Giving a splice a transparent backround

This is usefull when your splice is at the top of a post or on a differnt forum with a differnt color skin. It is also usefull if you are makeing a comic or some kind of design with the splice in it.

 

1.Open Gimp

2.Go to file and push open

3.Open the splice you want to have a transparent backround

4.go to layers then go down to transparency.

5.Push color to alpha layer

6.Then semi flatten

7.save it and now you are done

Thanks,plus,the semi flatten does not work.

When you Color to Alpha,you just set the opacity back up again.
