sacred beasts vs the gods

Recommended Posts

Well the god fusion has infinite attack while army has 10000 at most, I'll just ignore the fusions.

In the end, I say the Demons are better.

Why? To be blunt I think Obelisk is the best of them, BUT the demons have more playability. They aren't divine so they CAN be searched with other cards. Heck, Uria with 0 attack is very easy to search...

Although I must ask, what effects do the gods have for this debate? Slifer is slightly better in the anime then in the video games. And as for Obelisk...

The Egyptian God Cards are much more playable than the Sacred Beast God Cards by far. They are ridiculously easy to summon. You can use Dasher's ability for them to easily hit the field. Despite the fact Dasher Turbo really got shot down by the Limiting of Reasoning and Monster Gate, using Dasher as a means to summon one God Card is no impossible task since Destiny Draw, Dark Grepher, Armageddon Knight, and Foolish Burial all exist.

Uria is the least playable of the Sacred Beasts. Keeping 3 Continuous Traps out is a very hard thing to do.

Raviel is more playable than Uria but it is shot down by the fact it is only remotely playable in Dark Gaia but I wouldnt even use it there since Allure of Darkness is the only compatible Draw engine Raviel can use. Since it is no good out of play, it seems rather pointless using it since Masked Beast Des Gardius outclasses it as a Nomi (Level 8 and Allureable) and 700 ATK points makes no difference since Dark Gaia usually only needs at least 4000 ATK to pull off an OTK since Infernal Gainer exists. The Dark Fusion and Dark Calling method is also good.

Hamon is the most playable Sacred Beast by far. Despite the fact you -3 yourself just for a 4000 ATK beatstick contriadicts the win condition of Crystal Beasts (that win condition being Crystal Abundance), it could still possibly function as some sort of secondary win condition.

Crappy situational nomis vs. Illegal animu cards.

I think the Sacred Beasts win because they are actually playable in the sense that "Hey, I can use this card in a tourney and not get laughed at and kicked out." Well, with the Sacred Beasts you'll still get laughed at, but no DQ's.

Am I the only one who sees a similarity to food?

Hamon = Ham

Raviel = Ravioli

Uria = ........Jumbalaya? I don't know.

lol!!! Nice one Fh-Fh, anyway, the god cards are 100 times easier to summon than the sacred beasts. They also have infinite ATK when fused. GOD CARDS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the god cards.

they got more efects than can be on a card.

why someone think there is no writen effects? because there is no place on the card.

and the god cards cannot destroyed by effects ,magics or trap cards.

the effect of ra is the best.

this card gain the attack and defence points of the tributed cards,

the effect of the life points, cannot destroyed by efects magic or traps,

and some more effect or two...

Assuming that the Gods have their WCT2008 effects, the only useful monster out these seven (the anime-only God fusion doesn't count) is Ra. He at least is part of an FTK.

Your secondary win condition is to use Ruby Carbuncle to swarm, then attack and kill.

Hamon contradicts that, too.
