goes for an early 619, but Morrison moves out of the way. Mysterio goes for a West Coast Pop, but Morrison connects with a Mid-Air Dropkick. Morrison covers Mysterio, who kicks out at two. Morrison hits Mysterio with a powerful Kick to the back and goes for another cover, but Mysterio kicks out again. Morrison hits Mysterio with some Punches to the face, but stops when the referee's count reaches four. Morrison backs up, and Mysterio gets to his feet. Morrison goes for a Suplex, but Mysterio counters into a Small Package, but Morrison kicks out at two. Mysterio goes for a Running Bulldog, but Morrison reverses it into a Back Drop. Morrison goes for the Moonlight Drive, but Mysterio trips him. Mysterio bounces off the ropes and hits a sitting-up Morrison with a Dropkick. Mysterio goes for the cover, but once again, Morrison kicks out at two. Morrison goes for a Spinning Wheel Kick, but Mysterio ducks and Morrison lands against the ropes. Mysterio bounces off the ropes and hits Morrison with the 619. Mysterio goes to the top and Drops the Dime on Morrison, pinning him to win the match.

 

Winner: Rey Mysterio

 

"Talk about impressive. That was one of the greatest matches I've seen in a long time."

 

"I agree. Morrison and Mysterio gave it everything they had, and Mysterio was able to win. Mysterio should wrestle on ECW more often."

 

"I don't think anyone would have a problem with that, except maybe his opponents."

 

Commercial break

 

"Welcome back to ECW. And let's take a look at what happened two weeks ago on Monday Night Raw when Randy Orton went one-on-one with Matt Hardy."

 

Hardy gets to his feet first and ascends to the second rope before dropping an Elbow on the back of Orton's neck as the Legend Killer tries to get to his feet. Hardy goes for the cover, but Orton gets the shoulder up before the three count. Orton gets up and Hardy connects with the Side Effect for a near fall. Hardy sets Orton up for the Twist of Fate. Hardy attempts the Twist of Fate, but Orton counters it, pushing face-first into the corner. Orton hits an Inverted Neckbreaker on Hardy. Orton sets Hardy up for the RKO.

 

"The Viper-like Randy Orton is getting ready to close in on his prey!"

 

"If Orton hits this, this match is as good as over."

 

Hardy gets to his feet and Orton goes for an RKO. Hardy counters, though. Orton turns around and hits a Low Blow on Hardy, causing the referee to call for the bell.

 

"Come on now! Orton just got intentionally disqualified!"

 

"Orton doesn't care about winning or losing, he cares about inflicting pain. And you can rest assured he's done that here tonight."

 

Orton picks a lifeless Hardy up and drops him with an RKO. Then, Orton goes to the corner to set Hardy up for a Punt.

 

"No someone's gotta stop this!"

 

"Oh come on Orton don't do this!"

 

Orton runs and Punts Hardy in the head, knocking him out.

 

"Dear lord what a Punt! Hardy's gonna need medical attention!"

 

"Someone get Orton out of that ring! He's inflicted enough damage as it is!"

 

Orton walks to the back to massive boos as medics come down to the ring and put Hardy on a stretcher.

 

"In what was a vicious assault, Matt Hardy suffered a Concussion, and was unable to compete this past week."

 

"And ladies and gentlemen we are standing by via satellite with Matt Hardy. Matt?"

 

Matt Hardy appears, sitting on a chair, on the TitanTron.

 

"I'm here."

 

"You're looking a lot better than before. Tell us; what is the deal with you and the Royal Rumble? Will you be able to participate?"

 

"First of all, let me say this. Matt, Todd, thank you for taking the time to do this. Second of all, I will infact be at the Royal Rumble."

 

The fans begin to chant "Hardy" while Matt adjusts his seat.

 

"That's great to hear. Now, we received word that you suffered a Concussion from Orton's attack. Care to give us an update on your current condition?"

 

"My condition? It's gonna take a lot more than a Kick to the head to keep me out. I did suffer a Concussion, and there's the occasional blackout, but I'm not gonna let that stop me from making it to the Royal Rumble. Randy Orton, I know you're listening; I have a message for you. Actually, a promise. I promise you that you will not walk out of the Royal Rumble with the World Heavyweight Championship. As a matter of fact, if I get my way, you won't be "walking" out at all."

 

The transmission is cut and the screen goes black.

 

"Powerful and straight-to-the-point words from Matt Hardy."

 

"Powerful words indeed. Hardy is intent on taking out Orton at the Royal Rumble, and with all of the bad luck Orton has been having lately, I wouldn't be surprised if Hardy succeeds."

 

"Speaking of Randy Orton, he's been getting assaulted left and right lately. After watching him Punt four superstars in the head over the past two weeks, I can't say it bothers me. Orton has went overboard, and it's time he pays the price."

 

"One's gotta wonder who Orton will face at the Royal Rumble for the World Heavyweight Championship, or if he'll even face anyone at all."

 

"He was originally supposed to face Ted DiBiase, but that can't happen now, thanks to a Punt to the head that DiBiase recieved two weeks ago on Raw, courtesy of the Legend Killer."

 

"At first, there was a possiblity that DiBiase would make it to the Rumble, but it was later confirmed that DiBiase, like John Bradshaw Layfield, is out indefinitely."

 

"Well, still to come tonight, ECW Newcomer, and the newest member of the New Superstar Initiative, Chris West, goes one-on-one with The Undertaker. But up next, Dolph Ziggler goes one-on-one with Slash!"

 

Commercial break

 

Dolph Ziggler theme

 

The fans boo and yell as Ziggler walks into the Land of Extreme. He begins to walk down the ramp.

 

”Last night, Ziggler and Morrison lost to Finlay in Slash. Tonight, Ziggler battles Slash in singles competition!”

 

”You better believe this is gonna be a classic match!”

 

Dolph slides into the ring and taunts in the center. He walks in circles as the music stops.

 

Slash theme

 

The fans go wild as Slash enters the arena. He taunts on stage and runs down the ramp, high-fiving the fans. He jumped onto the security border and taunted. He leapt off and grabbed the middle rope and stepped into the ring. He climbed onto the turnbuckle and taunted. He ran along the ropes and jumped down.

 

"Slash, who got drafted to ECW in the Draft Lottery, has really improved since joining ECW. He was on somewhat of a losing streak when he first debut, but now he's getting on track, and I have a feeling that he's only going to get better."

 

"Slash debuted against CM Punk, and didn't end up winning his match because of The Undertaker. He then went on to have a rivalry with The Deadman, but Striker "Yank" Boyd, a man who idolizes The Undertaker, put an end to that real quick."

 

Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. Slash

 

Slash came running with a Spear. Ziggler quickly stood and hit a powerslam. He locked in a Dragon Sleeper, which Slash quickly broke. Slash jumped and hit a flying forearm. Ziggler fell to the ropes and received a Spinebuster from Slash.

 

”This could be it!”

 

Slash pinned Ziggler, who barely kicked out. Ziggler stood and hit a enziguri. Slash stands an hits a clothesline, and follows it up with a knee drop. Slash hit a Knee Lift, then climbed the turnbuckle and hit a Swanton-like maneuver. He pinned Ziggler, who kicked out again. Ziggler stood and hit a hip toss. He then used a Rolling Thunder. He taunted and then pulled Slash to his feet and hit a superkick. He bounced off the top rope and hit an elbow drop. He pinned Slash and reached victory.

 

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

 

”Slash put up a great fight, but the undefeated Dolph Ziggler proved that he doesn't go down easy.”

 

"I'm sure we'll see these two face-off again in the near future, and I'm not complaining about it."

 

Jack Swagger is walking in the hallway. He stops in front of Theodore Long's office and knocks on the door.

 

"Come in."

 

Swagger opens the door and walks inside.

 

"What can I do for ya, playa?"

 

"Don't play stupid with me. You know exactly what you can do. Cancel the match you made between West and The Undertaker, and give me another match with Sam Brushfire."

 

"I'm sorry playa, but I can't do that."

 

"Oh, and why not?"

 

"Well ya see, I've got about fifteen-thousand people sitting out there in that arena waiting to see Chris West makes his debut against Big Evil."

 

The fans begin to cheer in excitement.

 

"Now, I can't just cancel the match and disappoint all those fans. But I tell ya what I can do. Next week, right here, I'll put you one-on-one with Sam Brushfire one last time. If you can win, you'll become the Number One Contender for the ECW Championship, and you'll go on to the Royal Rumble to face Chris Jericho for the Title. If you lose, you won't be allowed to challenge for the ECW Championship as long as Chris Jericho remains the Champion."

 

Swagger sort of smiles, but sort of cringes at the same time. He puts his hand against his lips like he's thinking for a moment.

 

"Fine."

 

Swagger storms out of the office and slams the door.

 

"What a huge match that's gonna be! The undefeated Sam Brushfire taking on the man who most of his victories are over, Jack Swagger!"

 

"And if Swagger wins, he goes on to face Chris Jericho for the ECW Championship at the Royal Rumble. But if he loses, he can't channelge for the Title as long as Chris Jericho remains the Champion1"

 

"Speaking of huge matches, Chris West makes his ECW Debut, next, when he goes one-on-one with The Undertaker!"

 

A Chris West vs. The Undertaker Match Card with the text Up Next appears on the TitanTron.

 

Commercial break

 

Suddenly, the fans begin to cheer as a man runs to the ring from the back. He's around Rey Mysterio's height, and has short, spiked, brown hair. He runs into the ring and Chavo and Swagger stop assaulting Brushfire. He walks toward Swagger, but stops, turns around, and kicks Brushfire right in the chest. Then, Swagger, Chavo, and this new superstar begin to attack Brushfire. Brushfire's friend, Chris Jericho, runs to the ring to help him, but the number's game is too much for him. Swagger, Chavo, and the new superstar attack Jericho before Swagger drops him with a Swagger Bomb.

 

"Come on! This just isn't fair!"

 

"I agree, but there's nothing we can do about it. I wonder who that guy is that's helping Chavo and Swagger. I've never seen him before."

 

"I don't know who he is, but it seems like he's aligned himself with Swagger and Guererro."

 

The Undertaker theme

 

The fans scream in excitement as the roar of Taker's motorcycle is heard and Big Evil enters the arena. Swagger, Chavo, and the new superstar stare at Taker in surprise. Taker drives toward the ring, stops in front of the ring, and climbs off of his motorcycle before getting a Steel Chair from underneath the ring and entering the ring.

 

"Here we go! Big Evil's gonna teach Swagger and the others a lesson!"

 

"Look at the fear in the eyes of Jack Swagger!"

 

Chavo runs toward Taker, but Taker literally throws the chair at him, causing it to smash against his face and take him out. The new superstar runs toward Taker, but Big Evil grabs him and drops him with a thunderous Chokeslam. Swagger tries to hit Big Evil with a Kendo Stick, but Taker nails him with a Big Boot before he has the chance to. Taker picks up Swagger and drops him with the Last Ride. Brushfire slowly gets to his feet and sees Taker, who points toward Swagger. Brushfire smiles, taunts for the fans, and goes to the top turnbuckle. Brushfire hits Swagger with a Corkscrew Flip from the top rope and pins him as the referee counts to three.

 

"Here is your winner, Sam Brushfire!"

 

Jack Swagger theme

 

Boos fill the arena as Swagger, West, and Chavo emerge on the ramp. Swagger and Chavo taunt, but West doesn't really do anything. He looks around the arena for a second before starting to walk to the ring.

 

"Swagger and Chavo look confident, but that's probably because they don't have to step into the ring with The Undertaker."

 

"West's face tells the story. He's excited about his debut, but he's not happy in the slightest about the fact that his Debut Match is against Big Evil."

 

Swagger says something to West before West enters the ring. He stretches in the ring for a minute, waiting for his opponent to come out.

 

The Undertaker theme

 

The fans cheer like crazy as the familiar roar of The Deadman's Motorcycle echoes throughout the arena. Seconds after, The Deadman drives onto the stage and raises his arm in the air, taunting for the fans. The cheers get louder as Taker drives down the ramp. He parks his motorcyle, takes off his sunglasses, and enters the ring.

 

Main Event: The Undertaker vs. Chris "Rapidfire" West

 

Match: West runs toward Taker, but stops as Taker begins moving toward him. He and Taker attempt to lock-up in the center of the ring, but West backs up every time, afraid to lock-up. West goes for a Clothesline, and runs right into a Big Boot, much to the delight of the fans. Taker drops West with a Suplex, followed by another Suplex, followed by a Pumphandle Slam.

 

"Undertaker is just takin' it to Chris West!"

 

"If West wasn't happy about having to wrestle The Undertaker before, imagine how unhappy he is about it now!."

 

Taker bounces off the ropes and hits West with a Standing Leg Drop. Taker goes for the cover, but West kicks out at two. Taker Irish Whips West, but West stops himself against the ropes. Taker goes for a Clothesline, but West ducks and pulls down the top rope, causing Taker to go over the top rope. West tries to catch his breath in the ring. Taker gets up, but West hits him with a Baseball Slide. West quickly slides out of the ring and begins to hit Taker with Blows to the back. Taker pushes West into the Security Barricade. Taker picks up West and drops him on the Security Barrier. Taker throws West in the ring so that his head is sticking out underneath the ropes. Taker climbs on the Ring Apron and drops West with a Leg Drop. Taker sets up West for a Chokeslam, but West kicks Taker in the kneecap and hits him with some Blows to the back. West drops Taker with a DDT. West goes for the cover, but Taker kicks out. West bounces off the ropes and flips over Taker from behind, pulling his neck down. West goes for another cover, but Taker gets the shoulder up at two. Taker Irish Whips West into the corner and goes for a Clothesline, but West moves out of the way. West Dropkicks Taker in the back and hits a Roll-Up Pin, but Taker kicks out at two. Taker hits West with Snake Eyes, followed by a Flip-Over Clothesline. Taker sets West up for a Chokeslam again. West gets to his feet, and Swagger climbs up on the Ring Apron. The referee turns his attention to Swagger, as does The Undertaker. Taker punches Swagger off the Apron. West gets to his feet in the corner. Taker runs to Clothesline West, but West leaps to the third rope and hits Taker with a Corkscrew Over Castle. West pins Taker and wins the match.

 

Winner: Chris "Rapidfire" West

 

"Thanks to the distraction from Jack Swagger, Chris West was able to defeat The Undertaker in his Debut Match!"

 

"What an impressive way to end the match! That Corkscrew Over Castle must have inflicted a lot of damage to Big Evil!"

 

Swagger, Chavo, and West begin to attack Taker in the ring. Swagger has Chavo and West hold Taker while he slaps him in the face before having them pick him up. Swagger drops Taker with a Swagger Bomb. Jericho and Brushfire rush the ring, and Jericho hits West with a Codebreaker. Brushfire hits Chavo with the Phoenix Drop [Picks up like an FU, and drops chest-first onto his knees]. Swagger exits the ring and walks toward the back, smiling. A man runs out from the back and literally Spears Swagger in the back. The man picks up Swagger's head and slams it repeatedly into the Steel Ramp before picking him up and DDT'ing him onto the ramp. The man stares at the superstars in the ring with a crazy look in his eyes as the show comes to a close.

The fans begin to cheer as the famous Smackdown Pyro explodes onto the stage, signaling the beginning of what is sure to be a great show.

[color=purple]”Good evening everybody and welcome to Friday Night Smackdown! I’m Good Ol’ J.R., Jim Ross, alongside Tazz, and we are here in Hollywood, California!”[/color]

[color=orange]”It’s so awesome to be here in Hollywood, J.R.! It’s like Celebrity City here!”[/color]

[color=purple]”That is is, Tazz. I’m glad to be here as well, and I’m glad that tonight’s show is gonna be a great one.”[/color]

[color=orange]”That seems like a bit of an understatement to me, but I catch your drift.”[/color]

[color=purple]”It may very well be a understatement. Especially taking into consideration the fact that CM Punk battles Ezekiel Jackson in a Championship Scramble Qualifying Match up later on tonight!”[/color]

[color=orange]”And tonight, we’re gonna find out more of the entrants in this year’s Royal Rumble! Along with another Championship Scramble Qualifying Match. That match being Montel Vontavious Porter, MVP, taking on the Cornbread Colossus, Festus.”[/color]

The fans went haywire as Smackdown’s Hip-Hop Superstar entered the crowd and began to sing for the fans while making his way to the ring. “What’s Up?” chants could be heard throughout the arena as R Truth made his way to the squared circle.

[color=purple]”What a great way to start what’s going to be a great show! R Truth fell short of victory last week in his match against Edge, but hopefully he’s put that behind him and prepared himself for this match-up that he’s about to participate in.”[/color]

[color=orange]”Truth is one h*ll of an athlete, and I highly doubt he’s gonna let one loss discourage him.”[/color]

The fans look on in surprise as the Italian Loudmouth emerges on the ramp with a microphone. He smiles and waves to the fans.

[color=orange]”Same here. Why would Santino be here tonight?”[/color]

“A hello everyone. My name is a Santino Marella, and I am a the most talented Superstar in the business. I’m more talented than any of those Hollywood Celebrities, too. People like a Akon, Franz Ferdinand, and anyone else you can think of.”
This brings Santino some boos from the crowd as he continues to smile on the ramp.

“Thank you, thank you”, he says mockingly. “Now, I bet you are a wondering why Santino Marella is here on Smackdown. Allow me to explain. I felt mistreated and underappreciated on Raw, so I requested a brand change. I asked Chandler Emerald to send me over to Smackdown. Hopefully I can be treated with the respect I deserve here.”

[color=purple]”So Santino’s officially a Smackdown Superstar now?”[/color]

[color=orange]”Seems that way. It’s gonna be great havin’ Santino on Smackdown each and every week!”[/color]

[color=purple]”I wouldn’t say great, but it will definitely be interesting.”[/color]

Santino walks to the ring, takes off his jacket, and gets ready to fight.

First Match: R Truth vs. Santino Marella

Match: Santino goes for a Clothesline, but Truth ducks and hits Santino with some Backhand Chops. Santino grabs his chest in pain. Truth Irish Whips Santino in the corner and Clotheslines him. Truth hits a Standing Elbow Drop and goes for the cover, but Santino gets the shoulder up. Truth goes for a Clothesline, but this time it’s Santino that ducks before dropping Truth with a DDT. Santino taunts before applying a Side Headlock. Truth gets to his feet and Elbows Santino in the chest three times before pushing him toward the ropes. Santino comes back and hits Truth with a Head-Knee Smash. Santino goes for a Clothesline, but Truth hits a Superkick. Truth waits for Santino to get to his feet before taking him down with a 360 Clothesline. Truth sets Santino up for the Axe Kick, but Santino moves out of the way and hits Truth with a Flashback. Santino pins Truth to win the match.

Winner: Santino Marella

[color=orange]”What an upset! But Santino got a successful start to his Smackdown Career by defeating R Truth!”[/color]

Commercial break

The fans stand on their feet and cheer loud enough to blow the roof off of the arena as Goldberg emerges on the stage and stands in his Pyro.

[color=purple]”Listen to that ovation for Goldberg!”[/color]

[color=orange]”Goldberg’s a Celebrity himself, you know? He’s starred in a couple of movies.”[/color]

Goldberg high-fives some fans as he makes his way to the ring for one-on-one competition.

"I have been asked what my plans are for the Championship Scramble at the Royal Rumble. Now, allow me to explain. Obviously, the WWE Champion Triple H will be in the match as his title will be on the line. The rest of the entrants will be determined over the next two weeks. as superstars will participate in Qualifying Matches. Tonight, Edge will go one-on-one with R Truth, and next week, Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) will battle Festus, along with CM Punk going one-on-one with Ezekiel Jackson!"

[b]The fans explode into an array of cheers as Goldberg emerges on the ramp and walks through his pyro. Mr. McMahon has a rather angry look on his face while The Brian Kendrick has a terrified look on his face.

[color=purple]"Dear lord! It's Goldberg! Look at Kendrick! He looks like he's seen a ghost!"[/color]

[color=orange]"What the h*ll is he doin' out here?! I don't think Mr. McMahon expected this at all, J.R.!"[/color]

"Goldberg" chants can be heard throughout the arena as the former World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring. McMahon signals for Kendrick to attack Goldberg when he enters the ring, but Kendrick receives a Spear before he has a chance to do anything other than run toward Goldberg. The fans' cheers get even louder as Goldberg gets in Mr. McMahon's face before taking his microphone from him.

[color=orange]"So much for Kendrick being of any assistance!"[/color]

[color=purple]"It looks like that look of confidence has left the Chairman's face as well!"[/color]

[color=orange]"Mr. McMahon was about to announce the last Championship Scramble Qualifying Match, but Goldberg came out here before he had the chance to."[/color]

"Vince, before you announce that last match, allow me to remind you of something. I can break you in half effortlessly."

The fans continue to cheer and Vince gets an even more frieghtened look on his face.

"At New Year's Revolution, in my return match, I was screwed out of the WWE Championship by John Bradshaw Layfield and his goonies. Well now that JBL is out of action, I don't have to worry about that anymore. So I want you to do one of two things. You can either just put me in the Scramble Match, or you can put me in a Qualifying Match. Either way, I'm walking out of the Royal Rumble with the WWE Championship."

[color=purple]"Goldberg has not taken his eyes off of the Chairman for a second."[/color]

[color=orange]"If I was Mr. McMahon, I wouldn't hestitate to put Goldberg in the Scramble. Especially when he's standing two feet away from me."[/color]

Second Match: Goldberg vs. The Brian Kendrick

Match: Goldberg takes Kendrick down with a Clothesline. Goldberg Irish Whips Kendrick into the corner and Kendrick crashes into the turnbuckle before falling down. Goldberg picks Kendrick up and Knees him in the chest twice before hitting him with a Military Press Slam. Goldberg goes for the cover, but Kendrick gets the shoulder up at two. Goldberg Knees Kendrick in the chest again before Irish Whipping him into the corner. Goldberg goes for a Corner Clothesline, but Kendrick moves out of the way. Goldberg turns around and nails Kendrick with a devastating Spear. Goldberg hits Kendrick with The Jackhammer and pins him to win the match.

Winner: Goldberg

[color=orange]"Earlier this week on RAW, JR, MVP saved the U.S. Champ from Kozlov, and then was confronted by The Brian Kendrick. Now, there's a match between the two in 3 days on RAW!"[/color]

MVP walked the down the ramp, ignoring the audience. He slid into the ring and bounced of the ropes and taunted. He turned to the stage.

The fans cheered as Festus entered the Smackdown arena with Jesse.

Match: MVP vs. Festus

MVP came to hit a side kick, but Festus smashed his head into MVP's knee. He ran forward and hit a clothesline. MVP stood, and Festus came running. MVP tripped him, and he fell to the ropes. MVP bounced off the ropes and smashed his knee into Festus's head. He Irish Whipped Festus into the corner and then Festus recieved a Player's Boot. MVP went for the cover, but Festus kicked out at two. MVP went for a Clothesline, but Festus dodged, and MVP hit the referee instead, knocking him down. Festus connected with the Flapjack Slam, but there was no referee to make the count. The Brian Kendrick entered the ring through the crowd and hit Festus with a Kick to the back of the head. Kendrick helped MVP up before dropping him with a Low Blow. Jesse came in the ring with a Steel Chair to hit Kendrick, but Kendrick retreated to the back. Jesse revived the referee and put Festus' arm on MVP, but MVP kicked out at two. MVP connected with the Playmaker and pinned Festus to win the match.

Winner: MVP

[color=purple]"MVP wins the match, but not without taking some serious pain."[/color]

[color=orange]"You know what they say, J.R., no pain, no gain!"[/color]

[color=purple]"I guess you're right, Tazz. I wonder why Kendrick attacked MVP, though."[/color]

[b]Suddenly, Lawrence Davidson, Vince's friend from the gym that was assaulted and knocked unconcious about a month ago, comes into the ring and assaults Hardy, literally destroying him before putting him on his shoulders like he was going for an FU, but sitting straight down. Christian tries to help Hardy, but Davidson catches him and hits him with the same move. Devon Immortal comes in the ring and begins to assault Hardy before picking him up and hitting him with a Flipping Piledriver.

[color=purple]"I don't know what's going on! That man is Mr. McMahon's friend, Lawrence Davidson, and he is just leaving carnage in the ring."[/color]

Khali gets up, but Davidson gets a chair and smashes him over the head with it.

The fans stand on their feet and cheer as The King of Kings makes his way to the ring with a sledgehammer in his hand. Davidson runs out of the ring as The Game enters, but Immortal tries to Clothesline him. Immortal gets blasted in the chest with a sledgehammer, followed by a Pedigree, as Davidson makes his way up the ramp. The Game checks on Christian as he stares at Davidson.[/b]

The WWE Champion emerges on the stage with the WWE Championship around his waist. He is holding a Sledgehammer in one hand and a bottle of water in the other. The fans cheer like crazy as he makes his way to the ring.

[color=purple]"The Game's got that equalizer, and we know he can do some damage with it. Just ask Devon Immortal."[/color]

[color=orange]"That hammer was meant for Lawrence Davidson, but Immortal ended up being in the wrong place at the wrong time."[/color]

The Game gets a microphone and begins to speak.

"I'm not out here to play games. Davidson, I want you to get your a*s to this ring right now and we'll settle this thing like men."

The Game drops his microphone, takes off his leather jacket, and holds his Sledgehammer with both hands.

"Triple H" chants begin to fill the arena as the crowd, and The Game, await Lawrence Davidson's arrival.

Triple H stares angrily at Orton as the fans continue to boo.

"But wait, don't get all angry just yet. You see, I know you're upset with Mr. McMahon and Lawrence Davidson, so I decided to try and help you out a little bit. Next week on Smackdown, you will go one-on-one with my apprentice, Devon Immortal."

This receives some cheers.

"However, Hunter, if Devon Immortal beats you, then I will automatically become the World Heavyweight Champion at the Royal Rumble."

The Game picks up his microphone.

"You know what, Randy? That's fine. Next week, I'll beat the living h*ll out of Devon Immortal, and after that, I'll beat the living h*ll out of you."

"Triple H" chants begin to fill the arena as the crowd stands on their feet and cheers.

"Hey Randy."

Orton looks around.

"Hey Randy!"

Orton looks at the TitanTron and notices the ECW Champion, Chris Jericho, standing in the back.

"What do you want?!"

"I just thought I'd let you know that I talked to Chandler Emerald, and he's agreed to make a match for next week on Raw. That match, is going to be Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton!"

[color=purple]"Oh my god! This rivalry is finally gonna come to a head!"[/color]

[color=orange]"Orton and Jericho in the same ring at the same time?! This is gonna be huge!"[/color]

Finlay and Slash were greeted by cheers. They high-fived eacother and ran down the ramp, high-fiving the fans. They walked into the ring and jumped onto the corners, taunting. They jumped down and faced their opponents.

Match: Dolph Ziggler & John Morrison vs. Finlay & Slash [Non-Title]

Slash and Morrison started. Morrison came and used a neckbreaker. Slash jumped up and hit a High Knee. He bounced off the second rope and hit a Lionsault-like move. He jumped up again and taunted. Morrison stood and recieved a swinging neckbreaker, followed by a suplex. Slash tagged in Finlay, who went to work on Morrison with a stomps on the leg. Morrison stood and kicked Finlay in the leg twice, then used a leg drop on the fallen Finlay. Morrison hit a Springboard Neckbreaker, then tagged in Dolph. Ziggler used a knee drop, then a standing elbow drop. He pinned Finlay, who kicked out at two. Ziggler pulled Finlay up and hit an Alabama Slam. He pulled Finlay up and hit that devastating running enziguri and pinned Finlay for the win.

Winners: Dolph Ziggler & John Morrison

Morrison and Dolph walked backstage as Slash went to check on his partner.

The fans cheer slighly as J.R. exits the ring.

Main Event: CM Punk vs. Ezekiel Jackson [Championship Scramble Qualifying Match]

Match: Jackson takes Punk down with a powerful Clothesline before hammering away at The Straightedge Superstar with some vicious Right Hands. The referee forces Jackson off of Punk. Jackson goes for another Clothesline, but Punk has the same idea, and they Clothesline each other at the same time. The referee begins to count, since both superstars are down. Punk gets to his feet first when the referee's count reaches seven. Punk goes for a Suplex on Jackson, but Jackson overpowers Punk and reverses it into a Vertical Suplex, smashing Punk into the mat. Jackson goes for the cover, but Punk kicks out at two. Punk takes Jackson down with a Dropkick. Jackson starts to get up, but Punk Knees him in the back before Kicking him in the back of the head. Punk goes for the cover, but Jackson kicks out at one. Punk hits Jackson with some Smacks to the face before taking him down with a Head Kick. Another cover by Punk, but again, Jackson gets the shoulder up. Punk goes on the Ring Apron and attempts a Springboard Clothesline, but Jackson catches him and Chokeslams him.

[color=purple]"Look at that power!"[/color]

[color=orange]"I told you Jackson's was gonna win! Punk's done for!"[/color]

[color=purple]"One..two..th..Punk kicks out! Punk kicks out!"[/color]

The fans cheer wildly as Punk gets the shoulder up at two. Jackson's eyes widen in disbelief.

[color=orange]"How in the world did Punk just kick out of that?!"[/color]

Jackson picks up Punk and tries to Chokeslam him again, but Punk Elbows him in the head, causing Jackson to drop him. Jackson goes for a Big Boot, but Punk ducks, picks Jackson up, and connects with the GTS. Punk gets the victory.

Winner: CM Punk

[color=purple]"Punk did it! Punk's goin' to the Royal Rumble to participate in the Championship Scramble!"[/color]

[color=orange]"I don't believe it! My god what a victory!"[/color]

Punk celebrates in the ring when suddenly Triple H appears on the TitanTron, walking in the hallway. Randy Orton runs up from behind and takes Triple H down. Orton viciously attacks The Game before Punting him in the head.

[color=purple]"What in the world have we just witnessed?"[/color]

[color=orange]"Randy Orton just Punted Triple H in the head. The Game's gonna need medical attention."[/color]

Lawrence Davidson enters the ring from the crowd and begins to assault CM Punk from behind.

The crowd goes absolutely crazy in excitement.

Booker T emerges on the ramp and smiles.

[color=orange]"I don't believe it!"[/color]

Lawrence Davidson stops attacking CM Punk as Booker T rushes the ring. Davidson Clotheslines Booker T, but Booker T gets up and drops Davidson with a Book End. He signals for the Scissors Kick. Booker T goes for the Scissors Kick, but Davidson counters and picks him up on his shoulders. Booker battles out, though, and Kicks Davidson in the chest before dropping him with a Scissors Kick.

Just wait until you read this! WWE Legacy presents, No Way Out 2009! This historic pay-per-view will take place on February 15, 2009! This PPV will be historic as it features the return of one of the most wild and crazy match types of all time.

WWE Legacy presents the return of the [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scaffold_match#Scaffold_match]Scaffold Match[/url]! This crazy match takes place twenty feet above the ring, and the only way to lose is to be knocked off the Scaffold and down into the ring! More details on this match will be available in the "coming weeks", but I thought it would be nice to let you all know!
