Monkey
Yea but, their whole game was around fast break points, fast plays, 3 pointers, the sun's defense isnt that great, and they rely on high scoring. Yeah Shaq can block shots and dunk, but he can't shoot free throws for beans, a prime weakness for any team because of the "hack-a-shaq" during a close game. Since the Suns like to play fast, they have to slow their playing down to allow Shaq to get back on offense. Plus, in a close game, they will have to keep Shaq in for rebounding purposes, but then they can just hammer Shaq and then know they will get the rebound off a free-throw
GHawk
Since Shaq has been on teh Suns his free-throw % has went ^.
Miazo
I know. The reason he's bad at free throws is because he can't get those chubby arms off his sides.

Miazo
He would be so much better if he played a fast paced tempo.

Monkey
Shaq is too fat to play a face-paced tempo and he is getting old. He won't make it that much longer in the NBA, what the Suns need is a center who is faster, like Ben Wallace or (although it will never happen) Pau Gasol. Notice when the Lakers play, Pau Gasol often tries to run a fast break and sometimes trails and finishes the fast break with a powerhouse dunk. Slash
It wouldnt make a difference if the suns had Big Ben or not. But I would love to see him come back to Detroit......

Slash
His numbers have gone down since leaving DET <.< I bet that when his contract runs out, and if Detroit offers him a decent contract, he will agree.
GHawk
That don't matter. He won't. I'm telling you.
Monkey
It depends, Detroit lost Chauncy Billups and Antino McDyess, but got A.I. meaning that maybe something even better will come to them rather than try to get back their old players. Back to the Shaq discussion, I believe, if Shaq does leave Phoenix, the Suns will do A LOT better because they will be able to return to their old playing style, fast and furious :D
