Vector Nightmare
It's pretty much like I said. He sets the cards in the future, and then they come back in time so he can activate them. Rather than screwing the rules, I think it's actually interesting symbolism with the whole time control pattern.
Merci
It's screwing the rules, and nothing can change that.
Premier Alexander Romanov
I once created this monster. It does time travel properly.
Hyyppa
Why is everyone so friggin' exaggerated-like raging about ZONE playing trap cards from hand ? I mean... Crow already did it a whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiile back... BOO CROW !? Nooo he plays BW... Jikaishin Metaion... you can has my love
Vector Nightmare
Yes but Crow played one card, which had a specific requirement for being activated from the hand. ZONE basically turned his Traps into Quick-Play Spells.
Chaos Number: Card Master
IT IS RIGGED That is all i have to say
Cin
Welcome to the world of YGO of course they rig it. Like the obv rig when Rua beat Michel. A card that allowed Machines to attack....
Chaos Number: Card Master
Imagine if they made a non rigged yugioh series What would that be like
Cin
Well anyone would win then and it'd mess up the whole concept of the main character winning most if not all the time.
Chaos Number: Card Master
Exactly Lets think about how 5ds would of finished One Jack would of probably beat Yusei at the Fortune CupTwo The Dark Signers would of won (Because the Earthbound Immortals could flog signer dragons any day)Three Team 5ds would of been eliminated against Team RagnorkFour Yilaster would of won and destroyed New Domino City And that was only off the top of my head Do we not want to see a ending with even only one of those things varied
Astro Dude
The world would be heck on earth if the Dark Signers won. Haven't you ever seen post-apocalyptic movies or anime?
burnpsy
Because the Earthbound Immortals could flog signer dragons any day ...Oh, so your post was a joke after all.
Astro Dude
Well, that and the fact that there wouldn't be a season 2 or 3 if the Dark Signers won.
Merci
There might still be a Season 3. Dark Synchros are also Synchros and so the Machine Emperors would still have attacked and destroyed them all, though this time there wouldn't be any ZONE or anyone else to stop it. On the other hand, Bonds Beyond Time is now 100% canon.
evilfusion
Unlikely. The Dark Signers winning would have involved Godwin destroying and rebuilding the world.
Merci
Oh, I guess you're right. I suddenly have a fanfic idea. What if ZONE did what he did, only to end up in an alternate universe where Rex rules the world? Anyway, I'm actually a bit surprised that Bonds Beyond Time is canon. evilfusion
We kind of knew it was canon ever since 135, when Paradox appeared in Aporia's flashback. Also, Paradox's goal in the movie was to remove the game from existence, which fits with the goals of ZONE and Aporia. 146 just confirms it. Chaos Number: Card Master
Im guessing that the movie happened some time in between the Dark Signers arc and the Pre WRPG Arc
evilfusion
Haven't seen the movie, so I don't have a clue, but that sounds possible.
~British Soul~
There might still be a Season 3.5Ds is ending soon so i doubt that*gets shot* thing is though the last few episodes need to fill in some of the last few plot holes
Chaos Number: Card Master
It would be cool if they made another season And here is how it goes Zone just survived the events of the Arc Craddle and now everyone is Synchroing again. Then the events of another Zero Reverse happen. The signers survive and meet up with Bruno only to create a plan to find who leads the Machine Emporers. Though when they get there they see something horrific. The Leader of the Machine Emporer army is Rex Godwin!!! And that is how it should happen it would be way better than Zexal
Merci
No, it wouldn't. It would be like the staff all just went 'screw it'. Besides, I would actually find that boring.
Chaos Number: Card Master
You see thats what people say about everythingIt would still be better than Zexal
Merci
You haven't even seen ZEXAL yet. It would probably be like GX, very bad during the first half, but then becomes insanely cool in the second. Precisely why I skipped the first 100 episodes of Yugioh GX. Legend Zero
And that is how it should happen it would be way better than Zexal More like ZONE is defeated and all is well, until another Zero Reverse occurs. Why, you ask? Because ZONE's little plan caused the use of Synchros to go into overdrive. As our heroes make their stand they find the true leader behind everything in 5ds, from the Dark Signers, to the original Zero Reverse, and Yliaster.......Yusei's father. When he discovered Momentum he new it's true purpose, that Momentum is actually a prison for an ancient, and deadly, beast. Zero Reverse was actually a failed attempt to get the older Godwin to release the beast, the Crimson Dragon and Death God stopped him out of fear then began their age old battle. (which also explains why Rudger had both Signer and Dark Signer powers in him) Can Team 5Ds defeat the man who started it all? EDIT: Unnamed Yiliaster guy is Yusei's uncle.
