Espada are numbers 1-10, so if your 13 then you are not even an Espada.

plus its the lowest number is the strongest, meaning that Aizen would Not trust you with something as important as the key.

 

And, this takes place Long after the original invasion, this is an entirely different set of Espada, your Leader is not Aizen, its #0 (look at the 1st post)
