Vector Nightmare
Well, it's increasingly difficult to justify killing off most of the cast. And the Dark Signers were all originally dead, which is how they became Dark Signers in the first place. There's got to be a line regarding who survives and who doesn't. All the sacrifices to the Jibakushin had to come back, or else the entire city would have been absorbed and even victory would not have meant a thing. That's not character development material, that's a freaking city-wide apocalypse. I could live with the absorbed people returning. I would like it if they did not, but I could live with it if they did. And even if they did not, how can you compare a city worth of people dying, to the whole world being destroyed? And the method the Dark Signers died was rather supernatural in itself, considering the "crumbling to dust" thing. Supernatural death can be reversed, I guess. Besides, I think the Crimson Dragon may have intervened in that case. Godwin did want to combine the powers to "destroy the world through the King of the Underworld and rebuild it with the Crimson Dragon". Godwin and Rudger did walk into the light of the afterlife, so I'm pretty sure they're gone for good. But you said it already. The Dark Signers were dead from the beginning. Their revival was stupid because now they're essentially zombies. And the method the Dark Signers died was rather supernatural in itself, considering the Divine did die, unless I missed some secret revelation that Divine survived being literally eaten by Ccarayhua. It's been confirmed by the databook that he was revived along with the other absorbed people and is currently in prison. I will agree that bringing everyone back and then not including them in the cast for the next season (Rally, Misty, Demak, etc) cheapened the whole thing with them dying. Bommer got to reappear for like 2-3 episodes, and Kiryu got a huge arc. Carly was just a Jack fangirl/stalker, and I tend to think she's meant to be comic relief. Her dying was probably better, because of the development her character gave Jack, in life and death. Jack doesn't seem to give a damn about her in season 2+, which seems really counterproductive to season 1. Yusei and Kiryu at least continued their character themes in regards to each other. Yeah, Carly is a living reminder that people who write anime hate consistency and going into deeper plot threads. Kiryu's only purpose was to flaunt the Infernity archetype. Bommer's only purpose was to act as a pretty pointless plot device to lead Jack to Scar-Red Nova (pointless, because it would've been much simpler and made more sense if Jack had the whole dream thing and went to Nazca by himself). It was to the point where we wonder whether Yusei actually HAS those friends any more. What happened to his season 1 chums? The one he flipped out about their safety during the Dark Signer arc? I mean, he only spent years with them before Satellite got connected to the City, and he got super p.o.ed and wanted to beat the hell out of the Dark Signers because of them disappearing. That's what I'm saying. If that's all those people who were revived are worth for in the new season, it would've been much better to just leave them dead. Brinolovania
It's been confirmed by the databook that he was revived along with the other absorbed people and is currently in prison....You have got to be f***ing kidding me. He was eaten, for god's sake! Chewed up! Burned by stomach acid! How is he still here?!
Vector Nightmare
You accept people who get turned into bulbs of purple light and absorbed into giant geoglyphs being revived, you accept people who turn to dust being revived, and that is your problem? If anything, the last time we saw Divine, his body was way more intact than any of the Dark Signers or any of the other people 'killed' during that arc were at the time of their deaths. For all we know, Divine might've been chilling in Ccarayhua's stomach this whole time. Also, epic lulz @ "chewing up" (would you really 'chew' something the size of a fly?) and "stomach acid" (WE ARE TALKING ABOUT A SPIRIT HERE, SURE, A MATERIALIZED SPIRIT, BUT STOMACH ACID?!?!?! THAT'S THE ISSUE?!?!) Next thing we'll be talking about how Ccarayhua crapped him out during the bathroom break.
evilfusion
I could live with the absorbed people returning. I would like it if they did not, but I could live with it if they did. And even if they did not, how can you compare a city worth of people dying, to the whole world being destroyed? If everyone in the city died permanently, there wouldn't be a season 2+. The ending would be far much of a downer. That's an end-of-series ending, not end of season. I think the ZONE Arc will end with something closer to that line. But you said it already. The Dark Signers were dead from the beginning. Their revival was stupid because now they're essentially zombies. I see the logic behind them not staying dead, but we dont have to like it. It's been confirmed by the databook that he was revived along with the other absorbed people and is currently in prison. I'd like to invoke my right as a fan to disregard extra material not explicitly shown. Divine died. Really, unless he appears explicitly on-screen I will believe him dead and be happier for it. Look, Misty's role as a Dark Signer was to avenge her brother's death, and after killing Divine, she apologized to Aki and was more or less at peace for avenging her brother. Letting Divine live cheapens everything about Misty, worsened by the fact she never appears again. Carly's only purpose is the "love triangle" involving her, what's-her-name, and Stephanie. She hasn't done anything else to warrant mentioning in the later season, aside from the comic relief involving her. Jack doesn't even seem to acknowledge her any more, and he obviously cared during the Dark Signer arc, carrying her glasses as a memento. That's what I'm saying. If that's all those people who were revived are worth for in the new season, it would've been much better to just leave them dead. Ironically, isn't it the dark feel the show had gathered the reason it was so popular? In retrospect, the whole ordeal was cheapened by having no permanent side effects. Only Kiryu contributed an ounce of awesomeness to the show after revival.

Merci
[spoiler=Warning: Spoiler Pic] And did I mention that the Episode 149 page has been changed a bit? And Shooting Quasar Dragon is confirmed to be truly real. We're going to see some impossible moves in the upcoming episodes. For example: ZONE summoning five TMGs and Yusei summoning five Synchro monsters which then allow him to Delta Accel Synchro Summon.

Jord200
1. the MC is really devoted to his job.....2. is it my imagination or does that 1 Temporal Machine in the preview for next week's episode look like it has Anzu's face? O_o3. Zone is Yusei. Like I didn't see that coming a mile away.4. Crow- ohnoes! BWD is going to nuke the field and destroy DWD and RDA! Yusei- I activate my Trap Card, negate the destruction, and deal 1500 damage! Zone- *crashes into building and damages mask* Everyone- What?! Zone is Yusei?! Yusei- *mindblown*somewhere, far far away.....Plaicido- then this means I tried to kill our boss.....Bruno/Antimony- I've known since episode 144..... Chaos Number: Card Master
That was hilarious MC charging back in to commentate on a duel that could destroy the whole city He should have gone up to the Arc Craddle and commentated on every duel Also I reckon yusei will summon Shooting Quasar Dragon like this Yusei has Life Stream Dragon, Stardust Dragon and Black Feather or Red Demon Dragon on the field (+ 2 other Dragons) He activates a Trap that cuts the levels of all of the cards on his side of the field in half Life Stream is a Synchro Tuner. So Life Stream, Stardust and Black Feather (or Red Demon Dragon) create Shooting Quasar Dragon
wiithepeople
Life Stream is a Synchro Tuner. So Life Stream, Stardust and Black Feather (or Red Demon Dragon) create Shooting Quasar Dragon Not a bad pattern of thought. But did you ever think that it could be a Fusion monster or even (just throwing this in for the lulz) an Exceed monster? Given ZEXAL starts after the events of GX but BEFORE the events of 5D's, it could be a plausible suggestion. Say for example RDD, Stardust, BFD, and/or LifeStream was on the field. Yusei can always go all like "I use all [number of Lv. 8 Dragons here] of my monsters for an Exceed Summon!" Also note there might be no limit to the monsters that can be used for the Exceed, since the mechanic is still being revealed piece by piece, but what we do know is that the Levels of the Exceed Materials MUST be the same. It could be one hell of a curveball in the duel if you ask me, because NO ONE is going to expect an Exceed Summon already! Also...ALL HAIL TROLLSEI!! Chaos Number: Card Master
That would be cool though i don't reckon they will use Exceed in 5ds though they might use a Fusion Anyway I thought it was confirmed that it would be Yusei's Delta Accel Synchro therefore it has to be a Synchro
DisasterShark
No Exceeds in 5D's, we already know that Yusei will Delta Accel Synchro his Shooting Quasar Dragon. But how will he get it? Since Z-one gave him the Accel Synchro, what about the Delta Accel Synchro? Also I am confused about Z-one. He helped Yusei and co. while upside down, but now he is the right way up and being EVIL!!!! Also, has anyone noticed that Z-one looks different than in Episode 93... Merci
I don't. For one, Jack Atlas's design was probably never actually meant for this kind of thing. For another, Jack VS Yusei kind of sounds boring to me. To tell the truth, I would have preferred a Yusei VS Judai or something like that than this. Maybe even a final-final antagonist who was manipulating Z-one.
